Watch: Patrick Mahomes gets ‘disrespectful’ to history by eclipsing Peyton Manning

    Mahomes’ legacy keeps growing

Patrick Mahomes is ready to contest another Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs and continue his incredible NFL career, despite not being one of the senior players of the sport. He has smashed various records and now he has his eyes on one of Peyton Manning‘s.

Mahomes is the quarterback for the Chiefs and they made it into the Super Bowl by beating the Baltimore Ravens. They are set to face the San Francisco 49ers, who put an end to the fairytale story of the Detroit Lions.

Mahomes is no stranger to winning playoff games, and he is now just one playoff game win away from passing Peyton Manning‘s record.

What makes that even more impressive is that he has played ten fewer playoff games than Manning did during his illustrious career, and he has got many games left to play before his career is over.

What has Manning said about Mahomes?

There were comments from Manning earlier in the season about Mahomes which showed that he has got a lot of time for the Chiefs quarterback.

Taylor Swift Tells Travis Kelce ‘I Don’t Give a F***’ After On-Camera Kiss

On week 14 of the NFL season, the Chiefs were beaten by the Buffalo Bills and Mahomes looks particularly angry and animated during that match.

He admitted that he was not pleased with his actions, saying: “I was still hot and emotional, but you can’t do that, man.”

Manning actually came out in support of Mahomes and said about the game: “The receivers, they’ve had a case of the drops. I think Patrick Mahomes has been incredibly patient. You sort of saw some of the frustrations boil over… I think they should change that rule, that if they’re going to call that just blow the play dead so we don’t see what would have happened.”

Breaking News : How Taylor Swift ‘has generated over $330MILLION for the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs this season’, report claims… with her whirlwind Travis Kelce romance taking over the world

It might be hard to truly put a number on the financial impact that Taylor Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce has had on the NFL. But over $300million seems like a good place to start.

It’s clear that Swift’s dating life has taken a front seat in the world of American football this season, bringing in viewers not only to the Kansas City Chiefs but across the NFL landscape.

According to data from Apex Marketing Group (via Front Office Sports), Swift has reportedly generated a ‘brand value’ for the Chiefs and the NFL in the area of $331.5million this season.

That data puts a value on print, digital, radio, television, highlights, and social media monitoring for Swift ever since she attended her first game in Kansas City back on September 24 up to the Chiefs’ divisional round game against the Buffalo Bills.

Per Apex’s president Eric Smallwood, digital content and online news generated the most value ahead of social media.

That $331million was a significant jump from when Apex last tracked her ‘brand value’ for the Chiefs and the league back in October – at the height of ‘KelSwift’ mania.

Back when they were photographed in New York City on a date, she had generated $166m up to that point.

Taylor has gone on to attend 12 of the Chiefs’ 18 games this season – including all three of KC’s playoff matches in the run up to Super Bowl LVIII.

Now, there’s a question of whether or not she’ll be in attendance at the Big Game itself – considering she has a heavily congested schedule.

Between now and Super Bowl Sunday, Swift will be at the Grammy Awards and will be playing a four-show stretch at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. The last of those shows comes the day before the Super Bowl itself.

If she does attend, she’ll be jetting back across the Pacific Ocean shortly after for a three-night spell at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia from February 16-18.

New photos emerge of Taylor Swift celebrating with Kylie Kelce and celebrity pals Cara Delevingne and Keleigh Teller after Chiefs’ win with the singer even donning boyfriend Travis’ AFC Championship cap

Taylor Swift and Kylie Kelce appear to be strengthening their sisterly bond as they were snapped together at Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game once again.

With the Philadelphia Eagles eliminated from the playoffs, Jason and Kylie Kelce hit the road to support Travis in the AFC Championship game in Baltimore – one week after meeting his girlfriend Taylor for the first time at the Chiefs’ win against the Buffalo Bills.

Kylie, a Philadelphia native and lifelong Eagles fan, wore a red University of Cincinnati sweater – the closest she will likely get to wearing Chiefs colors.

Taylor was also seen in a huge group photo, featuring Travis’s close friends and his parents Ed and Donna Kelce, who both wore their son’s No. 87 Chiefs jersey.

She later stole Travis’ commemorative AFC Championship cap, posing with it on top of her blonde, wavy tresses.

Kylie and Taylor’s celebratory snap came one week after they met for the first time at Highmark Stadium, where they also posed for group photos together.

One photo showed the Kelce WAGs with their arms wrapped around one another alongside Travis’s friend Aric Jones.

