But Netflix, who were set to stream the fight, confirmed it has been axed after Tyson suffered a medical emergency earlier this week.

Iron Mike was on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles when he felt nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up.

Paramedics rushed to the plane before it was later confirmed he was feeling “very good”.

However, his fight against Paul has been postponed because of doctor’s advice.

Both suggested the fight will be back on at a later date.

With Tyson out of the ring, the internet star nicknamed Problem Child is on the lookout for a new opponent.

And his older brother Logan cheekily tweeted: “So Mike Tyson’s out? I’ll step in and we can settle this once and for all.”

Jake hit back: “Mom doesn’t want me to KO you but f*** it. Loser has to change their last name.”

Fans were excited by the Paul or nothing possibility, with one saying: “I would rather this over Mike Tyson to be honest.”

Another added: “This is low-key the grand finale of what YouTube boxing has become.”
Fans say ‘I’ll actually buy the PPV now’ as Mike Tyson’s replacement for Jake Paul fight ‘confirmed’
A third commented: “This just makes sense for Netflix.”

Jake’s fight with Tyson was controversially sanctioned by the authorities as a professional bout.

He had the chance to improve his 9-1 record, with his only loss coming at the hands of Tommy Fury in February last year.

As for Logan, he has only ever had two pro fights – a win over Dillon Danis and a loss to KSI.

He did also get in the ring with legend Floyd Mayweather for an exhibition match back in 2021.

But Logan is a professional wrestler contracted to WWE.

Despite anticipation for an all-Paul clash, UFC cult hero Chael Sonnen claims he is the replacement for Tyson.

Controversial boxer Ryan Garcia also said he would “sub in” to fight Jake.

Garcia is currently embroiled in a drugs scandal for a positive test taken after his win over Devin Haney which could now be overturned.

Former super-middleweight champion Sakio Bika says he is also on standby for Jake, revealing: “If Jake Paul is serious about fighting a former champion, look for someone a lot younger or active within the last decade.

“I can fight Jake Paul at any weight he wants.”

However the bout was postponed until later this year after Tyson suffered an ulcer flare up and took ill on a flight from Miami to LA this week.

So Paul has called on KSI to take Tyson’s place.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer taunted his long-term rival, claiming he weighs enough to take him on after Paul bulked up to heavyweight level.

Paul called out KSI on X, saying: “KSI’s coach saying he is over 200lbs right now? So no weight excuses…

“Let’s run it for July 20th and then Paul Tyson in October/November.”

In a separate tweet, Paul said: “I just gave KSI and his forehead the opportunity again for July. He said he’s fighting in August. Cool.

“I’m fighting in October/November. February it is, 200 lbs, MSG, NYC. Get it done @MostVpromotions.”

Paul and KSI are long-term rivals and have been tipped to fight since both lost to Tommy Fury in the ring.

And Paul believes his potential opponent is suited to a heavyweight clash after KSI underwent a huge body transformation of his own.

KSI’s coach Alexis Demetriades revealed the Brit has put on more than a stone and now weighs 200lb (14st 2lb).

The highest KSI has fought is 193lb when he beat his Prime business partner Logan Paul in their 2019 rematch.

While Paul has fought at the 200lb cruiserweight limit for his last two fights, and claimed to be at 230lb ahead of his fight with Tyson.

    Paul and Tyson.

Mike Tyson‘s former trainer Jeff Fenech believes that Mike Tyson will knock out Jake Paul within two rounds. However, Fenech emphasizes that the upcoming bout is significant beyond just the knockout.

The match is set for eight rounds of two minutes each, unlike the typical three-minute rounds in men’s professional boxing. The fighters will use 14-ounce gloves instead of the usual 10-ounce ones, providing more padding and reducing punch impact.

    Fenech’s prediction

Despite this, Fenech is confident that Tyson‘s power will be too much for Paul to handle, even at 58 years old.

