Holden said she thought “none of us really care” about the California royals living their life in Montecito.

The 53-year-old shared her thoughts in response to Graham Norton revealing his feelings about the pair on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

The chat show legend had said: “Do regular people care that much? I don’t think they do. I think they just think let them live their lives.”

Theakston said: “I think we don’t care that much.”

Holden replied: “I think you’re right. I think the press makes so much of it but none of us really care.”

Her comments come as Prince Harry is set to meet Travis Kelce – only weeks after the NFL star hit it off with his estranged brother William.

The Duke of Sussex will be honoured with the Pat Tillman Award for Service for his Invictus Games work at the glittering ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on July 11

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s little girl, Princess Lilibet, celebrated her third birthday yesterday. Born on June 4, 2021, at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California, she is the younger sister of Prince Archie and the granddaughter of Prince Charles. Originally named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten Windsor, it was confirmed in 2023 that she and her older brother would carry princely titles, as their parents didn’t want to deny them their “birth right”. Despite being seventh in line to the throne, Lilibet has spent minimal time in the UK and holds the distinction of being the first of the late Queen’s great-grandchildren to be born overseas.

Jennie had some insights on how the young royal would have spent her day: “Three-year-old birthday parties are all about bouncy castles and little girls in princess dresses,” Jennie revealed. “Of course Lilibet is already a princess, but I’m sure her mum will still want to dress her up for her big day. After all, that’s half the fun of having a little girl. If Lilibet is anything like my three year old granddaughter, now is the time that she will be pining for a pet to cuddle…and a makeup bag full of child friendly (and washable) lipsticks and nail varnish. So I hope Harry is ready for guinea pig cage cleaning duties!”

Jennie remarked on the upcoming birthday plans: “I expect her birthday will be full of sunshine, squabbles with her brother, fun games with her toddler friends and some delicious home cooking from her mum. It will no doubt be an all American affair at their Montecito mansion and I would expect to see a sprinkling of celebrities and a laid-back party, which hopefully will include some other toddlers. It would be nice to think the day might include a video call to Lilibet’s grandfather, King Charles and hopefully some sort of gift has been arranged and will be delivered to Montecito for her birthday.”

The seldom visits of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK have sparked discussions about their ability to connect with their Royal roots and cousins. Jennie added: “I’m sure that, like Harry, she wants the very best for their children… and that will include an understanding of their background. I just hope that by the time Archie and Lili grow up, things will be calmer and the family more united, even if they continue to live thousands of miles apart. This is not the children’s fault or responsibility so let’s hope the adults can make it a better world for the next generation of royals.”

David, 46, and Victoria, 47, will no doubt have inspired Brooklyn, 23, for his big day – with no expenses spared on their eldest son’s upcoming £3.5million wedding.

Back in 1999, the photographer was the star guest – aged just four months old – when his parents got hitched in Dublin, Ireland.

The couple, known as Posh and Becks, became husband and wife at the stunning Luttrellstown Castle – which dates back to the 1700s.

David and Victoria’s big day was curated by Bentley’s Entertainments, who also organised Elton John’s birthday and Princess Anne’s 40th.

The pair had searched for three months for the perfect venue with their planners before settling on the castle, sitting on a 560 acre plot of land.

“Victoria wanted somewhere really private and unique, somewhere leafy and green,” organiser Peregrine Armstrong-Jones told OK! magazine.

David and Victoria then opted for a Robin Hood theme to their big day – which had a colour palette of green and purple at the reception.

The Spice Girl hand-picked the specialist floral installations by Simon Lycett, who worked on Hugh Grant classic Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Fresh apples had been pierced around the stunning castle to give the entire place the smell of fresh fruit – while a leafy walkway was constructed to see guests on their walk into the reception.

The couple said ‘I do’ in the chapel on the site of the castle, after they were given a special licence to marry by the Archbishop of Dublin.

The pair both dressed up for the occasion – with David donning a Timothy Everett designed cream suit, and Victoria in a Vera Wang dress.

She completed her look with a diamond and gold coronet made by Slim Barrett, who crafted pieces for Princess Diana.

David was driven to the nuptials in a £230,000 Bentley Azure, while bride-to-be Victoria arrived shortly after in a Bentley Arnage.

Celebrity guests were entertained by a string quarter as they waited for the bride and groom to arrive.

Among them were all the Spice Girls, and both David and Victoria’s parents – before the remaining 226 guests arrived for the reception.

Dozens of bottles of Laurent Perrier pink champagne had been purchased for the event, where posh canapes were served throughout.

