Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been branded as “ruthless” as they “ignore royal protocol”, by a royal commentator.

According to Richard Fitzwilliams, who recently spoke exclusively to The Mirror, “the Sussexes were always ruthless in disregarding events in the diaries of other members of the royal family, ignoring protocol which was they didn’t clash”.

He added: “An example was the release of a trailer for their Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan which coincided with the Cambridge’s trip to the United States for the Earthshot Prize in 2022.” With his comments coming after Meghan’s new brand, American Riviera Orchard, seemingly unveiled two new products on the day of Trooping the Colour over the weekend.

Saturday marked Trooping the Colour, which is an important annual event where the Royal Family came together to mark The King’s official birthday with the Birthday Parade. And on the morning of Trooping the Colour, which also marked Princess Kate’s first public appearance since starting cancer treatment, some new American Riviera Orchard products emerged online.

Harry’s pal since 2007, Nacho Figueras, who is a polo player, took to social media mere hours before Trooping the Colour took place on Saturday to share that he had been sent some American Riveria Orchard produce. The polo player displayed a jar of raspberry jam and a jar of dog biscuits.

Mr Fitzwilliams commented on this move further when he added: “Apparently two more products, raspberry jam and dog biscuits, have just been launched. To do this on the same day as Trooping the Colour shows a very naive approach to marketing as they know journalists keep an eye on what they do.”

He added: “Nacho Figueras, Harry’s polo-playing friend, posted that he’d received jam and dog biscuits and posted photos. Whereas cynics might say the raspberry sums up the Sussexes destructive attitude to the royal family rather well, on the jar it said two of two. If she wants her brand to succeed, Meghan better be more adventurous than this!”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle slammed for ‘hypocrisy’ over King Charles amid feud

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been slammed for their behaviour as one expert brands them hypocrites over their ongoing family feud amind King Charles’ ‘desperation’ to see grandchildren

    Harry and Meghan

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been slammed for their ‘hypocrisy’ (

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have proven themselves to be hypocrites an expert has said.

The pair have come under fire after reports that King Charles III is keen to spend more time with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in a bid to get to know them better. Now they have been branded hypocritical for marketing themselves as “lovers” of people and advocating “spreading kindness” when they continue to feud with their own families.

The damning statement came from Royal expert Michael Cole as he expressed his sadness for the King that he doesn’t know his grandchildren. He also stressed that now is the time for the monarch to get closer to Harry’s kids – especially with his ongoing cancer battle.

Talking to GB News Michael said: “It’s very hard for the king not to see his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. He’s only seen Prince Archie a handful of times and Princess Lilibet only once. The King obviously he’s had a tap on the shoulder, he’s got cancer and he realises his time is short.”

Michael then elaborated further as he said the urgency for Charles to get to be with the children now. He said: “He desperately wants to know his grandchildren and it’s very important that they should get to know him because the children in California are a prince and princess of Royal blood. They’re growing up. If their whole existence is going to be in California once they go to school they’ll be completely centered there, they’ll miss out quite a lot, and I think Prince Harry is perhaps aware of this because there are stories that he wants to get a house back in this country.”

Michael then gave his damning verdict on Harry and Meghan as he slammed them for their hypocrisy when it comes to their own lives compared to what they urge upon others. He concluded: “Not only do those children not know their grandfather, the King, they don’t know her father, Thomas Markle. She is not on speaking terms with her father.

“She is not on speaking terms with most of her family apart from her mother Doria and I think one niece apart from that she has no contact with them and yet these two are always going on about their love of the people the love of the world spreading health and harmony and kindness and truth and yet they cannot extend it to their own family particularly at a time when it would be most welcome, the King himself having his cancer diagnosis and doing what he does, brilliantly well.”

Furious Thomas Markle slams Meghan and Prince Harry for ‘insulting’ the Queen and Brits over royal brand row

FUMING Thomas Markle has slammed Meghan and Harry for “insulting” the Queen over their Sussex Royal brand row.

The dad hit out at his daughter in a furious outburst after she and Harry were forced to confirm they would not use the word Royal after quitting the Firm.

Speaking to TMZ from near his home in Mexico, Markle blasted: “I’m very upset with Harry and Meghan right now.

“[They] don’t have a right to speak to the Queen the way they’ve spoken to her. I think it’s an insult to the Queen and the British people.”

