Denise and her ex-husband Tim Healy were joined by their sons – including the 1975 performer Matty – along with her current husband, Lincoln Townley, and others
Denise Welch enjoyed some festive civility by reuniting with her ex-husband Tim Healy for Christmas.
The 65-year-old Loose Women star and the 71-year-old actor – who both starred on divisive ITV comedy show Benidorm – were married in 1988 and divorced in 2012. Together, the couple welcomed two sons – one of whom is 1975 frontman and former boyfriend of Taylor Swift, Matt Healy, 34.
Denise was previously married to actor David Easter, 64, from 1985 until 1988 and has been married to current husband, artist Lincoln Townley, 50, since 2013. And it seems the TV star gathered her men and sons together to enjoy Christmas together.
Taking to Instagram on Christmas Day, Denise shared a snap of herself flanked by her sons and joined by both Lincoln and Tim at the dinner table. Everyone was wearing festive cracker hats and smiling for the camera and the image itself was captured on Christmas Eve.

Sharing the image online, Denise wrote: “The joy of having our Christmas Eve dinner cooked for us by Chef Pete and Amy from @pete__cooks . I worked with Pete’s mum Vanessa for a charity for many years and I remember when Pete was starting his private chef business. It is now several years later and it’s thriving!!! They did a beautiful meal of gnocchi canopies, turkey, rib of beef then pavlova while we chilled and then cleared everything up!!! Total bliss for me!!”
She added: “A perfect night with family and tmrw the Townleys, Welch’s and Healys get together en masse!!! Merry Christmas.”
Fans and followers were warmed to see the ITV star looking happy with her loved ones, with one commenting “This is so wholesome Aww.” Another person posted: “So much love for how close you are with your ex husband. The love remains, it’s the peopl[e] who change.” Denise later shared a snap of Lincoln and Tim together and joked they could form a band called Midlife Crisis.

While a further fan wrote: “Love so much that you and Dad are there together. It’s just lovely. Merry Christmas.” Tim played Lesley ‘Les’ Conroy on Benidorm from 2009 until 2018 – and Denise herself popped up in a season four episode playing a character named ‘Scary’ Mary.
Benidorm ran for 10 seasons over more than 10 years – with 74 episodes existing so far. Back in October, the show creator, Derren Litten, hinted that more episodes of the comedy could be created – saying he has enough material in his ming to double the number of existing episodes.
ITV Loose Women’s Linda Robson and actress Pauline Quirke have been friends for more than 50 years and have an update on hit series Birds of a Feather
Birds of a Feather stars have an update on news of a reunion on ITV.
Amid bitter fallout claims, the sitcom stars have news for followers of the popular programme originally aired on the BBC back in the 1980s and 90s. Linda Robson and Pauline Quirke, who played Tracey Stubbs and Sharon Theodopolopodous starred in 12 series together.
Despite being friends for more than 50 years, Pauline’s absence from the 2020 Birds of a Feather special didn’t go unnoticed, sparking swirling fallout rumours. Loose Women star Linda insists the pair never butted heads, but it doesn’t look like she’ll be back anytime soon.