At the reception, Victoria and David were sat in a “bridal alcove” in huge crushed velvet thrones – as they were joined by then baby son Brooklyn.

The couple and their guests enjoyed a three-course meal as an 18-piece string orchestra played Spice Girls hits throughout the evening.

Their three-tiered Rachel Mount cake was cut at 10pm, followed by speeches from both sides of the family and their friends.

Following the speeches, guests were taken to a second marquee where the dance floor had been laid out, while Mr and Mrs Beckham changed into their evening attire designed by Antonia Beradi.

Before the couple and their guests partied the night away, they enjoyed their first dance to Frank Sinatra’s It Had To Be You.

Ahead of the lavish nuptials in the £3million ceremony, Victoria, 47, gave an insight into her family in high spirits.

In a trio of images posted to her Instagram page, proud dad David posed with his arm wrapped around son Romeo.

As they get set for their sibling’s happy day, The Sun can reveal the couple are to have a double wedding, with two ceremonies marking the separate faiths of Nicola’s parents. One will be Catholic, a nod to mum Claudia, and the other Jewish, for her dad Nelson.

Aspiring chef Brooklyn — who has said he will wear a skullcap, or yarmulke — is also going to take Nicola’s surname as his middle name.

He was seen arriving last night — along with his parents and his little sister Harper.

The festivities began with a rehearsal dinner, set to be attended by many of the celeb guests. As is traditional, Brooklyn and actress Nicola will part ways afterwards and not see each other until today, when no expense has been spared.

The 300 guests will be treated to limitless £200 bottles of Bollinger champagne and cordon bleu grub, with £50,000 spent on rare orchids to decorate the tables.

And the famously canny Beckhams will not pay a penny as mega-loaded financier Nelson, 79, has insisted on covering the whole event.

His £1.3billion fortune dwarfs the Beckhams’ £380million wad.

Victoria’s ex-Spice Girl bandmate Mel B has confirmed she is going while Emma Bunton and Mel C have also been invited to the celebrity wedding of the year.

Rumours were also swirling last night that pop superstar Bruno Mars has been lined up as a secret special act while rapper Snoop Dogg is also said to be performing.

Brooklyn Beckham has touched the heart of his fiancée Nicola Peltz by getting a tattoo tribute to her late grandmother, Gina.

The 22-year-old celebrity offspring of David and Victoria Beckham made the sweet gesture to mark the 27th birthday of his soon-to-be wife, the billionaire heiress Nicola, who hails from New York.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, both Brooklyn and Nicola celebrated the fact that he had got some fresh ink forever inscribed on his skin.

One snap showed that Brooklyn had got the name ‘Gina’ tattooed on his arm – a sentiment that Nicola branded the: “Best birthday gift”.

Back in January 2020, Nicola shared her devastation as Gina passed away.

Uploading photographs to her main Instagram feed, the American actress said she had lost her ‘guardian angel’.

Meghan Markle and a friend of the Duchess posted photos on Instagram just as Princess Kate was making her return to public life at Trooping the Colour, sparking claims they were trying to steal the limelight.

Meghan Markle has been accused of trying to steal the limelight from Princess Kate’s triumphant return to official royal duties at Trooping the Colour. Kate returned to the public eye on Saturday months after the world learned of her cancer diagnosis.

A second pic showed his dog, Nina Iggy, sat next to a jar filled with treats, with a label which appeared to be written by Meghan.

The jam label read “2 of 2”, suggesting Mr Figueras was one of only two people to receive a jar. Meghan’s previous batch of strawberry jam totalled just 50 and was given to the Duchess’s friends and celebrities.

Meghan announced her new lifestyle brand in March, dropping a 16 second long video on Instagram which showed the Duchess cooking, arranging flowers and strolling around her home in Montecito, California.

Prof Pauline Maclaran, a marketing and consumer research professor at Royal Holloway, University of London, told the BBC Meghan looked as if she was trying to lean into a “more domestic goddess kind of market” with the rebrand.

She suggested Meghan was trying to position herself as the next Nigella Lawson or Martha Stewart.

With the announcement of the new venture earlier this year, the absence of its official launch to date has set tongues wagging, with speculation Meghan is struggling to find the right staff.

Abesi Manyando, author and founder of the public relations and branding development firm Abesi PR, told Express.co.uk even when brands issue teasers, they may not release for up to a year later.

She added: “Meghan’s global popularity continues to increase especially in America and Africa despite royal experts’ criticism.

“To the rest of the world she is very much a royal and especially in America this will always give her a high degree of relevancy.”