Markle, who has repeatedly slammed the couple after being shunned from their wedding in 2018, went on to say Meghan and “dumped” him and is now “dumping the royal family”.

It comes after he warned he will keep cashing in on the Megxit row as he begged Meghan to contact him.

    ROYAL ROW

The royal row erupted last week when the couple were forced to ditch their Sussex Royal brand when the Queen hired top lawyers to ban it.

Pals said that Meghan believed there was no legal comeback for the Queen if they continued to use the term after quitting on March 31.

But her and Harry later released a lengthy statement on their website on Friday night where they confirmed they would not be using the word “royal”.

The couple also appeared to throw a perceived dig at being treated differently from other working royals, including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

And the bombshell statement pointed out that while no longer able to use the word royal, Prince Harry would remain sixth-in-line to the throne.

    RETURN TO UK

Harry and Meghan are due to return to the UK to complete their last royal engagements before their March 31 deadline.

The first return to royal duties for Meghan will be on March 5, with the couple heading to the Endeavour Fund awards in London.

As part of the busy six engagements in 11 days, Harry, 35, is expected to attend the opening of the Silverstone Experience – a Brit motor racing museum – with F1 legend Lewis Hamilton on March 6.

And the next day, he will be joined by wife Meghan, 38, for the Mountbatten Festival of Music at Royal Albert Hall.

Meghan is then set to enjoy a solo outing on March 8 when the former actress will mark International Women’s Day, however details of the event are yet to be announced.

And the couple’s final engagement on March 9 will see them join the Royal Family, including the Queen, for the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey.

It comes after Harry and Meghan axed their 15 UK staff, in their surest sign they will never return to Britain to live.

The couple, who are currently living in an £8million mansion on Vancouver Island, have been allowed to keep their HRH titles but have been forced to accept that they will not use them publicly as they tout for business around the globe.

Under the terms of the Mexit deal, they have agreed to repay the £2.4million of taxpayers’ money used to refurbish their Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor.

Harry and Meghan must also pay a commercial rent for the home of around £30,000 a month.

  • Duchess Sophie took out her anger on Meghan as she dragged her into the finale of the royal battle

Duchess Sophie took out her anger on Meghan as she dragged her into the finale of the royal battle

The video from the Princess Diana news channel delves into the complex and controversial dynamics within the British royal family, focusing on the alleged conflicts between Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and Duchess Sophie of Edinburgh.

The video’s host criticizes Meghan and Harry for their claims, specifically targeting the portrayal of Duchess Sophie in Omid Scobie’s book, “Endgame.”

Key points from the video include:

Allegations Against Meghan and Harry: The video accuses Meghan Markle and Prince Harry of spreading falsehoods and manipulating narratives to portray themselves as victims, particularly in relation to Duchess Sophie.

Defense of Duchess Sophie: The host defends Duchess Sophie, emphasizing her efforts to support Meghan during her early days in the royal family.

The video describes how Sophie extended invitations and guidance to Meghan, which were allegedly not reciprocated.

Sophie’s Reaction to Oprah Interview: The video addresses Scobie’s depiction of Sophie’s response to the infamous Oprah Winfrey interview.

It portrays Sophie’s comment about not needing to recognize Oprah if one doesn’t watch talk shows as straightforward, contrasting it with the scandalous interpretation presented in “Endgame.”

Racial Allegations: The video also touches on the sensitive issue of alleged racial comments about Meghan and Harry’s son, Archie.

It criticizes the couple for not naming the individuals involved and for inconsistencies in their narrative, especially following revelations in the Dutch version of “Endgame.”

General Critique of Meghan and Harry: The overall tone of the video is highly critical of Meghan and Harry, accusing them of deceit and manipulation.

The host asserts that their narrative is unraveling and that the truth will ultimately prevail, defending Duchess Sophie’s reputation in the process.

The video encourages viewers to question the narratives presented by Meghan and Harry and to seek the truth behind the accusations and counter-accusations that have embroiled the royal family in controversy.

Prince Harry ‘humiliated three times’ in weeks with friends saying ‘trust is broken’

Prince Harry has had a trio of “royal humiliations” over the past few weeks which culminated in Trooping the Colour last weekend, according to a royal biographer

Prince Harry has faced three humiliations in just a few weeks as tempers continue to flare amongst the Royal Family, a royal biographer has claimed.

On his visit to the UK last month, Harry was unable to meet with his father King Charles as the monarch couldn’t fit him into his schedule.

