Coronation Street viewers were left threatening to switch off after some big scenes between Leanne and Rowan.

Tonight on the ITV soap, fans were horrified by Rowan’s treatment of Leanne. He blindfolded her and led to her to the middle of a circle where men and women were sat around her and started to shout abuse at her and tell her of all her shortcomings and wrongdoings, leaving fans struggling to watch what was going on.

He later urged her to call herself worthless, before declaring she wanted to be free. It left her devastated and she broke down in tears, before being embraced by the people who had been shouting abuse at her.

After watching the scenes, one fan wrote: “Wtf the institute has taken a rather dark turn #corrie,” whilst a second added: “Obsessed with tonight’s cult scenes in #Corrie they’ve really turned it up a notch now.” A third penned: “Gosh this is awful!”

Actor Emrhys Cooper has warned Leanne will soon become aware of Rowan’s criminal past – as he is hiding things from her.

He told The Mirror : “We are going to find out more about Rowan. He’s had an interesting and dark past, he’s been involved in crime, a very chequered past and he was saved by the institute. So he turned his life around thanks to the institute and he’s grateful cos it got him a new life, but you will learn more about Rowan very soon.”

On the cult and its impact, he added: “It happens way more frequently than we realise, it’s a slow burn. It’s not right away. [Leanne is a] Battersby, it took a lot of work for Rowan to get her in. I think it’s very realistic.”

Emrhys explained Rowan’s mindset behind what he’s doing – and how he really believes he’s doing things for the right reason.

“In Rowan’s defence he’s doing it for the greater good and he believes he’s helping Leanne and Amy. But I would definitely be a little nervous if I had revealed a lot of my past to someone like Rowan. It could be used against Leanne and Amy, that’s something to watch out for, pay attention,” he said of Rowan’s motive behind what he’s doing to Leanne.

However, there are already reports that this itinerary might be too taxing, and it is potentially being rearranged. We have no idea when William and Catherine will be able to tour abroad next, but when it happens, it will be a major event. Both Catherine and King Charles have taken every opportunity to connect with fellow sufferers, and no one can do this more effectively than members of the British royal family.

Meanwhile, Princess Anne is spending her fourth day in the hospital after being injured by a horse on Sunday evening. Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence said Princess Anne is recovering slowly as he left a Bristol hospital after visiting his wife. According to medics who previously treated her, Princess Anne will only listen to three members of the royal family in order to behave in the hospital. Hospital staff said that she constantly wanted to get up and go home, but it was only when three members of The Firm were brought in that she followed the medical team’s advice. The best strategy is to keep her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, or one of her children, Peter Phillips or Zara Tindall, on hand. These are the only people who could tell her to behave. Once home, she was generous with thank you notes, flowers, and a charitable donation.

Yesterday, William played a key role as he formally welcomed them, escorting them from their London hotel to Horse Guards Parade to meet the King and Queen. He smiled as the three exchanged pleasantries and posed for pictures. The recent blend of ceremonial and informal events has given us some unforgettable royal memories and images. Despite their afflictions, the royals have been helping others, and the world is watching and wishing them well.

She fumed: “You literally sent me videos of your dogs on Snapchat.”

The Welshman insisted they did not have “months worth of messages” before walking away. He then fumed: “Stirring the pot,” before adding: “Shut up, you absolute doughnut.” Later in the episode, Nicole and Ciaran discussed the subject once again as she told him: “I can’t be arsed with this s**t all the time.” He replied: “I just want to focus on me and you now.”

Love Island fans sided with Ciaran as one viewer said: “This Ellie girl is stretching out this whole Ciaran thing for a storyline and it’s not cute #loveIsland.” Another added: “is this ellie babe just embarrassed ciaran didn’t move to her during casa?? #loveisland.” Someone else commented: “ellie bringing up this entire thing with ciaran to nicole just to get some screentime and im not here for it – you KNOW what thats gonna do #loveisland.”

