Meghan mackle and Harry finally apologized to Kate Middleton for spoiling her image after cancer….

According to reports, Meghan Markle is looking to make amends with Kate Middleton after a year of turmoil for the royal family. Markle appears to be attempting to warm up their relationship despite the fact that their relationship has always been somewhat cold, as Prince Harry documented in “Spare.”

Meghan wishes to reconcile with Kate and holds no ill will towards her, a source informed In Touch regarding Markle’s desire to mend their relationship. Despite Middleton being a huge “Suits” fan, the two women have never really gotten along, which has led to ongoing tension. The two couples reportedly shouted at one another during a meeting meant to clear the air, as Harry wrote in “Spare.” During that meeting, Middleton was disturbed by Markle’s comments about her dealing with baby brain after Middleton mixed up some details about Harry and Meghan’s wedding rehearsal and flower girl dresses. Middleton had given birth to Prince Louis about a month before the wedding.

The In Touch source mentioned that Meghan’s friends say she regrets how things turned out and that she never meant any harm to Kate. They believe she could have handled things differently. Since Middleton’s cancer diagnosis was made public recently, Markle has been making a special effort to show concern for Kate during this difficult time, including sending advice on health and diet.

Middleton, on the other hand, is said to be polite towards her sister-in-law but has not exactly encouraged or embraced Meghan, according to the source.

CBN reported, quoting royal insiders, that Meghan Markle wants to repair her relationship with Princess Kate, regretting the recent quarrels within the royal family. The Duchess of Sussex now aims to avoid any animosity. She and Princess Kate were last seen together in 2022 at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Meghan’s friends say she regrets how things turned out and never meant any harm to Kate but admits she could have handled things differently.

The royal insider mentioned that while Meghan wants to talk about their problems with the Windsor family, Prince Harry seems more ready to move on. Meghan feels really hurt and needs a face-to-face discussion to resolve things, but the other side isn’t open to this right now.

In a story filled with conflicting accounts, Meghan initially claimed Kate made her cry just days before her wedding to Prince Harry. However, in an Oprah Winfrey interview, she reversed this, stating she was wounded by Kate’s actions. According to Prince Harry’s memoir, Meghan was found in tears following a confrontation with Kate about bridesmaid dresses, where Kate raised an issue with Princess Charlotte’s dress.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to Montecito, California, in 2020, where they worked on various projects that highlighted the ongoing tensions within the royal family. Both their six-part Netflix documentary and their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey provided significant insights into the rift. However, these high-profile endeavors have further strained their relationship with the Royals.

Prince Harry is expected to publicly apologize for the hurt caused by his revealing memoir “Spare” to facilitate reconciliation. Despite this, a royal expert suggests that Harry might be planning to publish a second memoir once his estranged brother, Prince William, becomes king after their father, King Charles III.

ITV’s Loose Women has sparked a bit of a stir as veteran panellist Janet Street-Porter celebrated her 1000th episode, leaving viewers with mixed feelings.

On Monday, July 8, host Christine Lampard led the tribute alongside Coleen Nolan and Linda Robinson, reminiscing over Janet’s unforgettable moments since she first graced the show in 2011. Janet’s tenure on the panel has been nothing short of iconic, filled with candid confessions about her four marriages, her beloved pooch Badger, and her penchant for quality time away from the limelight.

The trio delved into Janet’s most talked-about segments, including her frank discussions about her past relationships and her furry friend. However, it was the memory of Janet donning a hot dog costume that really seemed to leave an impression, albeit awkwardly, on the ladies.

Janet herself didn’t hold back, revealing her distaste for the outfit and her general aversion to dressing up in costumes.

Post-commercial break, the audience was treated to a surprise as all four presenters appeared in hot dog outfits, a playful homage to Janet’s past on-screen antics. In a heartfelt declaration of camaraderie, Christine exclaimed, “We’re doing this for you, Janet because we love you! ” much to the delight of everyone involved, reports the Mirror.

Yet the zaniness didn’t cease there. Later, they additionally enlisted an Elton John tribute act to serenade Janet towards the conclusion of the show.

