Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once had a hidden gem of a home in the UK, valued at an impressive £2.5 million, although it’s rarely discussed. Nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds, this enchanting property served as their temporary sanctuary while they awaited the completion of their beloved Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Lose Inheritance After Alleged Snub of Charles

The Cotswolds abode was a charming Grade II listed house dating back to the 18th century, featuring three distinct structures. It included a main farmhouse, a delightful two-bedroom cottage for staff and guests, and a converted barn with two kitchens across its two floors. The main farmhouse boasted four luxurious bedrooms, one of which was rumored to be transformed into a lavish dressing room befitting royalty.

It was here that Harry and Meghan enjoyed tranquil walks with their beloved dogs and hosted intimate gatherings for their closest confidants, including star-studded guests like Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, and glamorous power couple George and Amal Clooney. Tennis legend Serena Williams and her partner Alexis Ohanian also graced the halls of this hidden haven.

Despite its allure, the Cotswolds property was only a temporary chapter in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s story. Frogmore Cottage, situated in Windsor, was intended to be their permanent residence. However, circumstances led them to relocate across the Atlantic, closer to trendy spots like Soho Farmhouse and the luxurious country home of David and Victoria Beckham.

Unlike Frogmore Cottage, which held official status as a royal residence, the Cotswolds cottage lacked robust security measures and stood just 200 yards from the publicly accessible Long Walk. This proximity raised concerns about their cherished privacy.

Despite their affection for this idyllic countryside sanctuary, Harry and Meghan were forced to make a swift departure. Prince Harry expressed his disappointment in his memoir, “Spare the Prince,” recounting how their privacy was violated by intrusive paparazzi, even resorting to helicopters and telephoto lenses aimed at every window, including their intimate bedroom.

Meghan Markle leaves Kate Middleton green with envy

Meghan Markle ‘must have been incredibly envious and then jealous of Kate Middleton’, a royal expert has claimed.
Editor of Majesty magazine Ingrid Stewart suggested to The Telegraph that the Duchess of Sussex, 42, was perhaps jealous of her husband Prince Harry’s close sibling-like relationship with Kate.News now : Meghan Markle Leaves Kate Middleton Green with Envy

‘Unfortunately, it points to Meghan doesn’t it? Maybe Harry was a little in love with Kate,’ said the royal author, before adding: ‘No, no, no – I don’t mean physically but mentally. Remember when it was just the three of them?

He always longed for a sister, he told Diana that. Psychologically I think he just adored her and he was always there, at Kensington Palace, in their fridge, you know, “What’s for supper?”.

Elsewhere, Ingrid, whose new book My Mother and I centres on King Charles III’s relationship with the late Queen Elizabeth II, said the ‘jealous’ Duchess ‘thought she was going to be a princess and live in Windsor Castle.’

Instead, the mother-of-two and her husband Prince Harry, who are now based in California following Megxit, were at first ‘stuck in Nottingham Cottage which [the Duke] used to call “my hovel”‘, while ‘there’s William and Kate with this beautiful house’.

The royal author continued: ‘I think that Meghan must have been incredibly envious and then jealous of Kate.

‘I heard Meghan actually thought she was going to be a princess and live in Windsor Castle. Instead, there’s William and Kate with this beautiful house, while they are stuck in Nottingham Cottage which Harry used to call “my hovel”.’

While Ingrid doesn’t write off the chance of a reconciliation entirely, she does say that distance – both physically and metaphorically makes it seem somewhat unlikely.

In December, an insider told The Telegraph that Meghan ‘felt she had more of a right to speak’ than Kate at certain events because she was a ‘self-made woman’.

The Duchess was allegedly uneasy with the Prince and Princess of Wales being the superior royals in the palace hierarchy when she joined the Royal Family.

This was particularly the case during a Royal Foundation Forum in February 2018, a source said, where it was claimed the tension between the ‘Fab Four’ was ‘palpable’.

Meghan felt ‘she was a self-made woman whereas Kate hadn’t really had her own career’, an insider told the publication.

The source said: ‘She seemed to feel like she had more of a right to speak than her sister-in-law, who had married into the family as an unknown whereas Meghan regarded herself as a philanthropist who could teach the royals a thing or two about charity.

‘I think she found it difficult that the Royal Foundation was already a well oiled machine by the time she got there.’