Harry Kane believes “one of the best goals in English history” can inspire England to go all the way at Euro 2024.

Gareth Southgate, Kane and the rest of the squad have been preparing meticulously on the training ground for the challenge posed by an in-form Switzerland and were in a serious, businesslike mood when they arrived in Dusseldorf on Friday. But there is no doubt Kane and his teammates are still buzzing about the dramatic nature of their last-16 win over Slovakia, sparked by Jude Bellingham’s 95th breathtaking 95th minute equaliser.

Kane said: “Any major winner, or country that wins, probably looks back at a moment that maybe changed the course of their tournament, or was a big moment in getting them through. Jude stepped up and has done that for us. I think it was one of the best goals in English history.

“Ultimately, we know we’ve still got three big games ahead, so it’s step by step. But those are the moments you might look back on in ten or 11 days, whenever the final is, and be, like … wow – that was the turning point. I think 100 percent it can be the spark that the team needed.”

But while Bellingham’s heroics might prove to be inspirational, Kane keeps coming back to one quality when discussing how England got to the last eight and the challenge that now lies ahead.

While Southgate and his players have been heavily criticised for their performances – even though they have won two and drawn two of their four matches – Kane clearly believes certain mitigating factors have not been taken into consideration.

The surfaces, the defensive organisation of modern international teams, the improvement of nations that are normally unfancied. But he is proud of the way England players might have been below par in terms but have shown the mental strength to pull through.

He said: “We feel like the coach has given us so much and been one of our most successful managers so we need to go out there and repay him. In terms of the performance, of course, every game we’ve tried to play better and improve.

“Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t but the important thing is we find a way to get through. We want to play better and hopefully we can do it but there are a lot of different variables in the game and different moments that you have to come through.

“What we’ve been so good at over the years is the resilience we’ve shown in different moments in different games and it will be no different (against the Swiss).”

And in terms of tactics, Kane revealed that a lot of players have been having their say since the 1-1 draw with Denmark in the second game of the group stage.

He said: “There have definitely been more discussions between the players and with the staff about how we felt on the pitch and how they saw it off the pitch, trying to come to a solution that works best for everyone.

“When you’ve got the players that we’ve got in our team, who have had the experiences we’ve had at club and international level, it’s very important you share what you’re feeling, share your ideas and share where you think we could improve. That’s what we’ve done, especially since that Denmark game.

Viewers know that Toyah has been keen to expose Rowan and his dodgy ‘self-improvement’ institute for weeks. Ever since Rowan reeled in her sister Leanne Battersby, she’s been intent on exposing him and the organisation as a scam.

But her recent fling with Leanne’s husband Nick Tilsley led to Rowan blackmailing her, forcing her to sign an NDA to keep quiet about the institute. Toyah will continue to look into him though, and soon she finally finds what she’s looking for.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, actress Georgia revealed her character will uncover information about Rowan’s past that is the evidence she needs. But the character could face serious danger as she continues to take him and the group on.

Georgia told us of Toyah’s shocking discovery: “She actually finds out some stuff about his backstory which goes to further vindicate her because yes, we knew it all along, he’s really dodgy! So she will find out some stuff eventually. We keep doing scene after scene [of her doing] some digging, but she’s not found anything yet but she will.

The star confessed her character could be in real danger in upcoming scenes, with her set to attempt to infiltrate the institute. Toyah will be shown pretending to be interested in joining the organisation after a change of heart, when in fact she’s clearly after evidence against them.

Georgia told us: “I think she could be in danger, she is so determined to bring them down and to get her sister out. That could cloud her judgement a bit.

“We have seen the institute have blackmailed her and Nick and forced her to sign an NDA. She’s still saying she is gonna fight them. We will see her try to infiltrate them and pretend maybe she needs to be more openminded.

“We see her going along to an event with Leanne pretending she has changed her mind when actually she wants more information.” Whether Toyah will be the one to expose Rowan remains to be seen!

You know, how are you really going to break through in a different sort of mindset?