 

Victoria Beckham is said to be giving daughter Harper a crash course in how be a successful A-Lister – but it seems talent has nothing to do with her plans.

The 49-year-old former Spice Girl is proud mother to 12-year-old Harper as well as sons Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20 and 19-year-old Cruz – who she shares with 48-year-old husband David. Over the years, Brooklyn and the boys have been ruthlessly mocked for being nothing more than nepo babies who are devoid of any talent and exist in the spotlight for no reason more than the fact they have famous parents.

And it seems what’s good enough for the boys is good enough for daughter Harper – who is being trained in A List conversational skills, how to dress well and little else. According to a report, Victoria is desperately trying to mould Harper into a well spoken, well dressed young woman.

However, her plans have a very noticeable lack of any worldly, useful or beneficial skills. According to Heat magazine, Vicky is including Harps in more of her social media posts in the hopes people will become regarded has as a notable influencer.

And the Beckham family have been including their daughter in major events – like attending Inter Miami matches and going out for dinner with stars like Lionel Messi – in the hope of boosting her star wattage. It is said to be all part of a master plan to make Harper the next ‘It’ girl of the Instagram generation.

A source told the magazine: “This has been a coming-of-age summer for Harper – and a little bit of a celebrity bootcamp too. She’s no longer a little girl – she’s maturing fast and is full of talk about what plans she has. Harper feels she’s ready to start doing things, while David and Vic are trying to figure out how to best handle her ambitions.”

What those ambitions are, however, are not included in Heat’s report – but they do go on to provide more superficial and vacuous details of Vicky’s master plan. They report: “Part of that prep is making sure she’s confident around other celebs and can hold her own in conversations, as well as starting to form relationships of her own.”

And it seems fans of Victoria – who has long been regarded as the weakest member of the Spice Girls due to her poor vocal and dance skills, and has even admitted herself she can’t design any clothes despite running a fashion label – can expect Harper to be a near carbon copy of her mother.

The report stated: “[Victoria] very much sees herself in Harper, and so respects that she will have her own path and style. Instead of just buying her everything, she does big shopping days, where she can teach her about style and introduce her to all the stylists and VIP organisers. Harper already knows way more than is standard, which is all part of VB’s training to make sure she is primed for this.”

The Beckhams have struggled to help their children gain any prospects in the real world. Brooklyn has failed as a photographer, chef, model and musician, but Romeo seems to be building a career as a footballer by playing for Brentford. While Cruz had a stab at being a musician when he released a Christmas song in 2016 and is said to be developing his music ambitions further with a string of music producers.

Selena took to Instagram to Tuesday to tease that she was staying over at Brooklyn and Nicola’s home. She shared a photo of a note that she had seemingly been left, writing in her caption about it: “When you stay at besties house.” The handwritten note had read: “I love you! If you need anything wake us up!” Selena didn’t confirm who had written the note, though she tagged both Brooklyn and Nicola in her post. Brooklyn then shared it on his Instagram Story.

Her visit came amid Nicola’s birthday on Tuesday, with Selena having marked the special occasion after posting about the note. She shared a photo of the pair together at a gathering, writing alongside it: “Happy birthday angel”. Brooklyn – who is the eldest child of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham – also paid tribute to his wife on her birthday. He accompanied a photo of Nicola with a caption in which he expressed gratitude over being her husband.

Brooklyn Beckham has sensationally revealed that he has never been professionally taught how to cook, despite opening his first restaurant in just a few days.

According to the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, 24, who is married to billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz, he attributes his culinary skills to watching cooking masterclasses.

In a recent interview he said: “Unfortunately, I’ve never done, like, a cooking class, but I’m obsessed with watching MasterClass [online classes with experts in their field].” In the interview, Brooklyn who ferries between Los Angeles, Miami and London added that he has “always” loved cooking.

He told The Times: “I’ve always loved that. I’ve been lucky enough to do videos and hang out with all these different types of chefs, learning different things, like [the renowned US baker] Nancy Silverton, who is one of my favourite chefs. She’s a really cool person.”

Brooklyn has been the subject of ridicule from jumping from one profession to another as he struggled to find what made him happy. As a youngster, the aspiring chef started playing for the youth team of Arsenal FC but following in his father’s footsteps was not meant to be.

He then entered the world of fashion, similar to that of his mother Victoria, as he welcomed a career as a fashion model. He then thought photography was better suited to him and joined the Parsons School of Design in New York. But he quit after less than a year as he reportedly felt homesick.