However, amidst all the uproar, some spectators were left unimpressed and flocked to X (previously known as Twitter) to voice their thoughts. One viewer spoke up: “Hot dog panel. All time low. Cringe to the max.”

Another nonplussed spectator questioned: “What the fresh hell is this? ” While a third fan shared a gif labeled with the word “embarrassing”.

A further disenchanted observer chimed in: “The show has been dumbed down for over a decade with poor content and scripted unexciting women. Same old, same old. The show needs to move up and not treat lunchtime viewings as dumbed-down television.”

Yet in spite of the criticism, several fans revelled in the fun-filled content available. One watcher highlighted: “Elton John impersonator TERRIFIC! “.

While another offered: “Stop complaining about the people on loose women and what they say. Just deal with it.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s ‘graceless’ behaviour would have ‘appalled’ the late Princess Diana, according to Lady Colin Campbell.

The royal biographer, 69, who has published three books about the British Royal Family, claimed the Duke, 34, and Duchess of Sussex, 38, ‘trot out the charm when it suits them’ but are ‘otherwise graceless’.

She went on to slam Meghan’s behaviour as showing a ‘lack of understanding and appreciation’ of her royal position.

Speaking to Woman magazine, the Jamaican-born socialite said: ‘Diana would be appalled, she had enough nous to know when to put on a show.

‘She was very aware of how important it was to be gracious, while Meghan – and Harry to an extent – trot out the charm when it suits them, but otherwise are graceless.’

She added: ‘Her behaviour shows a lack of understanding and appreciation of what being royal is. I’m not sure who she thinks she is behaving this way.’

Lady Colin also went on to claim Meghan and Harry are ‘depriving’ royal fans by being ‘pretentious’.

It comes just days after she warned Meghan can’t ‘hustle her way to the top’ as she did when she was an actress in Suits.

While she claimed she is ‘rooting’ for the Duchess, she also said she has an ‘awful feeling’ about her future if she doesn’t change her ways.

She told Good Morning Britain on Monday that Meghan needs to differentiate between how to behave as a celebrity and a member of the royal family.

Lady Colin said: ‘I have an awful feeling that Meghan needs to understand things she doesn’t yet understand.

‘Like there is a massive difference between being a celebrity, hustling your way from the bottom to the top, and she was a very proud hustler.

‘She used to use the word hustle for herself and her first husband, very proudly.’

‘Being a royal; you don’t hustle, the values, embodiment is completely different, she’s sorted, she’s got it, I think she needs to now embrace it and understand it’s a new game in town. She’s an actress, she needs to come up with a new act!’

And last month, Lady Colin hit out at Meghan for ‘acting like a celebrity’ by guest editing the September issuer of British Vogue.

She told Closer magazine: ‘She was never an A-lister, so she needs to stop acting like one.’

‘Royalty do not behave like celebrities do. It’s cheap, vulgar and irresponsible.’

The royal biographer, who claimed to be a confidante of Princess Diana, went on to say that Meghan was ‘letting down’ those who admire her by behaving in this way.

Meghan Markle told her PR team that she wanted to be the ‘most famous person on the planet’ before she and Harry quit the Royal Family, Lady Colin Campbell claims

Meghan Markle told advisers that she wanted to be the ‘most famous person on the planet’ before she and Harry quit the Royal Family, a biographer of the couple has claimed.

Lady Colin Campbell – author of Meghan and Harry: The Real Story – says that in the year before the dramatic split the American actress had – with her’s husband’s help – been pursuing commercial and political activities traditionally out of bounds to the royals.

According to the author, this included the Duchess of Sussex telling her PR team that her ambition was to be the best known celebrity in the world, a mission that could only be realised by being ‘controversial’.

Speaking on to Graham Norton on his Radio 2 Saturday morning show, Lady Colin Campbell said: ‘I started writing that book because last year I knew privately that Meghan – with Harry’s connivance was getting up to all sorts of things in America that she was completely forbidden from doing as a royal.

‘Getting involved with commercial enterprises, flying kites in terms of politics, because she ‘s very political, and also instructing her PR people that they were to make her into the most famous person on earth.

