Towie star Dan Osbourne has never shied away from a series of marital mishaps, and his most recent one involved the ex-wife of TV presenter Paddy McGuinness. The 33-year-old has been adamant that nothing happened romantically between the two and has suggested that these texts were “deep fakes” or even AI.

Alongside the alleged flirty messages, the model has shared that Dan had joined her for some nights out to help and lift her spirits after a difficult divorce from her husband. It’s thought that the two were comforting one another amidst issues with their marriages.

Now, after the texts were unveiled, Jaqueline posted a glamorous photo of her on Instagram, attending the British Soap Awards 2025, and Dan responded with a public comment. Beneath the post of her stunning in a long black gown, the reality star simply commented: “Beautiful!”, which received hundreds of likes.

At the time of his interactions with the model, it’s believed that Dan was still building bridges with his wife, Jacqueline, facing the heat of previous cheating rumours. To add further speculation, earlier this year, The Sun reported that the reality star had in fact moved out of his family home, which he shares with his actress wife, and into a secret place of his own.

A supposed source close to Christine said: “She is absolutely adamant nothing sexual happened between them. She also was 100 per cent single at the time and could chat to anyone she wanted,” The Sun reported.

Meanwhile a friend of Dan’s, according to The Sun, shared: “Dan is devoted to Jacqueline and would hate for any suggestion of impropriety. Of course, it’s possible for a man and woman to be mates.”

The famous couple first met back in 2013 at an awards ceremony, and by 2014, the two announced that they were having a baby together. Then after the birth of their daughter Ella, the pair got engaged and soon tied the knot at Cheshire Manor House in 2017.

However, it wasn’t long until things seemed to go downhill, and the two decided to split when Jacqueline was pregnant with their second child together. By the time their baby was born, rumours began to swirl about Dan’s fling with Love Island star Gabby Allen, and later, when the two got back together, another ex-Islander, Alexandra Cane.

Meanwhile it’s been confirmed that the two are still together and that Dan’s secret ‘lad pad’ was in fact just a property investment for financial purposes. Christine, on the other hand, is still amicably living with her ex-husband and has been on a journey of her own recently with the success of her documentary about her struggles with autism.

It’s believed that the star has recently pulled out of the popular Channel 4 dating show Celebs Go Dating, which comes after her recent relationship confession. Christine has revealed that despite her 11-year marriage to Paddy McGuinness, since she was a teenager, she has been interested in both men and women.

It’s just days before one of the biggest events in the royal calendar – Trooping the Colour. It sees all the royals out in force for the annual Sovereign’s Birthday Parade followed by them Firm appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

In recent years, spots on the balcony for the RAF flypast have been reserved for working members of the monarchy only – however, this wasn’t always the case. And before quitting as working royals and carving out a new life in the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were regulars at the major event. Meghan’s first appearance was in 2018, just weeks after she tied the knot with Prince Harry in a fairytale ceremony in Windsor Castle.

But in Harry’s controversial memoir, Spare, it was revealed Meghan tried to crack a joke with her sister-in-law Kate, but it led to a “yawning silence”.

At that year’s event, Meghan looked stunning in a baby pink dress and matching hat, standing proudly next to her new husband who was dressed in his military uniform. And while Meghan was seen chatting with Kate, William and Camilla, Harry claims things were far more awkward behind-the-scenes.

Harry claims that once they stepped back inside, Kate asked Meghan what she thought of her first Trooping the Colour and she replied: “Colourful”. Harry writes: “A yawning silence threatened to swallow us all whole”.

The Sussexes attended Trooping the Colour the following year, but since that they’ve not been on the balcony with the rest of the royals. And it seems Meghan has another important event to go to on the same day of Trooping this year.

It has been revealed she will speak as the guest of honour at a museum’s Night of Wonder in the US, as part of her work championing community wellbeing.

Meghan will be joined by other high-profile guests at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles, as the space is transformed into an enchanted nocturnal garden. The event will feature live music and installations representing local ecosystems and the LA landscape, and guests will be treated to a farm-to-table dinner that uses ingredients from the museum’s nature gardens.

The duchess’s mission to advance community wellbeing and uplift young women “dovetails with the museums’ approach to connecting community and science by fostering meaningful educational experiences that empower young minds”, the Office of Prince Harry and Meghan said.

