EXCLUSIVE: Queen Camilla will head up to meet King Charles at Birkhall later in the week where the couple enjoyed their honeymoon in 2005.

Queen Camilla will join King Charles on the Balmoral estate at the end of this week to kick off the Royal Family’s summer holiday celebrations, Express.co.uk can reveal.
According to our extremely well-placed source, Camilla, 77, will head up to meet the monarch at Birkhall where the couple enjoyed their honeymoon in 2005.

The property has been described as the “perfect retreat” for the King as he continues his cancer treatment.

“Camilla has been spending time with her family over the past few weeks and will be heading up to Balmoral later this week,” said the source.

“Birkhall is like a second home to both of them, they absolutely adore it. Not only is it where they had their honeymoon but also where they both enjoy spending time together away from prying eyes.”

Birkhall isn’t just a favourite for Charles and Camilla – it was also a honeymoon haven for the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Prince Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Kent and Princess Alexandra and Angus Ogilvy.
Plonked in the heart of the Balmoral estate in Scotland, the royal holiday home was once occupied by the late Queen Mother when in Scotland.

Their Majesties are said to be residing at Birkhall even when the rest of the royals roll up to the estate later this week.

Express.co.uk exclusively revealed last month that King Charles and Queen Camilla will be joined by other members of the Royal Family for a Balmoral summer holiday this month.

Prince William, Princess Kate and their three children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 – will join the monarch along with Princess Anne and her husband Timothy Laurence.

The Royal Family will make their way to Balmoral after the castle closes down to the public on August 4 and the grounds shut on August 11.

Speaking to CBS’s Jane Pauley, the Sussexes announced the Parents’ Network with mothers and fathers who have lost their children to suicide due to a lack of safeguarding online.

Meghan said that she hoped discussing her own mental health in 2021 would help others suffering with suicidal thoughts and put her hand on Harry’s knee.

Speaking to the Mail, body language expert Judi James explained that this shows how the Duchess is “seeking support” from her husband.

She said: “Their key tactile moment is made more dramatic by their previous ‘hands-off’ behaviour throughout the interview.

“When the interview focuses on Meghan’s own suffering we see her right arm extend as her hand is placed on Harry’s leg.

“This gesture could serve more than one purpose. It looks like a seeking for support and strength from Harry as she shares her own experience of ‘suicidal ideas’.

“But there is a wariness about Harry’s head tilt and the way he watches his wife’s face that could mean she uses the touch as a reassuring tie-sign to let him know she’s ok here discussing her ‘healing journey’, despite telling Pauley that ‘I wasn’t expecting it’ but that she would ‘take the hit’ to help others.”

The campaign, which carries the slogan #NoChildLostToSocialMedia, includes a video that has been posted on the Foundation’s website and features parents who have lost their children to suicide because of online harm.

In a revealing interview on CBS News Sunday Morning, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry highlighted a critical issue plaguing our digital age: the devastating effects of cyberbullying.

The Sussexes, in conversation with Jane Pauley, shared their personal struggles and the motivations behind their advocacy for online safety.

The couple’s efforts, driven by their role as parents to Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, are commendable and resonate deeply in a world smothered by social media.

Meghan also spoke about not being believed when she felt suicidal at the height of the couple’s association with the Royal Family.

However, as the Sussexes navigate their own path of public service away from the Firm, it is becoming increasingly clear that a period of quiet reflection and cooperation with the royals is necessary.

The announcement of an unofficial royal tour to Colombia has reportedly stirred discontent within the Palace. It’s not the first time the Sussexes have gone rogue and decided to undertake a “world leader” style tour of their own. There was Nigeria earlier this year, of course, and Harry thinks an Invictus Games event is on par with a G8 summit.

This reflects a larger issue: the delicate balance the Sussexes must take between their individual passions and their respect for – and still distant links to – the Crown. Burning those bridges any further will not only damage their own future but will drive the legacy left for their children six feet under.

The CBS interview was a reminder of the human side of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, offering a glimpse into their life away from the public eye and the good they can do with their quasi-royal platform.

Yet, it also highlighted an ongoing challenge. The couple’s frequent public appearances and media interviews often ignite tensions within the Royal Family and attract scrutiny that overshadows anything the Sussexes or the Firm are doing at the time.

It’s the wrong kind of noise that’s damaging a global super brand and lowering its stock – but what the Sussexes fail to realise is that they are the ones suffering the most from this behaviour.

In the interest of their causes and, more importantly, their family, Harry and Meghan must now consider a more measured approach. Putting it bluntly – by keeping their mouths shut!