‘To be the most famous person on earth, it’s a very deliberate policy and it has to involve a tremendous amount of controversy, otherwise you’re just not that famous.’

Lady Colin Campbell added that when they learned that she was writing about them, the couple tried to intervene.

‘They did try to influence the narrative through mutual friends,’ she said.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attend the Commonwealth Day Service 2020 at Westminster Abbey on March 9, 2020 in London

It comes after the Jamaican-born writer previously claimed Meghan Markle’s relationship with the Royal Family started to show ‘warning’ signs just four days after she married Prince Harry.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot in a ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on May 19 2018.

However, the royal author, claimed that Meghan became the hot topic of conversation at a dinner held at her house at Castle Goring, Worthing in Sussex, just days after the wedding.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the author claimed Meghan did something that ‘astonished’ an attendee with ‘impeccable palace connections’ at Prince Charles’ 70th birthday.

‘Something happened there on the Tuesday, and I was told about it on the Wednesday evening at dinner by a household name with impeccable palace connections,’ she claimed.

  • Lady Colin Campbell claims Princess Anne is royal accused by Harry and Meghan of asking about ‘Archie’s skin colour’

Lady Colin Campbell claims Princess Anne is royal accused by Harry and Meghan of asking about ‘Archie’s skin colour’

Lady Colin Campbell claims Princess Anne is royal accused by Harry and Meghan of asking about ‘Archie’s skin colour’ – but she insists it was actually a misunderstanding about ‘culture’

Lady Colin Campbell today claimed that Princess Anne is the royal Meghan and Harry accused of racism in their bombshell interview with Oprah – but insisted the Queen’s daughter was completely misunderstood by the Sussexes.

The Jamaican-born British socialite, 71, claims that the Princess Royal has concerns about the suitability of Meghan and whether she would have ‘respect’ for the Royal Family – but this had nothing to do with her being mixed-race.

The Sussexes have claimed a relative of Harry’s said there were ‘concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born’ and how ‘dark’ he would be. Lady C claims it was Princess Anne.

But the couple refused to name the alleged culprit in an interview watched by more than 50million people worldwide, saying it would be too damaging to the person they were accusing of racism.

She said: ‘Harry decided that on the slimmest of hints about culture – that it referred to colour.

‘She [Anne] had concerns about the disastrous effects of allowing somebody of that ilk, character wise, into the family, would not only cause trouble for all of them but also for any child born of the union’.

Lady C added: ‘Harry ran to Meghan with the objections, Meghan weaponised them on the grounds of colour. We are looking at people who are very eager to spot a slight where doubtless none exist’.

Buckingham Palace has declined to comment on the claims today. MailOnline has also approached the Sussexes for comment.

Lady Colin has told her own podcast, 'Chatting with Lady C', that the Sussexes were pointing the finger at Princess Anne, unfairly, because she was concerned about Meghan's suitability to join the family

They also suggested that they tried to deprive Archie of a title and security because he was of mixed race.

Archbishop of Canterbury destroys Harry and Meghan’s wedding story: He says legal wedding WAS on the Saturday

The Archbishop of Canterbury has rejected the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s claim that he married them at a secret ceremony before their Windsor Castle wedding.

Breaking his silence on what the couple told Oprah Winfrey three weeks ago, Justin Welby said he signed Harry and Meghan’s wedding certificate on the day millions watched them marry.

The legal wedding was on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St George’s Chapel, he said. In her interview, Meghan raised eyebrows when she told Miss Winfrey that she and Harry were married ‘just the two of us in our backyard with the Archbishop of Canterbury’.

But the 65-year-old told an Italian newspaper yesterday: ‘The legal wedding was on the Saturday.’

He was asked ‘what happened with Meghan and Harry? Did you really marry them three days before the official wedding?’

But then he added: ‘I had a number of private and pastoral meetings with the duke and duchess before the wedding.

‘The legal wedding was on the Saturday. I signed the wedding certificate, which is a legal document, and I would have committed a serious criminal offence if I signed it knowing it was false.

‘So you can make what you like about it. But the legal wedding was on the Saturday. But I won’t say what happened at any other meetings.’