He told viewers: ‘Right after they’ve got some colour on them, set them aside,’ before taking the meat out and adding: ‘It’s smelling nice already.’

He then added thyme and rosemary to his vegetable mix along with a small pot of tomato sauce.

He captioned the shot: ‘998, 999, 1000′. Fans took to the comment section to gush over his ripped physique.’

‘I got my wife on Indian and Chinese takeaway. She’s obsessed with it now.

‘My Nanny Peggy taught me how to make her English Breakfast sandwich when I was five, and it’s been my favourite ever since.

‘I’ve always been into trying different foods, cuisines, and cultures, but that was one of my earliest memories of loving cooking.

David, 48, is an investor in the restoration company Lunaz, which electrified and re-engineered the 1956 Jaguar XK140. He took a 10 per cent stake in June 2021.

Jaguar Cars launched the XK140 at the London Motor Show in October 1954 and was produced until 1957.

The sports car is an advancement over its predecessor, the XK120, as it is now more comfortable and capable of completing long-distance trips.

The styling was enhanced with a revised grille featuring fewer and thicker slats, larger bumpers, and new rear lights, which now have indicators.

But the aspiring chef’s vehicle is worth much more than the standard value market price of around £75,000 after the already improved motor underwent serious modifications.

This is one of many collectable motors Brooklyn owns, as he has been spotted in an array of sport and vintage motors.

The car-lover has previously been spotted in a ruby red £300,000 McLaren 765LT sports car.

Harper created her mother a PowerPoint presentation to try and convince her to let her have a perm.

In an interview with Grazia, she shared how Harper is wanting to start and try some beauty treatments.

She told how she created the presentation on the computer and showed it to her and David in the hopes of letting her take a trip to the hairdressers.

Harper has long straight blonde hair and a perm uses chemicals to make naturally straight hair curly.

However, despite Harper going to the effort of making the PowerPoint – Victoria admitted that her response to the request was ‘absolutely not’.

Victoria explained her negative response was born from a bad personal experience of having a perm when she was a teenager.

Back in 2022 Victoria shared a snap of her perm as she revealed what she considered to be her ‘teenage dirtbag moments’ as she hopped onto a TikTok trend.

She shared a reel of some of her more unexpected throwback fashion moments, with the Wheatus song, Teenage Dirtbag, played over the top.

The trend saw TikTokers showing off their awkward and embarrassing teenage years and among the pictures Victoria shared were her wearing a silver latex boob tube as well as showing off a giant pout with overlined lips.

She was also sporting an oversized shiny bomber jacket, which were all the rage in the 90s, as well as a giant perm, a sharp contrast to her sleek brunette hairdo.

In the Grazia interview Victoria also revealed that Harper had asked her whether netball was ‘strictly necessary’ when it would probably ‘ruin her nails’.

Elsewhere in the chat she spoke about her changing relationship with her appearance and says she is now less harsh on herself about what she eats and drinks.

She said: ‘You just become more accepting, don’t you? This is how I look. I’m going to make the best of it, work hard at it.

‘I’m very disciplined with the way that I eat, the way that I work out and the way I work. That’s just who I am.

‘But I do like to have a drink and I’m not going to be one these, ‘Ah, there are too many calories in a glass of wine’ types. Whatever. Life’s too short. Let’s have a nice time.’

It comes after earlier this month Harper had fun at her mother’s flagship store in Dover Street.

Victoria, who turned 50 in April, shared a video to her Instagram Story of Harper posing around the shop and modelling its items.

At the beginning of the Story, Harper could be heard saying: ‘Come with me to visit Victoria Beckham’s shop on Dover Street.’

Victoria set the fun clip to The Lovin’ Spoonful’s Do You Believe In Magic? and wrote over the top: ‘#HarperSeven takes over 36 Dover Street!! Kisses @davidbeckham xx’.

Harper wore a grey hoodie, darker grey jeans, and a pair of white, grey, and black Nike trainers.