“I have no doubt if Mike takes it easy and doesn’t try to punch at the same time, if he makes Jake Paul miss, Mike will knock him out in a couple of rounds. One-hundred per cent,” Fenech told Wide World of Sports.

“I spoke to Mike and I told him what I felt. Hopefully he’ll listen to me. We said the same thing anyway. If he does what he said then I have no doubt he will knock him out. He’ll have no problem.”

Fenech, who knows Tyson well from their past collaborations, was there for the end of Tyson’s professional career, including his surprising loss to Kevin McBride in 2005. He also trained Tyson for his 2020 exhibition against Roy Jones Jr.

Mike Tyson has described his return to the ring as a “miracle,” revealing that he once feared he would need to use a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

“Listen, it’s a miracle. I didn’t know what was going to happen in my life,” he said.

“I was scared I was going to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life.

“You get so…I don’t want to say depressed. Discouraged.

“Your back hurts, there’s nothing I can do. I’m useless.”

‘The health and well-being of athletes is our top priority, and we fully support Mike in taking the necessary time to allow him to perform at the level he expects of himself.

‘Mike is expected to return to his full training schedule in the coming weeks and is eager to get back in the ring.

Tyson said, ‘I want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding during this time.

‘Unfortunately, due to my ulcer flareup, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover.

‘My body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon. Jake Paul, this may have bought you some time, but in the end you will still be knocked out and out of boxing for good.

‘I appreciate everyone’s patience and can’t wait to deliver an unforgettable performance later this year.’

‘I fully support postponing the event so Mike Tyson has no excuses come fight night,’ said Jake Paul. ‘My fans know I don’t want to face Iron Mike at anything but his best, but let there be no mistake – when he steps into the ring with me, I will be ready to claim my W with a sensational finish.

The fight had been highly anticipated as Tyson’s first steps back in the ring since a bout against Roy Jones Jr in 2020.

The ulcer flareup in question occurred onboard an American Airlines flight from Miami to LA on Sunday, May 26 – forcing flight staff to ask passengers if there was a doctor on board to provide assistance.

Tyson said that he was ‘doing great’ in recovery, but clearly he wasn’t in good enough health to keep fighting. He even joked that he ‘doesn’t need’ to be at 100 percent in order to beat Paul.

But even that mid-air incident isn’t the first time that the boxing great had been spotted in poor health in recent years.

Speaking ahead of the fight the 57-year-old admitted that, while his training is going well, his body isn’t what it used to be.

‘I’m beautiful… I’m doing great but my body is —- right now. I’m sore,’ Tyson said in Harlem, New York on May 13.

Jake seemed keen on the idea, replying, ‘Mom doesn’t want me to KO you but f*** it.’

Revealing why Mike Tyson supports Tyson Fury before the Oleksandr Usyk fight. Fans were surprised because they couldn’t believe this

Even though he helped Francis Ngannou make Tyson Fury have a disappointing day, legend Mike Tyson still supported “The Gypsy King” before the big fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

Not long after winning against Francis Ngannou, Tyson Fury – the current holder of the WBC title – was confirmed to postpone the unification of the heavyweight championship titles with the owner of the WBA Super, IBF, WBO and IBO belts Oleksandr Usyk to February 17, 2024.

Fury’s performance against Ngannou was considered “disappointing” when “The Gypsy King” did not show the dominance expected against an MMA champion. Not only that, he was also knocked down by Ngannou in the third round and caused difficulties in the final rounds.

However, before the big heavyweight war, Mike Tyson – the heavyweight legend and coach of Francis Ngannou, still believes that the recent match should not be seen as a reason to underestimate the British giant.

“Listen, you have to understand that he (Fury) is still the champion. He gave Ngannou a chance and it was just a bad night for him, everyone has times like that.”

“I’m still waiting for this match, a match worth watching. I will support Tyson Fury because I believe he will dominate in strength. He is still the strongest boxer in the world, especially in the heavyweight division. Great fighters still fail, but they never stop defeating other great opponents.”

