In a newly-released book, Lady Colin Campbell claims that Meghan Markle “played Prince Harry like a piano.”
According to this self-professed “royal biographer,” the Duchess of Sussex destroyed everything that the Duke of Sussex stood for, and he allowed it because he was so sick and in love.
Campbell is a known liar who has had an issue with Markle from the beginning — and her obsession with Markle is borderline creepy.

Lady Colin Campbell is at it again.

The sworn enemy of Meghan Markle has just released a statement swearing that the Duchess of Sussex not only “played Prince Harry like a piano,” but she single-handedly destroyed everything and anything he loved and stood for.

These accusations are bad enough on their own. But coming from a known liar like Campbell, they become particularly galling — and creepy.
Lady Colin CampbellThis sad woman clearly wants to be in the spotlight. | Source: Twitter

Are We Still Pushing This “Meghan Markle Is A Black Widow” Nonsense?

So-called “royal biographers” can’t seem to make up their minds. They alternate between claims of Meghan Markle being either the most powerful woman in the world — able to destroy an entire royal family by luring a minor royal away from his loving hearth and home — or she’s a jealous, petty weakling who wanted to be the Queen of England, then stomped off back to America when she didn’t get her way.

For Lady Colin Campbell — the woman who famously called Princess Diana a “fake victim ” and bullied a talk show host into “coming out ” long before he was ready to do so — the Duchess of Sussex is a combination of both these things. Just listen to the tale she spins :

She played Harry like a piano, hitting the right keys until she got everything she wanted. Very quickly on how Meghan was cutting a swathe through Harry’s social life, she didn’t approve of this, she didn’t approve of that, she is an operator.

And as you can see in the video below, Lady Colin Campbell loves trash-talking the Duchess of Sussex every time a camera lens is trained on her.

Well, Meghan Markle just sounds dreadful, doesn’t she?

There’s just one massive problem with Lady Colin Campbell’s claims.

However, all three main hosts were absent on Tuesday, leaving Lauren Laverne and Vernon Kay to take over.

The latest episode showcased a star-studded lineup including Daisy Edgar Jones, Glen Powell, and Anthony Ramos, who are currently starring in the new blockbuster Twisters.

They were joined by Alan Carr, who discussed the revival of the eighties sitcom Changing Ends. Alex is currently busy moving house for the first time in 11 years with her husband and children.

She has been keeping her 363,000 Instagram followers updated about her packing efforts as she prepares to move her family from their home of the last 11 years.

She told her followers: “This was emotional. After 11 years, we are moving house,” accompanied by a crying face emoji.

Back in April Alex took a break from The One Show, as she made an announcement.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a change to their son Archie’s birth certificate before parting ways with the royal family.

It’s come to light that The Sussexes quietly removed Meghan’s name from the document, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle scrubbing the Suits actress’s name from Archie’s birth certificate soon after he was born, reported The Mirror.

The Sussexes welcomed Archie, who is now five, into the world on May 6, 2019. His full name is Archibald Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

It is believed they named him Archibald after Archibald Campbell, 9th Earl of Argyll, an important figure in Scottish history who was also an ancestor of Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana.

They registered his birth on May 17. Yet only a few weeks later, the royal couple amended their details on the birth certificate.

Originally, the certificate referred to Harry as “His Royal Highness Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex” and Meghan as “Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex”.

After being amended on June 5, Archie’s birth certificate dropped “Rachel Meghan” from the Duchess’s title and referred to her only as “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex”.

Meghan was born Rachel Meghan Markle, but goes by her middle name professionally. The former actress and Harry recently made them and their two children’s official surname Sussex, with a source telling The Times they did so to “unify” the family.

Harry and Meghan with their son Archie and daughter Lilibet in their 2021 Christmas Card.Harry and Meghan with their son Archie and daughter Lilibet in their 2021 Christmas Card.

Harry and Meghan were married in May 2018 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, about one year before Archie was born.

After they tied the knot, their relationship with the royal family became increasingly difficult, generating many headlines and speculation.

At the end of June 2019, Harry and Meghan announced they would split from their joint charity with Prince William and Princess Kate. Called the Royal Foundation, the two brothers founded the charity together in 2009 as a vehicle for their charitable endeavours.

The pair officially “stepped back” as senior members of the royal family and announced their intention to move to California in January 2020, a shock move that created searing divisions in the royal family and was coined “Megxit” by royal commentators.