The impact of cyberbullying and the importance of online safety are issues of great importance, deserving of significant media attention. However, their message is drowned out by the constant chatter about what they’ve done in the past and continue to do to this very day.

Their advocacy can be just as powerful, if not more so, without the accompanying media noise drummed up from their own actions.

The Royal Family, with its centuries-old traditions and complex dynamics, operates on a foundation of unity and discretion.

By embracing a quieter, more collaborative approach to their relationship with King Charles, Queen Camilla and the rest of the Firm, the Sussexes will be able to maintain their integrity and continue to work for the greater good while fostering goodwill within the family.

Rebuilding those damaged relations will not only improve the Sussexes’ own standing with the royals but will open up a path for Archie and Lilibet to build a future within the family they are so very much a part of.

It is a path that will allow the entire Sussex clan to support their causes effectively without alienating the institution that remains a central part of their identity.

Harry and Meghan’s voices could be immensely influential, and their commitment to their children and to creating their own path is undeniable.

However, it is time for the couple to recognise that true impact comes from within the fold, not on the outskirts.

By toeing the royal line and embracing a less confrontational approach, the Sussexes can achieve their goals with the support and respect of the Royal Family, instead of constantly battling them and not getting very far.

As they continue to champion their causes, a more harmonious relationship with the Royal Family will not only strengthen Harry and Meghan’s message but also safeguard their own family’s future. It is a delicate balance but one that, if achieved, could yield a new united approach, one filled with benefits on both sides.

Sharon Osbourne has aired her true feelings about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The telly legend is currently appearing on Celebrity Big Brother as a lodger, alongside the uncle of Princess Kate, who has also been vocal about his views on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. During the latest episode of the ITV reality show, businessman Gary, the uncle of the Princess of Wales, let rip as he said he believes the Sussexes should be stripped of their royal titles.

But Sharon went one step further as she claimed Americans are completely fed up with Meghan and Harry’s constant “moaning”. The couple quit UK life and their work as senior working royals in January 2020 in order for a more financially independent life in California.

Since relocating across the pond, Meghan and Harry have frequently hit out at the royals, with the former Suits actress even claiming that two members of the royals had made racist comments about their then-unborn son, Archie. It was later claimed that the two members of the family were said to be Catherine and King Charles.

Sharon, who resides in the US went on to claim that Meghan and Harry’s popularity is also “dwindling”. “I think everyone is fed up of their moaning,” she said. Mrs O went on to add: “In the beginning, they were very well received,” she continued that “some deals that they have done that haven’t worked well.” Meghan’s partnership with Spotify famously fell through before the Duchess revealed she was re-launching her Archetypes podcast.

Ahead of her conversation, Gary said: “I have the opinion that Harry was really loved, massively loved, and when they were a threesome – Kate, William and Harry – were really comfortable together, loved. And then suddenly there’s an extra dynamic that comes in, puts a stick in the spokes and creates so much drama that I don’t generally think is there, and re-wrote the history and said how unhappy he was, and I just don’t think that’s fair.”

Sharon commented: “They had their podcast and then the guy that signed them said that they were grifters. I adore him (King Charles) and I adore (Queen) Camilla.” Despite her chat with Gary, Mrs O had placed him up for eviction, believing that he didn’t feel secure in the celebrity environment.

Sharing the reason behind her decision, the fiery redhead said: “The housemate that I nominate is Gary. I don’t think he’s that comfortable here, I think he’s awkward with himself being here too. It’s very tough for him; he told me about things. He’s brave to have come in here. I somehow don’t think this is the place for him. He’s the oddball. If I went into his world and suddenly plonked myself in the middle of his boardrooms, I’d feel the same. I think he’s insecure too.”

A royal expert says the couple’s upcoming tour may be a way of “enlarging their profile”, while they eye more lofty goals.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are trying to “enlarging their profile” with their latest overseas trip as the Duchess eyes more lofty goals in politics, a royal expert has claimed.

The couple have confirmed a trip to Colombia at the invitation of the country’s Vice President Francia Márquez after visiting Nigeria in May, in what critics dubbed a “faux royal tour”.

Their Colombia visit is understood to be set for November, and is expected to include trips to the capital Bogotá, Cartagena and Cali.

Speaking to The Sun, Royal watcher Richard Fitzwilliams said: “The facts are that Harry and Meghan must have future ambitions that we don’t know about – or at least I strongly suspect that they do,” he told the outlet.

“It won’t just be programmes and lifestyle brands. There will be something more. They turned down the opportunity of being senior working royals and there they could have done a very great deal of good for those who are less fortunate.”

Fitzwilliams says it’s conceivable that Meghan has ambitions to make a bombshell entrance into politics, as has been suggested by royal experts, and may even have her say on the current US election race.