Mike Tyson still believes that Tyson Fury should not be underestimated just because of a poor match.

Fans have reason to worry about Tyson Fury after what happened against Francis Ngannou. However, the truth is that Fury is still a much larger opponent with a height/arm span ratio of 2.06/2.16 meters, compared to Oleksandr Usyk’s ratio of 1.91/1.98 meters. With this body type, it will not be easy for Usyk to create pressure on the WBC heavyweight title holder like Francis Ngannou did.

Since 2004 when WBO was officially recognized as one of the four largest boxing organizations in the world along with WBA, WBC, IBF, no heavyweight boxer has held the championship of these four organizations together. at the time. There were times when fights between Anthony Joshua (WBA, IBF, WBO) vs. Deontay Wilder (WBC) was expected to take place, but it was deadlocked until the belts changed hands one by one.

Now, the audience is waiting for the undisputed champion of the heavyweight division to appear after the match between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. The winner will continue the achievements of the legendary Lennox Lewis in 2001, with three WBA, WBC and IBF titles.

Frank Skinner unveils embarrassing moment that shook up MBE ceremony with Princess Anne

Speaking to the Loose Women panel this Wednesday, Frank Skinner remembered an awkward moment that made him somewhat bond with Princess Anne as she was rewarding him with his MBE

Awarded with an MBE for his services to entertainment, Frank Skinner has another reason to remember his big day and it involves Princess Anne.

The comedian, 67, was on the set of Loose Women this Wednesday, April 24, one year after receiving the prestigious award from the Princess Royal. But when Christine Lampard questioned him about the encounter, Frank admitted he’d been so impressed by the only sister of His Majesty King Charles III, that he was disoriented.

“I’ve met a few in my time”, Frank remembered, referring to the numerous royals he had bumped into during his 37-year-long career. “But when you meet Princess Anne, I’m thinking ‘wow it’s princess Anne.’” He then quipped: “I wonder if I can get my hair that high.”

    Frank Skinner
Frank Skinner told the Loose Women panel about an embarrassing experience with Princess Anne as she was awarding him an MBE for his services to entertainment
Frank explained that he had shared an awkward but hilarious moment with the Princess during the investiture ceremony, which took place at Buckingham Palace. “I’m looking at her and I’m getting my MBE so she says ‘thank you very much’”, Frank detailed. But the confusion quickly got to him as Princess Anne pinned his medal onto his jacket, prompting Frank to ask: “Do I not get my MBE?”

While she is known to be strong-willed, immensely private and one of the most hard working royals, Princess Anne is also reputed for her own flawless sense of humour. Frank was thus stunned when an amused Princess played along with his perplexed behaviour. “She said: ‘well you’re already wearing it – do you want another one?’”

This then prompted Frank to reply: “Could you get another one?”, before telling Christine Lampard, Brenda Edwards, Coleen Nolan and Olivia Attwood that Princess Anne was obviously joking. “I’d been so distracted she could have put anything on me (…) I wouldn’t have noticed,” he added.

But this was his second awkward encounter with a royal as, weeks prior to receiving his MBE, Frank told Lorraine host Ranvir Singh about another embarrassing experience with Sophie Wessex, Duchess of Edinburgh and wife of Prince Edward.

In December 2022, reports claimed that Frank had been shocked by the royal when she allegedly criticised his performance at the Royal Variety event, the Three Lions with David Baddiel, telling him “not to give up his day job.”

At the time of their interaction, Frank had tried to explain he’d battled his way through the performance to which Sophie Wessex reportedly claimed he was clearly “not used to live audiences” before shooting him an awkward look as he argued back. He recalled his experience on Absolute Radio.