But Lady Colin has told her own podcast, ‘Chatting with Lady C’, that they were pointing the finger at Princess Anne, unfairly, and it was a misunderstanding in a discussion about the cultural differences between Brits and American.

Citing a royal insider, she said: ‘There were no concerns about Meghan’s colour. Princess Anne was rightly concerned that if the marriage proceeded and there were children there would be huge problems, not because of Meghan’s colour, but because of Meghan’s inability and determination to remain unable to appreciate the cultural differences’.

She added that Anne was concerned that Meghan may not ‘actually have respect for the institution in to which she was marrying, and the family in which she was marrying’.

‘Meghan and Harry have used that genuine concern of a loving aunt, knowing that because she is down to earth, experienced, modest, intelligent and sensible, and that you cannot make a sow’s ear into a silk purse.

‘Nobody is the guilty party in terms of racism. But Princess Anne was the champion in terms of ‘don’t marry that girl, she is unsuitable. She is wrong for the country, wrong for the job. Well, it’s turned out to be true.

‘I think it’s important that it is out there before it is weaponised by some anti-establishment, anti-monarchist organisation, who will spin things destructively to further their agenda.

‘I think there is a time to get in the first blow. I’ve met Princess Anne a few times, but we’re not friends’.

Previously the Queen responded to the Sussexes’ interview with a deeply personal message saying that while ‘some recollections vary’, the issues raised, particularly that of race, were ‘concerning’ and would be taken seriously.

Significantly, however, she emphasised that from now on their difficulties should be addressed by the family privately.

The couple made several explosive claims of racism within the Royal Family during the interview.

Oprah Winfrey asked whether there were concerns her child would be ‘too brown’ and that would be a problem. Meghan replied: ‘If that is the assumption you are making, that is a pretty safe one.’

Harry complained none of his relatives spoke out in support of Meghan after stories he claimed had ‘colonial undertones’ were published.

How Harry and Meghan faced ‘misinformation’ claims of their own after Oprah interview – and CBS was blasted over doctoring headlines

Harry and Meghan were repeatedly accused of spreading misinformation during their Oprah interview. Some of their claims were found about the Royal Family were found to be untrue, others have been contested.

The Duke of Sussexhas  joined a panel he claims will fight an ‘avalanche of misinformation’ online in the US.

Here are some of the couple’s claims to Oprah that have been dismissed over the past fortnight.

Harry and Meghan were actually secretly wed three days before the Windsor ceremony by the Archbishop of Canterbury

MailOnline has obtained the document which blows holes in the Sussexes' claims they were wed in a private hearing at Kensington Palace

MailOnline has obtained the document which blows holes in the Sussexes’ claims they were wed in a private hearing at Kensington Palace

Meghan told Oprah: ‘You know, three days before our wedding, we got married. No one knows that… We called the Archbishop and we just said, ‘Look, this thing, this spectacle is for the world but we want our union between us.’

    Fact check: False

Reality: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding certificate proves they did not get married three days before their Windsor Castle ceremony.

Church of England marriages require at least two witnesses and the public must also have unrestricted access to the building during any marriage ceremony to allow for valid objections against the marriage.

A couple who are already lawfully married cannot choose to re-marry each other, unless there is some doubt as to the validity of the earlier marriage.

The Archbishop of Canterbury has since confirmed that this was the case.

Archie has a birthright to be a prince

Meghan told Oprah the ‘idea of the first member of colour in this family, not being titled in the same way that other grandchildren would be… It’s not their right to take it away’

    Fact check: False

Reality: Archie did not have a birthright to be a prince, but could potentially become one when Charles accedes to the throne.

Archie wouldn’t get 24/7 security because he wasn’t a prince

Meghan told Oprah: ‘In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time, so we (had) the conversation of he won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title.’

    Fact check: False

Reality: Being a prince or princess does not automatically mean royals have police protection. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s security is no longer paid for by the taxpayer.

