PIERS Morgan today took aim at “disturbed” Good Morning Britain producers after they mocked up a “creepy” mug to commemorate his ‘wedding’ to Suits actress Meghan Markle.

Host Susanna Reid showed off the porcelain design, which featured Piers’ head superimposed on to that of Prince Harry, as the Royal posed alongside his wife-to-be.

This week, it was announced that the couple are engaged to be married in May 2018.

Yesterday, Royal sources confirmed they will tie the knot at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, which is where Harry was christened when he was three months old.

The happy news came shortly after Piers, 52, revealed he had enjoyed a boozy 90-minute ‘date’ with Meghan on a visit to London.

And picking up on the previous banter aired on yesterday’s breakfast show, those behind the ITV programme put on their creative caps to whip up the memorabilia.

Susanna, 46, who Piers hailed the “British Meghan Markle” on Tuesday, held up the bright white cup and told viewers: “There is a commemorative mug of what might have been to commemorate the engagement of Piers Morgan and Meghan Markle.

“This is a bit creepy!”

Chiming in with a worried expression on his face, the former newspaper journalist reinforced her words and continued: “It’s all very creepy actually.

“We have some really disturbed people working on this programme.”

The Londoner then squealed: “My poor wife has to look at this!”

Weather man Alex Beresford then chipped in: “It just looks like a picture of you and Susanna!”

Earlier in the segment, former Strictly Come Dancing star Susanna mused: “Apologies to Prince Harry.

“It could have been so different, after we found out yesterday that Piers had 90 minute date with Meghan Markle, probably before she had a date with Prince Harry, and chose Harry.”

Fans took to Twitter to giggle at the hastily-created cup, with one frantically typing: “I WANT THAT MUG!!! Pleeeeeease!!!”

Another quipped: “@GMB @piersmorgan @susannareid100 need a bigger mug for piers head mean that in a nice way,” as a third posted: “Typical @gmb Make even the Royal Wedding about themselves. Imagine making a commemorative mug with a picture of Piers Morgan on, even as a joke.”

Yesterday, 52-year-old Piers wasted no time opening up on he and Meghan’s 90 minutes together in his local watering hole, after revealing their friendship had been sparked when he followed the actress on Twitter.

He said the Royal-to-be downed THREE Dirty Martinis, made with vodka, as he sipped pints and debated US President Donald Trump.