Thankfully, tensions were quickly squashed when Sophie Wessex wrote Frank a heartfelt apology letter. Speaking to Ranvir in early April 2023, Frank then said: “I think it was just a misunderstanding.” He had then detailed that Sophie Wessex’s letter was a handwritten Christmas card. “It was handwritten, really lovely, polite and I thought this is one of the greater things about the posh, they know how to do manners. I’m a big fan of hers now, she’s my favourite.”

BREAKING : King Charles in tears after former Loyal worker told what really killed Prince Harry and Williams Mother Diana

In the years following Princess Diana’s fatal car crash on August 31, 1997, her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, remained notably silent about her tragic death, refusing to make any sort of official statement about their grief. But in recent years, the boys have started to open up about their mother to the press. With the arrival of The Crown’s sixth season, which features the tragedy, we’re taking a look back at how her sons have publicly reflected on Diana, and how they plan to continue her legacy.

In 2017, Diana’s sons used the HBO documentary, Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, as a platform to open up about what it was like to lose her at such a young age.

For the young princes—William, then age 15, and Harry, then age 12—their last interaction with their mother came in the form of a phone conversation—something that had become a nightly occurrence after Diana’s split with Prince Charles.

“I can’t really, necessarily, remember what I said,” Harry said in Diana, Our Mother. “But all I do remember is probably, you know, regretting for the rest of my life how short the phone call was. And if I’d known that was the last time I was going to speak to my mother—the things I would have said to her.”

When news of Diana’s death reached her family, William and Harry were devastated. “There’s nothing like it in the world,” William said. “There really isn’t. It’s like an earthquake has just run through the house and through your life and everything. Your mind is completely split. And it took me a while for it to actually sink in.”

Just a few days later, on September 6, an estimated 2.5 billion people around the world watched Diana’s funeral, as a young William and Harry stoically walked behind her cortège.

In a 2017 interview with Newsweek, Harry explained how difficult it was for him to handle the news of his mother’s death. “My mother had just died, and I had to walk a long way behind her coffin, surrounded by thousands of people watching me while millions more did on television,” said Harry. “I don’t think any child should be asked to do that, under any circumstances. I don’t think it would happen today.”

Immediately following Diana’s death, the royal family made attempts to engage the young princes in conversation about their mother’s passing. “The family came together and Harry and I tried to talk as best we could about it,” William said in the documentary. “But being so small at that age, it was very difficult to communicate or understand your feelings. It’s…it’s very complicated.”

For young Prince Harry, tears over his mother’s passing were put on hold in favor of shock. At only 12 years old, he couldn’t understand how his mother—who took him to soccer games and snuck him out every now and then for a burger or a movie—could mean so much to so many people he’d never even met.

“It was very, very strange after her death, you know, the sort of outpouring of love and emotion from so many people that had never even met her,” Harry said in Diana, Our Mother. “… And I was thinking to myself, how is it that so many people that never even met this woman, my mother, can be crying and showing more emotion than I actually am feeling?”

Diana was buried on a small island in the middle of the Oval Lake at the Althorp Estate, her family home. “The first time I cried was at the funeral on the island…and only since then, maybe once,” Harry said in the documentary. “So, you know, there’s a lot of grief that still needs to be let out.”

Despite their sadness, the boys had to maintain a positive public image and did their best to stay strong in the face of a world that was watching them so closely. “Slowly, you try and rebuild your life, and you try and understand what’s happened, and I kept saying to myself that, you know, my mother would not want me to be upset,” William explained in the documentary. “She’d not want me to be down. She’d not want me to be like this. I kept myself busy as well—which is good and bad sometimes—but allows you to kind of get through that initial shock phase.”

Though personal memories of their mother have faded over time, part of Diana, Our Mother centered around William and Harry looking through old photo albums, assembled by Diana herself.

“One of the [side effects] of grief and bereavement is that memories kind of get suppressed or obliterated, so I don’t think they knew,” director of Diana, Our Mother Ashley Gething told Vanity Fair. “And, we certainly didn’t know until we began the interview that they would be so candid. But quite quickly, when we began the interview, you could almost begin to see the memories surface.”

