David Beckham to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame after Netflix documentary

David Beckham is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has revealed the honourees selected for the tribute on the iconic Hollywood Boulevard next year and the England star, 49, who was worried his image was going to suffer a blow to his image following the release of his Netflix documentary Beckham last year, is included.

The documentary was in fact so well-received globally that months after it aired Hollywood has now officially acknowledged the football icon.

He joins other big name honourees in 2025, including legendary singer Prince, who died in 2016 age 57, American punk rock band Green Day – whose members are Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool, and Mike Dirnt – actress Jane Fonda, 86, and actor Alan Cumming, 58.

John Carpenter, Jessica Chastain, Bill Duke, Robert Englund, Emilio Estevez, Colin Farrell, Nia Long, Lisa Liu, Glynn Turman, and 101-year-old stuntwoman Toni Vaz, have also made the cut.

The television category will honour Fran Drescher, Lauren Graham, Bill Nye, Molly Shannon, Sherri Shepherd, Courtney B. Vance, Chris Wallace, and “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

While the honourees have been selected, they have two years to schedule their induction ceremony, usually with a hefty contribution fee in the tens of thousands, or the offer will expire.

“The Walk of Fame has made history again!” said Peter Roth, Chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee. “I am thrilled to announce the distinguished honourees who will grace the iconic Walk of Fame in the Class of 2025.”

Beckham and co are set to have individual ceremonies and the dates and timings for each will be announced 10 days before they happen.

She opened up about Victoria’s party after it was claimed she has “no bad blood” with her former ‘Desperate Housewives’ co-stars Teri Hatcher and Nicollette Sheridan.

The actress fuelled talk she was feuding with her fellow performers, 59 and 60 respectively, by not naming them in a list of stars from the ABC show with whom she still keeps in touch.

But an insider has now told Page Six: “(There is) no bad blood between (any of the co-stars.)

“(Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross) are just simply the ones (Eva) keeps in touch with.”

Eva had said when the Daily Mail asked with which castmates she still keeps in touch with: “I talk to Felicity all the time. I talk to Marcia a lot, but the one probably I talk to most is Ricardo (Chavira), my husband. And Jesse (Metcalfe.)”

Despite the insistence there is no feud, Eva has in the past said she was “bullied” by an unnamed co-worker on the set of ‘Desperate Housewives’.

In 2018, she did not mention ‘Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman’ actress Teri when asked with whom from “Desperate Housewives” she was still friendly.

It comes just days after Lady Colin warned Meghan “to be a lady not a hustler” on Good Morning Britain.

She said the Duchess of Sussex, 38, needs to “change her act” from being an actress to royal.

That’s because the more sharp-eyed observers noticed a signed top of Cristiano Ronaldo in his United days hanging up.

But it’s thought he supports Arsenal – leading to some online banter with his dad.

Romeo is the second oldest of Victoria and David’s four children. Oldest son Brooklyn, 23, dabbled with a football career before becoming a photographer and then a chef.

Insider sources reveal that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have opted to keep childcare within the family, with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, stepping into the role of babysitter.

Their decision comes after numerous unsuccessful experiences with professional caregivers over recent years, as reported by the Express.

An inside source revealed: “Harry and Meghan have employed various nannies in the past, but now that Doria has moved in with them, she’s stepped up to help with the kids.”

The Princess of Wales has been given a four-word warning over her Royal duties after undergoing abdominal surgery.

NHS psychiatrist Dr Max Pemberton praised Kate’s decision to take time off until Easter after Kensington Palace released a statement last week revealing she had undergone the surgery. As a result, the Palace said Kate would be taking time off from duties until Easter.

Dr Pemberton described the move as “incredibly sensible”, detailing the seriousness of abdominal surgeries saying she “must not rush back”. “We don’t know what’s wrong or why she needed the operation,” the psychiatrist said, writing in the Daily Mail.

“But Kate has always struck me as quite down-to-earth, level-headed and stoical, so I’m sure she wouldn’t have heeded medical advice and taken that much time off unless really necessary.” Giving examples of how serious such surgery can be, he added: “Of course, there’s always someone who will tell you how they had a hysterectomy in their lunch break, or their appendix removed while on the school run.

“But in reality we should all be taking a leaf out of Kate’s book and convalescing properly.” Highlighting the importance of proper recovery, Dr Pemberton warned: “We need to allow ourselves time to get both physically and mentally back up to speed. So many of us are guilty of rushing back to work too quickly.” Expressing his wishes, he prayed for Kate’s quick recovery.

The mum of three, Kate, 42, was taken to hospital last week. It was announced by Kensington Palace that the Princess of Wales had “planned abdominal surgery ” earlier this week.

The London Clinic, the biggest private hospital in the UK, was opened by Queen Elizabeth’s parents, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, back in 1932 when they were known as the Duke and Duchess of York.

It was unexpectedly announced last week that the Princess of Wales had undergone major abdominal surgery at a private hospital in London, and would be recovering for up to two weeks. Royal fans were dealt another blow when Buckingham Palace revealed King Charles would also be admitted to hospital to have a procedure on an enlarged prostate.

Harry, who lives thousands of miles away in Montecito, California, with wife Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, was said to be deeply upset over his sister-in-law’s operation, and both he and Meghan sent their well wishes in a private message. The Prince has been estranged from Princess Kate, brother Prince William and father King Charles since the Sussexes took part in an explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, and the rift was deepened when Harry released his memoir Spare last year.

Prince Harry was quick to share his jubilant mood with Ziggy Marley last night in Jamaica despite the current testing times for him within the Royal Family, a lip reader has revealed

A skilled lip reader has analysed a new video of Prince Harry at the new Bob Marley movie premiere, with it being revealed that the Duke was in a jubilant mood despite testing times with the Royal Family.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were seen having chatting to Bob Marley’s family last night when they attended the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love in Kingston, Jamaica. The couple were seen smiling and holding hands on the red carpet and Harry even posed for pictures with Ziggy Marley, the son of Bob and Rita Marley.

And now a video of the Duke of Sussex chatting to Ziggy has circulated online, with a lip reader revealing exclusively to The Mirror what the Prince told Bob Marley’s son as they leaned in for a sweet embrace.

” Prince Harry hugging Ziggy Marley in Jamaica,” one person penned on Twitter alongside a video clip of the two famous men. In the video, Harry can be seen leaning in to Ziggy, with the pair sharing an embrace while Harry grinned, chuckled and said something while smiling widely.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, lip reader Jeremy Freeman has revealed that Harry said: “We did have a great time. You rock Bob Marley!”

Commenting on the video – which had no audio – fans have reacted to Harry and Ziggy’s sweet moment at the premiere in Jamaica. One person wrote: “Love this,” while another said: “That’s what we like to see. Harry and Meghan out here living FREE.”

“He is having the best time of his life,” penned a third. A fourth then added: “Look at my man! Prince Harry! This is the look of happiness! So glad to see the Sussexes supporting Jamaica.” And a fifth said: “Harry is so comfortable and easy… Him and Ziggy gonna talk later.”

This comes as the world reacts to the Sussexes’ surprise red carpet appearance on Tuesday. The couple were seen holding hands while they were all smiles in Kingston. Meghan wore a black strapless ballgown-style dress with her hair slicked back and in a bun, meanwhile, Harry was wearing a black suit with a white collared shirt underneath his blazer.
