  • King Charles met David after refusing to meet Prince Harry due to his busy schedule, which strained their relationship

King Charles met David after refusing to meet Prince Harry due to his busy schedule, which strained their relationship

King Charles III could not meet Prince Harry due to his packed schedule when the latter was in London to attend an event marking 10 years of Invictus Games

but took out time to meet English footballing legend David Beckham, according to a report by the UK Express.

Spokespersons of the royal family as well as of Prince Harry ruled out a meeting between Prince Harry and his ailing father King Charles III due to the latter’s busy schedule.

The report by the UK Express said King Charles III and the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star discussed the UK royal’s charitable foundations when they met.

David Beckham, the ex-captain of the England football team, has maintained strong connections

with the UK Royal Family for a long time and has previously worked with both Prince Harry and King Charles on numerous occasions.

Media outlets in the UK and across the world have critically scrutinised Prince Harry’s recent visit to the UK with many speculating whether the son and father will set aside their differences as the old monarch and his daughter-in-law battle cancer.

After spokespersons for both parties said such a meeting would not be possible, Harry said that he understands his father’s commitments and hopes to meet up with him soon enough.

Following the publication of ‘Spare’, where Prince Harry revealed the state of his relationship with his father, Prince William and Kate Middleton, the ties between Prince Harry and the UK royal family have strained.

The cancer diagnosis led many to hope that the duo would turn over a new leaf in their relationship but there are no major signs of that for now. Moreover, Prince William, Harry’s elder brother, has also not spoken about his brother and their relationship and people familiar with the developments have said that William is upset with the claims made by Harry in his memoir as well as in other interviews and documentaries.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan wrapped up their three-day visit to Nigeria on Sunday, arriving in the country’s economic capital Lagos during a trip to promote his Invictus Games for wounded military veterans.

The Duke of Sussex arrived with his wife on Friday in Nigeria’s capital Abuja where they visited a school event on mental health, in a trip that also saw the prince meet wounded Nigerian soldiers in the country’s northwest.
When Prince Harry visited London for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, he unfortunately could not meet his father, King Charles III, due to the monarch’s busy schedule. However, he did find time to sit down with English football legend David Beckham, as reported by the UK Express. The meeting between King Charles III and Beckham reportedly focused on the royal’s charitable endeavors. David Beckham has a long-standing relationship with the UK Royal Family and has collaborated with both Prince Harry and King Charles in the past. Despite the speculation surrounding Prince Harry’s visit to the UK and hopes of reconciliation between father and son, spokespersons for both parties confirmed that a meeting was not possible at the time. Prince Harry expressed understanding for his father’s commitments and expressed hope for a future meeting.Following the release of his memoir ‘Spare’, which shed light on the strained relationships within the royal family, tensions between Prince Harry and his family have heightened. The public was hopeful that the recent cancer diagnosis would bring the family closer together, however, there have been no significant developments in that direction. In addition to the strained relationship with his father, Prince Harry’s elder brother, Prince William, has also refrained from commenting on the situation. Reports suggest that Prince William is upset with the claims made by Harry in his memoir and subsequent interviews. Recently, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, concluded a visit to Nigeria to promote the Invictus Games for wounded military veterans. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled to Abuja and Lagos, meeting with Nigerian soldiers and engaging in events focused on mental health. Queen Elizabeth II was reportedly left surprised by Meghan Markle’s reply to her valuable advice to royal life.

Meghan Markle gave the late Queen Elizabeth II a blunt reply when she offered her some advice upon joining the Royal Family.

The late Queen was reportedly left surprised by the 42-year-old’s response when she told Meghan that she could turn to the Duchess of Edinburgh for advice.

According to author Robert Jobson’s book ‘Our King’, Meghan replied, “I’ve got [Prince] Harry”.

The author added that Meghan was “warmly welcomed” by the late Queen, who was “so pleased Harry had at last found love”. As reported by the Mirror, the late Queen was left surprised by Meghan’s reply.

In the book, which was released last year, the author also spoke of a reported comment made by the Princess of Wales after the walkabout in Windsor following the late Queen’s death.

Mr Robson claimed that sources had told him that the walkabout wasn’t, as reported by the Mirror, as much of a “symbol of unity” as it looked.