“It won’t be long before [Meghan] endorses [Vice President and Democratic candidate] Kamala Harris, and hopes, possibly, conceivably that might lead to – this has been talked about for years – some form of political career for her possibly in future years,” he said.

Fitzwilliams also claimed it appeared “hypocritical” that the pair were happy to tour Colombia despite various warnings Foreign Office issued to travellers about visiting the South American country after the Prince voiced concerns about his family’s safety in Britain.

According to the FCDO website, terrorists are “very likely” to attempt attacks and many “armed groups remain active throughout” Colombia.

Meanwhile kidnapping rates “remain high”, with armed groups taking hostages for ransom money and political goals, according to the Foreign Office, which advises against all but essential travel to parts of the country.

The Prince previously said he wouldn’t be able to return to Britain with Meghan, and their two children Archie and Lilibet “because it is too dangerous” after his security was downgraded following their departure from frontline royal duties.

“If Harry hadn’t made the comments about Britain being dangerous or words to that effect, since he has, the optics are very weird,” Fitzwilliams told The Sun.

A representative for the Sussexes has been approached for comment.

However, given the official invitation the couple have received, they will likely have a full security detail during their stay in Colombia.

Harry’s bid to challenge the Home Office’s decision to downgrade his security in the UK was rejected by the High Court in February, but the Court of Appeal said in June it would hear his challenge after an application from the Duke’s lawyers.

The decision over his security was taken by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec), which is responsible for the provision of Royal Family members’ security arrangements.

Prince Harry is planning a return to the UK next month and is said to be keen on a reconnecting with the Prince and Princess of Wales during the visit.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, is returning to mark the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games in London on May 8.

The Duchess, however, is said to concerned that he will regret the decision of trying to reconnect with his family.

According to OK!, a source said: “Meghan knows she is facing a losing battle when it comes to Harry reaching out to Kate and William to try and sort through their differences, but she thinks he’s making a big mistake.”

It comes after royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said that Kate’s cancer diagnosis could be an “enormous game changer” in the royal feud.

The Princess of Wales revealed she is undergoing preventative chemotherapy after being diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer earlier this year.

The source added: “She obviously feels sympathy for Kate and what she’s going through, but in her mind, it doesn’t change things.

“[Meghan] wants her to make a full recovery and for the family to all be ok but four years on from leaving and she’s still upset by it all and can never fully forgive the royals for what they put her and Harry through and have never apologised.”

Meghan Markle “wanted to be a superstar” after quitting the Royal Family with Prince Harry, according to a royal expert.

The Sussexes left their royal duties behind in 2020 and moved to the United States. But while the couple claimed to have wanted privacy, an expert believes the former Suits star was actually looking for more of the spotlight.

A royal commentator said Meghan was much more open to a life in the limelight, whereas the likes of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have opted for the “quiet” life.

Writing in the From Berkshire to Buckingham newsletter, Jane Barr said the idea of Harry and Meghan being “half in, half out” when it came to their royal duties simply wouldn’t have worked and insisted Harry wasn’t treated as a “spare” as such.

She suggested: “She [Meghan] would not have been happy with the ultimately quiet or truly independent/non-royal lives that William and Harry’s cousins actually live. Looking back to Megxit, Harry was not just the grandson of the Queen – the same relationship all his cousins had to the sovereign – he was the son of the future King.

 

“William and Harry were — from birth — preeminent royals, while their cousins, although celebrated, surely, began as secondary royals and only continued to fade as the years went by. Harry seems so bitter about being the spare, but he has always been quite senior to his cousins, and treated accordingly.”

She went on to say Harry and Meghan’s situation was different from others, claiming that the likes of Beatrice and Eugenie hold down regular jobs and don’t have glitzy high-dollar partnerships. “Meghan wanted to take her HRH and her title and be a superstar in her own sphere on the international stage,” Barr added, saying this would be “wholly separate from the control of the Crown.”

Both Meghan and Harry are currently working on projects as part of their huge Netflix contract. While Meghan is filming a lifestyle and cooking show, Harry is creating a documentary on his favourite sport, polo. Filming for Meghan’s show is said to have began in Montecito, while cameras have been spotted at polo events attended by the Duke in recent months.

Brooklyn was living it up on the boat with his in-laws, where he launched himself into the water before indulging in a spot of water sports.

As they arrived at the vessel, Brooklyn looked dapper in a yellow shirt with a white tee underneath and chinos however he the stripped down to his white shorts with a pair of Calvin Klein boxers peeping out from underneath.

Nicola looked stunning a tight blue top as she sat on the boat, opting against joining her husband on the vessel.
