David and Victoria Beckham UNFOLLOW estranged son Brooklyn, 26, as it’s revealed he’ll spend Christmas with wife Nicola Peltz’s billionaire parents amid family feud

David Victoria Beckham are no longer following their estranged son Brooklyn on Instagram after it was revealed he would be spending Christmas with wife Nicola Peltz‘s family.

The devastated parents, who are said to be feeling their eldest son’s absence more than ever as Christmas looms, have removed him from their following list.

Brooklyn, 26, is also no longer following his mother and father on the picture-based sharing platform.

It is the most public sign yet that there has is no communication between them amid their spiraling family feud.

Brooklyn’s wife Nicola, 30, also does not follow David and Victoria. They no longer follow her either.

The move comes after Brooklyn’s friends told Daily Mail in July that his brothers Cruz and Romeo had blocked both him and his wife Nicola on the social media platform.

Brooklyn, 26, is also no longer following his mother and father on the picture-based sharing platform

Daily Mail exclusively revealed how Brooklyn has snubbed his family’s attempts at reconciliation in the run up to the festive period as he will spend this Christmas with Nicola and her family in Miami, Florida.

A source said: ‘Brooklyn and Nicola decided they would be spending this Christmas with her family. Her parents are really excited to have them.’

Brooklyn and Nicola arrived in Miami earlier this week, with the hot sauce owner posing for a picture with her brother Bradley in the back garden of the incredible Palm Beach mansion.

His decision to spend Christmas with his in-laws will come as a blow to his parents and siblings Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20 and Harper, 14.

In recent weeks, David has appeared to offer a public olive branch to his son, in an apparent bid to put an end to their very public family feud.

The former footballer had shared a throwback picture of himself with Brooklyn and his younger brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20.

Cruz also made sure his brother knew he was thinking of him by sharing a sweet snap of the pair with brother Romeo on the beach in Brazil.

Brooklyn was seen wrapping his arm around his youngest brother Cruz as they posed on the beach.

Relations between Brooklyn, Nicola and the Beckham clan unraveled completely when they did not attend any of David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May. Brooklyn also failed to acknowledge his father’s knighthood in November.

Last week, Daily Mail revealed how Brooklyn’s nans are devastated they won’t be seeing their grandson this Christmas.

Victoria had shared a festive picture from her parents Jackie and Tony Adams’ house as they placed twelve stockings in a row on their fireplace, one for each grandchild. In pride of place was one reserved for Brooklyn.

The family feud has taken a particularly acute toll on Jackie, as well as David’s mother Sandra.

Some argue that hanging up Brooklyn’s stocking, regardless of the feud, is a sign of hope on Jackie’s part that – somehow, despite everything – Christmas might finally persuade her grandson to put aside his grudges and step on a plane to rejoin the family.

Friends of the Beckhams say Jackie and Sandra are ‘extremely sad’ about the situation.

The source added: ‘They’re not getting any younger and the cold truth of it all is that nobody knows when they will see Brooklyn next. It’s Jackie and Sandra who everyone feels so sorry for.’

David and Victoria will spend some of the festive period in the £60million home they recently bought on Miami’s waterfront.

It was where they were joined last year by Brooklyn and Nicola, and photographs

of their Christmas celebrations show everyone having what appeared to be a lovely time.

Victoria is believed to be working hard to put on a brave face and stay strong for her husband and teenage daughter Harper, 14.

The presenters, who announced their departures in October, were left in tears during the show as the end approached

They said: ‘Hi everybody! We did it!

‘We can’t, I honestly, we can’t believe it, but we just want to say thank you so, so much for all your support, all your votes, all your kind words, it means everything to me and Carlos.

‘So thank you. Thank you so much.’

Before the result was announced, Tess and Claudia received a special tribute VT after this year’s series highlights were aired.

However, they were left blown away as Craig Revel Horwood read out a special letter from Her Majesty The Queen.

It said: ‘Tess and Claudia, as you prepare to take your final twirl, I just want to say thank you on behalf of the millions who watch you each week.

‘I have often thought that Strictly is not so much a show about dancing as about friendships, the bonds forged, the struggles overcome, and the joy shared in undertaking a joint endeavour.

‘If that is true, then perhaps yours has been the greatest strictly partnership of all. The warmth, compassion, and sheer happiness you have radiated with and from each other has been at the heart

‘I think I speak for everyone when I say you have been utterly fabulous. I wish you both every success in wherever life’s journey takes you next, but as one who has appreciated its lifelong benefits, do promise us one thing, keep dancing.