Prince William and Princess Kate were joined by Harry and Meghan on the walkabout just days after the late Queen’s death.

A source claimed that the togetherness of the two couples was an “illusion” and that Kate had referred to it as “one of the hardest things she’d ever had to do”.

Mr Jobson wrote: “Catherine later admitted to a senior royal that, such was the ill feeling between the two couples, the joint walkabout was one of the hardest things she’d ever had to do.”

Meghan officially joined the Royal Family in 2018. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from royal duty in early 2020. The pair now reside in the US with their children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.

Meghan Markle has an unusual birthday tradition which sees her eat the same savoury food each year – she has even branded it her ‘vice’.

Meghan Markle has revealed she avoids sweet treats for her birthday, instead opting to indulge in a ‘vice’.

The Duchess of Sussex, who celebrates her 43rd birthday today (Sunday, August 4), has been enjoying the same unconventional tradition for years – starting off her day with a plate of French fries.

Her quirky breakfast habit was uncovered in a video shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) on one of her past birthdays.

In it, Meghan is seen chatting with a chef about her birthday preference, stating: “For my birthday, since I don’t have a sweet tooth, I always have French fries for breakfast with a little candle.”

Accompanying the video was a heartfelt birthday message reading: “Happy birthday to this girl boss, mother, wife, daughter, humanitarian, activist, role model, queen of constancy & kindness Princess Meghan Markle.”

And this fan wasn’t the only one to wish the former Suits star a happy birthday. One fan wished, “Best wishes Meghan” followed by a heart emoji, while another enthused, “Happy Birthday to Meghan Markle The Duchess of Sussex. Wishing her all the best and all the happiness. May her grace, kindness, resilient, optimism and strength keep inspire us all.”

Meghan has opened up about her affinity for the snack on multiple occasions. Back in 2012, she celebrated with an Instagram post captioned: “Birthday french fries” along with the hashtag “tradition”.

And in an interview with Delish, Meghan referred to chips as her “vice” – but it’s not her only one. “French fries and vino are my vices,” she confessed.

“I’m always hoping I’m having lunch with people, so we can share fries. It’s its own food group for me.”

And it’s not just plain chips she likes – she also loves poutine, a Canadian classic combining fries, cheese curds, and gravy. She insisted on an important detail: “It’s got to squeak when you bite into it.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were left squirming in their seats as their long-time friend, tennis legend Serena Williams, couldn’t resist making a playful jibe at their expense at the 2024 ESPY Awards.

The Duke of Sussex was present at the star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles to accept the prestigious Pat Tillman Award for Service. However, his acceptance of the ESPN accolade – which honours a heroic soldier and former NFL player – has drawn criticism from some quarters who claim it’s “exceptionally bad publicity” for him, the Express reports.

Serena, who was hosting the evening, started her opening monologue with a cheeky shout-out to the famous and controversial Royal couple. She playfully quipped that while they should be welcomed warmly by the audience, they ought not to breathe too much tonight.

Adding some extra spice to her joke, Serena said: “Because this is my night and I don’t want to be overshadowed by accusations you guys are taking up too much oxygen.”

To their credit, Harry and Meghan seemed to take the jest in good humour, laughing along as the camera focused on them among the crowd.

Serena and the Sussex’s share a long history, with their paths first intertwining at the 2010 Super Bowl. Meghan reflected on this friendship in her blog, The Tig, in 2014: “We are both the same age, have a penchant for hot sauces and adore fashion, but what connects us more than those things is perhaps our belief in exceeding expectations – our endless ambition.”

Some Royal pundits have voiced doubts over whether Prince Harry should have accepted his recent accolade, given the intense scrutiny surrounding his nomination. Hilary Fordwich, an acknowledged commentator on British Royal affairs, told Fox News: “His refusal to turn down the Pat Tillman Award, despite suffering a furious backlash with the petition urging ESPN to reconsider its decision…tangibly shows how his popularity has plummeted.”

Meanwhile, Admiral Lord Alan West, previous head of the Royal Navy and a Labour peer, also criticised Harry’s acceptance. He advised: “The latest lash out at him is Admiral Lord Alan West, Former Royal Navy Chief and Labour peer, saying that ‘he ought to think very hard and long’ about accepting this particular award as it ‘doesn’t travel well with people in the military.’”.

