Brooklyn Beckham shares poignant post about ‘his world’ before reaching out to family for first time

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have continued to support each other amid rumours of a rift in his family, with him paying tribute to her once again in a recent post

There’s been a further tribute to Nicola Peltz from her husband Brooklyn Beckham following a special occasion earlier this week. It comes amid the couple attracting much attention over the rumoured rift in the Beckham family.

Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, have made headlines in recent weeks over speculation of a ‘feud’ with his family, including his parents David Beckham, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51. The couple, who have now been married for three years, have continued to publicly support each other throughout.

Earlier today, Brooklyn shared a photo of himself and wife Nicola with his followers on Instagram. The photo showed actor Nicola leaning against her husband, who appeared to pay tribute to his wife in the accompanying caption.

Expressing his love for Nicola, whom he tagged, Brooklyn teased in the caption that she’s his world. He wrote “my” alongside an emoji depicting the globe. Beside a heart emoji, he also commented over the photo: “My absolute angel.”

Just hours later, Brooklyn shared a message for David’s mother Sandra Beckham. He marked his grandmother’s birthday with a post that included a photo of him beside her. Brooklyn wrote: “Happy birthday nanny xx love you so much.”

It’s said to have marked him reaching out for the first time to his family on social media. It was reported earlier that it’s thought to be the first time he’s publicly acknowledged his family amid the speculation of tension among them.

Despite the attention on them, it’s been reported that Brooklyn and Nicola are “solid” in their marriage. The couple have paid tribute to each other on social media in recent months, having most recently done so just days ago.

Brooklyn celebrated the anniversary of his proposal to Nicola in a post on Instagram earlier this week. They got engaged in 2020 and later tied the knot two years later in a star-studded wedding ceremony that was held in the US.

Alongside a selfie of them, he wrote to his wife: “It’s been 5 years since I asked this beautiful woman to marry me.” He continued in the post: “Best decision ever.” Brooklyn concluded by writing to Nicola: “I love you so much.”

Nicola also marked the occasion on her page. She wrote in a message for her husband: “5 years ago we got engaged. I love living life with you baby.” She concluded by writing in her post just a few days ago: “I loveee you so muchhh.”

Although met with support, the couple also received negative responses at the time. A source however suggested to the Mirror that Brooklyn and Nicola are stronger than ever, adding that they are “enjoying their lives together”.

The source told us earlier this week: “For every unkind comment, there are just as many full of love, but people so often choose to dwell on the negative. Brooklyn and Nicola are solid, and the idea that a heartfelt anniversary post warrants this level of scrutiny is frankly a bit ridiculous.”

They added: “It’s disheartening to see so much energy spent trying to tear down a young couple simply enjoying their lives together. They want no part in the public’s narrative.”

Esther Rantzen’s daughter appalled by sickening fake photos claiming to show star in coma

The former That’s Life host Esther Rantzen is battling lung cancer and now has to put up with fake photos online as well, as her daughter has blasted the cruel trolling

The daughter of Dame Esther Rantzen has blasted “appalling” online trolls as after they used AI to post fake photos online claiming to show the TV host in a hospital bed looking close to death.

Becca Wilcox appeared on BBC One’s Morning Live show to insist her mum was doing as well as she could be dealing with lung cancer at home, and did not look anything like the fake photos. She said: “I was just appalled by them. And I just want to say, first off, obviously these are not real pictures, they are fake pictures of what mum supposedly looks like.

“There is one I really hate because I think she is supposed to be dead or in a coma. It is an extraordinary thing to do I mean, a weird and horrible thing. She doesn’t look like that.

“She’s been very private about her battle with cancer. She knows that this is something that people are probably interested in, and she tries to do as much audio as possible. But for her, this journey is one that she wants to take with the privacy of her family, like lots of her friends haven’t seen her for months and months, so that’s the first thing they’re seeing.