According to Emily Andrews, Harry also wasn’t invited to Trooping the Colour and was “uninvited” to the Duke of Westminster’s “wedding of the year” earlier this month.

The royal biographer wrote in Woman magazine: “It has been humiliation after humiliation for Prince Harry.”

She added: “Harry has broken so many bonds of trust with so many people, it is difficult to see him ever attending a society wedding or Trooping the Colour again.”

In a further insult, his rejection occurred despite the Duke, Hugh Grosvenor, 33, being a close friend of Harry’s and a godfather to his son, Archie.

It has been a major series of blows that highlight just how much the prince has been given the cold shoulder by his family and friends, according to Emily.

Harry revealed earlier this year that he wanted to see his family more and spend more time in the UK, but upon arrival last month, he issued a statement saying he wouldn’t be meeting up with his father.

He said this was because the King’s “full programme” meant he was too busy. Emily claimed he also couldn’t meet the Prince or Princess of Wales, as they are “still understandably too hurt” to speak to him.

In a repeat of last year, both Harry and his wife, Meghan, were absent from Trooping the Colour.

And Emily said it was simply “too awkward” for Harry to be in attendance at the Duke of Westminster’s wedding to Olivia Henson, 31, at Chester Cathedral this month.

She claimed it was deemed too “difficult” to allow Harry to attend due to the “frosty feud” between him and William, who said they didn’t want anything “overshadowing” the day.

Emily said this awkwardness extends to most of Harry’s family and friends, as many are concerned they could appear in a future book or Netflix series produced by the prince.

In a surprising turn of events, Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow has seemingly chosen sides in the ongoing Royal Family feud by publicly showing her support for Kate Middleton. This unexpected move comes amidst mounting tension between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family.

During the recent Trooping the Colour ceremony, millions watched as the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, made her triumphant return to the public eye. Among the many comments and reactions to her appearance, Gwyneth Paltrow’s stood out. The Iron Man actress commented on an official Instagram photo of Kate, saying, “So happy to see you looking so happy and well.”

    Video thumbnail

This gesture from Paltrow, known for her Goop brand, has sparked speculation that she is taking sides in the royal family rift. Royal author Phil Dampier noted, “Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest celebrity who seems to be taking sides in the Wales v Sussex standoff.”

Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, is said to have based her new lifestyle project American Riviera Orchard on the actress’s own products “and she admires her greatly so this will hurt,” said Dampier“Gwyneth didn’t have to make any comment about Kate being at Trooping the Colour but the fact she has means she fully supports her,” the author speculated.

Paltrow has distanced herself from the Sussexes

Previously, Paltrow was seen getting close to Meghan and Harry, having been spotted with them at a Michelin-star sushi restaurant in Montecito in May 2023. However, according to Closer Magazine, this relationship has since cooled off, with Meghan being notably excluded from an intimate Goop dinner held at Paltrow’s Montecito home last month.

This shift aligns Paltrow with other celebrities who have distanced themselves from the Sussexes, including David Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, and Katy Perry.

Dampier added, “They have realized that William and Kate are the true superstars and future of the monarchy. Yes, the royals have their ups and downs, but they survive by adapting and because the public respects the institution, although not always the individuals.”

Kate has continued working from home

Middleton’s appearance at the Trooping the Colour ceremony was particularly significant as it was her first public engagement since Christmas, amid her ongoing preventative cancer treatment. She appeared radiant as she rode in a carriage with her three children and stood on the Buckingham Palace balcony with Prince William, King Charles, and Queen Camilla.

Despite her health struggles, Kate has continued to work from home and plans to attend more public engagements over the summer. Kensington Palace has confirmed that she will hold meetings with palace staff and members of the Royal Foundation and Centre for Early Childhood, which will be documented in the Court Circular.

As the royal family drama continues to unfold, Paltrow’s public support for Kate Middleton adds another layer to the complex relationships and alliances within the world of British royalty.

Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith shared interesting details about Princess Kate’s value in the royal family.

Goldsmith, who entered the Celebrity Big Brother house on Monday night, said it is “difficult to get hold of Kate at the best of times”.

Princess Kate’s mom’s brother lavished praise on her niece while highlighting the future Queen’s nature and her devotion and steadfastness with her husband Prince William and the royal family in crisis.

Former X Factor judge Louis Walsh, in scenes that will air on Tuesday’s episode, asks him if it is difficult for him to be related to famous people.