Harry was financially cut off from the royals

Harry told Oprah: ‘My family literally cut me off financially, and I had to afford security for us’

Fact check: They wanted to be financially independent

Reality: When Harry and Meghan announced their intention to step back from being senior royals, they said they wanted to be ‘financially independent’.

Before cutting ties, 95 per cent of their money came from Prince Charles’s income from the Duchy of Cornwall, and 5 per cent from the taxpayer-funded Sovereign Grant. William and Harry received most of a £13million fortune left by their mother Princess Diana. Harry is also thought to have had millions left to him by the Queen mother.

…. And Oprah’s team was accused of doctoring headlines to smear the UK press as racist

ITV was last night forced to edit part of Oprah Winfrey’s explosive interview with the Sussexes after it was revealed that it included misleading and distorted headlines which portrayed British press coverage of the couple as racist. Pictured: Analysis of the headlines

Headlines that were flashed on the screen during the controversial interview with the US chat show host were cynically manipulated to back up the couple¿s assertion that they were the victims of bigoted coverage

Headlines that were flashed on the screen during the controversial interview with the US chat show host were cynically manipulated to back up the couple’s assertion that they were the victims of bigoted coverage

Lawyers for Associated Newspapers, owner of the Daily Mail and MailOnline, have written to Viacom CBS calling for a ‘seriously inaccurate and misleading’ montage of British newspapers to be removed from the Oprah interview programme.

The company has criticised the CBS show for ‘deliberate distortion and doctoring’ of newspaper headlines to support its claims about racist UK press coverage.

ITV later edited their version of the show when it was broadcast in the UK due to the misleading headlines.

‘No-one from my family ever said anything over those three years. That hurts,’ he said.

The Duke added of the Press: ‘Unfortunately, if the source of information is inherently corrupt or racist or biased then that filters out to the rest of society.’

In an extra clip that did not make the final two-hour cut, Oprah asks Harry if they left the UK because of racism to which he replied: ‘It was a large part of it.’

In more additional footage, Meghan said her treatment in the Press had been worse than Kate’s, saying: ‘If a member of his family would comfortably say “we’ve all had to deal with things that are rude”, rude and racist are not the same.’

Royal warfare erupted after Harry and Meghan revealed deeply private and confidential conversations with the royal family to a US journalist friend after they appeared on Oprah, despite claiming it would be their ‘final word’ on their rift with the royals.

The couple told breakfast show host Gayle King the prince had finally spoken to his father and brother – and she went on a major TV network to disclose that the talks ‘were not productive’.

Miss King also suggested that Meghan was unhappy that no-one in the Royal Family had picked up the phone to her yet following their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

And in a thinly-veiled threat, the broadcaster said Meghan had made clear she has ‘documents to back up everything she said on Oprah’s interview’.

The fact that the couple chose to discuss such sensitive discussions between senior members of the royal family with a TV journalist, who broadcast them blow-by-blow within hours, met with an icy response from Buckingham Palace.

Prince William has insisted that the Royal Family were not racists after Meghan claimed one of them had raised ‘concerns’ about ‘how dark’ her baby’s skin would be, and suggested that they tried to deprive Archie of a title and security because he was of mixed race.

She also claimed she had been given so little support by the palace that she suffered suicidal thoughts.

For his part, Harry said he felt ‘really let down’ by his father, accused him of cutting him off financially and refusing to take his calls, while revealing there was a gulf between himself and William.

In recent days there have been a handful of stories published in the UK reporting that Charles and William felt hurt by what Harry had said, but with very little detail on what was taking place behind the scenes.

That was turned on its head when Miss King, who attended Meghan’s lavish baby shower in New York in 2019 and is Miss Winfrey’s closest friend, decided to speak out on her prime time morning show on CBS, the same channel that broadcast the Sussexes’ interview.

Harry was accused of ‘embarrassing’ hypocrisy this week for speaking to CBS, which caused outrage in 2004 by showing a photograph of his mother dying in a 1997 car crash in Paris.

Miss King told viewers she had called Harry and Meghan at their £10 million California home ‘over the weekend’ to discuss the fall-out from the interview and revealed that they had told her details of their intimate conversations.

She said: ‘Well I’m not trying to break news, but I did actually call them to see how they were feeling, and it’s true, Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father too.