“I’ve had to warn my brother to tell his kids that these pictures are out there, that they’re not they’re not real. That’s not what she looks like.” Giving an update on Esther’s health, Becca added they had a birthday celebration for her last weekend and showed new unseen photos of her mother alone and alongside her.

Becca added: “She looks great. You know, she has terminal cancer. She looks different to how she didn’t fall but she looks incredible.

“What I’m really grateful is to show you these pictures, which is how she really looks. This is her Sunday (showing photos on screen). It was her birthday party. We had a huge half pavlova cake. And you know, this is, this is her walking around her garden, completely different. Yes, some people are in hospital beds, some people are unwell, but that was a fake picture. This is what she looks like. This is literally last Sunday. I wanted you to see Mum looking well.

“I just want to put the record straight that she if she’s not on a hospital bed, she’s not dead. They’re not real, they’re not real pictures.”

In May 2023, Esther Rantzen has revealed her lung cancer, which she was diagnosed with in January, was in stage four. In as about her health, Dame Esther told the Mirror: “I’m on one of the new medications, and nobody knows if it’s working or not. But I will have a scan fairly soon which will reveal one way or another.”

At the time she explained she had gone public with her lung cancer diagnosis “because I find it difficult to skulk around various hospitals wearing an unconvincing disguise”.

Since then she has been a prominent supporter of the bill giving terminally ill adults in England and Wales the right to an assisted death. Stage four is the most advanced stage of lung cancer, and means the cancer has spread beyond the lungs or from one lung to the other. Dame Esther, who turned 85 on Sunday, enjoyed a successful TV presenting career which included hosting BBC consumer show That’s Life! for 21 years.

In the segment on Morning Live, presenters pointed out that fake photos are becoming more of a problem online.

Cruz Beckham is standing firmly by his mother, Victoria Beckham, amid renewed whispers of family tension – specifically surrounding his older brother, Brooklyn Beckham.

Victoria, 51, recently hosted an exclusive launch event in London for Isabel Rutman’s new jewellery line. Joining her were Cruz, 20, and his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel.

Victoria looked effortlessly chic in a black lace skirt, coordinating top, and a sharp oversized blazer. Jackie, 29, opted for a laid-back double-denim outfit, while Cruz showed off a relaxed style in loose jeans paired with a Dior button-down shirt.

The event – and Cruz’s presence – has drawn fresh attention due to swirling rumours of ongoing strain between the Beckhams and Brooklyn, the eldest son, as well as his wife, Nicola Peltz. While tensions reportedly began during the couple’s wedding preparations, and appeared to settle for a time, signs of distance have re-emerged in recent months.

Brooklyn and Nicola have been consistently absent from several key family gatherings. Notably, they skipped Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show, a major moment in her fashion career.

They were also missing from both David and Victoria’s birthday celebrations. Adding further fuel to the fire, Brooklyn failed to publicly acknowledge his father on Father’s Day and stayed silent when David received his knighthood – two occasions where the rest of the family showed their support.

The situation has only been heightened by cryptic activity online. One notable moment occurred on TikTok, where Cruz fired back at a commenter who seemed to question his career path.

“Are you going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?” the user asked.

But Cruz didn’t hold back, responding: “Wrong brother mate,” a pointed jab at Brooklyn’s famously shifting career pursuits, which have ranged from photography to cooking to aspiring to be a footballer.

While family dynamics appear increasingly strained, Brooklyn and Nicola continue to project an image of unity and luxury.

The pair are often seen travelling, attending high-end events, and posting affectionate photos on social media.

Most recently, Brooklyn marked a milestone in their relationship by sharing a sweet message on Instagram for the anniversary of his proposal.

“It’s been 5 years since I asked this beautiful woman to marry me,” he captioned a photo of Nicola kissing him on the cheek. “Best decision ever x I love you so much.”

Alice Beer usually fronts the show’s consumer segments…

This Morning star Alice Beer was noticeably absent from screens today (June 26) as hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley fronted a segment on scams.

As viewers will know, Alice is the show’s consumer editor. As a result, she usually fronts segments like the one that took place today.

