Linda Robson ended up on holiday with a huge Hollywood couple.

The Loose Women star has recalled how she went on holiday with her Birds of A Feather co-star Lesley Joseph recently, with the pair ending up in the villa belonging to a pair of very famous Hollywood stars. On today’s edition of the ITV show, Linda recalled how they had been invited to their holiday companion’s friend’s villa – and vowed they’d only go if there was a pool.

When their friends confirmed there would be a pool there, they agreed to the holiday and soon found themselves making the long trip to the villa – only to be stunned by who greeted them.

Speaking on Loose Women today, Linda revealed: “They said that their mate Catherine was inviting them up to their villa for the afternoon and they asked if we fancied it. So we asked if she had a pool, so we said we’d go then.

“We got our sarongs on and our swimming costumes. We got a minibus thing and we drove up there five of us, round and round these dangerous roads. When we got there, there was a man waiting for us.”

She added: “When we looked, we realised that it was Michael Douglas. So we agreed no swearing, no nicking anything. Catherine Zeta Jones walks around the corner looking amazing, the body of an 18-year-old. The villa was so beautiful, I can’t tell you.”

Linda is open about her life on Loose Women and last month, she admitted she hadn’t had sex with her husband in two years.

“Can I just say I’ve been celibate for two years,” she shared, with her co-star Denise Welch replying: “I know, but you’ve got to get with the programme!” Linda has been married to husband Mark Dunford for 33 years and was recently hit by claims that their marriage was in ‘crisis’. She seemed to confirm things weren’t 100 per cent behind closed doors as she admitted she hadn’t had sex in two years.

Linda recently opened up about her ‘marriage crisis’, insisting things aren’t always “plain sailing”. Linda put the rumours to bed – insisting that she and Mark were ok, but admitted there were a “few hiccups”.

“That’s a load of rubbish. We’re still living together. We both love our kids more than anything else in the world, obviously you have a few hiccups in every marriage,” she said when quizzed about if her marriage was over.

Loose Women’s Jane Moore cut a debate about the Greece wildfires short on Tuesday as the panellists discussed the latest news.

A week-old wildfire on the Greek resort island of Rhodes tore past defences on Monday, forcing more evacuations as strong winds and successive heat waves that left scrubland and forests tinder-dry fuelled three major fires raging elsewhere in Greece.

The latest evacuations were ordered in south Rhodes after 19,000 people, mostly tourists, were moved in buses and boats over the weekend out of the path of the fire that reached several coastal areas from nearby mountains. It was the country’s biggest evacuation effort in recent years.

More fires are feared in other regions, including on the largest island Crete, in the next 24 hours and authorities have issued maps to highlight the most vulnerable spots.

Discussing the reports on Tuesday in a segment called “The Greek wildfires: Stop people travelling?” Jane, 61, said: “This is a weird one because all the holiday companies are saying they want guidance from the foreign office website but it’s not really saying anything at the minute.

“So if it doesn’t say on the foreign office website, advising not to go, a lot of the holiday companies are saying: ‘Well, we’re not going to give you your money back if you don’t go.’

“Some other experts in the travel industry are saying the foreign office could say: ‘Well, look, there’s certain parts of the island you shouldn’t go to without saying the whole island.’

“You’ve got to think about money back, people’s livelihoods on the islands and people’s holidays that might get cancelled for no reason.”

Janet Street-Porter then recalled her own experience with a wildfire when she travelled to Corsica, an island in France, a few years ago.

Discussing the current news, Janet, 76, pointed out that the island is big so it is up to the responsibility of travellers to see if they would be okay to travel and safe from the fire.

Elsewhere, Judi Love said that travellers have to do their own research and take responsibility in order to make sure safety is in play.

Judi, 43, said: “I think we’ve got to take responsibility and do your research. At this particular time, do your research, take your own responsibility and safety into your hands. Make sure that it’s perfectly safe for you to go.”

However, Brenda Edwards said that she wouldn’t be travelling to Greece at all as she wouldn’t want to put pressure on emergency services.

She said: “Janet saying ‘it could be or could not be’ that’s too many variables for me. Just one gush of wind and all of a sudden it’s on my house, or my hotel where I’m staying.

“I agree with what Judi is saying, you should take responsibility, and for me, I wouldn’t be going if there’s a fire anywhere on the island.”

Janet then pointed out the holiday could be part of the island with no fire, but Brenda remained firm in her decision she would not go at all if there was any kind of risk of a fire.

She added: “You’ve got the rescue services, they’ve got more than enough to do, putting out that fire and rescue the people who actually live there while they’re having to add even more rescuing me.”