‘The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive. But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation.’

Miss King also claimed that the couple were unhappy that ‘the palace’ had apparently been leaking what they believed were untrue stories to the media, adding: ‘And I think what is still upsetting to them is the palace keep saying they want to work it out privately, but yet, they believe these false stories are coming out that are very disparaging against Meghan, still.’

She made clear that the Duchess was unhappy that no-one in the family had called her, despite her making a string of highly inflammatory allegations against several of them in her interview and revealing details of what had been a private conversation between her husband and a family member in which it was alleged an offensive comment had been made.

‘No one in the Royal Family has talked to Meghan yet, at this particular time,’ she said.

The Sussexes effectively accused the Royal Family and Buckingham Palace of institutional racism in their interview with Miss Winfrey.

But Miss King claimed they felt ‘frustrated’ that much of the coverage had focused on this – when they had apparently only wanted to provoke the monarchy into taking action against the media, which they believe has a racist agenda against Meghan.

‘I think it’s frustrating for them to see that it’s a racial conversation about the Royal Family when all they wanted all along was for the royals to intervene and tell the Press to stop with the unfair, inaccurate, false stories that definitely have a racial slant,’ Miss King said.

‘And until you can acknowledge that, I think it’s going to be hard to move forward. But they both want to move forward with this and they both want healing in this family. At the end of the day, that is Harry’s family.’

The broadcaster also raised the investigation launched earlier this month by Buckingham Palace into how claims of bullying against Meghan lodged by a senior member of palace staff were handled.

Her former communications secretary, Jason Knauf, complained in 2018 that she had driven out two PAs with her behaviour and was targeting other female members of staff, but nothing was apparently ever done in response to his allegations.

Miss King says: ‘The bullying thing was raised in 2018 and now there’s an ongoing investigation about bullying from Meghan Markle, when anyone who has worked with her will tell you exactly who she is. You know, she’s really a very sweet, caring person.’

She added: ‘And as I say, Meghan has documents to back up everything that she said on Oprah’s interview. Everything.’

In a further discussion about the ongoing family strife and how to resolve it, Miss King seemed to suggest that Harry and Meghan were not satisfied by Buckingham Palace’s response to their bombshell interview and the claims in it.

She said: ‘The family has to acknowledge that there are issues. And right now, no-one has acknowledged, “Houston, we have a problem here”. That’s really all they want. They want a conversation. They both want a conversation.’

There was no immediate reaction from the Sussexes’s team of PR people – either in London or California – about whether Miss King was speaking at their request.

But as one of their closest friends and media allies in the US, it is unthinkable, say insiders, that they would not have at least been aware that she may choose to brief it.

Royals aides appeared to be genuinely horrified that either the duke or duchess would personally choose to tell anyone, let alone a television journalist, about intimate and highly confidential conversations that Harry was having with his closest family.

They fail to see how it will go any way towards repairing their damaged relationships or rebuilding the family’s shattered trust – on either side.

One said: ‘The only positive we can take out of this is that at least they are talking. It would be better from now on, however, if that could be done in private space.’

TOM QUINN CLAIMS PRINCE HARRY MISSES HIS FRIENDS

Royal expert Tom Quinn claimed that Prince Harry is missing his home country, and he is “bored” of his “difficult” wife, Meghan Markle. Prince Harry and Meghan tied the knot on 19 May 2018 at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Two years later, the pair quit their roles as senior working members of the royal family and moved to California, US to start a new life with their family.

Prince Harry and Meghan have two children together – Prince Archie (5) and Princess Lilibet (3). According to Quinn Prince Harry’s friends won’t visit him in the US because they find Meghan “difficult.”

“Harry is increasingly bored and looking back across the Atlantic where most of his army and school friends still live and whom he never sees because they won’t visit him in the States because they find Meghan difficult,” royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror.

THE DUKE OF SUSSEX DIDN’T ATTEND FRIENDS WEDDING

The New York Post reports that Prince Archie’s godfather and Prince Harry’s longtime friend, Hugh Grosvenor, got married in England in June and Harry did not attend the wedding. While Prince William served as an usher at the wedding.