However, Alice was nowhere to be seen. Instead, she was replaced by Grace Forell…

This Morning today – Grace Forell replaces Alice Beer

Grace was on hand to offer viewers advice on the latest scams doing the rounds, speaking to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard about concert ticket scams and mourners tricked into watching fake funeral live streams.

However, viewers were quick to note that it’s usually a job for Alice Beer.

    Let’s keep her.

“Have they given Alice Beer the push?” asked one. “Where’s Alice?” another posted. “Alice usually does this segment,” said another.

Another This Morning viewer gave Grace their seal of approval. They commented: “All I can say about this scammer item is that this new lass is easier on the eye than Alice Beer. Let’s keep her.”

Grace has actually been on the show before. She made her debut on This Morning back in November 2023.

    Where is Alice Beer?

Alice was absent from screens today, but is still listed on her Instagram as the show’s consumer editor. Grace, meanwhile, says she offers consumer advice on the ITV show.

A little check on Alice’s socials suggests she may be taking a break from screens to celebrate her milestone birthday.

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri agree on McLaren pecking order after ‘tough’ conversations!

McLaren held talks after the Canadian Grand Prix which saw Lando Norris misjudge an attempted overtake on team-mate Oscar Piastri and crash into the back of his F1 title rival

Lando Norris is still free to fight Formula 1 title rival Oscar Piastri despite slamming into his team-mate last time out. The Brit crashed out in Montreal two weeks ago when he misjudged a move on the other McLaren, before immediately apologising for his error.

Piastri was happy to forgive and forget, though McLaren still held talks with their drivers to nip any ill feeling in the bud. “They were not the most joyful conversations, but they were conversations that clearly needed to be had,” Norris admitted ahead of this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix.

“It is not about just me, but it is about how we perform as a team and we all know what the number one rule was, and continues to be [not crashing into each other]. So, there were very constructive things that were said, in an unfortunate way but in a good way, too, because many things have come out stronger which you might not have expected.”

Norris has a history of dwelling on personal errors but insists he is over this one after “a tough couple of days”. He said: “It took me a little time [to get over] because my team means everything to me. They are the people I have grown up with and the team that has given me my opportunity in F1.

“So, what happened in Montreal with my team-mate was probably the most painful part for me because it was the last thing I would ever want to happen and for that action to have come from me. But I have become a lot better at dealing with those moments and trying to move on as quickly as possible was very important. We come here with that in the past and we go again.”

And both drivers agree their dynamic remains the same with Norris free to fight Piastri, who leads the championship by 22 points. Norris said: “Nothing has changed. It actually showed the trust and honesty that Oscar and I have for one another.

“And it is important that we keep that going and we stay strong because we don’t want the downfall that we know other teams have had in the past. We want to race fair, hard and on the limit but we don’t want a repeat of what happened last time out and that takes both of us even though Canada was on me.”

And Piastri added: “Obviously, what happened in Canada wasn’t ideal, but we’re still free to race, still fighting for a championship each. So nope, [we’ll] keep going racing and make sure that obviously we don’t come into contact again.

“We knew going into this year it was probably going to be a close fight between Lando and I with the championship at stake, so it’s no surprise to anyone that we’re kind of in this scenario now. And I’ve said it multiple times before but Lando and I don’t just want one opportunity this year to win a championship. We want this to go on for as long as we’re in F1.

“I think the headline a few weeks ago was it’s not wise to fight for a championship or win a championship and bring the house down with it, so I think that’s still very much at the forefront of our minds. We want this success for years to come and having the team united is a very simple way of doing that.”

Ferrari have brought upgrades to the Austrian Grand Prix which Lewis Hamilton has been crying out for, though the Brit admits he is not sure how it is going to go

Lewis Hamilton admits he has no idea whether Ferrari’s upgrades for this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix will actually make his car any faster. Teams usually have a sense of how much time they might gain when bringing new parts to the race track, but that does not seem to be the case for Ferrari in Spielberg.

