Lady Colin Campbell likens Meghan Markle to Hitler in scathing attack

Lady Colin Campbell took aim at Meghan Markle in a vicious attack, likening her to Adolf Hitler.

The 70-year-old has penned a book about Prince Harry’s relationship with the former Suits actress  Meghan and Harry: The Real Story – something Phillip Schofield has branded ‘tawdry and undignified’.

And, appearing on FUBAR Radio’s Access All Areas, the socialite pulled no punches when asked for her thoughts on the Duchess of Sussex and her activism.

‘I have no doubt that they tell themselves they’re doing the right thing, but we also need to remember that history is littered with people who thought they were doing good,’ she told hosts Stephen Leng and Love Island’s Joanna Chimonides.

‘I only have to mention Adolf Hitler, not that I’m putting them in the same camp as him.

‘It doesn’t alter the fact that Adolf Hitler thought he was doing good for the world. Mao Zedong, who also killed hundreds of millions of his own people, he thought he was doing good.

‘So I’m sorry you know, history’s littered with people who are deluded enough to think that because they want black to be white, that black is white. Black is black and white is white.’

Lady C also took aim at the couple for deciding to move across the pond, and start a new life in the US.

When asked if she believed Harry had these plans before he embarked on a relationship with Meghan, she spat: ‘If you believe for one second that Harry had anything like this up his sleeve you believe in the tooth fairy and the pig airline. They don’t exist. Absolutely not.

‘Had Harry married anyone else, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be here safe and sound in Kensington Palace. It’s completely Meghan.’

Branding the former actress a ‘fame addict’, the Celebs Go Dating star – who has been on a string of reality shows in the past – suggested that Princess Diana would be ‘horrified’ by their departure from the UK.

‘Diana, for all her failings, was very royal and I think she would be completely horrified by how the way things have gone,’ she added.