A source told Daily Mail that Prince William had a prominent role at the wedding, which led to Prince Harry declining the invitation.

“William was asked to have a prominent role in the wedding and that’s what triggered Harry to decline an invitation. Apparently he [Harry] was put out by the request when he thought it should have been him,” said the source to Daily Mail.

Prince William attended the wedding alone. This was after his wife, Princess Kate Middleton revealed that she had cancer in March. at the time, she revealed that she would be undergoing chemotherapy.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful,” she said as she is seen seated on a garden bench at Windsor Castle.

“However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team, therefore, advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” she continued.

This came after King Charles revealed his cancer diagnosis in February.

King Charles is ‘not content’ with seeing Archie and Lilibet over video calls and is ‘keener than ever’ to build a relationship with Harry and Meghan’s children, sources claim

King Charles is ‘not content’ with just seeing Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Archie and Lilibet, over video calls, royal sources have revealed.

The monarch, who has been undergoing cancer treatment since February, told friends that he is ‘keener than ever’ to build a relationship with Archie, five, and Lilibet, two, royal sources told the Mirror.

He has only met the Sussex children a handful of times since they were born, and wants to ‘make up for lost time’, given the long-running falling out Harry has had with the rest of the royal family over their alleged treatment of his wife.

Sources told the paper that King Charles, who managed to make it to D-Day commemorations last week, sent Lilibet a ‘heartfelt gift and card’ in celebration of her birthday last week.

A source said: ‘The King is absolutely committed to being present in all of his grandchildren’s lives.

‘He values family above everything and whatever the course of his relationship with his son he would never be content with just seeing his grandchildren on the odd video call.’

Harry, 39, and his wife Meghan, 42, have lived in Montecito, California, ever since they officially left their lives as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in 2020.

Tensions between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family have remained high, even through King Charles’ cancer diagnosis.

While Harry rushed more than 5,000 miles back to the UK to visit his father following the news, the pair met for just twenty minutes.

He later told American broadcaster ABC: ‘I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.’

Despite his fractured relationship with Harry, King Charles is reportedly a ‘fantastic and enthusiastic grandpa’ to Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, five, sources say.

Queen Camilla, 76, is also understood to be a driving force behind his decision to ramp up efforts to see his other grandchildren.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s PDA Becomes Viral Hit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s touching public display of affection has won praise online after footage from the couple’s visit to the United Nations headquarters in New York City in 2022 has resurfaced on social media.

Harry and Meghan will celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary on May 19 and have often been praised for both their spoken and apparent physical affection for one another in public. Since 2020, the couple have lived in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Since their widely publicized split from the monarchy and move to the U.S., Harry and Meghan have forged working roles for themselves as philanthropists and entertainment industry professionals.

Though they lost their royal patronages in Britain as part of their exit negotiations from the monarchy, Harry and Meghan have retained some formal and informal ties with charities and foundations around the world.

In July 2022, the prince was invited to speak at the United Nations during a session celebrating Nelson Mandela International Day. The royal was accompanied to New York by Meghan, where the couple were photographed walking into the chamber hand-in-hand.

Captioned “Still not over that man doing this at the United Nations. And Meghan’s smile like IKTR [I know that’s right],” the X post has received in excess of 12,000 likes and over 100 comments, many of which have praised the couple and their affection in public.

“I love how he places his hand on her knee as he looks back. still letting her know he is protecting her ! I love them,” wrote on user.

“He really did all that…He loves himself some Princess Meghan,” posted another, with a further comment reading: “I love that for them.”

During his U.N. speech, Harry paid tribute to three important figures in his life. The first being the event’s namesake, Nelson Mandela, whose work and legacy the prince said serves as an inspiration to himself and others.

The second figure was his mother, Princess Diana, who died in 1997. Harry visited Africa with his father soon after his mother’s death, a trip he said helped him feel close to her.

And the third figure was Meghan. Discussing Africa, the prince referred to a vacation he spent with her in Botswana soon after they started dating.