‘With the warmest gratitude and admiration, Her Royal Highness, Queen Camilla.’

The show had opened as Claudia wore her trademark black jacket with a white blouse and revealed how ‘keep dancing’ had been stitched onto the back – a nod to her and Tess’ famous slogan.

Tess opted for a stunning rose-gold sequined dress that featured a daring thigh-high slit and shoulderless design.

The pair emotionally said: ‘Thanks to our cast and choreographer Jason Gilkison for that spectacular opening to the show, and thank you for joining us for one glorious last night in the ballroom.

‘Back in September, 15 celebrities took to the dance floor, and after one. Of our most exciting competitions ever, just three remain.

‘Amber, George, and Karen are your finalists, and tonight you decide who will be crowned strictly champions.’

Amber opened the show with her pro partner Nikita, performing a Paso Doble that was picked by head judge Shirley Ballas.

Following the dance, to Dream On by Aerosmith, the judges gave the couple 39 out of 40 – with Craig Revel Horwood’s nine stopping them from achieving a perfect score.

Up next was George and Alexis and their Viennese Waltz, dancing to Queen’s Somebody to Love.

Their judges’ choice was picked by Anton Du Beke.

Just like his scoring with Amber, Craig was reluctant to award a 10, despite Mosti, Shirley and Anton dishing out 10s so far. With Craig’s nine, George’s judges’ choice was scored 39 out of 40.

Motsi chose Karen and Carlos’ Tango to Red Right Hand by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds.

“He Didn’t Win the Crown… But He Won the Room”: Tom Read Wilson Lands Major ITV Role Just Days After Leaving the Jungle

Tom Read Wilson may have missed out on being crowned King of the Jungle —
but just 72 hours after stepping out of camp, he has secured something even bigger:
a brand-new presenting role on ITV’s This Morning.

And according to insiders, ITV bosses didn’t just invite him…
    they chased him.

A New Star Is Born on Daytime TV

Viewers fell in love with Tom’s warmth, poetic charm and soothing voice during I’m A Celebrity 2025, and now ITV has snapped him up faster than any finalist this season — even faster than new Jungle King AngryGinge.

    And he absolutely nailed it.

    Ben Shephard told him:

Tom entered the jungle as a late arrival, an unknown quantity among fan favourites — but within days, he became one of the most popular campmates of the entire season.

Speaking on ITV2’s Unpacked, Tom opened up about the intensity of camp life:

“If you add up the waking hours, I spent more time with these people than with my own loved ones this year.”

And in true Tom fashion, he described himself as:

The Future Looks Golden for Tom Read Wilson

He may have walked out of the jungle without a crown,

Emmerdale rocked at Christmas as Celia’s wicked escape plan is revealed — “Celia doesn’t mark Christmas,” she declares, ready to sacrifice everything as her criminal empire collapses

Emmerdale Star Confirms Wicked and Game-Changing Celia Plan for Christmas

Christmas in Emmerdale is rarely a season of goodwill, but this year the festive fallout is set to be darker, more dangerous, and more explosive than ever. At the centre of the storm is Celia, a character who has spent months hiding monstrous crimes behind the mask of a tough, respectable farmer. Now, as the walls close in and the truth threatens to spill out, Celia is preparing a final, ruthless move—one that could change everything for the village and mark her last chapter in the Dales.

Since her arrival, Celia has presented herself as blunt, no-nonsense, and hard-working. To the casual observer, she is simply another farmer trying to survive in a tough rural economy. But viewers know the horrifying reality. Behind closed doors at Butler’s Farm, Celia has been running a calculated operation built on fear, exploitation, and control. Vulnerable people have been trapped in modern slavery, their lives reduced to tools in Celia’s profit-driven empire. With the help of her son, Ray, she has orchestrated suffering on an industrial scale—cold, methodical, and utterly remorseless.

That empire, however, is now beginning to collapse.

The police are closing in, suspicions are mounting across the village, and Celia knows that time is running out. Christmas, traditionally a period of reflection and family, represents something very different for her: a deadline. If she does not act soon, this could be her last Christmas as a free woman.

Actor Jay Griffiths, who joined Emmerdale in late June 2025, has already confirmed her departure from the soap, signalling that Celia’s storyline is racing toward a dramatic conclusion. The question gripping fans is not whether Celia will leave the village, but how—and whether she will escape with her life and freedom intact.