The businessman replies: “I didn’t vote for it, it happened to me, and then suddenly there’s a spotlight on you.

“They call me the buncle! Have you heard of a buncle? Bad uncle, apparently every family has them.”

He continues: “It’s difficult to get hold of Kate at the best of times, and she’s got children and I love the fact that she’s putting family first.”

Describing Kate and William’s future with the Firm, Goldsmith said he believes the prince and princess of Wales will be “the saviour of the royal family”.

The discussion then turned to the Duchess of Sussex, but Kate’s uncle verdict on the Duchess has not been revealed.

Meghan Markle’s ‘clear message she didn’t need Duchess Sophie’s help as mentor’

According to a book, the late Queen was keen to get Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, to act as a mentor to Meghan Markle and show her the ropes of royal life when she married Prince Harry – but it claims Meghan thought she didn’t need Sophie’s help

She’s often regarded as the Royal Family’s secret weapon and a safe pair of hands when it comes to representing the monarchy.

But it seems it wasn’t always as easy for Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, to naviage public life. In fact, the wife of the late Queen’s youngest son Prince Edward, previously spoke out about how it “took her a while to find her feet” after transitioning from having a successful career in PR to a full-time royal. But now many years on Sophie, who is celebrating her 59th birthday today, appears to be one of the most popular out of all of the senior working royals.

So when it was announced that actress Meghan Markle would be marrying Sophie’s nephew Prince Harry, it seemed natural that the late Queen suggested the Duchess could mentor the royal newcomer. However, according to a book, Meghan “made it clear” she didn’t need Sophie’s help and would instead rely on her new husband.

The Duchess of Sussex quit her acting career upon marrying Harry in 2018 and pledged to “hit the ground running” on becoming a working royal. But author and friend of the royals Gyles Brandreth in his book, Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait, he writes: “The Queen (who, of course, had seen it all before) understood that Harry’s girl might find adjusting to Royal life ‘challenging to begin with’ (as she put it). ‘It is very jolty, but you soon get used to it’ ? that was Her Majesty’s experience going back many years.

“To help Meghan, the Queen suggested that her daughter-in-law, Sophie Wessex, would be an ideal mentor. ‘Sophie can help show you the ropes,’ said the Queen. “Meghan made it clear that she did not feel she needed Sophie’s help. She had Harry.”

Meghan and Sophie’s bond came under focus in September when they travelled together in the same car during the Queen’s state funeral and her coffin procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall in 2022. Sophie, who grew up in a middle-class family and founded a PR firm before joining the Royal Family, has been compared with Meghan – as they both underwent a huge transition upon joining the family.

The former monarch also invited Sophie to several church services together and they enjoyed watching old movies together. Her late Majesty was also extremely close to Sophie’s children, her youngest grandchildren – Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount James.

According to The Times, Sophie was the first member of the royal family to visit the Sussexes following the birth of Archie in 2019, going to the couple’s Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. In a rare interview with The Sunday Times, Sophie compared her experiences to Meghan’s.

Speaking to the paper, she compared Meghan and Harry’s experience to hers with Edward, she commented: “Remember I’d had five years to adjust [to royal life]. And for our six-month engagement, I was even staying at Buckingham Palace. Not that you necessarily know how it will pan out.”

Speaking about the Sussexes exit from the firm, she added: “I just hope they will be happy.? But possibly more pointedly, she said that the royal family do all they can to try to assist new members to adjust to the royal life, adding: “We all try to help any new members of the family?

King Charles’ chilling words that stuck in Harry’s mind after mum Diana’s death

Prince Harry admitted a sentence stuck in his head like darts in a board as his dad, King Charles, told him Princess Diana had been involved in a fatal crash in August 1997

Prince Harry revealed the heartbreaking moment he found out his mum, Princess Diana, had died.

Aged just 12, Harry was told be his father, King Charles, of the fatal crash that killed the Princess of Wales on August 31, 1997. While he explained he initially thought his mother would be okay, Harry admitted there were telling phrases used by his dad at the time that have stuck in his mind “like darts in a board”.

Writing in his memoir, Spare, Harry told how his dad sat on the edge of his bed and put his hand on his knee to break the tragic news to his youngest son. Harry told how his dad “looked at me in a funny way, a way he’d never looked at me before” when he told him the devastating news of his mother’s death.