Specifically, one image of Diana and Harry caught the filmmakers’ attention.

“There is one photograph of Diana hugging Harry, and I think it tells you everything about their relationship,” they said.

“She would just engulf you and squeeze you as tight as possible,” Harry recalls in the documentary. “Even talking about it now, I can feel the hugs that she used to give us and, you know, I miss that. I miss that feeling. I miss that part of a family. I miss having that mother … to be able to give you those hugs and give you that compassion that I think everybody needs.”

Over the years, the loss of their mother has taken an immense toll on William and Harry. “I can safely say that losing my mum at the age of twelve, and therefore shutting down all of my emotions for the last twenty years, had had a quite serious effect not only on my personal life, but also my work as well,” Harry said in an interview in The Telegraph.

“I have probably been very close to a complete breakdown on numerous occasions, when all sorts of grief and sort of lies and misconceptions and everything are coming at you from every angle.”

In his 2023 Netflix docuseries, Heart of Invictus, Harry revealed, “My tour of Afghanistan in 2012, flying Apaches, somewhere after that there was an unraveling and the trigger to me was actually returning from Afghanistan. But the stuff that was coming up was from 1997 from the age of 12, losing my mum at such a young age, the trauma that I had I was never really aware of, it was never discussed.” He continued, “It was never discussed, I didn’t really talk about it and I suppressed it like most youngsters would have done. But when it all came fizzing out, I was bouncing off the walls. I was like, ‘What is going on here? I’m now feeling everything as opposed to being numb.’ The biggest struggle for me was no one around me really could help.”

Such a close, personal relationship with the issue of mental health inspired Prince Harry, Prince William, and Catherine, now the Princess of Wales, to form their own joint charity called Heads Together. The charity focuses on raising awareness of mental health issues and seeking treatment for the homeless, military veterans, and young people. The creation of this organization is a charitable step forward for both princes in demonstrating the empathy they inherited from their mother.

Prince William has also revealed that he does his best to keep Diana’s memory alive for his children. “We’ve got more photos around the house now of her and we talk about her a bit and stuff,” William said near the end of the documentary. “… I do regularly, putting George or Charlotte to bed, talk about her and just try and remind them that there are two grandmothers—there were two grandmothers—in their lives. And so, it’s important that they knew who she was and that she existed.”

It’s an idea that Harry has echoed with his own children—Archie and Lili (whose name carries an homage to her late grandmother.) “I got a photo of her in [Archie’s] nursery, and it was one of the first words that he said—apart from ‘mama,’ ‘papa,’ it was then ‘grandma’. Grandma Diana,” Harry said in his AppleTV+ mental health docuseries The Me You Can’t See in 2021. “It’s the sweetest thing, but at the same time, it makes me really sad because she should be here. I wish she could’ve met Meghan. I wish she was around for Archie.”

William hopes that in sharing his mother’s memory with his children, he can carry on some of what Diana taught him. “Time spent with her, the feeling of having her around, and being loved as a family—or as a son—I think those are the most precious and special memories to me,” William admits.

In late 2021, he recalled a simple, special moment with his mother, and how it has stuck with him over the years. “When I was younger, Harry and I, we were at boarding school. And my mother used to play all sorts of songs to kind of while away the anxiety of going back to school”, the prince said for an episode of Apple’s Time to Walk. “And one of the songs I massively remember and has stuck with me all this time, and I still, to this day, still quite enjoy secretly, is Tina Turner’s “The Best” because sitting in the backseat, singing away, it felt like a real family moment. And my mother, she’d be driving along, singing at the top of her voice. And we’d even get the policeman in the car, he’d be occasionally singing along, as well. You’d be singing and listening to the music right the way out into the gates of school, when they dropped you off.”

“I think she would be proud of everything Harry and I have come through, having lost her,” William said in the 2017 documentary. “And that gives me positivity and strength to know that I can face anything the world can throw at me.”