Speaking about Celia’s mindset as the festive season approaches, Griffiths makes one thing clear: this is not a woman capable of nostalgia or sentimentality. Celia “doesn’t mark Christmas” at all. There are no decorations, no traditions, and certainly no warmth. This year, instead of celebration, she is planning an exit.

For Celia, the Dales have become too dangerous. Too many people are asking questions, too many threads are unravelling at once. April’s family, in particular, have become a major irritant—one she no longer has the patience or time to deal with. Meanwhile, her criminal operations are facing scrutiny from multiple directions, turning what was once a tightly controlled business into a liability.

Moira Dingle has emerged as one of Celia’s most immediate threats. Sharp, perceptive, and unwilling to be intimidated, Moira’s suspicions were first raised when she uncovered fraudulent invoices linked to Butler’s Farm. What began as a financial irregularity has grown into something far more dangerous, with Moira increasingly convinced that Celia is hiding something serious. Every question Moira asks tightens the noose, and Celia knows it.

Then there is Marlon, whose determination to protect April has put him on a collision course with Celia and Ray. Marlon will not stop until April is free from the county lines drug dealing that Ray groomed her into. His relentless pursuit of the truth threatens to expose the full scale of their crimes, drawing attention from both the authorities and the wider community.

And looming over everything is the risk that Paddy will discover the horrifying truth about his own father—kept as a slave on Butler’s Farm. If that secret comes out, it will ignite outrage unlike anything Celia has faced before. An angry village, combined with police pressure, could turn deadly. Fleeing the area may be the only option left.

Celia’s plan, then, is simple in concept but brutal in execution: disappear. Find another farm, in another location, and start again. It is heavily implied that this is not the first time Celia and Ray have done this. Their operation is mobile by design—exploit, extract profit, vanish, repeat. For Celia, people and places are disposable. Survival is all that matters.

But this time, there is a complication Celia did not anticipate.

The greatest threat to her escape plan comes not from the police or the villagers, but from the only person she trusts: her son. Ray has fallen in love.

Ray’s relationship with Laurel has introduced an unexpected emotional fracture into Celia’s carefully controlled world. Laurel, widely regarded as one of the kindest and most genuine people in the village, represents everything Celia despises—softness, empathy, and moral integrity. Yet Ray’s feelings for her are real, and through him, viewers have glimpsed a softer, conflicted side to a man previously defined by cruelty and manipulation.

This emotional connection threatens everything. Love makes Ray unpredictable. It makes him hesitant. And hesitation is something Celia cannot afford.

Celia’s response is chillingly practical. Rather than confront Ray’s feelings, she plans to remove him from the situation entirely by relocating their operation. Distance, she believes, will sever his attachment and restore control. It is a solution rooted in her belief that emotions are weaknesses to be eliminated, not understood.

What makes this even more unsettling is Celia’s history. This is a woman who has already demonstrated that loyalty—even to family—means nothing when self-preservation is at stake. A violent confrontation has been confirmed for the new year, and Celia’s capacity for cruelty is well established. The idea that she might sacrifice her own son to save herself does not feel far-fetched—it feels inevitable.

As Christmas approaches, tension builds on every front. The village edges closer to the truth, Ray’s loyalty wavers, and Celia becomes increasingly cornered. Her plan to flee may be bold, but it is also desperate, and desperation often leads to mistakes.

Will Ray choose love over loyalty? Will Laurel discover the truth before it is too late? And will Celia manage to escape the Dales, or will her crimes finally catch up with her in a spectacular downfall?

What is certain is that Emmerdale is setting the stage for a festive storyline that is anything but comforting. This is Christmas as a battleground—a final stand for one of the soap’s most chilling villains. As alliances fracture and secrets explode into the open, Celia’s great escape promises to be wicked, game-changing, and unforgettable.

Whether she runs, falls, or drags others down with her, Celia’s reign of exploitation is coming to an end. The only question left is how much damage she will cause before the curtain finally falls.

Labour’s Leadership Question Intensifies as Pressure Mounts on Starmer

A political tempest is raging across the United Kingdom as the Labour government under Keir Starmer faces unprecedented turmoil. Accusations are flying, trust is crumbling, and the future of Starmer’s leadership hangs by a thread amid a spiraling crisis that’s shaking the very foundations of British politics.