Cutting the debate short before it got too heated, Jane quipped: “I’m going to throw water on that fiery debate!”

ITV viewers will see less of shows like Good Morning Britain, Loose Women and This Morning over the next few weeks, thanks to the broadcaster bagging the rights to cover plenty of matches from the Women’s World Cup

Good Morning Britain will remain off air for a while longer thanks to ITV’s coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The international football competition kicked off in Australia and New Zealand on Friday – prompting ITV and the BBC to shake up their schedules.

GMB was first taken off air on Friday – leaving many viewers fuming – and was nowhere to be seen on our TV screens once again on Monday morning.

Popular ITV daytime programmes like Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women have also been impacted by the broadcaster’s sport coverage.

When was Good Morning Britain cancelled?

The early morning breakfast programme normally airs weekdays from 6am on ITV but has been bumped in order to make way for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 since Friday, with coverage of the Philippines v Switzerland clash taking its spot.

GMB aired a reduced edition on Friday, as Philippines v Switzerland battled it out over in Australia. Coverage of the match began at 5.50am with kick-off scheduled for 6am but, when the sports programme wrapped up at 8.05am, a shorter version of Good Morning Britain was not squeezed into the schedule. ITV viewers were subject to a repeat of The Chase with Bradley Walsh’s quiz show bridging the gap before Lorraine.

An episode of Gino’s Italian Family Adventure was broadcast at 6am on Monday morning – the time GMB normally begins – before coverage of Italy and Argentina’s Group G kicked-off at 6.30am. “#gmb so I switch itv on to complain about Richard presenting only to see Gino on a moped wtf, how am I supposed to start my day without a moan,” one fan noted of the schedule shake-up on Monday.

Coverage of the Women’s World Cup continued for the majority of the day on ITV – meaning Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women all forfeited their usual time-slots in order for the footy the dominate the schedule.

Will the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final be on ITV or BBC?

Live television coverage of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand is currently being split between the BBC and ITV. In total all 64 matches from the tournament, which kicked off in Auckland on Friday, will be broadcast in the UK on either ITV or the BBC, except for the Final, which will be shown across both ITV1 and BBC1.

ITV will show coverage of half of the tournament’s matches across ITV1 and ITV4 with simulcast and catch-up on ITVX – meaning many popular daytime TV programmes will be taken off air in order to make way for the football.

“We’re delighted to be able to bring comprehensive coverage of the Women’s World Cup, free to air to our audiences with both live and highlights broadcasts across ITV and ITVX,” Niall Sloane, ITV Director of Sport, said ahead of the football competition starting last week.

“This tournament promises to provide memorable moments with the popularity of women’s football continuing to grow. England’s Lionesses are entering the World Cup Finals as European champions and fans have been able to follow their progress to qualification on ITV through our coverage of the World Cup qualifiers, so we hope they’ll join us to see all the action from Australia and New Zealand throughout the tournament.”

When does Good Morning Britain return to its usual timeslot?

The following matches will be shown on ITV over the next couple of weeks, meaning shows like Loose Women and This Morning will be bumped from the schedule further. Good Morning Britain is scheduled to return to our screens later this week, thanks to the BBC broadcasting the majority of matches from Down Under on Thursday.

The semi-final matches will take place Tuesday 15 August and Wednesday 16 August, with 9am and 11am kick-offs sure to disrupt ITV’s daytime schedule, with the Final scheduled for Sunday 20 August. Normal service will resume on ITV from Monday 21 August.

Things got heated on Loose Women today – but not in the usual way.

The ITV show, no stranger to hosting some heated debates, quickly cut to an ad break during one steamy segment.

Panelist Judi Love was on hand earlier today to read aloud an extract from the latest erotic novel from mystery writer The Secret Socialite.

But as the popular comedian reached a sex scene passage, describing a man as “huge”, the daily show quickly went off air as an advert began to appear on viewers’ screens.

In a seductive voice, Judy read out a snippet which had the studio giggling. She said: “His tongue brushed over her lips, she moved her body instinctively into his – they were an exact fit. They were wet and fully clothed as she could feel his huge…”

The secret author appeared hidden behind a screen
The author of the steamy book series is said to be a famous woman who is staying anonymous in order to keep penning the books without risking changing her public reputation. Speaking on Loose Women today, Nadia Sawalha revealed it has taken a lot of effort to get the novelist in without revealing her identity.

However, those watching the ITV show think they’ve worked out who the famous woman responsible for penning the saucy books is. “Well this is Sarah Ferguson 100% who else talks like that,” one guessed on Twitter as the segment aired, with another adding: “Just what I thought.”