However, Omid Scobie previously claimed that Kate failed to foster a ‘meaningful’ relationship with her sister-in-law Meghan in his first book Finding Freedom.

It was also reported that Meghan received a ‘lukewarm’ reception from ‘formal’ William and Kate when her relationship with Prince Harry turned serious.

As Harry wrote in his book Spare, when he first introduced Meghan to his brother, Kate had remained in the garden – which wasn’t the welcome they had hoped for.

It comes after the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden revealed that the Princess of Wales, who underwent ‘successful’ planned abdominal surgery more than three weeks ago, is on the mend.

In a clear sign of her improvement, she was able to join her husband, Prince William, and their three children as they set off for a half-term holiday on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, where the King is also convalescing.

‘Catherine is recovering well,’ a friend said. ‘She was looking forward to a change of scene and will be able to take it easy in Norfolk while the children let off steam with William.’

The Princess, 42, was discharged 12 days ago from the London Clinic, where she had spent almost two weeks.

In the only Kensington Palace statement about her health, a spokesman said on January 17 that, ‘based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter’.

The spokesman did not provide details about the nature of her surgery, but sources briefed that it was not for cancer.

Since leaving hospital, without being photographed, Catherine has been at Adelaide Cottage, the family’s four-bedroom home at Windsor Home Park.

Her children, Prince George, ten, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, all attend Lambrook school a 15-minute drive away in Berkshire. They broke up for a week’s half-term holiday on Friday.

Thomas Markle has slammed Meghan and Harry for “insulting” the Queen over their Sussex Royal brand row.

The dad hit out at his daughter in a furious outburst after she and Harry were forced to confirm they would not use the word Royal after quitting the Firm.

Speaking to TMZ from near his home in Mexico, Markle blasted: “I’m very upset with Harry and Meghan right now.

“[They] don’t have a right to speak to the Queen the way they’ve spoken to her. I think it’s an insult to the Queen and the British people.”

Markle, who has repeatedly slammed the couple after being shunned from their wedding in 2018, went on to say Meghan and “dumped” him and is now “dumping the royal family”.

It comes after he warned he will keep cashing in on the Megxit row as he begged Meghan to contact him.

    ROYAL ROW

The royal row erupted last week when the couple were forced to ditch their Sussex Royal brand when the Queen hired top lawyers to ban it.

Pals said that Meghan believed there was no legal comeback for the Queen if they continued to use the term after quitting on March 31.

But her and Harry later released a lengthy statement on their website on Friday night where they confirmed they would not be using the word “royal”.

The couple also appeared to throw a perceived dig at being treated differently from other working royals, including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

And the bombshell statement pointed out that while no longer able to use the word royal, Prince Harry would remain sixth-in-line to the throne.

    RETURN TO UK

Harry and Meghan are due to return to the UK to complete their last royal engagements before their March 31 deadline.

The first return to royal duties for Meghan will be on March 5, with the couple heading to the Endeavour Fund awards in London.

As part of the busy six engagements in 11 days, Harry, 35, is expected to attend the opening of the Silverstone Experience – a Brit motor racing museum – with F1 legend Lewis Hamilton on March 6.

And the next day, he will be joined by wife Meghan, 38, for the Mountbatten Festival of Music at Royal Albert Hall.

Meghan is then set to enjoy a solo outing on March 8 when the former actress will mark International Women’s Day, however details of the event are yet to be announced.

And the couple’s final engagement on March 9 will see them join the Royal Family, including the Queen, for the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey.

It comes after Harry and Meghan axed their 15 UK staff, in their surest sign they will never return to Britain to live.

The couple, who are currently living in an £8million mansion on Vancouver Island, have been allowed to keep their HRH titles but have been forced to accept that they will not use them publicly as they tout for business around the globe.

Under the terms of the Mexit deal, they have agreed to repay the £2.4million of taxpayers’ money used to refurbish their Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor.

Harry and Meghan must also pay a commercial rent for the home of around £30,000 a month.

The Queen 'really angry' after this surprising mistake in royal kitchen | HELLO!

After leaving the Royal Family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat down for a now-famous interview with Oprah – one of a number of attacks on the Firm since their depature.

They alleged that racist comments had been made about their son Prince Archie, prompting Prince William to break his silence by firmly delcaring “we’re very much not a racist family”.

The March 2021 interview only deepend the rift between Prince Harry and his family, but the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh had a cheeky response to the whole thing.