However, since lockdown it looks as though he found his true calling with posting videos of himself cooking. In 2021, encouraged by his loving wife, he posted videos for his two million Instagram followers and this led to Cookin’ With Brooklyn, a Facebook and Instagram series of eight-minute episodes. This showed viewers how to carve a hole in a £800 cheese wheel.

Each film reportedly cost £100,000 to create. But due to his persistence, Brooklyn is set to open up his first pop-up restaurant and has teamed up with Uber Eats. Fans in London will be able to order Brooklyn’s meals to their home using the food delivery app. But this will only be available for a limited time as his kitchen open on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 January between the hours of 5pm and 10pm.

And there is a also a limited menu which consists of only five items. And this includes his “Nanny Peggy English Breakfast sandwich” and also a 12-hour slow cooked bolognese. In a statement he said: “My Nanny Peggy taught me how to make her English Breakfast sandwich when I was 5, and it’s been my favourite ever since. I’ve always been into trying different foods, cuisines, and cultures, but that was one of my earliest memories of loving cooking.”

He added: “Spending time in the kitchen is definitely something me and my dad bond over… even though I think I make my English Breakfast sandwich better, he does make a pretty good one!” Other dishes include a Chinese-style pork and prawn dumplings, and chicken tikka masala which is £15. He He added: “Ordering an Indian takeaway is the most British thing to do, it’s something I grew up with, with my mum and dad in Sawbridgeworth [also known as Beckingham Palace].”

He went on to say: “Spaghetti bolognese is probably my favourite thing to cook. It’s my wife’s favourite thing that I cook. I’ve been doing it for so many years. It means a lot to me just because my dad taught me how to make it when he was playing for AC Milan and we all went out there for a couple of months. It reduces down for 12 hours and smells out the whole house.”

Over recent years, there has been talk of Brooklyn being a nepo-baby. But hitting back at those claims, Brooklyn told the publication: “I don’t do photography any more, I just take photos of my wife. I always wish them well, the haters. I’m just doing what I love doing, staying healthy, being happy, and that’s what it is. There are always going to be people out there who try and pull you down.”

And speaking about his “death-row meal”, the online cook said it had to be “probably pie and mash with liquor, jellied eels.” When asked if he actually liked jellied eels, he replied: “They’re OK, I’m not obsessed with them. I much prefer the mash.” Another of his favourites dishes is another UK favourite, fish and chips – and he prefers his chips to be chunky. He continued: “Chunky! All of my mates in LA are, like, ‘I don’t know how you eat those fries that are so thick’. I say: ‘You don’t understand.’ The best in England is when you go on the street and you find one of those guys who was selling the chips out of the newspaper with a bunch of vinegar and a bunch of salt.”

The aspiring chef, 24, has been focusing on improving his culinary skills in recent years and shared endless videos of his recipes with fans on social media. However, the former photographer received a lot of criticism over his cooking techniques and fans often share their thoughts in the comment section of his videos.

He was relentlessly mocked for some of his dishes like his sausage sandwich and a pasta recipe made with shop-bought sauce. In 2021, encouraged by his loving wife, he shared videos for his two million Instagram followers and it quickly led to Cookin’ With Brooklyn, a Facebook and Instagram series of eight-minute episodes.

One video showed viewers how to carve a hole in a £800 cheese wheel. In a recent interview, Brooklyn admitted he learned how to cook from his father David Beckham. Victoria previously admitted she grew up on microwave meals and mainly only eats grilled fish or meat with vegetables.

Brooklyn previously discussed the hate he receives on his food videos. The star insisted he wasn’t fazed by the negative feedback he gets on his cooking videos. Speaking to Insider, he shared: “To be honest, I’m used to the hate. It doesn’t really bother me. Cooking makes me happy. I have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me.”

Brooklyn also said people can continue writing what they want to write and he will continue posting cooking videos. He added: “My message to them is to keep writing whatever they want to write. There are always going to be people out there who try and pull you down.

“I’m doing my thing and working my bum off. So they can keep writing what they want, but it’s not going to bother me — I’m just going to keep doing my thing.” Brooklyn first started showing off his cooking prowess in July 2021 when he posted a time-lapse video which showed him cooking a steak quesadilla.

He followed up the quesadilla video a few days later with uploads showing him cooking two different pasta dishes – a spicy tomato one and a pesto pasta meal. Meanwhile, fans in London will be able to order Brooklyn’s culinary delights to the door as he has teamed with Uber Eats to have meals delivered.

But this will be available for a limited time only as his kitchen will only be open on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 January between the hours of 5pm and 10pm.