“I thought it sounded a bit like Heather Small,” one viewer suggested, as another pointed out the secret author’s silhouette revealed a tell-tale sign that exposed their identify, writing: “I noticed her [Sarah Ferguson] chin in the profile as my family has the same chin so we’ve talked about it before lol.”

Whilst another urged the author to reveal themselves, adding: “If I was her child, I would be extremely proud if her. Don’t be ashamed to identify yourself. #loosewomen Come out and don’t be ashamed of your past!! You wrote a book for heavens sake. You won’t reply, but it’s out there! Regards.” Someone else pondered: “That sounds like Kelly Hoppen.”

The Secret Socialite’s latest book, Naked in Mayfair, hit bookshop shelves last month and follows the story of Ava, a blonde bombshell and newly divorced banker who leads a glamorous life in Mayfair and is looking for love again. Naked in Mayfair promises to give readers an illuminating glimpse behind closed doors, in the back of a Bentley and at 30,000 feet.

During the author’s appearance on the ITV show, she was only referred to as Ava, which is also the name of the book’s main character. Outwardly, book character Ava is confident and successful, yet she feels alone in the world as she gives the reader an insight into her search for love, meaning, inner peace – and ultimately, self-acceptance.

The former Loose Women star shared her bikini snaps with her 103k Instagram followers whilst highlighting how she handles her “menopause bloat”.

The star shared a before and after picture of herself as she went into detail about how the menopause has affected her, as she highlighted “feeling stressed” and “tired” as well as describing her bloating as “exhausting”.

Alongside a post detailing her experience with menopause bloat, Saira looked carefree and happy as she posed in a tiny green string bikini showing off her tonec looking stomach.

The TV star wrote on her Instagram: “The menopause bloat!! How painful, confidence knocking and exhausting is this condition.

“Many of you who follow me regularly will know I’m active on a daily basis – exercise is not a problem for me. I do also eat well – but eating well consistently is not my strength.”

She continued: “This picture shows my bloat before I went away to @juicemasterretreats a week ago. I was feeling stressed, tired, eating the wrong foods and over indulged in refined sugar – my clothes felt tight and I really didn’t feel great about myself.

“What I have learnt about my menopausal body is that it responds well to

She then added that she knows a retreat isn’t available to everyone but she wanted to share some tips as she wrote: “Not everyone can go to a retreat – but here are all the things I have learnt from the retreat that we can all do to manage the bloat and which I am going to try my hardest to continue at home – it’s not easy as a working mum with a family – but if I want to look and feel good then I need to make the effort for my overall health.”

She then revealed some of her top tips including sleeping at least eight hours at night, drinking water and enjoying being active.

But Meghan will never divorce him, though. He’s the narcissist’s fuel that feeds her existence. It remains to be seen if he’ll stick it out and merely survive. Meghan Markle seems to be trying to mend her broken relationship with Princess Kate, with one royal expert claiming she has “reached out several times”.

 

The Princess of Wales has been caught up in a Photoshop scandal after fans spotted “errors” with a sweet family snap she released on Mother’s Day. Kate smiled alongside her three children in the picture, but fans were convinced it had been altered and rushed to social media to share their theories.

Princess Kate then admitted to editing the snap and apologised for causing any “confusion”. Now, royal author Tom Quinn has said Meghan is using the chaos as her chance to reach out to Kate.

He told The Mirror: “Meghan has reached out several times via back channels to Kensington Palace in an attempt to see if there is any chance of getting on better terms with Kate. This is definitely partly because Meghan is genuinely worried about Kate’s health, but she also sees a chance to lose her permanently angry-at-the-royals image.”

However, it’s unclear whether Meghan’s attempts at a reunion will pay off. Tom explained: “Kate won’t want to be seen to rebuff these overtures, but she will be taking advice and the advice so far, I hear, is definitely – don’t take the risk.

“The feeling in Kensington Palace is that if Meghan’s attempts to extend an olive branch are welcomed, it will just re-open old wounds.” His comments come after another expert urged Meghan to speak out in defence of her sister-in-law.

 

In a shocking turn of events, it has been revealed that Sir Nicholas Soames, a close friend of Prince Charles, leaked the fabricated news of Meghan Markle’s pregnancy with Archie to the King.

 

Despite conflicting reports from both sides, claiming the King’s desire to extend an olive branch and Meghan’s wish for a harmonious relationship with Charles, it is clear that these statements hold no truth.

The royal family is currently grappling with a much bigger issue – the impending revelation of the use of surrogates.