When asked about it in an interview with The Telegraph, Prince Edwards simply responded, “Oprah who?”, while Sophie laughed and added, “what interview?”.

The Queen ‘is more angry with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle than with Prince Andrew’s Epstein interview

THE Queen is feeling “very let down and angry with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle” after their shock decision to step down as senior members of the Royal Family, a former aide has claimed.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, Her Majesty’s ex-press spokesman Dickie Arbiter argued The Queen will be feeling “more angry” than after Prince Andrew’s “car crash” Newsnight interview discussing his involvement in the Epstein scandal.

Discussing how the couple’s announcement came as a shock to the Royal Family, the expert said: “The Queen didn’t know, William didn’t know.

“[Prince Harry and Meghan Markle] had a brief chat with the Prince of Wales some time ago and he cautioned them to get everything in place before you make an announcement.

Dickie claims Prince Charles advised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to “work out the logistics” of how they were going to split their time between the UK and North America before formally making an announcement – but they allegedly “didn’t listen to him”.

After the couple made the announcement last night, Buckingham Palace responded with a statement in which they said “discussions with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at early stage” but admitted it was a “complicated issue”.

Describing how Her Majesty will have responded to the news, Dickie said: “The Queen will be feeling very let down and very angry, probably more angry than she felt after Andrew’s carcrash interview.”

Although fellow panellists Trisha Goddard and Sally Jones expressed outrage over his claim, the expert asserted that Harry and Meghan have dropped a “bombshell” while Prince Andrew’s involvement in the Epstein scandal has been “going on for ages”.

Since Prince Andrew’s disastrous Newsnight interview in November, the royal was sacked from royal duties by his “disappointed” mother.

The expert also criticised the couple for releasing a new photo of their son Archie on New Years Eve which “overshadowed” Prince William’s new environmental initiative.

The expert accused Harry and Meghan of 'overshadowing' Prince William's eco-prize with this photo of Archie

Insisting they’ve been “asking for trouble” by breaking away from the Royal Family, Dickie said: “There was a time when there was coordination, when households talked to each other.

“That one wouldn’t overshadow the other one – that’s how good organisations work.”

In more Royal Family news, The Sun’s royal photographer thinks Harry is “doing what he’s told” by Meghan who wanted to get out of the limelight.

The Princess of Wales came under attack by Prince Harry in his autobiography, Spare, which was released earlier this year.

And while almost 10 months have passed since the book’s release, royal correspondent Katie Nicholl says Harry’s decision to publicly criticise his sister-in-law is still something that deeply upsets her.

Katie, author of The New Royals, told Fabulous: “When you think of the personal revelations, and I think you can call them snide remarks made about Kate in Spare, Harry broke the one rule and that is staying silent on family matters.

“While Kate and Harry used to be very, very close, there’s been a complete breakdown of that relationship.

“I don’t think Kate does angry. I think it is more a case of feeling very disappointed, very let down and feeling hurt knowing that she had no right of reply – and Harry knew full well she had no right of reply.”

Katie added: “I do know that William was very angry that Harry had drawn Kate into it when he felt Kate was blameless throughout. She acted very much as the peacekeeper, she tried to get the brothers back on an even keel and for Kate to be dragged into this mucky saga was upsetting for her and certainly did infuriate William.”

In his autobiography, Harry claimed Kate, 41, was “disgusted” when Meghan used her lip gloss, and he recounted another row where the Cambridges were “apparently upset that [the Sussexes] hadn’t given them Easter presents”.

The 39 year old prince also went into detail about the infamous row over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress when he married Meghan, 42, in 2018.

And in a further break in Kate’s trust, Harry revealed how a row between the two women broke out after Meghan suggested a then pregnant Kate had “baby brain.’

He claimed that Kate told Meghan, “You talked about my hormones! We are not close enough for you to talk about my hormones!”

He wrote that Kate gripped “her chair so tightly her fingers had turned white.”

And according to Katie, it isn’t just Kate’s relationship with Harry that is beyond repair, but Kate and Meghan’s too.

“I think it’s too far down the line for Kate and Meghan,” the royal expert said. “There were some deeply personal revelations about Kate in the book.

“Meghan clearly didn’t enjoy her time here and she’s obviously leading a much happier life in California.

“She is certainly in no hurry to come back to Britain [to reconcile], though she was certainly in a hurry to leave!”