Hamilton has struggled for performance in races this season and has spent the last few weeks saying that he cannot wait for his team’s first major upgrade of 2025. But, now that it is here, the seven-time Formula 1 champion says Ferrari are unsure about what the results will be.

He said: “Firstly, I am happy that we have an upgrade, it is always exciting to get new pieces on the car. So I’m really grateful for everyone working hard to bring them, but we don’t really know the actual effect it is going to have.

“It’s not the normal information we’re getting of how much load you’ve added to the car, it is not necessarily clear, but hopefully it will be a step in the right direction, but I wouldn’t think we’re expecting it to change a huge amount, but fingers crossed it is better.”

Though Hamilton clearly wants more from his car, he has also been highly self-critical at times and doesn’t feel he has maximised his performances and results. But he offered an optimistic outlook as he said progress has been made on both fronts.

He added: “I’ve spoken so much about it, so I don’t particularly want to give you more insight into it, because, and I am not making excuses, we were second in the constructors’ before the last race, and we’ve had many problems in both sides, driver and car, but we are working towards it.

“The positive is that we are making improvements, we are progressing, whether or not you see that is not necessarily important to me. Personally, I feel like I am making progress, we are making progress, and that is what is most important.”

With McLaren dominating the season, Ferrari are looking more towards 2026 as an opportunity to mount a proper challenge for F1 glory. The next season will come with a whole heap of new regulations which will completely change how the cars are to drive and, after his first simulation test of the design this week, Hamilton’s team-mate Charles Leclerc did not sound too thrilled with what he experienced.

The Monegasque said: “Let’s say it’s not the most enjoyable race car I’ve driven so far, but we are still in a moment where the project is relatively new. My hope relies on the fact that it will evolve quite a bit in the next few months, but I think it’s no secret that I think the regulations for next year are going to be a lot, probably, less enjoyable for drivers to drive.

“So yeah, I’m not a big fan of it for now. But it’s the way it is. At the end of the day I think there’s a challenge, and I would like the challenge of maximising a very different car to what it is at the moment. But do I enjoy it? Probably not.”

  • Liam Lawson, once seen as the future of Red Bull Racing, has just been dealt a crushing blow. Despite his impressive performances, the team has made a baffling choice that could end his Formula 1 dreams before they even begin. What is Red Bull really thinking – and why now?

Liam Lawson, once seen as the future of Red Bull Racing, has just been dealt a crushing blow. Despite his impressive performances, the team has made a baffling choice that could end his Formula 1 dreams before they even begin. What is Red Bull really thinking – and why now?

Arvid Lindblad’s Fast-Track to Formula 1: A Dream Opportunity or a Costly Gamble for Red Bull’s Sister Team?

In the high-stakes world of Formula 1, driver lineups are as fluid as the fuel powering the cars. The latest development shaking the grid is the rapid rise of 17-year-old Arvid Lindblad—an exceptional talent from the Red Bull Junior Team—who has now been granted a Super Licence and is poised to make his Free Practice 1 (FP1) debut at Silverstone for the Racing Bulls. This move, while thrilling for Lindblad and his growing fanbase, could spell the end of Liam Lawson’s already fragile Formula 1 career.

A Meteoric Rise: Who Is Arvid Lindblad?

Arvid Lindblad has been on the radar for a while, dominating the junior categories and impressing in Formula 2 despite being one of the youngest on the grid. His performance in Imola, during a TPC (Testing of Previous Cars) session in Racing Bulls machinery, turned heads in the paddock. Despite a couple of minor spins, his pace, composure, and technical feedback earned glowing reviews.

It’s rare for a driver to earn a Super Licence exemption, but Red Bull’s top brass—including Helmut Marko—have made it clear: they’re grooming Lindblad not just as a test driver, but as a serious candidate for a full-time Formula 1 seat in the near future. His participation in FP1 at Silverstone is not just a PR move—it’s an audition.