Christopher Andersen, the writer behind ‘The King’, has praised Prince Harry for accepting the ESPN honour, saying: “Harry obviously considered it a great honour and given what he has done for wounded veterans through his Invictus Games, the Duke of Sussex certainly seemed a logical choice.”

He continued in defence of the royal’s actions: “Harry is so proud of his military service and Invictus that it’s no wonder he is stunned by the backlash. Harry is used to being raked over the coals, but this is a genuine heartbreak for him.”

King Charles Sparks Controversy: Archie Removed from Succession, Prince Harry Reacts

King Charles dropping a bombshell on his own son, Prince Harry, essentially telling him and his kids to step aside from the royal succession. Because Charles just took it to a whole new level. Imagine this: King Charles, looking all regal, steps up to the mic. The whole world’s watching, probably expecting some bland speech about unity or whatever.

But nope, our boy Charles decides to go full soap opera on us. He drops the bomb that he’s removing Harry and his entire family from the line of succession. Can you imagine the collective gasp heard around the world? It was probably loud enough to wake up the corgis in doggy heaven.

Little Archie and Lilibet, those adorable munchkins who probably thought they had a shot at being the next Disney prince and princess? Yeah, they’re out too. Talk about harsh. Archie, who was probably dreaming of one day ruling over his own Lego kingdom in Buckingham Palace—sorry, kiddo, dreams over. And little Lilibet, who might have been practicing her royal wave in the mirror? Well, she can wave goodbye to that princess title.

I gotta say, Charles didn’t pull any punches. He basically said, “Harry, you’ve been a royal pain in the crown jewels, and I’m not having it anymore.” Okay, maybe not those exact words, but you get the gist.

And can we talk about the timing for a second? I mean, the ink on Queen Elizabeth’s obituary was barely dry, and Charles is already making moves that would make Cersei Lannister proud. Talk about not letting a crisis go to waste.

And poor Meghan—remember when she thought she was going to waltz in and modernize the monarchy? Yeah, that plan backfired spectacularly. Now she’s probably sitting in her Montecito mansion wondering if she can return that tiara to Amazon for store credit.

Harry and Meghan have been airing more dirty laundry than a 24-hour laundromat. From that Oprah interview—let’s be honest, it was more dramatic than all seasons of “The Crown” combined—to Harry’s tell-all book (more like tell-too-much), they’ve been pushing royal patience to its limits.

And Charles? Well, he’s not exactly known for his warm and fuzzy demeanor. That man’s been waiting longer to be king than most of us have been alive. You think he’s going to let his rebel son and his Hollywood wife mess that up for him? Please.

But here’s where it gets really interesting, folks. This isn’t just about family drama (though let’s be honest, that’s the juicy part). This is about the future of the monarchy itself. Charles is basically saying, “It’s my way or the highway,” and that highway leads straight out of the line of succession.

Think about it—for centuries, the royal family has been this untouchable institution. Sure, they’ve had their scandals (looking at you, Henry VIII), but they’ve always managed to keep it together, more or less. But now, Charles is shaking things up like a bartender mixing a royal-themed cocktail.

On one hand, you’ve got to admire the guts. He’s barely warmed the throne, and he’s already making big moves. It’s like he looked at the royal rulebook and said, “Nah, I’m going to write my own.” But on the other hand, you’ve got to wonder, is this the beginning of the end for the monarchy as we know it?

I mean, if the king can just decide to kick out his own flesh and blood, what’s next? Will we see Prince Andrew working the drive-thru at McDonald’s? Actually, that might be an improvement.

And let’s not forget about the public reaction. The Brits love their royal drama, but this might be a bit much even for them. I can just imagine the headlines: “King Charles to Harry: You are not the prince of my heart” or “Archie and Lilibet: From royals to regular Joes.”

But here’s the real question: What does this mean for Harry and Meghan? They’ve been playing the victim card pretty hard, and this just gives them a whole new deck to deal from. I can see the Netflix documentary already: “Exiled: How we lost our crowns but kept our dignity.” Spoiler alert: They didn’t.