Although the Sussexes have not addressed the reason behind the amendment to Archie’s birth certificate, The Sun reported that it may have been done as a “snub” to the Prince and Princess of Wales amid the fallout between the two princely brothers and their partners.

William and Kate’s children – George, 10, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6 – all have their mother’s name included on their birth certificate.

The paper also suggested that Harry may have wanted Meghan to follow in the footsteps of his own mother, Princess Diana, who went by the title of “Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales”.

Several people familiar with the royals shared their thoughts on the matter with The Sun, including the Queen’s ex-press secretary Dickie Arbiter, who said the amendment could’ve been “an early part of their plan”.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward told the paper: “For a royal to change a birth certificate is unprecedented but to remove forenames is remarkable.

“Perhaps this is another sign they were desperate to do something different to the Cambridges.”

“It is extraordinary and raises all kinds of questions about what the Sussexes were thinking,” remarked Lady Colin Campbell, a British Jamaican socialite and royal commentator who first discovered the amendment.

Royal family birth certificates are always closely watched for hidden messages, signs of family rifts and status quo rebellion, and members of the public have learned a great deal from these documents.

For example, Princess Charlotte’s birth certificate detailed her full name as, “Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge,” revealing that the name of the Wales’ second-born paid tribute to her late grandmother and great-grandmother.

Prince William allegedly gave Prince Harry a four-word response after he found out Meghan Markle was pregnant with Prince Archie.

The Duke of Sussex wrote about the incident in 2018 in his memoir  Spare.

In October of that year, just months after their lavish wedding back in May, the couple decided to announce the happy news to the family at Princess Eugenie’s wedding with Jack Brooksbank.

Harry claimed that they were are at the reception in St George’s Hall in Windsor when he made the announcement to his older brother.

He wrote: “We were in a big room, suits of armour on the walls. Strange room, strange moment.”

According to the prince, as soon as he told William, the heir to the throne smiled and said “we must tell Kate”.

The duke wrote about the Princess of Wales’s reaction: “She also gave a big smile and hearty congratulations. They both reacted exactly as I hoped – as I’d wished.”

Harry also revealed that King Charles was “delighted” when he and Meghan told him the joyous news.

He wrote: “Just before a drink reception for the bride and groom, we cornered Pa in his study.

“He was delighted to learn that he was going to be a grandfather for a fourth time; his wide smile warmed me.”

Prince Archie was born on May 6, 2019 at the Portland Hospital in London.

Since then, Harry and Meghan have welcomed a second child, Princess Lilibet, who was born at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California, on June 4, 2021.

Speaking in a candid interview about her career, the 65-year-old Chaser admitted the desire to be famous is her “filthy little secret”, and something she’s always wanted.

Anne first found fame as The Governess on The ITV quiz show The Chase after joining the TV series in 2010.

The Chase star Anne Hegerty always wanted to be famous

During a 2019 interview with The Sun on Sunday, Anne confessed: “My filthy little secret is that I’ve always wanted to be famous and I don’t get nervous being on TV!”

Anne’s first brush with fame was as a contestant on Mastermind in 1987, although back then, The Governess’ skills weren’t up to scratch and she admitted: “I didn’t do terribly well on the show, but I joined Mastermind Club.”

Finding the club ‘dull and boring’ Anne worked her way to the Grand Prix quiz circuit. It was during this time as a quizzer that she met fellow Chaser Mark Labbett, 53, otherwise known as The Beast. It was through Mark that Anne heard about an opening for a female Chaser on the show.

The timing couldn’t have been better with Anne struggling financially at the time and relying on benefits to get by. Anne admitted that it felt like “everything up to that moment had been the hard work”.

The fame game isn’t, though. While some people struggle with fame, Anne enjoys every moment, saying: “I loved the stardom. I paid off the mortgage, bought a new car and some jewellery too.”

Anne’s a celeb – and she loves it!

Her popularity on The Chase led to Anne jetting off to Australia for the 2108 series of I’m a Celebrity….

The series made headlines because, in a change to the normal format, it was hosted by Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby. Holly stepped in for Ant McPartlin while he took a year off from TV after his arrest for drink-driving.

During her time in camp Anne endured a number of gruesome tasks, drinking blended fish eyes and eating witchetty grubs to win stars. Anne was the fifth celebrity to be voted off the show, before Harry Redknapp was crowned King of the Jungle.