Meanwhile, Katie says that Prince William’s relationship with his younger sibling is so “challenging” and “badly broken” that he also has no intention of making amends with Harry, despite them both being in America this week.

William, 41, is currently in New York for the Earthshot Prize Summit, while Harry and Meghan returned to California this week following their stint in Germany for the Invictus Games.

Katie said: “There have been many occasions where William and Harry could have they could have met and attempt to reconcile – there was obviously the King’s coronation, William’s trip to Boston, Harry has recently been in the UK – there are times when they have been in the same country and they have no plans to meet.

“I think that  tells you everything you need to know about the state of their relationship.

“There has been a complete breakdown of trust. I think even if William did want to reconcile, the trust between him and his brother has been so badly broken down that I think it’s going to make any reconciliation very, very challenging.”

Prince Harry grimaces as Meghan Markle’s lies in New York exposed by Whoopi Goldberg

In October 2022, Whoopi Goldberg criticized Meghan Markle for “making other women feel bad” after Markle said her time as a “briefcase girl” on Deal or No Deal made her feel like a bimbo.

Goldberg, known for her liberal views, commented, “If you see it and that’s how you feel, maybe you don’t want to make the other women feel bad because maybe they’re just trying to make a living too.”

Goldberg continued, “The objectification might be coming from you and how you felt about how these women were being portrayed.”

In 2023, Goldberg questioned Markle and Prince Harry’s account of a “near catastrophic car chase” with paparazzi in New York City.

“If it was possible to have car chases in New York, we’d all make it to the theatre on time,” Goldberg joked, adding, “I think their spokesperson referenced something you generally would reference in Los Angeles.

That’s where you have chases, where you can move at high speeds.”

Goldberg has described her relationship with Prince Harry as “close” and has also called for the Royal Family to apologize for their colonial past.

Hot news: Meghan Markle’s fake pregnancy secret has been exposed, prompting Prince Harry to immediately demand a “royal origin investigation.”

In a shocking turn of events, it has been revealed that Sir Nicholas Soames, a close friend of Prince Charles, leaked the fabricated news of Meghan Markle’s pregnancy with Archie to the King.

Despite conflicting reports from both sides, claiming the King’s desire to extend an olive branch and Meghan’s wish for a harmonious relationship with Charles, it is clear that these statements hold no truth.

The royal family is currently grappling with a much bigger issue – the impending revelation of the use of surrogates.

This scandalous subject continues to plague the royals, who must find a way to handle it without implicating themselves in the deceit.

Understandably, there is a great deal of animosity within the family towards Meghan for repeatedly subjecting them to this immense mess, which has become a daily source of turmoil for the monarchy.

Everyone within the palace has their own ideas on how to address the situation.

Leading this charge is Sir Nicholas Soames, a trusted confidant of Charles and a member of his inner circle.

Although he does not hold an official role within the royal household, his familial connection to Winston Churchill, who enjoyed close ties with the royals during his tenure as Prime Minister, grants him significant influence.

The truth surrounding the existence of invisible children, the use of surrogates, the bullying allegations, and any other pertinent information must be brought to light.

The public has grown weary of the ongoing drama surrounding the Markles, and their patience has worn thin.

How did Matt Lauer's revelation about Prince Archie's paternity affect Meghan Markle? - Quora

Many suspect that the family was initially deceived and only discovered the truth when they were already trapped in a precarious situation.

While there may have been initial sympathy for Meghan, the tide is turning against her, and people are beginning to question her motives.

The recent birthday story published in Spur magazine also raises eyebrows.

It is highly unlikely that a woman would be discharged from the hospital just two hours after receiving an epidural, as the article suggests.

Such a quick departure may be plausible if Meghan were not the one giving birth.

Speculation abounds, and while some may initially sympathize with the less fortunate and angry individuals involved, a growing number of people suspect the truth and believe that the royal family was initially hoodwinked.

Despite their initial victimhood, the British royal family may eventually find forgiveness from the public.

They were unwitting participants in this elaborate scam, preoccupied with their own lives and duties.

Sir Nicholas Soames has also defended his friend of 65 years, stating that past indiscretions should not overshadow his loyalty.

On the other side of the divide, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Catherine are firmly resolved to see Harry and Meghan dealt with decisively, putting an end to their disruptive games once and for all.

King Charles, a considerate and peace-seeking monarch, simply desires a quiet life, and who can blame him?