The controversy took a fiery turn with revelations about the government’s budget leaks, sparking a barrage of criticism against Chancellor Rachel Reeves. Historically, leaking budget details was a grave political sin. In 1947, Labour Chancellor Hugh Dalton resigned after an accidental budget leak. Today, Reeves stands as the first chancellor to have systematically leaked her budget over twelve months, causing uproar and market instability.

This pre-emptive disclosure of fiscal policy was not accidental but a calculated strategy known as “kite flying” — trial balloon tactics used to gauge public reaction before official announcements. Income tax increases and other harsh measures were deliberately teased and retracted, leaving no surprises in the official budget. However, insiders reveal a deeper rot: special advisers feeding journalists with insider information to manipulate market response, a claim Reeves vehemently denies but which seasoned media professionals corroborate.

The budget fallout has plunged the Labour leadership into chaos. Reeves openly blamed Prime Minister Keir Starmer for co-authoring the budget’s controversial tax rises, a move that signals internal fracturing and blame-shifting at the highest levels. “If I go down, Starmmer goes down with me,” she implied, highlighting a cabinet riven by mistrust and self-interest.

Starmer’s response has been notably weak and out of step. Rather than distancing himself from the backlash, the Labour leader threw his full support behind Reeves, a move his critics say betrays a lack of political acumen. Political analysts describe Starmer as a leader devoid of innovation and plagued by “the banality of evil,” blindly following civil servants’ scripts even as his reputation erodes.

The mounting scandals extend beyond fiscal mismanagement. Social policies under the current Labour government are igniting fierce public debate. Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson is under fire for continuing a controversial program of chemically castrating children—a practice condemned by critics across the political spectrum as unethical and cruel. Some Labour MPs hesitant about this policy refuse to confront their party’s agenda openly, highlighting fractures within Labour’s own ranks over gender ideology.

The contentious nature of Starmer’s administration has raised broader questions about the government’s moral compass. Voices from across the political landscape describe the administration as not only incompetent but “wicked” and “evil,” lashing out at the dismantling of ancient liberties like jury trials and the erosion of public trust through consistent misinformation, including misleading claims about energy bill relief.

Public confidence in Starmer’s leadership is plummeting. Even his own MPs reportedly regard him as a “caretaker” prime minister, a leader who has lost control over both his party and the nation’s direction. At Prime Minister’s Questions (PMQs), Starmer’s defense of the budget and his claims of economic stability were met with skepticism, highlighting growing disenchantment within the Labour ranks and across the public.

Opposition forces are quick to capitalize on Labour’s missteps. Conservative leader Kem Beton has launched a vigorous campaign attacking the government’s record. Having recovered from a period of political silence, Beton is targeting Labour’s failings with renewed vigor. The rise of the Reform Party is also influencing the political right, pushing Conservatives to adopt tougher stances on immigration and economic policy, complicating the political landscape ahead of key elections.

Despite the internal strife and mounting public dissatisfaction, some Conservatives warn against complacency. Polling suggests a fragmented right risks handing Labour an unexpected lifeline unless they unify or forge electoral alliances. The coming months will be critical as Britain watches whether the Conservative opposition can translate their strategy into tangible political gains or whether Labour’s internal fires will consume Starmer’s leadership entirely.

Keir Starmer’s position now teeters precariously amid a maelstrom of crises—economic, political, and ethical. The Labour party’s blatant infighting, budget mismanagement, and social policy controversies threaten to fracture the government at a time when Britain is struggling with increasing economic pressures and social unrest.

The question hangs heavy: Is this the beginning of the end for Starmer’s premiership? With mounting pressure from within and without, and a public increasingly skeptical of the Labour government’s capacity to govern effectively, the sirens of political downfall grow louder by the day.

As this crisis unfolds, the UK’s political future hangs in the balance, with voters and politicians alike bracing for the fallout from a government seemingly unraveling before their eyes. The nation watches and waits—uncertain if the current leadership can weather the storm or if a seismic shift in British politics is imminent.

Rachael made her first appearance as Claudia on August 29, in 2024. The star was attracted to the role after learning the character of Claudia was created by script executive Louise Bowes, who worked as a scriptwriter on McLeod’s Daughters.

Claudia was a businesswoman, who got stuck in Summer Bay as a result of being in a car accident.

Claudia blamed Justin Morgan (James Stewart) and Theo Poulos (Matt Evans) for the crash, as the two men serviced the car. The new face claimed that the brakes were faulty, and intended to sue Justin for negligence.