The ITV personality has heavily teased at some exciting news for fans of Birds of a Feather. Lesley Joseph, who played Dorien Green, could well be involved in an upcoming double act. “I’m hoping to do a series with Lesley,” Linda told Woman Magazine.
“It is sort of in the pipeline now. We did Race Across Yorkshire together and the BBC were very pleased with how we interacted, so they’re trying to get something together for us, which would be really nice.” Asked for more information, she added: “A reality series doing a bucket list, or things to do before we die.”
The good news comes after Linda was forced to hit back at rumours that she died, and instead proved to fans she’s alive and kicking. Responding to the fake death hoax, the 65-year-old actress joked with fans after she shared an Instagram video of her acting as if she was dead and coming back to life, alongside creepy music.
Showing her sense of humour, the actress has joked with fans as she captioned the clip “Woke up to lots of messages and calls, apparently there has been a rumour I had passed away going around. You won’t get rid of me that easy!”
Jumping into the comments, fans have shared in the joke as one commented: “Glad it’s just a rumour!” Another added: “Glad to see you’re still alive, kicking, being brilliant and having fun! Have a great day Linda!” A third fan shared: “Aww nanny linda no , bless ya glad your all well hun xx”.
However some fans were outraged at the rumours, as one slammed the hoax: “Why do people start this rumours. disgusting.” Another agreed as they wrote: “What a disgusting rumour to start.” A third commented: “OMG that’s awful Linda, so people are so odd, nothing better to do with their time. X Sorry you have been through this, but you seem to have taken it all in your stride xxxx”.
Only last month, Linda split from her husband Mark Dunford after 33 years of marriage. Linda and Mark first met when they were teens but didn’t begin dating until years later. They tied the knot in 1990 and the former couple went on to welcome two children together; Roberta, 27, and Louis, 31.
Linda confirmed to Woman magazine she is single last month. She said of her ex-husband Mark: “He’s a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough. I’m not interested [in dating] honestly. I can’t be a***d with all that.”
The Duchess Of Sussex Meghan Markle has reportedly attempted to have a meeting scheduled with King Charles III so she can challenge him on the rules she has to follow as a former Royal
Meghan Markle reportedly “wants answers” from King Charles about use of her royal title an expert has claimed.
Royal commentator Neil Sean has made claims that both Meghan and Prince Harry “don’t understand why” they have been subjected to different rules to other members of the Royal Family despite stepping away from their official duties nearly four years ago. The couple’s bid to also become financially independent from the Royals saw them sign multimillion-dollar contracts with Netflix and Spotify.
But now according to Neil, Meghan has questions she wants the King to answer and has allegedly even tried to arrange a meeting with him to discuss key issues she has found prominent since she joined the family. Speaking on his YouTube channel he said: ” Meghan Markle wants some answers from His Majesty the King. She tried to set up a meeting with him, she sent him a letter and wanted a one to one to explain exactly the problems she’s encountered ever since becoming a member of the British monarchy.”

Meghan and Harry seemingly don’t understand why it’s a different rule for her.”
Neil’s dialogue comes after reports Meghan allegedly has plans to write a book about her life much the same as her mother-in-law Princess Diana did when she released Diana: Her True Story in Her Own Words. The novel would be expected to not only cover her glamorous life in Hollywood but also her time spent in the Royal Family and details of all of the arguments and drama.

The book is rumoured to be part of the four-book deal she and Harry signed with publishers Penguin Random House. The same deal saw Harry release his hard-hitting memoir Spare at the start of 2023. The couple are also expected to release a ‘wellness’ offering.
A Hollywood agent told The Mail on Sunday: “I would find it surprising if Meghan didn’t publish her own story, to be honest. Spare is clearly Prince Harry’s chance to tell his, but hers is equally compelling. I mean, how many actresses end up marrying a Prince? If she’s harbouring political ambitions it would make even more sense.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been scrutinised by a Royal expert who claims that they have done too much damage to ever hope to reconcile with their families
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are at the point of no return when it comes to family reconciliations an expert has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have done too much damage to ever hope for a reunion with their respective families according to Royal commentator Michael Cole. The expert discussed if there is any scope for an apology to reunite either the Royal or Markle families.
Michael revealed that he believes the only hope for building bridges could come if they both of the Sussexes apologised to their relatives for any perceived wrongdoing on their part. He said: “It is interesting to note that Meghan is not on speaking terms with any of her family apart from her mother and a niece. Nobody else in her family speaks to her and she does not speak to them.”
Harry and Meghan have ‘shown no signs’ of apologising(

While speaking to GB News, Michael also confessed to feeling the situation is much the same for Harry and his relatives, adding: “Likewise the relationship between Prince Harry and his family is hardly existing at this moment, which is not surprising considering the criticism that has been laid about the Royal Family from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex since they departed from the royal circle.”
Michael then expressed his thoughts that things have reached “rock bottom” and there doesn’t seem to be the likelihood of a change. He concluded: “It is difficult to see how those relationships are going to be mended without some apologies on the part of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. They are showing no signs of that, frankly, it is at rock bottom.”
The news comes after another Royal expert revealed that Meghan had been hoping for a stand-off with her father-in-law King Charles over the rules she and Harry have had to adhere to title-holding as members of the Royal family.

