One person said: “#Corrie calling it. Gail will die at the hands of Joel. Bethany is already suspicious of Joel. He will go to attack Bethany but will end up killing Gail instead, whether on purpose or incidentally”, a different account put: “I suppose this Joel storyline is going to run until Christmas where he’ll kill off Gail #Corrie”, another wrote: “It’s only occurred to me when watching #Corrie tonight that Joel will probs have something to do with Gail’s exit” while a different viewer added: “I reckon Bethany tells Gail and Gail gets taken out in a fight to the death with Joel.”

Speaking of her decision to bow out, Helen said: “This year felt like the perfect time to leave the show after celebrating 50 years in the most wonderful job on the most wonderful street in the world. I made the decision at the start of the year and spoke to the producers who were very kind and understanding. I have been truly blessed to have been given the most incredible scripts week in week out, and to have worked with fantastic actors, directors and a brilliant crew. The past 50 years have flown by and I don’t think the fact that I am leaving has quite sunk in yet.”

Little known things about Harry and Meghan’s daughter Lilibet, who just turned 3 years old

Princess Lilibet turned 3 years old on June 4. She was named after Queen Elizabeth II’s nickname and is often called Lili by her parents.

Over the weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex held a cozy birthday party for their beloved daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor at their home in Montecito, California. The party was attended by family, close friends and a few of Lilibet’s little friends.

Before Lilibet was born in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan decided to step down as senior members of the British Royal Family and move to the US to live with their first son – Prince Archie (5 years old). An announcement from the Archewell Foundation said that Lilibet is named after Queen Elizabeth II’s pet name, while the middle name Diana is a tribute to her late grandmother – Princess Diana. Prince Harry and Meghan often call their daughter by the affectionate nickname “Lili”.

In March 2023, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex began using royal titles for their children, starting with the announcement of Lilibet’s christening. After King Charles III ascended the throne in September 2022, Archie and Lilibet were officially named prince and princess. The two babies’ new titles have been updated on the official website of the British Royal Family, and also appeared in the parents’ biographies on sussex.com – the official website of the couple Harry and Meghan were launched. in February. According to British Royal tradition, Harry and Meghan took “Sussex” as their children’s surname.

In June last year, Harry and Meghan’s family went to England to attend the Platinum Ceremony celebrating the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign, on the occasion of Lilibet’s 1st birthday. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex held a small gathering at Frogmore Cottage – their residence in England until last year. Speaking about the birthday party, the spokesperson described it as an “intimate, casual barbecue”. On this occasion, the couple released the first portrait photo of Lilibet taken by photographer Misan Harriman – a family friend. The photo captured the moment Lilibet smiled brightly in a blue dress, her red hair tied with a white bow.

Fans continue to admire Lilibet’s lovely images in the documentary “Harry & Meghan” released on Netflix in December 2022. Since stepping down as senior members of the British Royal Family, Harry and Meghan have limited sharing photos of their children in public. Princess Lilibet first appeared in the family’s 2021 Christmas card with the words: “This year, 2021, we are delighted to welcome our daughter Lilibet into the world. Archie has made us ‘Mommy’ ‘ and ‘Dad’, and Lili has created a complete family.”

Over the years, Harry and Meghan have occasionally shared about their daughter with the public, from her “very calm” personality to her determination to “keep up” with her brother. On May 6, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex privately celebrated their son Archie’s 5th birthday before embarking on a tour of Nigeria. This is their first overseas trip since stepping down as senior members of the British Royal Family.

Even though Archie and Lilibet weren’t on the trip, the two babies were always on their parents’ minds. While visiting a school in Abuja, Meghan revealed that “singing and dancing” is Lilibet’s “favorite class”, perhaps because “she loves to dance”. The Duchess of Sussex also shared that Archie is very interested in construction work, shown through the brothers’ robotics projects in a STEM class.

At an event about female leaders on May 11, Meghan described her children as “very talkative and sweet kids.” On Mother’s Day, May 12, she expressed that she “misses her children very much”. In his memoir “Spare” published in January 2023, Prince Harry recounted the moment Lilibet was born: “I slid my hand under that small back and neck. Gently but firmly, like those I brought my precious daughter into this world, and held her for a moment, trying to smile and look at her, but honestly, I couldn’t see anything. I want to say: Hello child. I want to say: Where are you from? I want to say: Is it better? Are you afraid? It’s okay. Dad will protect you.”