The pair beamed for the camera with the songstress holding up her drink with her free hand to toast the win.

Taylor also met Travis’s brother and Kylie’s husband for the first time during the divisional round in Orchard Park.

Watch: Travis Kelce’s love language is a $6K diamond bracelet for Taylor Swift with hidden message

Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs may be looking to nab another Super Bowl ring, but the tight end already secured his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, her own sparkling memento.

The pop star, 31, wore a relatively low-key red-and-black outfit to watch the football team defeat the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game Sunday, but she came to the game decked out in meaningful jewelry.

One of the “Bejeweled” singer’s most sparkling and sentimental pieces? A friendship bracelet that spelled out “TNT” — an explosive play on Travis and Taylor’s initials — and featured more than 4 carats of diamonds.

The custom piece is part of Wove’s collaboration with professional golfer Michelle Wie West, and a version with three letters like Swift’s retails for $5,680.

“As much as we would like to take credit for the TNT nickname, that was all Travis,” Wove lead designer Kendall Junck revealed in a TikTok video.

She also confirmed that she crafted two matching bracelets, with the daintier belonging to Swift and a chunkier version made for the 6-foot-5 footballer, though it’s unclear if he’s worn it out in public.

What’s more, Junck’s sister confirmed that Kelce, 34, bought his lover the special piece as a gift.

“It just feels so full circle because Travis and Taylor started dating because of a friendship bracelet … and they’re a Pennsylvania company, which is Taylor’s home state,” the proud sibling shared on TikTok.

On Sunday, Swift layered on plenty more notable jewels, including an EB & Co. ring ($14) featuring a tiny replica of Kelce’s jersey with an “87” on it, a garnet Mejuri ring ($598) and a sold-out Wear by Erin Andrews x BaubleBar Chiefs necklace ($44).

She further cemented her dedication to the Pro Bowler with Wwake earrings ($2,830) that feature opals — which, naturally, happen to be the “New Heights” podcaster’s birthstone.

The blond beauty has worn plenty of other significant jewelry throughout the NFL season, including other friendship bracelets featuring her beau’s name and jersey number; Kelce, meanwhile, sported one that spelled out with “Vigilante S—t,” the title of one of Swift’s songs.

As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to face off against the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 11 for the big game, there’s no doubt Swifties’ eyes will be glued to the star’s glittering accessories on the sidelines.

Chiefs’ Andy Reid says Kadarius Toney injury not ‘made up’ after receiver’s rant

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid rejected the notion that the team was lying about receiver Kadarius Toney’s injury status.

Toney, the polarizing ex-Giants first-round draft pick, was ruled out for the Chiefs’ AFC Championship game win over the Ravens with a hip injury and for personal reasons.

But Toney subsequently posted an expletive-laden rant on his Instagram on Sunday morning suggesting that he was healthy and the Chiefs were not being truthful about his availability.

“Yeah, well, obviously he’s been on the injury report,” Reid said Monday about that suggestion. “So that part, that’s not made up by any means. But he’s been working through some things and he’ll be back out there [at practice].”

Toney’s daughter was also born, though he did not address that in his video.

“Y’all reading all this cap-ass s–t? You didn’t believe it, I don’t give a f–k,” Toney said in the video. “Ain’t never been a n—a to do all that but man, that s–t cap.

“I’m not hurt. None of that s–t. Save that s–t. S–k my d–k too. I’m not hurt. None of that. It goes from hip to ankle to this to that.”

Reid said Monday that he had not yet seen the video.

“I actually haven’t seen it,” Reid said. “I heard people talk about it. But yeah, he’ll be back out there, and we’ll see how he does.”

It was hardly a surprise that Toney was ruled out.

He last played in Week 15, when he dropped a pass that led to an interception during the Chiefs’ 27-17 win over the Patriots.

Just one week prior, Toney’s viral offsides penalty doomed the Chiefs on national television in their 20-17 loss to the Bills.

Aaron Rodgers appeared to take a jab at fellow NFL star Travis Kelce over his ads promoting the flu and COVID-19 vaccines by referring to him as “Mr. Pfizer”—while also missing a key point when about pharmaceutical giants.

Patrick Mahomes defends BFF Travis Kelce From Arrogant and disrespectful Message from Aaron Rodgers

During an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, quarterback Rodgers gave a rundown on his team the New York Jets’ Sunday showdown against Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs edged a 23-20 victory over the home team.