‘Woefully entitled’ Piers Morgan slams Prince Harry for giving Queen ‘massive headache’
PIERS MORGAN has hit out at Prince Harry, claiming that he seems to have “delighted” in making his grandmother, the Queen’s life “more difficult” at an already “difficult time”.
Prince Harry’s claim about why he has not returned to UK
Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has savagely branded Prince Harry a “shameless, deluded, woefully entitled hypocrite” in his latest column for The Sun. The journalist, who left his GMB presenting job in 2020 after being called out for criticisms he made against Meghan Markle, appears to be angered over Prince Harry’s request for police protection for his family when they visit the UK.
Piers, 56, is an outspoken critic of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, whom he once accused of lying about having suicidal thoughts after the actress appeared in a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
Now, Piers has claimed that the Queen’s grandson has “piped up from his Californian mansion” at the time where she needs it the least.
Piers suggested that Harry was making everything “more difficult” for his grandmother “during the most difficult times of her life”.
Piers began by saying that he took issue with Prince Harry and Meghan’s television appearances at a time when Prince Philip was “dying in hospital”.
Piers has slammed Harry in his latest column (Image: GETTY)

He went on to explain that, in the light of Prince Andrew’s current sexual abuse allegations which the Duke of York has denied, Harry was once “rubbing salt” in the Queen’s “emotional wounds”.
Harry’s threat of legal action after not being granted British police protection while in the UK, Piers argues, is causing his grandmother undue distress during another “difficult” time.
Piers said: “The petulant prince is threatening legal action – is there ever a time when he isn’t? Unless the Home Office caves and restores the royal security he enjoyed before his dramatic flounce to America.
“If he goes through with his threat, it will be the first time any royal has ever sued Her Majesty’s Government, and, of course, causes the Queen yet another massive headache at the worst possible time.”
Piers believes Harry is not deserving of this protection (Image: GETTY)