‘We love you Carpani. We miss you Rach. May your blessed spirit, so vivid, so full of life, laughter, joy, generosity, unique talent, energy, fervour, intelligence, resilience, courage and great humour, and a gentle humility, may you rest in peace….. Love you Rach.’

LIVE TV MELTDOWN GB News Host LOSES IT as Reeves Row Explodes

Two GB News guests went head-to-head in a fiery clash.

A furious row erupted on GB News after the programme was interrupted for a breaking alert on Rachel Reeves. Ben Leo’s show came to a halt after it was announced there was a 0.1% fall in growth in October, leading economists to question whether the UK is heading for a recession. Joining the presenter was political commentator Jonathan Lis and journalist Cristo Foufas, who clashed over whether Britain leaving the European Union is to blame for the lack of growth.

Claiming trust in politics is “on the floor” because the Labour government “lied through its teeth” to get elected, Foufas believes reversing Brexit would completely destroy people’s faith in democracy. “This is the worst argument. It was 10 years ago, mate,” Lis interjected. “Every single poll suggests the vast majority of people now support rejoining.” The 48-year-old claimed that the divide between those who voted for Brexit and those who supported Remain has “died out”.

A frustrated Foufas stepped in: “Why don’t we try, rather than blaming Brexit, enact some policies that give us some economic growth.”

As Lis attempted to interject, Foufas launched a blistering attack on the Chancellor. He exclaimed: “Hang on! Do you know what offends me? Most of my salary needing to go to fund Rachel Reeves, who basically wouldn’t know the truth if it came and cut her bob hairstyle, having to finance the nonsense she comes up with by putting the benefits up by not financing any growth whatsoever.”

When Foufas claimed Lis was attempting to blame the lack of growth on Brexit, he hit back: “Listen to what I say, not what you want me to say. I didn’t say I blame it on Brexit.”

Despite agreeing with Foufas that the government has not done enough to increase growth and productivity, he believes there is an “elephant in the room” that is causing the economy to lose its growth and value. He added: “At least own your hypocrisy, Cristo. Own it!”

A confused Foufas questioned why they were discussing Brexit if that’s not what he is blaming the lack of growth on. “It’s one factor,” Lis explained.

Things turned heated as the pair continued speaking over each other, with Foufas raging: “Let me finish!”

But Lis continued: “I said Brexit was a part of it. Brexit is still a huge issue and if we’re talking about why Britain isn’t growing, we need to address that elephant in the room. I’m sorry it offends you but it happens to be true.”

An enraged Foufas took another furious swipe at Rachel Reeves, retorting: “That doesn’t offend me in the slightest. What offends me is the ridiculous policies we have by a Chancellor who is so out of her depth she needs a life jacket, giving us the highest taxes in history, businesses on their knees, rates through the roof, unemployment going up month by month, debt higher than when it was in the pandemic.

Ben Leo was forced to cut the debate short (Image: GB News)

“Why on earth would you think that Brexit is going to help matters? All that’s going to do is make people who have the tiniest faith in politics left feel even more upset.”

Lis snapped back: “That’s not true at all. First of all if you actually listen to what I say. I know you don’t like doing that, but I did say that I’m not supporting relitigating that argument right now. I don’t think that we should go back into the EU right now or put that suggestion to the British people, even though the vast majority support doing just that.”

As they started speaking over each other again, Leo was forced to step in. “One at a time because we can’t hear you,” he demanded.

Foufas questioned once again why Lis had mentioned Brexit, leading him to declare: “Cristo, you cannot be this obtuse. I never said that Brexit wasn’t to blame. I’m saying that I don’t think we should relitigate the argument in public by going back into the EU, but of course, Brexit is one of the factors to blame for Britain’s slowing growth. Obviously.

As the duo kept going, Leo attempted to bring the debate to a close. But they both wouldn’t leave it, forcing the presenter to demand: “Thank you. Alright… That’s enough, guys.”

The final Strictly results show of the season has aired – also hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s last – and we now know who will dance in the 2025 final.

Tonight’s Strictly results show (December 14) saw Balvinder Sopal and Amber Davies forced into the dance-off.

And, after both couples had danced again – Balvinder danced her Salsa and Amber performed her Couple’s Choice – it was over to the judges…

Strictly results – who left tonight?

Sadly, the curtain has come down on Balvinder’s time in the competition. The judges voted unanimously to save Amber, sending Balvinder and her partner Julian Caillon home.

As a result, the Strictly Come Dancing 2025 finalists are Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin, George Clarke and Alexis Warr, and Karen Carney and Carlos Gu.