The Domino Effect: Pressure on Liam Lawson

Liam Lawson, once considered a solid backup option for Red Bull, finds himself in an uncomfortable position. After an underwhelming stint with the main Red Bull team and a lukewarm return to Racing Bulls, Lawson has only managed four points this season. He’s made it to Q3 just once in ten races and has struggled for consistency, notably starting from the back of the grid in Australia and China.

For a team like Red Bull that demands instant impact and long-term promise, Lawson’s trajectory is worrying. With Lindblad’s rapid development and Isack Hadjar continuing to impress within the Red Bull talent pool, it’s hard to see where Lawson fits in long-term. Even Yuki Tsunoda—despite his own inconsistencies—has the advantage of experience and better overall performances in 2025.

FP1 at Silverstone: A Crucial Benchmark

Silverstone will be more than just a practice session for Lindblad. If he can demonstrate pace, maturity, and adaptability, the argument for giving him a full-time race seat strengthens dramatically. While one practice outing isn’t enough to definitively judge a driver, it will provide crucial data and a psychological advantage. If Lindblad outpaces Lawson or Hadjar in any measurable way, the message will be clear.

Red Bull’s system is notoriously cutthroat, and Lindblad doesn’t have to outshine Max Verstappen—he only needs to look better than Lawson. With Hadjar already outperforming expectations and Tsunoda showing signs of recovery after his crash in Imola and subsequent TPC test in Barcelona, Lawson is quickly becoming the weakest link.

What About Red Bull’s Long-Term Strategy?

Helmut Marko has clarified that Lindblad won’t jump straight to the Red Bull Racing seat, at least not immediately. That role, if vacated by Verstappen in 2026—a possibility being quietly entertained due to contract politics and regulatory changes—could go to Hadjar, provided he’s ready. The Red Bull team is playing a long game, developing multiple young drivers simultaneously while keeping Verstappen’s unpredictable future in mind.

But even without a Verstappen departure, Lindblad’s rise complicates Racing Bulls’ lineup. The squad can’t house more than two drivers, and as the youngest, most hyped prospect, Lindblad’s name now sits at the top of their shortlist. That leaves either Lawson or Tsunoda to make way, and based on current form and momentum, Lawson looks most at risk.

    Is Lindblad Ready?

Lindblad’s rapid promotion raises an important question: is he truly ready for F1, or is Red Bull rushing things again? The junior categories are littered with Red Bull proteges who were thrown into F1 too early—Jaime Alguersuari, Brendon Hartley, and Daniil Kvyat come to mind. However, Lindblad’s case feels slightly different. He’s been methodically tested, psychologically assessed, and backed by results.

His confidence, mental strength, and adaptability have been praised by Marko and other key figures. And unlike some rushed promotions in the past, this one seems measured. Silverstone FP1 is a low-stakes environment with high informational yield—perfect for a young driver trial.

Lawson’s Response: Resilient, But Running Out of Road

To his credit, Lawson has publicly maintained confidence. “My confidence hasn’t changed since last year,” he said recently. “It didn’t change in the Red Bull and it didn’t change in the first couple of races back in the VCAB.” He remains committed to making the most of every opportunity, starting with the Austrian Grand Prix—one of his strongest circuits from his DTM days.

Yet, time is no longer on his side. Red Bull and Racing Bulls operate on a results-driven model, and while Lawson may feel wronged by a lack of proper preparation or support, F1 doesn’t often offer second chances—especially not in a system as ruthlessly meritocratic as Red Bull’s.

The Bigger Picture: A Fork in the Road for Red Bull’s Driver Program

The situation around Lindblad, Lawson, and the Racing Bulls lineup reflects broader tensions within the Red Bull driver program. With multiple promising drivers and limited seats, the company is being forced to make high-stakes decisions that could shape their long-term competitiveness.

