George Clooney continues to spurn Prince Harry, causing Duke Meghan Markle to fall into a situation of laughing and crying

George Clooney Turns Down Prince Harry’s Invitation Amid RecoveryHollywood A-list actor George Clooney found himself in an unexpected situation during a visit from Prince Harry to his Italian villa in Lake Como. According to Omid Scobie’s 2020 book, “Finding Freedom,” the Duke of Sussex had hoped to take a private ride on one of George’s motorbikes. Unfortunately, George had to decline the request as he was still recovering from a recent motorbike accident in Sardinia that had left him hospitalized.

Despite the star-studded nature of the visit, with Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle being newlyweds at the time, George Clooney’s accident prevented him from joining in on the motorbike ride. The book details that Harry still took one of the bikes out for a spin, accompanied by one of his protection officers, but George himself was not yet back to enjoying such activities due to his recovery needs.

The Clooneys’ villa, a picturesque retreat on Lake Como, was a backdrop for this high-profile visit, just a few months after Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding. The couple flew out via a private jet arranged by George, landing in Milan before being driven to the villa. Their stay wasn’t just a private affair; other royals, such as Princess Eugenie and her then-fiancé Jack Brooksbank, were also present. The group reportedly enjoyed their time together, engaging in activities like playing basketball and looking after the Clooneys’ twins, Alexander and Ella.

George and Amal Clooney had been among the 600 guests invited to Harry and Meghan’s wedding ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on May 19, 2018. Amal, a renowned human rights barrister, made headlines with her stunning yellow Stella McCartney dress and matching hat. The wedding, watched by more than 1.9 billion people worldwide, was often compared to a red carpet event due to the number of celebrities in attendance.

This charming anecdote from “Finding Freedom” not only highlights the close connections between Hollywood and royalty but also underscores the occasional unpredictability of life, even for the most illustrious of guests.

The Hollywood A-list actor, George Clooney, had no choice but to turn down a kind offer from Prince Harry during the Duke’s visit to the Clooneys’ Italian villa in Lake Como.

In the 2020 book, Finding Freedom, famously co-written by Omid Scobie, Prince Harry wanted to take a private ride on one of George’s motorbikes but the Oscar-winning star was recovering from a motorbike accident in Sardinia which had left the star hospitalised.

The book states “Harry took one of them out with one of his protection officers”, but because of George’s recent accident, he wasn’t back to enjoying his motorcycle rides and had to recover.

‘Finding Freedom’ claims Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were just newlyweds when they flew out via private jet, arranged by George to Milan, and then were driven to his villa in Lake Como – only a few months after their royal wedding.