Among the programmes shared on the website of their charity, the Archewell Foundation, is The Welcome Project, where Meghan focuses on addressing “the social isolation recently resettled women experience around the world and building more inclusive and connected communities”.

NHMLAC’s president and director Lori Bettison-Varga said: “We are proud to honour Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, a native Angeleno, whose work to advance community wellbeing and expand opportunity, especially for underserved communities, aligns with our equity-focused approach to developing science literacy for the next generation, including through our Stem and Steam Pathways programmes.”

Prince William turbulent relationship with Prince Harry has been a major topic of discussion for years, with the royal brothers having long been stuck in a very public stalemate.

But despite there seemingly being no possibility of reconciliation in the near future, one major family event saw the brothers put their differences aside and call a temporary truce almost three years ago. The pair have not seen each other during Harry’s recent trips back to the UK, including for the court case over his security arrangements in the country, which he fought – and ultimately lost – to have police protection for him and his family when returning to his homeland.

And although William and Harry’s relationship continues to be at an all time low, which is largely linked to a series of bombshells detailed in Harry’s memoir Spare, their feud came to an abrupt – albeit temporary – truce in 2022 after the death of their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

William reportedly reached out to Harry via text in the days after Her Late Majesty’s passing, asking if Harry and Meghan wished to join him and Kate on the Long Walk in Windsor, to view floral tributes and meet grieving members of the public who had gathered to pay their respects to the monarch.

Their display of solidarity was the first and only time that the two royal couples, who had once affectionately been referred to as the ‘Fab Four’, had been seen together in public since Harry and Meghan took a step back from their duties as senior royals and relocated to California.

A well-placed source told the Daily Mail at the time: “It happened very quickly – remarkable really considering they didn’t see each other in Scotland.”

The publication went on to confirm that it was William’s decision to extend the olive branch to his brother, and “absolutely not” the idea of his father King Charles, as was previously reported.

It claimed William felt that a united front was essential in the wake of the Queen’s death, as the family reunited to share in their collective grief in front of the world.

Both brothers had flown to Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire when they had been informed of the Queen’s failing health, but both they tragically missed the chance to say their last goodbyes to their grandmother, arriving in Scotland after the Queen had died.

In the months after Queen Elizabeth’s passing, Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare was released, in which he claimed he found out about his grandmother’s death via the media and not from his family.

However, royal author Robert Hardman claims Harry’s version of events isn’t true, instead insisting that the royal family attempted to contact Harry to discuss the Queen’s health. Hardman wrote: “In his memoir, Spare he suggests that no one had told him and that he was reduced to learning the news from the BBC website as the plane was landing. Not exactly.”

“A member of the Palace staff says that the King had been urgently trying to make contact with his younger son. There were repeated attempts to get through to him but no calls were going through because Harry was airborne,’ said the official.”

Despite the brothers not having seen each other in several years, it seems that the royal feud between the brothers is still very much alive. Earlier this week, William’s joked about warring families that seemed to stem from his own personal history.

As William visited Harry’s old Army regiment – the Army Air Corps in Suffolk – on Wednesday, he joked with servicemen and women about not always wanting to see their families.

During an important discussion as the Colonel-in-Chief about the welfare of service people in the regiment, he lightened the mood when he joked, after asking one soldier if he spent enough time with his family “some of them might not want to see you that much – it’s a mixed bag”.

A royal author claimed she “needed to rethink her assumptions”

Meghan Markle needed to “reassess” after she became aware of the Prince Harry‘s net worth, a royal author has claimed.

In a recent episode of the Duchess of Sussex’s Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, she admitted that people can fall prey to a “scarcity mindset” about money, with worries of never having enough. Contrastingly, Meghan also addressed a “guilt mentality surrounding having a lot” of wealth.

In Yes Ma’am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants, Mr Quinn claimed that when Meghan “discovered” Prince Harry was “only worth about £20 million, she realised she needed to reassess other assumptions she’d made about this strange new family”.

He wrote: “Meghan Markle had a typically American view of the royal family before she joined it. For her, the royal family was all about castles, glittering balls and limitless wealth and ease. As one royal staff member put it: ‘She expected a billionaire and she got a millionaire.’”

According to online sources, Meghan and Harry may be worth up to $60 million (nearly £45 million).

The claim is said to include his inheritances from his late mother Princess Diana, and the Queen Mother who died in 2002.