The Prince’s real name is not, in fact, Harry – despite that being what he has always been called both publicly and privately.

    Prince Harry

Prince Harry’s ‘real name’ has been revealed, with the Duke of Sussex himself recently joking about the confusion surrounding it.

The prince’s real name isn’t actually Harry. His birth name is quite different and not widely known.

The Duke of Sussex’s full name is, in fact, Prince Henry Charles Albert David.

He also doesn’t have a last name as such. He goes by either Sussex or Mountbatten-Windsor and went by Wales as a child and young man.

Although we’ve always known him as Harry, in his official documents and during formal events, his birth name Henry is used.

For instance, when Kensington Palace announced his engagement, they referred to him as “His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales”. The notice said the royal “and Ms. Meghan Markle are engaged to be married”.

    Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Even Harry himself has had a laugh about his name confusion. At the recent WellChild Awards, he engaged in a bit of banter and said: “My name is Henry, but everyone calls me Harry. I have no idea.”

He was responding to a little boy named Henry who was curious about the name choice, reports The Mirror.

The reason why we call him Harry instead of Henry remains somewhat of mystery. But Metro explains that the name Henry comes from the Old French Henri.

During medieval times, the English started using Harry as a common nickname for Henry, which even applied to Kings like Henry VIII. While Harry sustains numerous titles and uses them as needed.

According to the Telegraph, during his military service, he was recognised as Captain Harry Wales, owing to Charles’s status as the Prince of Wales at the time.

But, if required, “Mountbatten-Windsor” is another option, as declared by the Queen for any Royal Family member in need of a last name.

Interestingly, Meghan Markle has more in her name than what we know. Her actual name is Rachel Meghan Markle, with Rachel being the same first name as her breakthrough character on Suits.

Nevertheless, Meghan prefers her middle name professionally, which is now globally accepted.

Following Prince Archie’s birth in 2019, the birth certificate registered Harry, officially known as “His Royal Highness Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex”, and Meghan as “Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex.

However, a shift was noticeable a month after Archie’s birth when “Rachel Meghan” was omitted from the Duchess title, referring only to “Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex.”

Recently, an insider shared with The Times that Meghan and Harry designated Sussex as the official surname for their family of four to create unity.

The royal rift between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took a dramatic turn around Meghan’s 40th birthday, sparking a heated confrontation at their California mansion. Reports suggest that the altercation led to Harry abruptly leaving in the middle of the night, heading back to the UK for a scheduled royal event.

Meghan reportedly expressed frustrations with the royal family, particularly towards King Charles, and Harry’s attempt to defend his father escalated into a heated argument, with Meghan allegedly scratching Harry in anger. Despite the tensions, Harry remains determined to spend more time in the UK, hoping to establish a permanent residence for himself, Meghan, and their children, Archie and Lilibet.

Royal author Tom Quinn noted Harry’s efforts to secure a lasting home in the UK, including ongoing legal efforts for taxpayer-funded security during their visits. While Harry aims for reconciliation with his family, Meghan supports his pursuit of peace but fears it may not resolve existing tensions. Concerns have been raised about the fallout from Harry’s direct approach, with fears it could strain relations further rather than heal them. Despite these challenges, Harry remains steadfast in his commitment to mend fences, believing direct confrontation is key to genuine reconciliation, even as it risks further friction with Meghan.

The aftermath of the birthday clash has left its mark on their relationship, highlighting the deep divisions over Harry’s efforts to reconcile with his family. As Harry prepares for his upcoming trip to the UK, the couple faces an uncertain future, with questions lingering about whether his efforts will bring them closer together or deepen the divide between him and Meghan. The ongoing royal drama continues to captivate the public, awaiting the outcome of this modern-day saga.

Prince Harry will appear in a new documentary about phone hacking, ITV has announced.

The Duke of Sussex has sat down with reporter Becca Barry where he discussed his aim to expose what he describes as “illegal activities of Britain’s tabloid newspapers”.

The show, which also features Hugh Grant, Charlotte Church and Paul Gascoigne, and is titled “Tabloids on Trial”, will air on ITV1 on July 25 at 9pm.

The Duke of Sussex declared war against the British media long before he and wife Meghan Markle stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.

Harry has brought a total of six cases against the media over the last few years.

The royal has blamed UK tabloids for intruding his life and hounding his wife as well as his mother, the late Princess of Wales.

He has also accused the press and the Government of being at “rock bottom”, “corrupt” and “biased”.