While Charles told the Duke of the crash, Harry said he still believed his mother would be okay and patiently waited for his dad to confirm that would be the case. Explaining his thought pattern, Harry wrote: “She’s been taken to hospital, they’ll fix her head, and we’ll go and see her. Today. Tonight at the latest.”

However, he soon realised that wasn’t the case and that his mum had passed. Sharing the phrases that followed, Harry said his dad then said: “They tried, darling boy. I’m afraid she didn’t make it.”

It’s these phrases Harry so vividly remembers and explained brought everything to a stop. “None of what I said to him then remains in my memory,” Harry continued. “It’s possible that I didn’t say anything. What I do remember with startling clarity is that I didn’t cry. Not one tear.”

He later revealed the gift he was given shortly after his mother’s death. He revealed his aunt Sarah gave him a tiny blue box. In it, was a lock of his mother’s hair. Harry said Sarah had explained how she had clipped two locks from Diana’s head while in Paris.

Sweet secrets behind Prince Edward and Sophie’s trailblazing marriage that survived the odds

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are celebrating their landmark silver wedding anniversary and to mark the occasion, we are taking a closer look at their marriage secrets

When Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones walked down the aisle in St George’s Chapel in 1999, onlookers could have been forgiven for being sceptical about whether their marriage would last.

At the time, the Queen’s other three children had all seen their own marriages end in divorces – Prince Charles and Princess Diana, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips.

But Edward and Sophie would go on to defy the odds. This week, the couple celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary – an impressive milestone by anyone’s standards. To mark the happy occasion, we take a closer look at their long-term romance and how they have managed to remain closer than ever

Sophie, then called Sophie Rhys-Jones, first met the Queen’s youngest son at Capital Radio in 1987 – although at the time, the Prince was going out with her friend.

They bumped into each other again in 1993 at a charity event. Sophie was working as a public relations executive, and co-owned the firm RJH Public Relations with her business partner Murray Harkin.

After years of dating, they announced their engagement in January 1999, with Sophie giving fans a glimpse of her stunning Asprey and Garrard white gold ring. And on 19 June 1999 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, the happy couple finally tied the knot.

They went on to welcome two children, James, now Earl of Wessex, who is currently undertaking his GCSEs and Lady Louise, an English literature student at St Andrews University.

They are a very close-knit and low-key family. And friends have told the Daily Mail that it is the careful balancing of their positions as full-time working royals with a strong sense of duty, together with their life as partners and parents, that is the secret to their success.

“They are a real team,” one life-long friend of the couple told the publication. “There’s an equilibrium in the relationship, neither one is jealous of the other. In fact they take great pride in the other’s achievements. When Sophie undertook a 450-mile cycling challenge a few years ago from Edinburgh to London there was no one prouder than the prince, I can tell you.”

Their devotion was evident earlier this year when Sophie paid a loving tribute to her husband in honour of his 60th birthday.

Leaving Edward looking deeply emotional, Sophie described the Prince as “the best of fathers and the most loving of husbands and still is my best friend”. She sweetly added: “I am so proud of the man he is.”

For Edward’s part, in an exclusive interview with Rebecca English to mark his landmark birthday, he notably “came alive” as he discussed his wife.

“Well, you need a really good supportive network in this and family is incredibly important. I am just very, very lucky that Sophie is a brilliant, brilliant person in her own right,’ he told the journalist, who reported that he was “smiling from ear to ear” at the time.

The couple share a number of interests, from skiing to walking their dogs together and enjoying low-key “bucket and spade” holidays with their family in the Isles of Scilly.

But above all else, they laugh a lot. “There is always something for them to giggle about,” a friend revealed.

In recent years, Edward and Sophie’s star has been on the rise. They have taken on more public duties with onlookers praising them for their no-fuss, down-to-earth appearances. They are also seen as a safe pair of hands, having quietly devoted much of their married life to the royal family without fuss or fanfare.

Unsurprisingly, they are said to be ‘role models’ for Prince William and Princess Kate, who are said to admire the way the couple have raised their children away from the public eye. Sophie has previously spoken about wanting Louise and James to lead as normal lives as possible (Louise famously worked in a garden centre in her holidays) – including not using their royal titles.

In an interview with The Sunday Times in 2020, the mum-of-two said: “We try to bring them up with the understanding they are very likely to have to work for a living. Hence we made the decision not to use HRH titles. They have them and can decide to use them from 18, but I think it’s highly unlikely.”