And what about those kids? Archie and Lilibet are innocent in all this. One day, they’re potential heirs to the throne, and the next, they’re just regular kids with really, really famous parents. Talk about an identity crisis waiting to happen.

  • How Prince William’s pals helped him through feud with Prince Harry

How Prince William’s pals helped him through feud with Prince Harry

Prince William has a close-knit circle of friends to help him through the fall-out with his brother, Prince Harry.

Prince William may have found it tough to handle the rift with Prince Harry, but he has since proven his loyalty to another close confidant, William van Cutsem.

At the end of July the Prince of Wales made Mr van Cutsem, the son of the late Hugh van Cutsem who was a close friend to King Charles, an adviser for the Duchy Estate.

Mr van Cutsem, known as VC to his friends, has been pals with William since they were children and is an appropriate choice as he works as a chartered surveyor.

In the Duchy’s annual report, Mr van Cutsem is said to have a “keen interest in regenerative farming practices within the family’s home and farming businesses”.

It isn’t just work keeping them close though, as Mr van Cutsem lives just 20 miles away from the Waleses Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, and is also Prince George’s godfather.

William was also an usher at Mr van Cutsem’s wedding to Rosie Ruck Keene in 2013, while their niece Grace became unexpectedly famous as the little bridesmaid with her hands over her ears at William and Princess Kate’s own nuptials in 2011.

Harry was also at one point very friendly with the van Cutsems, as another niece, Florence, was a bridesmaid when he married Meghan Markle in 2018.

The Duke of Sussex has also stayed on good terms with another of William’s friends, James Meade, who joined him to dance the night away at Camden’s KOKO nightclub last summer.

These are some of the friends William has had to support him since his rift with Harry began, with many of these friendships dating back decades.

Mr Meade joined Thomas van Straubenzee in a joint best man’s speech for William and Kate’s wedding, another long-term friend who went to Ludgrove School with William and Harry before they went up to Eton.

Mr van Straubenzee has been married twice, first to Lady Melissa Percy from 2013 to 2016, and now to Princess Charlotte’s old teacher from St Thomas’s Battersea, Lucy Lanigan O-Keeffe, with whom he has two children.

He is also Charlotte’s godfather, having holidayed with William as a child in Cornwall with the Prince and Princess of Wales introducing him to his second wife years later.

Oliver Baker and his wife Mel Nicholson are another couple in the royal circle, as they started dating while they were students at the University of St Andrews just like William and Kate.

He prefers to keep his friendship with the royals private, earning him the nickname Zipper Lips Baker, but he is also one of George’s godparents.

Guy Pelly has also been close to William and Harry over the years, with his antics earning him the title of Court Jester among his inner circle.

He organised William’s stag night and became known for shimmying 40 feet up a marquee during a Prince’s Trust concert while stripped to his boxer shorts.

Mr Pelly is also godfather to Prince Louis, however it was William’s decision to skip the late Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas lunch in 2015 to support his friend at his father’s memorial that showed how strong their friendship was.

Rounding off the pack is Harry Aubrey-Fletcher, the youngest son of Sir Henry, 8th Baronet and Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, and Mike Tindall, who is married to William’s cousin Zara and has built a close bond with the Prince in Harry’s absence.

As well as being Meghan Markle’s birthday, August 4 is also highlighted as an important day in Prince William’s royal diary.

Meghan Markle is celebrating her 43rd birthday today, with the date also being an important day for her brother-in-law, Prince William.

August 4 has already been circled on the royal calendar as William’s christening back in 1982.

Forty-two years ago today, Prince William Arthur Philip Louis was christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Music Room at Buckingham Palace.

At the time, William was just six-weeks-old, with the special occasion marked by some adorable pictures of the young prince.

The late Princess Diana, then aged just 21, was pictured holding her newborn son. The mother-and-son duo were pictured alongside the then-Prince Charles, the late Queen and Prince Philip and the Queen Mother.

The tradition of family portraits remained long-standing, with the family taking pictures just two years later at Prince Harry’s christening.

Fast forward to 2013, William then posed for christening pictures for his eldest son, Prince George. The tradition was also carried on for his two younger children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

As well as being the date of William’s christening, August 4 was also the birthday of his late great-grandmother, the Queen Mother. The late royal was born in 1900 and died aged 101 on March 30, 2002.