Kate Middleton and Charles health updates shared by emotional Sarah Ferguson after own cancer battle

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, joined Good Morning Britain on Wednesday to give an update on both her own health as well as the King and Princess of Wales’ after the Royal Family had a double cancer scare

An emotional Sarah Ferguson provided the nation with an update on the health of King Charles and Kate Middleton when she appeared on Good Morning Britain today.

The Duchess of York has faced her own brave battle with cancer while the Princess of Wales and the King recently revealed they were undergoing treatment for the disease. Meanwhile, Fergie was asked to address rumours that her ex-husband and close friend Prince Andrew is downsizing from the Royal Lodge, as well as giving a cheery update on the late Queen’s corgis.

Responding to host Susanna Reid’s health enquiry, she revealed: “All these years I’ve been thinking ‘am I good enough? Am I this, am I that? Do I get my finances right? Do I do this? And actually suddenly now with a mastectomy and then with malignant melanoma, every single day, it’s not a wake up call, it’s now a new normal.”

She added: “You can never say you’re cancer-free, but you can say that I’m doing well Susanna, and I’m very lucky, but I really am determined. Honestly 1.2 mammograms are not being picked up. The people are not going for their mammograms, they’re not being tested. They need to be tested, they can be tested and don’t be frightened.”

In response to the Duchess’s words, Susanna replied: “I had been avoiding it because I was worried and it wasn’t the painful experience that I had in my head that it was – so thank you. [It was] All clear, thank goodness.”

Sarah Ferguson has praised the King and Kate Middleton for their recent efforts in supporting Cancer Research UK, saying: “I’m so, so proud of the King going to CRUCK, the Cancer Research UK, and becoming the royal patron and going out there and talking to all these people because it gives everybody that wonderful feeling that they are being listened to, and I thought that was very brave of him to do that. The lovely Princess Catherine doing the video was so brave. I think family unity is an extraordinary thing and I’m honestly just so proud and I just send them lots of love and lots of support.”

When quizzed by co-host Martin Lewis about the King’s request for Prince Andrew and herself to relocate from the Royal Lodge to the ‘much smaller’ Frogmore cottage, Sarah responded: “Well, you know it’s not a ‘Debbie Downer’. It’s life in the fast lane. I’m a guest for a start. I am a very lucky guest and a very comfortable guest, thank you very much. But I tend not to get involved in brothers’ discussions and I think that’s the best, most safe place to be. Let the brothers discuss it between themselves and I keep it like that.”

The Duchess shared a touching insight into her private conversations with Queen Elizabeth before her passing. Appearing on ITV’s Loose Women, she revealed: “Just before the Queen died, Queen Elizabeth, the late Queen, she said ‘Sarah, just being yourself is enough and it’s good enough’ and as soon as she said that… I walk on and talk to you guys and you can ask me anything you like because I am okay now. I have done my apprenticeship of life at 64.”

Following such heartening words from Her Majesty, the Duchess added: “I now sort of feel as though, ‘wow, she said that myself is good enough’ and I thought she was one of the finest people I had ever met in my entire life and a legend, an icon and I love her and of course, I have the corgis everyday… They are fantastic.”

The Duchess will be joining the Loose Women panel again, reports Gloucestershire Live. She’ll be on Wednesday’s show from 12.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Meghan Markle told signing up for The Kardashians is demeaningMeghan Markle told signing up for ‘The Kardashians’ is ‘demeaning’

Meghan Markle’s decision to appear in The Kardashians is branded demeaning by a royal expert.

Former BBC correspondent, Jennie Bond, reveals the Duchess of Sussex would be going a level lower if she turns to reality TV.

She tells Mirror.co.uk: “They seem to have cut all ties with the Royal Family – except for Princess Eugenie – so it seems inevitable that they will now embrace lives as La La land celebs. Personally, I think it would be ludicrous and rather demeaning to appear in the Kardashians. I think they are better than that.