Harry’s legal representative sent in a statement outlining his reasoning, part of which Piers included in his article.
The selected paragraphs read: “The UK will always be Prince Harry’s home and a country he wants his wife and children to be safe in. With the lack of police protection, comes too great a personal risk.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex personally fund a private security team for their family, yet that security cannot replicate the necessary police protection needed whilst in the UK. In the absence of such protection, Prince Harry and his family are unable to return to his home.”
At this, Piers scoffed: “What a load of disingenuous, self-serving, elitist poppycock.
“It takes a rare kind of brass neck to want the right to trash the Royal Family whenever it suits you but also insist on enjoying the trappings of being a member of that family without performing any of the, often mundane, duties that come with those trappings.”
Piers went on to blast Harry for his “hypocritical” behaviour, including examples such as “preaching about the environment whilst using private jets” and “bleating about privacy” while giving the public insight into his family’s private life.
The journalist concluded that Harry and Meghan were “not entitled” to police protection while they are in the UK on the basis that they are “runaways who’ve deserted their duty”.
Piers did make reference to the fact that Harry had offered to pay for the security himself, but said that he should get his “own personal security team and request police help with any specific incident or threat like everyone else”.
In addition to their comments above, Prince Harry’s legal representative also explained that he “inherited a security risk at birth, for life”.
In a statement, they said: “He remains sixth in line to the throne, served two tours of combat duty in Afghanistan, and in recent years his family has been subjected to well-documented neo-Nazi and extremist threats. While his role within the Institution has changed, his profile as a member of the Royal Family has not. Nor has the threat to him and his family.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex personally fund a private security team for their family, yet that security cannot replicate the necessary police protection needed whilst in the UK. In the absence of such protection, Prince Harry and his family are unable to return to his home.
“The Duke first offered to pay personally for UK police protection for himself and his family in January of 2020 at Sandringham. That offer was dismissed. He remains willing to cover the cost of security, as not to impose on the British taxpayer. As is widely known, others who have left public office and have an inherent threat risk receive police protection at no cost to them. The goal for Prince Harry has been simple – to ensure the safety of himself and his family while in the UK so his children can know his home country. During his last visit to the UK in July – to unveil a statue in honour of his late mother – his security was compromised due to the absence of police protection, whilst leaving a charity event.
“After another attempt at negotiations was also rejected, he sought a judicial review in September 2021 to challenge the decision-making behind the security procedures, in the hopes that this could be re-evaluated for the obvious and necessary protection required.”
Kate Middleton’s Uncle Gary Slams Meghan Markle as ‘So Bad for Harry and for Our Country’
Princess Kate Middleton‘s uncle Gary Goldsmith does not like Meghan Markle, and he didn’t hold back when asked about her — even stating his belief that her marriage to Prince Harry won’t last.
“Let’s face it, Laughing Girl isn’t going to be around for ever, is she? I think she’s fickle. And I think she’s so bad for Harry and for our country,” Goldsmith told London’s The Times in a profile published on Saturday, March 23.
The outlet confirmed that “Laughing Girl” is how the Celebrity Big Brother alum refers to the Duchess of Sussex, 42, and noted that the interview took place more than a week before Kate, also 42, announced her cancer diagnosis.
While speaking about his niece, Goldsmith said he didn’t appreciate that Markle accused the royal family of making racist remarks.
“That’s why it makes me so angry about what Meghan said about Kate,” Goldsmith stated. While some have speculated that the comments came from Kate and King Charles III, Markle never actually named any royals while noting that there was a family discussion about son Archie’s skin color ahead of his May 2019 birth.
“Me and Carole [Middleton] grew up in a community as diverse as a Woolies pick’n’mix counter,” Goldsmith continued. “All the cultures you can think of. The idea that Laughing Girl says Kate is racist makes me furious. Kate knows her family’s roots and is proud of them. I’m sorry, but Laughing Girl is not good people.”