In his memoir Spare, Prince Harry recalled the moment he told King Charles that his then-girlfriend shared a birthday with his late great-grandmother

Discussing the moment, Harry wrote: “The bond between Meg and Pa, always strong, grew even stronger during that weekend.

“One night, over pre-dinner cocktails, Fred Astaire playing in the background, it emerged that Meg shared a birthdate with Pa’s favorite person: Gan-Gan,” Harry wrote, referring to the late Queen Mother.

Speaking of his father’s reaction, Harry penned: “‘Amazing,’ Pa said with a smile.”

He also added: “At the memory of Gan-Gan, and the link between her and my bride, he suddenly became buoyant, telling stories I’d never heard, essentially performing, showing off for her.”

Meghan Markle has reached a new milestone as the Duchess of Sussex turns 43 today. The former Suits actress has established a tight-knit circle of celebrity friends including sports stars, actresses, television personalities and fashion designers.

The Duchess of Sussex is said to have had a “rift” with Victoria Beckham but she is not the only celebrity the former Hollywood actress is said to have drifted apart from.

Express.co.uk takes an inside look into Meghan’s celebrity friendships from feuds to those who went their separate ways and those who have continued supporting her.

Since leaving the royal family, alongside husband Prince Harry, in 2020 Meghan has been through a lot. While the married couple have had moments filled with good news and accomplishments, including welcoming their second child, daughter Lilibet in 2021, releasing their Netflix documentary and Meghan’s launch of American Riveria Orchard, they have also dealt with criticisms and media scrutiny.

The couple has had a whole village of friends to rely on through it all and have continued to be part of Meghan’s support system.

    Serena Williams

The renowned tennis star and the Duchess of Sussex have been friends since 2014, and have continuously expressed their support for each other through the years.

Meghan opened up about their relationship in her blog post for The Tig that Serena had become a close “confidante”.

“So began our friendship,” she marked, and further recalled: “She quickly became a confidante I would text when I was traveling, the friend I would rally around for her tennis matches, and the down-to-earth chick I was able to grab lunch with just a couple weeks ago in Toronto.”

Serena attended Meghan’s wedding at Windsor Castle in 2018 and the pair have continued to publicly support each other ever since.

    Tyler Perry

In a heartwarming token of friendship, film producer Tyler Perry offered his home to Meghan, Harry and their eldest son Archie when the coronavirus pandemic broke out. At the time, their temporary place in Canada was already hounded by paparazzi.

“They hid out at my house for a long time,” Tyler told Kelly Ripa in the Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, per Vanity Fair. “It was so great.”

“We needed a house and he offered security as well,” Meghan said during her interview with Oprah. “So it gave us breathing room to try to figure out what we are going to do.”

Over a year later, Tyler became the godfather to the Sussexes’ second child, Lilibet.

Despite A-list stars offering a helping hand to the Sussexes some of their A-list friendships have come under scrutiny amid reports of a “feud”.

    Victoria Beckham

The Beckhams and the Sussexes enjoyed a close friendship over the years, but cracks began to form.

The Duke of Sussex allegedly called David to accuse him and his wife Victoria of leaking stories, leaving David “furious”.

Cracks first started emerging in the pair’s friendship in spring 2022 when the former footballer invited Prince William and Kate to his son Brooklyn’s wedding – and not Harry and Meghan.

It was also reported Meghan had stopped wearing Victoria’s designs while Princess Kate had been seen wearing VB at events more frequently.

Meghan has since launched her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard and teased her project by sending some of her jam products to 50 big names, including Kris Jenner, actress Mindy Kaling and model Chrissy Teigen.

However, certain A-list celebrities didn’t appear to make that list as royal experts have suggested the Duchess of Sussex has “drifted apart” from these famous stars.

    Oprah Winfrey

When Harry and Meghan stepped down from their senior roles as royals the couple had their first televised interview with legendary US presenter Oprah Winfrey.

As neighbours the Sussexes and Oprah are said to have grown close with the latter also attending the couple’s wedding.

However, Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell claimed their friendship has since “cooled off”.

He told Closer: “Back in the day, the A-listers were riding on the moment – Harry and Meghan were the most popular couple in the country at one time when they got married, but there’s since been a decline.