Hadjar is a star in the making but admits he’s not ready for Red Bull just yet. Tsunoda remains enigmatic—flashes of brilliance followed by costly errors. Lindblad is the shiny new toy, and Lawson is the veteran of the junior pipeline who might be the sacrificial lamb. And all this exists in the shadow of Max Verstappen’s uncertain future.

Conclusion: A Calculated Gamble Worth Taking?

Arvid Lindblad’s rise is both exciting and disruptive. For Red Bull, it represents a calculated risk—a chance to secure the next generational talent before other teams take notice. For Racing Bulls, it’s a necessary shake-up as they try to find the right mix of youth and consistency. For Liam Lawson, it’s a potential career-ending blow unless he can deliver, starting immediately.

The Silverstone FP1 session could be the tipping point. If Lindblad impresses, don’t be surprised if the Racing Bulls driver lineup looks different before the end of 2025. And if Lawson underperforms in Austria or Silverstone, it may be the final nail in the coffin of his F1 dream.

Alpine make decision on replacing Franco Colapinto as F1 team hatches unusual plan!

Franco Colapinto was drafted in to replace Jack Doohan but has also struggled to perform, as Alpine mull over their driver options alongside Pierre Gasly for their Formula 1 future

Franco Colapinto was handed a five-race deal by Alpine(Image: Formula 1 via Getty Images)

Franco Colapinto is set to continue to race for Alpine beyond this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix despite reaching the end of his initial five-race spell with the team. The Argentine was promoted to a race seat after Jack Doohan failed to score a point across the first six race weekends of the season.

Colapinto has also yet to register, however, and has struggled like his predecessor. The team sits rock bottom of the constructors’ championship and all 11 points they have on the board to date in 2025 were scored by lead driver Pierre Gasly.

The second seat remains an issue, even though boss Flavio Briatore has already given his public backing to Colapinto. The colourful Italian attacked Argentine media for putting too much pressure on the 22-year-old as he hinted that he would be given more time.

Briatore also rubbished suggestions that Colapinto had only been given an initial five-race deal, claiming that it had been made up by the media. However, it was specifically stated in Alpine’s initial press release back in May, when the driver swap that saw Doohan replaced was announced.

The race in Spielberg on Sunday is the last of that initial run of five given to Colapinto. But it is not likely to be his last with Alpine, for now, set to stick with the Argentine and give him more time to display the promise that he showed in the early weeks of a nine-race stint with Williams last season.

The Race reports that Colapinto is likely to still occupy that second Alpine seat at next weekend’s British Grand Prix. He is set to continue to represent the team on a race-by-race basis, an unusual arrangement in modern Formula 1 where drivers tend to have contracts for a defined period of time.

Colapinto’s Williams stint came in the latter stages of last season. That means he has never raced in F1 on the tracks on which he has been competing with Alpine so far this year, though Silverstone will offer more familiarity as that is where he drove F1 machinery for the first time in 2024.

And he referenced that on Thursday as he strongly hinted that he expects to still be racing for Alpine there next Sunday. Colapinto said: “To be doing my first FP1 with the team and doing a good job there next to Alex [Albon] was really good for my future and probably what put me in that situation to jump in later in the year.

“It was a very important weekend, and to be able to have that comparison now in the same track I’ve been driving the Williams last year, it’s good.

“It’s a bit more knowledge, a bit more experience. It obviously comes easier as well when you already drove an F1 at that track. You don’t get that shock of speed. So, yeah, looking forward to Silverstone, too, it’s a great track, full of high-speed, and I love driving there.”

Love Island favourite Shaughna Phillips was flooded with congratulations earlier this week after she announced she’s expecting her second child. But fans may be shocked to learn that the star fell pregnant during a brief home visit from her boyfriend Billy Webb – who’s currently serving a nine-year sentence for Class A drug offences.

And although Shaughna admits she planned the pregnancy, even tracking her ovulation to boost her chances of conceiving, she says she was stunned that her baby dream came true so quickly. “It was the first time that my ovulation window coincided with Billy being home,” says Shaughna, who is four-and-a-half months pregnant. “I was like, ‘You know what? Why not? Let’s just see’. And literally, the next day, I said to Billy, ‘I think I’m pregnant.’”