He also cited Meghan and Harry, 39, as among the reasons Kate and Prince William probably aren’t as happy now as they were 20 years ago. After citing Queen Elizabeth II‘s death and Charles’ cancer battle as stressors, Goldsmith went on to blame Prince Andrew (who has resigned from all public roles following his sexual assault scandal) and Harry for William and Kate’s unhappiness.
“Then they’ve also got this bloody uncle that no one would want, because the arrogance and naivety of Andrew is just beyond me,” Goldsmith said of Andrew, 64. “I’ve been in the same room as him and, believe me, that was enough. I’ve got more chance of making it onto the Palace balcony than he has. And then you’ve got Harry. F–k me!”
He continued: “He and that woman are chasing the American corporate dollar and that is so, so ugly. William, Harry and Kate were such a happy little trio and it got totally ruined. With all that going on — and there is other stuff going on that is not in the public domain — are they at their absolute happiest? No. Their kids bring them a lot of joy, but no.”
Still, Goldsmith expects Harry will eventually be welcomed back into the family with a simple apology, and that’s when he mentioned that he expects the prince to be single again at some point.
“No, I don’t have insider knowledge but my sense is the fam will never turn their back on Harry fully,” he shared. “He’s naive to think he can throw his family under the bus and still get invited for Christmas at Sandringham. I mean, how stupid can you be? Harry wouldn’t even make my pub quiz team, but he was loved by us all and he had the best job in the world. He had all the privilege but with diminished duties. He had the house, the money, the polo and could choose his royal patronages, with everyone accepting he was a bit fruit bat with the whole prince thing. I think he’ll be back but only if he says sorry. He upset his nan and that is unforgivable. But let’s face it, Laughing Girl isn’t going to be around for ever, is she? I think she’s fickle. And I think she’s so bad for Harry and for our country.”
Harry and Meghan, who married in 2018, share children Archie, 4, and Lili, 2. Though they are estranged from William and Kate, both reportedly reached out privately after Kate announced on Friday that she is undergoing “preventative chemotherapy” after her cancer diagnosis. They also shared a public statement of support.
“We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace,” Harry and Meghan said in a statement to Us Weekly.
‘Vicious liar’: Lady C slams Meghan Markle as judge delays defamation suit judgement
The court of public opinion can now view Meghan Markle as a manipulative “vicious liar,” regardless of the outcome of Samantha Markle’s defamation suit against her, Royal author Lady Colin Campbell says.
Lady C made the remarks during a recent interview with GB News host Dan Wootton.
Meghan Markle Wins Defamation Case Brought by Her Half-Sister
After two years of hearings and filings, a federal judge handed Meghan Markle a decisive victory in the defamation case her half-sister filed against the Duchess of Sussex in 2022. The judge dismissed Samantha Markle’s lawsuit with prejudice, meaning she cannot refile the case.
Samantha had alleged in the suit that Meghan lied about her relationship with her half-sister and their father, Thomas Markle, on several occasions. She pointed specifically to the tell-all interview Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, did with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, as well as the 2022 Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan. Meghan says in both projects that she grew up as an only child and that she wasn’t close to her father or half-sister.
Samantha had asked the court for $75,000 in damages because she felt Meghan’s statements implied that she was a “deceptive fame-seeking imposter with avaricious intentions,” according to Time. But U.S. District Judge Charlene Honeywell ultimately disagreed, saying Samantha “failed to identify any statements that could support a claim for defamation or defamation-by-implication,” in either the documentary or the Winfrey interview.
In 2021, on the heels of the publication of Samantha’s book, The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister — which she described as a “tell-all” about Meghan — Winfrey asked the duchess about her relationship with her sister. “I think it would be very hard to ‘tell all’ when you don’t know me,” Meghan responded. “I don’t feel comfortable talking about people that I really don’t know.” Samantha claimed in her lawsuit that this comment was an attack on “the veracity” of her book, alleging that it affected sales.
According to People, Samantha also took issue with a chapter in the book Finding Freedom, written by royals reporters Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, titled “A Problem Like Samantha.” But the judge decided last year that Meghan couldn’t “be held liable for statements in a book that she did not publish” and dismissed the case, though Samantha refiled the lawsuit in November.
In Tuesday’s ruling, the judge concluded that what Samantha had a problem with were Meghan’s opinions and insinuations, not any statements of fact. In a statement to the New York Times, Michael J. Kump, a lawyer for Meghan, said he and Meghan were “pleased with the court’s ruling dismissing the case.” Meanwhile, Samantha’s lawyer said the ruling was “very upsetting” and she plans to appeal. “Don’t count us out,” he wrote in an email, “just delayed.”
Piers Morgan Says His Sons Received Threats Over His Meghan Markle Comments
Piers Morgan revealed how the backlash over his criticism of Meghan Markle affected his children, responded to accusations of racism and commented on Sharon Osbourne’s exit from The Talk.
Piers Morgan says his sons were harassed online and even received threats of violence from Twitter trolls amid his comments about Meghan Markle, who he criticized most recently following her and Prince Harry‘s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Piers, a longtime critic of the couple and supporter of Queen Elizabeth II, recently left his job as co-host of Good Morning Britain following a backlash over his recent remarks about the Duchess of Sussex, who made shocking accusations against the monarchy in the CBS tell-all special that aired last month.