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan seem determined to secure a substantial financial settlement for themselves and their children.

It is worth noting that they have distanced themselves from another grandfather figure, though this time it does not involve any jewelry or precious gems.

In other news, the popularity of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has taken a hit as a recent poll reveals a decline in public opinion compared to other members of the British royal family.

The survey indicates that a mere 14% of respondents in the UK consider Harry and Meghan to be positive role models.

In contrast, a significant 71% view Prince William and Kate Middleton in a favorable light, marking a 7% increase since the same question was asked in 2020.

Rick appeared on the Chicks in the Office podcast and revealed why he was caught on camera during the wedding pulling an “awful face”.

He explained: “As time goes on, I’m starting to smell something really terrible and foul, and I’m very sensitive when it comes to that so I start to try to do this.”

He then gestured covering his face, and added: “Because I have a coconut vanilla moisturiser, and I like to try to cut it.

“How can I help getting away from this goofy face?”

After he smelt the unpleasant aroma, he went over to his Suits cast friends, and added: “Because I don’t want them to think it’s me because I’m so particular when it comes to hygiene.

“So I’m like, ‘Do you guys smell that?’

    “And they’re like, ‘No.’

“So now I’m like literally by myself and I’m just going, ‘Mother…’.

“And that’s what they got [on camera].”

Rick added that ironically it was former co-star Meghan, who played paralegal Rachel Zane, who knew he had a sensitivity to smells.

He continued: “Guess who knew that the most in the cast that I had an issue with other people’s hygiene?

“Meghan! Always knew and would always laugh about how I was so sensitive.”

He added that his funny facial expressions caught on camera were also due to sitting next to Suits star Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulsen, and trying to do “something ridiculous” to get a reaction from her but she told him to “cut it out”.

This follows Meghan reportedly wanting air fresheners to fix the “musty” smell at St George’s Chapel before her wedding.

The Duchess of Sussex specifically asked for atomisers to fill the chapel before Royal Wedding guests arrived because she didn’t “like its smell”, a source claimed.

Household staff were reportedly left astounded at her request because the chapel was The Queen’s regular place of worship and even contained the Royal Vault.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Apparently Meghan didn’t like the smell of the chapel, which as you would expect, is a little musty. It’s not unpleasant at all though.

“Meghan wanted staff to go around with these atomisers, like spritzer guns, and spray the chapel with scent before anyone arrived.”

According to royal biographers Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand in Finding Freedom, Meghan secured £130 Diptyque Baies diffusers for the big day.

They were said to be provided by the brand and approved by the palace, leaving the chapel smelling of roses, infused with fruity undertones of berries and currant leaves.

Meanwhile, Kate requested Jo Malone candles be sent to Westminster Abbey for her big day.

Everything we know about Meghan’s time on Suits

Meghan was an original member of the Suits cast when the show’s pilot aired on June 23, 2011.

She portrayed Rachel Zane in the hit legal drama, being first introduced as a paralegal in the series, having yet to pass her bar exam and become a lawyer.

Meghan Markle faces criticism following the disclosure of controversial details from a recent podcast, adding to her public scrutiny. In a surprising twist, Paris Hilton shared her thoughts during an interview on Kinsey Scofield’s YouTube channel. The topic of discussion? The Duchess of Sussex’s podcast on archetypes.

Addressing the podcast’s premise of advocating for women’s empowerment, Hilton remarked on the irony of its guest list, predominantly comprised of affluent celebrities. “I thought it was funny,” she quipped, highlighting a perceived disparity between Markle’s proclaimed advocacy and the podcast’s actual lineup.

Scofield, the interviewer, expressed difficulty in aligning with Markle’s perspective and ventured to inquire about her American Riviera Orchard project’s potential success. Hilton, unexpectedly supportive, forecasted triumph for the venture. “Yes, I think the American Riviera project would be a success,” she affirmed, attributing it to the divisive yet captivating allure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Acknowledging Hilton’s stance, Scofield reflected on the polarized opinions surrounding the royal couple, likening public interest in them to that of a reality TV series. The exchange highlighted diverging perceptions of Markle’s initiatives and their potential impact.

This critique comes amid recent revelations that a notable designer declined collaboration with the duchess. Julian McDonald, a prominent British fashion figure, openly favored the Princess of Wales over Markle at the Fragrance Foundation Awards in London, underscoring ongoing tensions within the fashion industry.