Her gut feeling was confirmed ten days later, when multiple pregnancy tests showed up positive. “I found out very, very early on,” she exclusively tells The Mirror. “I was doing maybe five tests a day. I’m not even exaggerating.”

Shaughna says Billy, who was jailed in 2023, is currently allowed out on home visits for “a few days” each month. And while she has so far been forced to raise her daughter as a single parent, the star says Billy is due for early release and should be reunited with his family in time for their new arrival. “I know the date that he’s due to be home, but I’m not saying it just because anything could happen,” she says carefully. “But hopefully he will be fully home before my baby is due.”

As Billy missed those sleepless nights and cuddles with Lucia first time round, Shaughna is looking forward to “having someone there” when the new baby arrives. “He definitely wanted another one. He didn’t get that newborn experience [with Lucia] and I think that’s what he wanted,” she says, joking that she wants Billy to “experience the newborn stage and everything it has to offer, because he does not know what is coming his way.”

Shaughna, who’s currently living with her solicitor mum while her home is being renovated, welcomed Lucia in April 2023, by which time Billy had already been taken into custody after being charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.

But she remained committed to keeping the father-daughter bond intact and regularly took Lucia to visit him – despite “hating every minute” of seeing her little girl in a prison environment.

“I never would have chosen this life for my daughter,” she said. “I don’t think it hit me what was happening until I got into the building. I was so nervous, but it was never a question for me. I always knew I was going to take Lucia to visit her dad regardless of what was going on between us at the time.”

While Shaughna had hoped she would fall pregnant quickly, she admits she felt conflicted when she first discovered she was expecting, as she didn’t want her daughter to feel like she was “being replaced”.

“I was hoping for it, but then the second I found out, I instantly felt guilty for Lucia,” she says. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, what have I done? I don’t want you to ever think that you were being replaced or anything like that’. It literally breaks my heart when I think about it.”

The reality star, who appeared on season six of the ITV2 dating show, says her daughter “hasn’t got a clue” that her mum is pregnant, joking, “She just probably thinks I’ve had a really big dinner.”

Shaughna recently revealed she’s lost a staggering 6st over the past 14 months, but says she’s determined to be kinder to herself both during and after this pregnancy. “I signed up to a gym three weeks after I had Lucia,” she recalls. “I don’t know why I did it because I didn’t go, but I had it in my head I needed to get back into my jeans.”

She adds, “I’m in a different mindset now. I’ve had a lifestyle overhaul and I’m more educated when it comes to diet and exercise. That said, I’m not going to pretend I’ve not thought about putting weight back on in this pregnancy, but I’m not going to put myself under the same kind of pressure I did the first time around. There’s no greater blessing than a child and that’s far more important than worrying about my weight.”

She also admits to putting herself under unnecessary pressure after receiving hurtful comments online. “People are cruel to me regardless – whether I’m skinny, overweight, pregnant, not pregnant, single or not,” says Shauna, who has rubbished claims that her dramatic weight loss is the result of fat jabs. “So I really need to try and drown out that outside noise.”

Shaughna and Billy first met in April 2019, after they were introduced by a mutual friend. But the pair put their fledgling romance on hold after Shaughna got the call from ITV2 one month later, asking her to appear on the winter series of Love Island. “I was like, ‘I’m not giving up the opportunity for Love Island for a boy I’ve known for less than a month at this point’,” she says.

After Shaughna left the villa, the pair rekindled their relationship, living together until 2023, when Billy was arrested while she was seven months pregnant with Lucia.

He was sentenced to nine years in prison after he admitted conspiracy to supply 4.5kg of cocaine worth at least £360,000. Speaking about the terms of his early release, Shaughna says, “He got nine years, but he had already served one year on remand. So that comes off, and you now serve 40 per cent of your sentence.