“I’ve always subscribed to the ‘if you dish it out, you’ve got to take it’ philosophy,’” Piers, who works as DailyMail.com’s Editor-at-Large, wrote in a Mail on Sunday column on Sunday, March 28. “But my three sons told me they too are all being targeted, and sent me screenshots of venomous abuse and threats of violence towards them, which made my stomach churn, especially as police are already investigating a death threat made to me and my eldest boy Spencer last month.”
Piers, who has three adult sons and a 9-year-old daughter, continued, “None of them even care about Meghan Markle, let alone agree with my views on her. Yet the Twitter troll mob has found them guilty by association. One troll vowed to murder me in front of them, and added: ‘When your dad dies, the world will have a party.’”
On the CBS special with Oprah, Meghan revealed she felt suicidal while living as a royal and claimed the monarchy rejected her pleas for mental health treatment. She also said someone in the royal household raised “concerns” about the color of their then-unborn first baby’s skin. Piers later said on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, “I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she says, Meghan Markle.”
Following an on-air debate, he walked off the set, then returned and said, “It’s not for me to question if she felt suicidal, I am not in her mind and that is for her to say. My real concern was a disbelief, frankly…that she went to a senior member of the royal household and told them she was suicidal and was told she could not have any help because it would be a bad look for the family.” A day later, following tens of thousands of complaints, including from Meghan herself, ITV announced Piers was leaving Good Morning Britain.
Meanwhile, supporters of the duchess have continued to accuse Piers and other vocal critics of racism, which he has denied.
“I was trending…with people saying I was ‘racist’ and ‘mocking mental illness’ by disbelieving Meghan’s claims, and demanding I be fired,” he wrote in his column. “It didn’t matter that I’ve never said anything racist about her or that my only comments about her race have been to repeatedly say how great it was that a bi-racial woman married into the Royal Family. No, it appears that questioning Meghan’s fork-tongued ‘truth’ is now a racist hate crime.”
Shutterstock, Ken McKay/ITV/Shutterstock
On Good Morning Britain, he and co-host Alex Beresford debated about Meghan and Harry’s interview before the latter brought up Piers’ personal past correspondence with Meghan—he has claimed she ghosted him before she met Harry, prompting him to storm off the set. The duchess told Oprah, “In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time—so we have in tandem the conversation of ‘He won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”
On Good Morning Britain, Piers told Alex that the duchess’ on-air comments spurred people to look “upon the palace, the monarchy, the queen, everyone in the royal family, as a bunch of racists.”
“Is there a difference if it was said, perhaps in all innocence, and they just said, ‘What color baby might you have?’ without any suggestion of it being a concern or a worry if it had darker skin?” Piers questioned. “Would that in itself, would just the question be racist?”
Piers wrote in his column that Alex “insisted that even if Meghan’s claim about Archie being barred from Princehood because of his skin colour is untrue, it’s still her ‘lived experience’ so should be respected.”
“But that’s ridiculous; you can’t have a ‘lived experience’ of racism when the fact you’re basing it on is false,” Piers continued. “Or rather, you can, but it’s not a real one and nobody should be compelled to believe it. Sadly, this is where we’ve now arrived in society: the truth can be whatever someone decides it is, so Meghan Markle must be believed because it’s ‘her truth.’ And if you don’t believe her, you’re a racist.”
Piers’ longtime friend and former America’s Got Talent co-judge Sharon Osbourne recently departed her role of co-host on The Talk following a heated on-air debate of his recent criticism of Meghan, during which she defended him and said he was not racist. Her exit from the show also came amid recent claims that she made racist and homophobic comments against her past co-hosts. Sharon claims she was “blindsided” by CBS with the Piers questions and her rep called the accusations of her remarks about her co-stars “lies.”
“Sharon Osbourne’s quit The Talk, driven out for the crime of defending me, a friend she knows isn’t racist, from a co-worker saying I’m racist simply because I disbelieve Meghan Markle,” Piers wrote in his column. “It’s outrageous, but what’s happened to Sharon and me in the past fortnight isn’t really about Ms Markle. She’s just one of many whiny, privileged, hypocritical celebrities who now cynically exploit victimhood to suppress free speech, value their own version of the truth above the actual truth, and seek to cancel anyone that deviates from their woke world view or who dares to challenge the veracity of their inflammatory statements.”
He added, “No, it’s about a far bigger issue than one delusional Duchess, and that’s everyone’s right to be free to express our honestly held opinions, forcefully and passionately if we feel like it.”
Meghan Markle takes aim at British media: They call ‘my children the N-word’
Meghan Markle says she hated having to share family photos with the same British media outlets whose readers called her “children the N-word.”
When she was an active member of the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex was expected to give pictures of her now-3-year-old son, Archie, to the Royal Rota, the press pool that covers Queen Elizabeth II and her line of succession.
“There’s literally a structure,” Markle, 41, explained in a wide-ranging The Cut cover story, published Monday.
“Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child?” the “Suits” alum, who is biracial, asked.