    ‘Adored every minute’

Speaking to Tess Daly after her elimination, dance-off queen Balvinder said: “I’ve absolutely adored every single minute. All the dance-offs, all the challenges… But just more than anything, just being in this building and dancing on this floor with such an amazing human being.

“It was my Yes Year, and I said yes to Strictly. My family, we’ve had some hard times, but they’ve been here.”

Bal’s sweet tribute to Strictly hosts Tess and Claudia

As a Strictly superfan, Balvinder continued: “Everyone’s been brilliant. The minute you walk into this building, it’s like a massive hug. It’s such a wonderful place to work. ”

She then added: “Claudia and Tess, I’m grateful that I got to be on the show on your last moment here as well. Because you, for me, are what Strictly is about. You’re the era of Len Goodman and Bruce Forsyth, and that’s when I started watching it. And that, for me, is really special.

“This year, it’s been full of so many serendipitous moments. I’m so lucky, and I’m really, very happy.”

    Fans react to Strictly results

Viewers were pretty mixed over Balvinder’s exit. Some fans of the show said that viewers had got the two stars in the dance-off wrong. They thought George should’ve been in the bottom two dancing against Amber.

“Absolutely the wrong decision. Should have been George and Amber in the dance-off,” said one. “Bal is literally what this competition is all about.”  “I agree. But I knew it would be what happened,” said another sadly.

Although sad that Balvinder has been eliminated, other Strictly fans admitted it was “probably” the right result. It came after Bal survived five dance-offs.

One commented: “That’s probably the correct result. I’ll be voting for the only non dancer in the final: the fabulous George.” “I am gutted for Bal but she should be so proud of her journey,” said another.

“What a journey it’s been for Bal,” said a third. A fourth added: “Sadly her time was up. She should be so proud of herself for all that she’s achieved.”

Kirstie Allsopp’s Quiet Admission About King Charles Leaves Viewers Tearful

The monarch gave a health update in a televised address.

Kirstie Allsopp says King Charles is ‘not just living with cancer’ (Image: ITV)Kirstie Allsopp penned a heartfelt statement as the Location Location Location presenter was flooded with messages of support. In a televised speech as part of Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign King Charles addressed the nation. The royal shared “good news” about his cancer, saying in a personal message that early diagnosis and “effective intervention” means his treatment can be reduced in the new year.

The King said: “This milestone is both a personal blessing and a testimony to the remarkable advances that have been made in cancer care.” This is the most recent update on the King’s health since he revealed his diagnosis in February 2024.

Kirstie, 54, addressed the King’s latest message as her comment section was flooded with messages as she addressed his health woes.

Taking to X on Saturday, she penned: “The King is not just living with cancer, he is working with cancer.

“His constant devotion to supporting & promoting thousands of brilliant organisations & charities and representing our country has never stopped, he is an inspiration for many people impacted by cancer.”

Her 427,000 followers flocked to comment on the post with some divided over her statement.

One person remarked: “That’s true. And it’s also true to say that it’s demotivating for others. He has support (cooks, cleaners, valets, chauffeurs, private secretaries etc). Most won’t. His support staff help keep him working. There will be many not able to work as they don’t have that support.”

Kirstie replied: “I know many people with loads of love and support who have just collapsed after a cancer diagnosis, it is not all about who has what, a lot of it is attitude.”

Kirstie Allsopp reacted to King Charles’s televised address (Image: X/Kirstie Allsopp)Another expressed: “Unfair comparison. Most people living with cancer or undergoing cancer treatment don’t have staff to do everything for them or enough money to not worry about paying the bills when they need to take time off work for treatment.”

Kirstie commented: “I’m not making any comparisons to anyone. I’m just pointing out that he is getting on with things.”

Others defended the Channel 4 presenter’s sentiment after she branded Charles an “inspiration”.

A social media user said: “It’s great to hear any positive stories. Hope he makes a full recovery.”

Another added: “It was such a wonderful thing to encourage people to take a test if they had symptoms. Our King is the best of men!”

King Charles’s type of cancer has not been identified and treatment and monitoring will continue, but he said: “Early diagnosis quite simply saves lives.”

According to Buckingham Palace, the King’s recovery has reached a very positive stage and he has “responded exceptionally well to treatment”, so much so that doctors will now move his treatment “into a precautionary phase”.

The regularity of treatment is going to be significantly reduced – but the King, 77, is not described as being in remission or “cured”.