“I think by the time he comes out, he would have done over two and a half years in prison – and he will be on tag for a year. then he’ll be on license for the rest.”

Reflecting on Billy’s crime, she says, “Obviously he’d done this thing, which I don’t condone, and he’s paid his price for it. Although we’re not married yet, I do try to live by the mantra ‘for better or for worse’ and unfortunately, this was the worst, and he has to live with that now.”

Shaughna says Billy is “excited” about having another baby, but jokes that he “doesn’t know what’s going to hit him” when she finally gives birth. He was able to join her for the tot’s 12-week scan, says Shaughna, who reveals she’ll be having her second baby by C-section.

“I had a hospital appointment recently and they said that they think I might need a C-section just because of where my placenta is,” she says. “I was planning a C-section anyway, but it looks like I might have had to have had one, regardless. So yes, this baby will be coming out of the sunroof and not any other exit.”

Incredible moment senior royal appears to mock Donald Trump on live TV!

During his visit to the NATO summit at The Hague, Donald Trump met with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands – and many spotted a peculiar gesture by Maxima

A senior royal has been accused of mocking Donald Trump as they made an appearance together on live TV. The US president had been attending a NATO summit in The Hague, and during his time in the Netherlands, he was invited to stay at the Huis ten Bosch Palace, one of the Dutch King Willem-Alexander’s official residences.

After his stayover at the palace, the US president joined the King and his wife Queen Maxima for a photocall, which was broadcast live on TV. Trump stood in between the royal couple for a photo and gave the thumbs up as he told the photographer: “That’s the picture we want!” The King then asked Trump: “You slept well.

To which the president replied: “It was great.” A photographer then shouts: “Thank you all very much” and Trump adds: “Thank you very much”. And in an incredible moment, Maxima looks at the president before turning to the camera and making a gesture with her lips, which some have taken as her mocking him.

Trump joined world leaders including Prime Minster Keir Starmer for the NATO summit yesterday, where it was agreed more money would be put towards military spending.

However, the Dutch King and Queen aren’t the only royal couple to have an encounter with the president. Yesterday, it was reported that Trump is to make a full state visit to the UK later this year as King Charles and the US president’s busy diaries mean they are unable to meet informally first over the summer.

The Times reported that Keir Starmer has gone against the wishes of the King by bringing Mr Trump’s “bells and whistles” state visit forward to September. The newspaper said the Palace had been hoping for a more leisurely approach building towards the state visit, amid concern over Mr Trump’s threat to make Canada the US’s 51st state.

Many accused Maxima of mocking Trump

Charles, who is King of Canada, suggested in a letter personally delivered to Mr Trump by Sir Keir in the Oval Office in February that they might meet at Balmoral or Dumfries House Scotland first before the much grander state visit.

But it is understood that, although all options were explored, there were logistical challenges surrounding an informal visit, with complexities in both the King and Mr Trump’s diaries meaning a private meeting was not possible over the course of the summer months.

The diary issues come despite the King heading to Scotland for his summer break each year, and Mr Trump being expected to visit his new, second golf course in Aberdeenshire when it opens this summer.

It is said that the logistical reasons why the private meeting cannot precede the state visit are understood and appreciated by all parties. Formal planning for the official state visit has now begun.

Precedent for second-term US presidents who have already made a state visit is usually tea or lunch with the monarch at Windsor Castle, as was the case for George W Bush and Barack Obama. But Mr Trump is being treated with an unprecedented second state visit for a US president, this time at Windsor.

The Times suggested Sir Keir was hoping to prioritise his attempt to curry favour with Mr Trump and capitalise on the president’s fascination with the royal family.

Asked if No 10 had overruled the King over the visit, a Downing Street spokesman said: “That’s untrue. During his visit to the White House in February the Prime Minister was delighted to extend His Majesty the King’s invite for a historic second state visit to the president and first lady and the president was pleased to accept. Of course, the Prime Minister looks forward to welcoming President Trump.”