“You tell me how that makes sense and then I’ll play that game.”
Markle noted that she and Prince Harry did not have control of the @KensingtonRoyal Instagram account they initially shared with Prince William and Kate Middleton.
When the couple broke off to make their own social media handle, @sussexroyal, they chose not to play the “exchange game.”

Instead, Markle and the prince, 37, posted photos without first giving them to the Royal Rota.
The pair shut down their account when they stepped back from their royal roles, which they officially quit in February 2021, but Markle teased her upcoming Instagram return in the interview with the New York magazine offshoot.
The “Deal or No Deal” alum, who is also the mother of 1-year-old daughter Lilibet, has previously addressed the racist media coverage that drove her and her husband from the royal family — and off social media.

The bullying was “almost unsurvivable,” Markle told Oprah Winfrey in her bombshell CBS interview last year, revealing that she experienced suicidal thoughts.
“I was really ashamed to have to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry especially, but I knew that if I didn’t say that I would do it,” the “Archetypes” podcast host explained in March 2021. “I just didn’t want to be alive anymore.”

Markle also told Winfrey, 68, that there were “concerns and conversations” within the family about the color of her son’s skin ahead of his arrival.
“At the time it was awkward, I was a bit shocked,” Harry chimed in, noting that he was “never going to share” who spoke to them about Archie’s complexion.
“That was right at the beginning,” the redheaded royal continued.
In November 2021, a source told author Christopher Andersen for his book “Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan” that it was Prince Charles who mused to his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, about “what the children will look like.”
A spokesperson for the Prince of Wales, however, told The Post at the time that the report was “fiction and not worth further comment.”
How dare she! Megyn Kelly slams Meghan Markle for calling Prince Harry her husband: ‘We get it’

Megyn Kelly has another bone to pick with Meghan Markle and this time it’s because she has an issue with the fact she refers to Prince Harry as ‘her husband’.
On the latest episode of her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, the American media commentator slammed Markle and said she’d had enough.
‘We get it, you bagged the gorilla,’ she said on Tuesday’s episode.
‘Congratulations, you got the big bear, [and] you want us all to know.’
The comments were in response to the latest episode of Markle’s own podcast, Archetypes, when she said that her husband was ‘great’ with contributing equally to parenting.
‘Oh, my husband? Oh, he’s great,’ she said.
‘[He] gets [Archie] downstairs’, while she added she would make breakfast for the family.
‘It’s very important to me. I love doing it.’
With Christopher Anderson, author of The King: The Life of Charles III, Kelly’s guest on the program, the pair also discussed claims made in the Oprah interview, including a part where Markle said she never looked up the Royal family prior to her relationship.

‘For my age, it was JFK Jr., for her age it was Prince Harry.’

Kelly also criticised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for ‘ripping on the Royals to whom they owe, literally, all of their fame and most of their fortune.’
The comments come as the world waits to see the contents of Harry’s memoir, Spare, which will now be released on January 10 after being delayed due to the Queen’s passing.
The 416-page book has been billed by publisher Penguin Random House as a work of ‘raw, unflinching honesty’.

Harry has previously called the book a ‘truthful and wholly accurate’ portrait of his life – the prospect of which has sent shockwaves through the royal establishment.