“Some already have done – Oprah no longer seems involved with them and some other celebrities have also dropped them.”

The Royal Family have a rather large set of rules dictating most of their moves and that doesn’t stop at official engagements but during their past time too.

Most members of the Firm are getting ready to enjoy their summer holidays and with the sun well and truly shining, a former royal butler has revealed exactly what they get up to during the summer months.

Grant Harrold, who worked as a butler for King Charles from 2004 to 2011, said the royals like to take advantage of all the perks the sunny season has to offer and revealed how King Charles and Queen Camilla enjoy the best of summer drinking and dining, royal style.

Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, he said that the royal pair are very much lovers of the outdoors” and spend lots of time dining “al-fresco” throughout the summer months”.

He said: “The one thing about the King and the Queen, is they’re very much lovers of the outdoors.

    King Charles and Queen Camilla

“As soon as we have good weather, it’s quite common for them to have dinners and lunches and even breakfast outside.

“They’re very much fans of the summer weather and making the most of it, so they love to dine al fresco.”

Mr Harrold also revealed the major differences between a royal BBQ and one we might have at home, as he confirmed there are “seating plans” made with both BBQs and picnics in the royal household.

He added that cutlery is always used – especially for hamburgers – to “avoid mess”.

The former staffer explained: “When it comes to eating the food, they would use the correct cutlery, there would be knives and forks.

“I’ve never seen a royal pick up any food with their hands, but the younger ones will. The older royals use utensils because they’re more traditional, and they’re slightly more formal.

“They would definitely eat a hamburger, for example, with a knife and fork as they won’t want to get messy.”

Prince Harry happy to ‘take a backseat’ as Meghan Markle ‘took charge’ in interview

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to appear in a new interview focusing on cyber abuse and their fears for children online.

Prince Harry seemed happy to “take a backseat” while Meghan Markle “took charge” during their recent pre-recorded interview on CBS Sunday Morning.

The couple were there to talk to host Jane Pauley about the realities of online abuse and how to protect children on the web, a cause that has been very close to their hearts.

Their body language was also particularly revealing, as expert analyst Darren Stanton claimed that even though Meghan felt “nervous” she led the way.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino he said: “During the sneak preview of their upcoming interview, Harry is sitting there and listening to Meghan in the beginning. His eye contact was controlled and consistent, which tells us he is actively listening and waiting his turn.

“He seemed content with taking a backseat while Meghan led the charge during their joint appearance, appreciating the support of having his wife by his side as her presence visibly calmed his nerves.”

However, this did not mean the Duke of Sussex was not feeling confident, as Mr Stanton elaborated: “We later saw Harry beginning to speak up, with him accidentally cutting Meghan off mid-sentence – as she was taking the lead in the conversation, throwing her off guard.

“When Harry answered the interviewer, we see him being expressive with his hands and arms. This shows he felt enthusiastic about the answer he was giving. His non-verbal gestures reflected the passion he hoped to convey verbally.

“Here, Harry demonstrated he has the confidence and control to change the interview dynamic where appropriate. He’s not afraid to have his say and is happy to get more involved in the conversation where he feels necessary, as much as he is happy to let Meghan take a centre role.”

The expert explained how Meghan seemed to show a touch of nerves but deftly kept them at bay, as he said: “When Harry is speaking and holding court, taking away the attention from Meghan, we saw her biting her lip.

“This is a giveaway of how Meghan, despite appearing confident, was feeling nervous internally. It’s a key self-reassurance sign she displays when feeling uncertain or lacking in confidence despite externally portraying the opposite.

“While her eye contact did decrease throughout the interview, she did maintain a strong hold for the most part – and it exemplifies how she is able to adopt strength and push through even when she is feeling slightly out of her depth.”

It was announced this week that Harry and Meghan will travel to Colombia later this year where they will “engage with leaders, youth and women”.

A statement by the Vice President of Columbia, Francia Márquez, read: “As the Vice President of Colombia and Minister of Equality and Equity, I am pleased to announce that Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have kindly accepted my invitation to visit our beautiful country.

“During their trip, the Duke and Duchess will join me in visiting Bogotá, as well as the Caribbean and Pacific regions of Cartagena and Cali.”