“[It was a] moral victory out there, that we hung with the champs and that our defense played well,” said Rodgers. “Pat [Mahomes] didn’t have a crazy game, and Mr. Pfizer [Kelce], we kind of shut him down a little bit. He didn’t have his, like, crazy impact game.”

While Rodgers didn’t explicitly identify the target of his jab, it was clear that he was referring to Kelce, who just days ago unveiled a new commercial promoting the availability of the COVID and flu shots this fall. The ad is a partnership with Pfizer.

The comments weren’t particularly shocking, given Rodgers’ vocal stance against the COVID vaccines. He faced criticism late in 2021 when, after testing positive for the novel coronavirus, the then Green Bay Packers quarterback revealed that he had not been vaccinated as he expressed skepticism about the vaccine’s efficacy.

His comments were all the more controversial because he told reporters back in August 2021 that he had been immunized against COVID-19, though he didn’t detail how. He isolated for 10 days in November 2021 after testing positive.

As Rodgers’ COVID vaccine skepticism continues today, his “Mr. Pfizer” swipe at tight end Kelce is worthy of a raised eyebrow, given the source of his income. The Jets—to whom Rodgers signed earlier this year—are owned by Woody and Christopher Johnson, heirs to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical fortune.

Johnson & Johnson was also one of the pharmaceutical giants that released a COVID vaccine. However, Rodgers—who is currently recovering from an ankle injury—went an alternative route to combat the virus.

After testing positive for COVID-19 in 2021, Rodgers said that he had been taking the anti-malaria medication hydroxychloroquine and the anti-parasite medication ivermectin to treat his symptoms. According to medical authorities, neither medication has any proven effect on alleviating COVID symptoms.

At the time, he also said during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show that he had leaned on the advice of Joe Rogan, who in the past has faced accusations of spreading misinformation surrounding the novel coronavirus.

“I consulted with a now good friend of mine, Joe Rogan, after he got COVID,” Rodgers said at the time. “And I’ve been doing a lot of the stuff that he recommended in his podcasts and on the phone to me.”

In 2021, when Rodgers spoke about his reluctance to take the COVID vaccine, he said that it could stand to affect his fertility, though he didn’t cite any studies to support that particular theory.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), no clinical research has linked any of the vaccines approved for use in the U.S. to male infertility.

While the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine has been linked to cases of blood clots in adult women younger than 50, the CDC has stated that blood clots in male vaccine recipients are rare.

According to an Oxford University study published in August 2021, the risk of developing blood clots is “substantially higher” from COVID-19 infections than from any possible side effects of taking the vaccine.

During an appearance on the Aubrey Marcus Podcast in August 2022, Rodgers spoke about how he was viewed by each side of the political aisle after revealing his position on the vaccines.

“All the right was like, ‘He’s our champion now’ and all the left was, ‘He’s the enemy,’” he said. “Look, politics is a sham first of all, I think. And I wouldn’t do CNN just like I wouldn’t do Fox News. I have no desire to be a part of this.

“I’m sharing a personal opinion, based on my own health and what I think is best for my body. You can disagree with it all you want. You can agree with it and champion it. But I’m not saying it to gain favor with one side and hate from the other.

“I mean, actually, my opinion became very polarizing because people feel strongly on both sides about it. But I hope at the bare minimum that there was conversation that could be had—civil conversation. And if you still disagree, then it’s OK to disagree. But we’ve taken out I think in our society a lot of that ability to have differing opinions.”

Serena Williams intervenes in Venus Williams retirement plan as icon eyes next event

Venus Williams has not played a match since the US Open after picking up a horror knee injury.

    Venus and Serena Williams

Venus Williams is plotting another comeback after suffering a horror fall at Wimbledon last year.

The 43-year-old revealed that sister Serena doesn’t want her to retire as she outlined her plan to return to competition on home soil in March.

The elder Williams sister hasn’t played a match since August, when she crashed out in the first round of the US Open.

She rushed back after picking up a knee injury at Wimbledon but has been recovering ever since and is now set to compete in Indian Wells and Miami.

While the seven-time Grand Slam champion is still hungry to compete, she admitted that she had to have an “honest conversation” with herself after going out 6-1 6-1 to Greet Minnen in Flushing Meadows.

That was her worst loss at her home Grand Slam tournament.

But it was Serena who played a big part in her decision to keep playing. The 23-time Major winner ended her own career at the US Open in 2022.

“One of my big goals is to play United States, to play in the Miami Open and at Indian Wells,” Venus said in a new video. “I have not played there since 2019 due to injuries. It’s a long time… It’s a lot of years not to play at home.