“Since I first visited Africa at 13 years old, I’ve always found hope on the continent. In fact, for most of my life, it has been my lifeline, a place where I have found peace and healing time and time again,” he said in his speech

“It’s where I’ve felt closest to my mother and sought solace after she died, and where I knew I had found a soulmate in my wife.

“And it’s why so much of my work is based there. Because, despite continued hardship, there are people across Africa who embody Mandela’s spirit and ideals—building on the progress he helped make possible.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were ranked as the fourth most disliked celebrities in the world, but an expert has claimed the Duchess of Sussex won’t be too fussed about it Meghan Markle is “unbothered” by her ‘low levels of popularity’ in the UK says a top PR wizz.

Prince Harry's UK Return Leaves Royal Family in 'Painful Mess' as King Urged to Halt Sussexes' 'Quasi-Royal Tours'

Ranker released its most disliked celebrities of 2024 list earlier this week, which saw James Corden, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Amber Heard rank among the most unpopular A-listers by the 31,400 people who cast 394,5000 votes. Team Sussex landed in fourth place in this hall of shame, but Meghan isn’t losing any sleep over her rating according to one expert.

Speaking about Meghan’s low popularity, Lynn Carratt from Press Box PR said: “In the latest YouGov survey released at the beginning of May, Meghan received a very low score. In fact, it should be noted that 65% of respondents disliked her, and 45% had very negative views of her”, reports the Mirror.

“Only 4% of Brits expressed very positive feelings toward her while her overall net approval rating dropped from minus 43 to minus 38 at the beginning of April”, she added. Lynn went on to say she believes Meghan would be taking the survey results with a “pinch of salt”. She added: “I’m not sure how interested she is anymore in getting the British public back on her side.

“She is American and that is where her family life is now, so she will be more concerned in raising her popularity in her own country and focusing on building her brand American Rivera Orchard and making it a huge success.”

Lynn added: “Harry of course will be as it’s his birthplace, and he wants his children to be connected to the British heritage. But we only need to look at their visit to Nigeria last week to know that would have given the couple much confidence because they are celebrated in that country and in their eyes the tour would have been a great success and they do have more visits to other countries lined-up.”

“They did face some criticism from royal supporters as their trip had all the hallmarks of an official royal tour. As Harry and Meghan are no longer working royals, if their foreign visits continue like this, it is likely to cause some friction with King Charles.”

Meghan Markle Pays Cheeky Tribute to Prince Harry

Meghan Markle paid a cheeky tribute to Prince Harry on Friday as the couple attended the Royal Salute Polo Challenge at the Grand Champions Polo Club in Florida, benefiting the prince’s Sentebale charity.

For the occasion, Meghan stood out on the field in an elegant white day dress with a statement bow tied at the neck, which was designed by California lifestyle brand Heidi Merrick. The design is named the “Ginger,” being either a deliberate or happily coincidental tribute to the duchess’ husband’s famous red hair.

The wrap fronted halter-neck design featured a pleated hemmed skirt and exposed back, crafted in an ivory silk and hemp blend, priced at $515.

Meghan watched her husband take to the field from the sidelines with the wives of fellow players, such as Harry’s pal Nacho Figueras’ wife, Delfina. Friends of the couple were also in attendance, including tennis legend Serena Williams.

A press release issued through Harry and Meghan’s personal website stated that the new show, which is being produced as part of their partnership with streaming giant Netflix, will be primarily shot at the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Florida at the USPA National Polo Center.

The show, it said, will “provide viewers with unprecedented access to the world of professional polo.”

“Known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level,” they added.

Meghan’s choice to select her polo dress on Friday from a California based lifestyle brand comes as she recently made her own in-roads into the business sector.

Back in March, the duchess soft-launched her American Riviera Orchard brand with a slick new website and Instagram page. Though no details have yet been released about the brand and its offerings, trademark applications have sought to protect the name against the sale of a diverse range of product, including tableware, stationery, yoga mats, gardening accessories, pet food and nut butters.

Sentebale was co-founded by Harry in 2006 with his close friend, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. The organization supports young people in Lesotho and Botswana, including those affected by HIV and AIDS.