In a witness statement for his High Court privacy case against MGN last year, Harry said in a written statement: “In my view, in order to save journalism as a profession, journalists need to expose those people in the media that have stolen or highjacked the privileges and powers of the press, and have used illegal or unlawful means for their own gain and agendas.

“I feel that I need to make sure that this unlawful behaviour is exposed, because obviously I don’t want anybody else going through the same thing that I’ve been going through on a personal level.

“But also on a national level as, at the moment, our country is judged globally by the state of our press and our Government – both of which I believe are at rock bottom.”

During his infamous Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021, Harry also said: “If the source of the information is inherently corrupt or racist or biased, then that filters out to the rest of society.”

England manager Gareth Southgate appears to have made a decision on his squad for the match as he hopes to replicate the success of last Saturday’s game.

His team’s success last weekend was watched keenly by William who reacted with fist-pumping and cheering as he watched his beloved England progress to the semi-finals.

It initially looked like England would be crashing out of the Euros following Switzerland’s goal towards the end of the match, however, Bukayo Saka equalised in the 80th minute sending the crowds into a frenzy.

It is hoped that Princess Kate will be well enough to attend the finals at Wimbledon this weekend, but there is a back-up plan in place.

Whereas, Princess Kate’s possible replacement to present the winner’s trophies at Wimbledon has been revealed, and it’s someone many royal fans might not recognise.

As patron of the All England Club the Princess of Wales has presented trophies to the tennis champions since 2016, but her ongoing cancer treatment has raised questions over whether she will feel well enough to do so this weekend.

Kate has only made one public appearance so far this year, at Trooping the Colour last month, but if she is unavailable the Duchess of Gloucester is being lined up to present the awards, according to The Telegraph.

All England Club Chair Debbie Jevans told the publication that officials at Wimbledon would remain “flexible” on arrangements, with a final decision on presenting duties not expected to be made until the morning of the women’s final on Saturday.

Kensington Palace has not confirmed any engagements for the Princess in the foreseeable future as she continues to receive preventative chemotherapy.

A fortnight ago Ms Jevans said she was “hopeful” that the Princess would be at Wimbledon, however it has been reported that during informal discussions the Duchess had emerged as a replacement candidate.

The Duchess of Gloucester was born in Denmark and was known as Birgitte van Deurs Henriksen before she married Prince Richard, the Duke of Gloucester in 1972.

She is equally as big a tenns fan as Kate and has been an Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association for 25 years, having already been spotted at the tournament as a guest of the All England Club last week.

Prince William will be unavailable to present the trophies as he is likely to be in Germany for the final of Euro 2024, with England set to play the Netherlands in the semi-final on Wednesday.

As President of the FA William has been cheering his beloved England on for many matches as the royal summer of sport reaches its climax this weekend.

It is hugely important for Wimbledon to have royal support, with the potential optics of the Princess handing a trophy over to a Russian player said to be part of the reason tennis players from Russia were banned following the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Ms Jevans previously said: “We’re hopeful that the Princess of Wales will be able to present the trophies as the Club’s patron, but her health and recovery is the priority.

“We don’t know what we don’t know. All we’ve said is that we’ll work with her and give her as much flexibility as possible.

“I don’t know who would present the trophies as an alternative – that’s something to consider nearer the time if necessary. We’re staying flexible. When we hear we’ll then think about what’s the right thing to do.”

Even if Kate cannot attend her parents Carole and Michael Middleton were spotted enjoying the matches on Centre Court last week.

Earlier, Kate Middleton rejoined Prince William in public engagements for the first time since revealing her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

In a joint post with Prince William, the Princess of Wales, 41, highlighted mental health issues affecting young farmers. The royal couple shared their project on X (formerly Twitter) through the Kensington Royal account, stating: “This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we’ve brought together the inspirational Sam Stables from We Are Farming Minds and the brilliant Farmer Will for a very special film.” They noted the importance of discussing mental health within the farming community and highlighted the Duchy of Cornwall’s Mental Health Strategy.

Although Princess Catherine does not appear in the video, her involvement in its production alongside Prince William is evident. The project began before her illness, showcasing her longstanding commitment to mental health advocacy. The public last heard from the Princess in a moving video where she requested privacy as she began preventative chemotherapy. This announcement in March followed speculation regarding her absence after planned abdominal surgery in January. Initially not thought to be cancerous, a subsequent diagnosis confirmed the presence of the disease.