It was earlier reported that Meghan has been approached by Kris Jenner in the upcoming episodes of The Kardashians.

“I cannot imagine why Harry would want to invite the glare of reality TV into his life. Surely his only purpose in courting the publicity he so despises is to shine a light on the causes he cares about? Why invite more?” says Ms Bond.

King Charles appears to have sent a clear message to his estranged son Prince Harry that he will never be allowed back to Frogmore Cottage according to a royal expert.

    King Charles and Prince Harry

The 75 year old monarch is reportedly encouraging his disgraced brother, Prince Andrew, to vacate the 30-room Royal Lodge in Windsor and move into Frogmore Cottage.

This move comes after Prince Andrew was embroiled in controversy due to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Andrew has been accused of having sexual relations with Virginia Giuffre when she was just 17 years old. Giuffre alleges that she was trafficked by Epstein and passed around amongst his friends for sex.

However, the 64-year-old royal has categorically denied these allegations, the Mirror reports.

Now, a year after the Duke of Sussex was evicted from Frogmore Cottage, the King is sending him a stern message according to Royal author and expert Tom Quinn.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Quinn revealed: “For King Charles, forcing Andrew to move to Frogmore solves several problems at once it sends a message to Harry that, as a private citizen and no longer a working royal he will never be allowed back to Frogmore.”

In a letter following this honour, she shared that she would “treasure” the title translating as ‘the crown returns from over the sea’ expressing her special connection to Nigeria as her “home”. Meghan stated: “Thank you for your warm welcome to Nigeria. I am deeply humbled by your blessing of the traditional Yoruba name, Adetokunbo.”

“I treasure the name and appreciate your trust in me to carry it with grace and dignity. Our trip to Nigeria was significant for many reasons, not least because it provided us an opportunity to explore and understand my heritage, which extends to our children.”

“We look forward to returning home in due course.” Meghan’s sentiments left some Royal enthusiasts divided, while others showed outright support for Harry’s wife. One commentator on X praised: “It’s cool that Meghan’s embracing her Nigerian heritage. Representation matters, and it’s nice to see someone in the spotlight acknowledging.”

However, another dissented: “Embracing? Nah. Just attempting to be relevant.” A third individual chimed in: “Good to know she loves Nigeria her made up homeland from whence she did not come. If H is told to exit the USA they can return to Nigeria as promised, where she can bond with her letter writing family of prince and princess’s.” (sic)

Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has shrugged off the record number of Ofcom complaints that he received during his time on the show.

Back in March, Piers stormed out of the studio after an on-air spat about Meghan Markle with weatherman Alex Beresford which led him to later quit the ITV show and thousands of people to complain to Ofcom.

The 56-year-old pointed out that none of the Government-related complaints against him were upheld, writes The Mirror.

Piers then referred to Meghan as “Princess Pinocchio” as he suggested that complaints made against him for remarks he made about her wouldn’t be upheld either.

Over 54,453 people flocked to Ofcom to complain about the presenter after Piers suggested that he didn’t believe the Duchess of Sussex when she said she felt suicidal during her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

It overtook Diversity’s Black Lives Matter performance on Britain’s Got Talent as the most complained about moment ever.

Piers also bagged the sixth, seventh and 10th places after his interviews with Helen Whateley MP and Victoria Atkin MP.

Sharing an article revealing he had nabbed four spots in the top 10 most complained about moments, Piers tweeted an emoji wearing sunglasses.

He then tweeted a BBC article about the complaints, suggesting that Ofcom had seen “unprecedented” numbers of complaints with Piers attributing to a large portion of them.

Piers wrote in response: “What this doesn’t say is that NONE of the Govt-related complaints against me were upheld, and I don’t expect the complaints relating to Princess Pinocchio to be either. How can @Ofcom possibly conclude I must believe a proven liar…?”

Ofcom confirmed in the report that “in many of the cases above, [they] did not find the issues warranted an investigation”.

A spokesperson added: “We’re a nation of TV lovers, and it’s kept us entertained and informed like never before during lockdown. From time to time viewers see things that trouble them, and that’s where we come in.”

It was earlier reported that the home, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, had been offered to the Duke of York.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and King Charles
A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan confirmed the news. Buckingham Palace has not commented.