Prince Harry and his brother are said to have gained access to up to a combined £20 million from their mum. This amount was said to have come to them when they were in their twenties. And Prince Harry is also reported to have been entitled to a share of a trust fund said to total £14 million when he turned 40 thanks to his late great-grandmother.

The late Prince Philip adopted the Mountbatten name from his mentor, the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma – murdered by the IRA in 1979 – when he became a British subject in 1947.

Harry ‘delivered insult’ to King Charles over last name discussions

Meanwhile, one royal commentator has additionally claimed the Sussexes may not have “thought out” how changing names could impact their standing.

Speaking about the report on GB News yesterday (Sunday June 1), host Anne Diamond expressed her shock at the “insult” from Prince Harry.

It comes after Harry made a public plea during a BBC interview last month. He said said he’d love to have a “reconciliation” with his estranged family.

“I can’t think of a more hurtful insult that Harry could deliver to his father, can you?” she asked author Richard Fitzwilliams.

He said: “This news will be deeply hurtful to King Charles, especially as it would have been a very public renunciation of the royal family only a relatively short time after he (Charles) had become king.”

The royal commentator said the king may feel “appalled” by Harry’s “drastic step”. He also insisted this will only “widen the royal rift”.

PEOPLE has revealed that the Duchess of Sussex, 43, will be honoured at the Night of Wonder gala hosted by the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County (NHMLAC) on June 14.

When asked ahead of her royal wedding, if he saw one of his co-stars marrying a prince, he said he “saw it coming”.

He joked: “I saw it coming a mile away. I gotta be honest with you.

“She was regal in that moment, and it seemed like she’s only gotten better at it.”

But when quizzed if he’d watch the nuptials at the time, he opted out as the time difference between America and Britain meant he’d have to get up early.

Last night, a new series of Celebrity Gogglebox returned to our screens, and Channel 4 viewers had mixed opinions.

The hit show aired its first episode of Series 7 on Friday night (June 7) after wrapping the 25th series of the regular version.

Podcast host Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liz and show regulars, Rylan Clark with his mum, Linda, all appeared, while former I’m A Celeb winner Vicky Pattison and TOWIE favourite Pete Wicks, as well as Paddy McGuinness and Vernon Kay, made their debut.

Other celebs who reacted to the latest shows on TV included Diversity dancers Perri Kiely and Jordan Banjo, and couple Alex Scott and Jess Glynne, to name a few.

Channel 4 Celebrity Gogglebox fans divided

Despite the show being a hit with viewers, the new celebrity series left many divided.

“The ordinary Gogglebox was far too left wing, and bloody hell the celebrity version is worse,” one user wrote on X.

“Celebrity Gogglebox just isn’t funny like the original, it feels forced!” another person shared.

“Not the dreaded celebrities again, so many of them are so annoying,” a third remarked.

“How to ruin a programme. Turn it into a celeb version, god these people are dull boring,” a fourth said.

“The people on this show need to stop talking about their political views,” another insisted.

On the other hand, many fans were happy to see the celebrity version return with fresh faces.

Lulu has enjoyed a career in entertainment for over 60 years

During last night’s The One Show, viewers were distracted by iconic singer Lulu’s youthful look.

The Relight My Fire hitmaker, 76, appeared on the BBC evening show on Friday (June 6) alongside former TOWIE star Pete Wicks and singer Olly Alexander.

Regular hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp served as hosts, while their guests joined them on the famous green couch.

During her appearance on the show, Lulu promoted her new book and tour, If Only You Knew.

With a career spanning over six decades, the chart-topper admitted the book delves deep into her life. “People think they know Lulu, but no one knows you. I’ve always been very careful, very private and chatty, but I keep a lot of things to myself. Now I’m talking about everything, and this is because the landscape has changed,” she said.

“When I was younger, everything was a secret, and there was a lot of shame because you didn’t talk about things, but today people talk about things, and I think it’s healthy. I’ve had an amazing life, but there are certain things in my life that I’ve never discussed.”

She continued: “I had to go to therapy because it was difficult not to unravel the things that I’ve been told not to say and the things I was assumed of. Once you’ve spoken about the things you’re assumed of.”

“I have mental health issues, I’ve come through a lot, my family, and it’s things that I didn’t want to talk about, but I reveal it in the book, which is kind of like being let out of jail.”