The duke and duchess now live in California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

They quit life as working royals in 2020 and left the UK shortly afterwards.

Frogmore Cottage, a Grade-II listed property in the grounds of Windsor Castle in Berkshire, was a gift to the royal couple from the late Queen.

Prince Harry and Meghan refurbished the property, owned by the Crown Estate, at an estimated cost of £2.4m in 2018-19. The cost was initially covered by taxpayers through the Sovereign Grant before being repaid in full by the duke.

They were reportedly told to leave the property by Buckingham Palace in January, days after Harry published his explosive memoir, Spare.

The book – which was released in January and became the fastest-selling non-fiction book in the UK since records began in 1998 – included claims Prince Harry was physically attacked by his brother, the Prince of Wales. He also wrote that he and his brother, the Prince of Wales, had begged their father not to marry Camilla, now Queen Consort.

Prince Andrew, the late Queen’s second son, lives in the nearby Royal Lodge, in Windsor Great Park, Berkshire.

He stepped down as a working royal in 2019 after a controversial Newsnight interview about allegations that he had sexually assaulted Virginia Giuffre. He has repeatedly denied the allegations.
In February 2022, he paid an undisclosed sum to settle the civil sexual assault case Ms Giuffre brought against him in the US.

Reports in recent weeks, not confirmed by the BBC, suggested the King is to cut Andrew’s annual grant which could leave him unable to afford his home’s running costs.

The cottage has a rich and varied history. Queen Charlotte, wife of King George III, had it built in 1792 as a place for her and her daughters to escape the court.

At the time it was fashionable for the wealthy to build large homes disguised as idyllic rural cottages.

Surviving relatives of Tsar Nicholas II also lived there after fleeing to the UK, following the murder of other family members by Bolsheviks in 1918.

Since World War Two, the cottage is believed to have been used as a home for members of royal household staff, before Prince Harry and Meghan moved in.

Meghan Markle takes a ‘swipe’ at Kate Middleton’s royal work in slick Archewell video

Meghan Markle has seemingly made a subtle swipe at Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, and her royal work in the latest glossy video for the Archewell Foundation

Meghan Markle has seemingly made a subtle swipe at her sister-in-law the Princess of Wales’ work in the all-new video released by the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation today.

Prince Harry and Meghan have released a glossy new video showing Archewell’s 2023 “impact” on the globe, with the video coming only hours after Princess Kate shared a video of herself at a baby bank with her three children. In the video that the Princess of Wales shared yesterday, Catherine could be seen picking out donations and making up boxes to go to children in need for Christmas.

Meanwhile, in Archewell’s latest video, Meghan can be seen being very hands-on, hugging what seemed like hundreds of people, and doing good deeds all while dressed incredibly glamorously. In the one-minute video, the people and causes that Archewell helped over the last 12 months are showcased.

Usually, the Archewell Foundation shares this kind of video in the new year, with previous videos in this style getting uploaded to their platforms in January. This has raised eyebrows online, with many people wondering if the timing of the post was brought forward to take the limelight off of the Waleses good work at the Windsor baby bank that they showcased.

Reacting to the video and suggestions that it was shared when it was to swipe at Catherine’s video and the hard work she is doing with her family, one person penned: “Desperately seeking attention.” Another then said: “You can bet anytime Catherine does something in public she does something to be seen seriously she still believes she has a greater voice.”

    Kate
Princess Kate recently shared a video of her doing work at a baby bank in Windsor
But despite there being a lot of tweets slamming the Duke and Duchess on social media, there was still a lot of love for the duo. One person gushed: “Wonderful work! I’m proud of how they’re making good use of their celebrity to help others. It’s good to see the fruits of their labour. Well done.”

Another said: “They’re so easy to love. So proud of these two remarkable souls!” And a third added: “Awesome work again by the Archewell Foundation led by Prince Harry & Meghan.”

This comes hours after Princess Catherine shared some very sweet footage that saw the mum-of-three take all of her children to The Baby Bank in Windsor after visiting the centre earlier this year, saying she would bring her little ones to help out, joking: “Perhaps my helpful ones and not my unhelpful ones!”
