What was King Charles’ final move to prevent Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the Royal Family?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘shocked’ by King’s move – ‘Everyone knows real reason’

Relations between Prince Harry and King Charles have severely deteriorated ever since the Duke of Sussex stepped away from the Royal Family in 2020.

Prince Harry says it’s ‘great to be back in the UK’

Prince Harry was “deeply shocked” at King Charles’s “blunt refusal to see him even for a moment” when he was in the UK last week – and found it particularly painful as “everyone knows the real reason”, a royal author claimed.

There had been hopes of a heartwarming father and son reunion during the Duke of Sussex’s visit to London to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

But Harry’s team released a statement early last week to say the meeting would not be taking place due to “His Majesty’s full program”, adding: “The duke, of course, is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”

Royal Family author Tom Quinn told The Mirror: “He was deeply shocked at his father’s blunt refusal to see him even for a moment.

“This time the rejection was particularly painful because it was so public – Harry may have issued a statement saying he completely understood why his father didn’t have time to see him, but everyone knows the real reason had nothing to do with busy schedules.”

BBC Breakfast presenter Jon Kay was left red-faced after his co-star Sarah Campbell issued a two-word response to his bold claim about an ice cream van being swept out to sea

BBC Breakfast: Jon Kay and Sarah Campbell open the show

BBC Breakfast’s Sarah Campbell had a succinct reply to Jon Kay’s audacious statement.

The dynamic duo joined forces for the second time this week, delivering the day’s news to viewers on Tuesday (July 9).

In an unexpected twist, the 54 year old anchor shared that rescue teams in Cornwall were dispatched to salvage an ice cream van that had been carried out to sea. On Sunday (July 7), Padstow coastguard and RNLI lifeguards rushed to Harlyn Bay as the rising tide ensnared the vehicle.

Jon informed the audience that thankfully, the driver was not inside at the time, but lamented the loss of something else: “A lot of ice cream was and all the tasty contents have been lost to the waves. Oh dear,” he said with a hint of humour.

The father of three playfully suggested he might dive into the search himself, saying: “I might swim in that though. I’d like to go out for a swim and find free ice cream.”, reports the Express.

Sceptical of her colleague’s claim, Sarah retorted with a terse: “Yeah, alright.” Stepping into Sally Nugent’s shoes once more after her absence on Monday, Sarah co-hosted alongside Jon.

Typically, the 52 year old anchors the show from the red sofa from Monday to Wednesday with Jon Kay, but she is currently off for reasons not disclosed.

‘I haven’t been to bed!’ admits The One Show’s Roman Kemp as co-host Alex Jones is forced to step in amid show shake up

PRESENTER Roman Kemp admitted that he hadn’t slept between a game of the Euros and his shift on The One Show yesterday evening.

The show host was visibly excited over England’s recent win in the semi-finals, prompting Alex Jones to ask if he had watched the match.

Roman cheekily replied: “I haven’t been to bed…”

Then realising his parents would be tuning in to The One Show he quickly corrected himself, saying: “I have mum, sorry.”

His co-host jokingly hinted at the possibility of Roman being hungover, assuring him that she would handle presenting duties for the night.

After an attempt to steer the conversation away from football, Roman was quickly swept up in the frenzy again when Jermaine Jenas made a reference to England’s upcoming match in the Euro finals.

The football pundit grinned: “I hope we all get to say those magical three words on Sunday that I’m not going to be saying right now, but fingers crossed.”

Roman replied: “Ah, do you know what? I’m going to say the three magical words, it’s coming home.”

Alex told him off for jinxing the result, saying: “There you are you’ve done it now.”

But Roman backed his statement, retorting: “Come on, you’ve got to get behind them, the whole country is invested.”

Viewers have been left disappointed over the past couple weeks as The One Show got replaced with live tennis coverage during Wimbledon.

Roman and Jermaine have also gone missing from the studio, presumably as they deal with other sports related duties.

Saira is no stranger to stripping off on social media and was praised for showing off her real body last week.

But on Wednesday she opened up about what her daughter’s friends have said about her to 13-year-old Amara.

The TV star shared a candid video of her rocking a black and white bikini of herself getting ready.

Saira captioned the post: “My daughter came home from school the other day saying that a girl had googled me and found photos in a magazine where I had done a shoot showing off my body and as a result called me a ‘PORN STAR’.

“I have to also share that this girl is a Muslim, she took 2 days off school to celebrate EID , no doubt her family fasted and prayed to God and she’s probably prays at home – reciting the words of the holy Quran.

“My daughter is 13 years old and goes to an all girls school. The rumour spread by this girl has upset her.”

Saira explained that she didn’t blame Amara’s class mate, and wants those brought up in the same religion to celebrate a woman’s body.

She continued: “I do not blame this girl for saying what she has, I blame her parents – children only act out what they see and hear at home – language and behaviour is absorbed by children.

“The reason I mention this child’s culture and religion is because I also was brought up in that very same environment where to see a woman celebrating her body and you immediately relate it to “sex” “shame” “guilt” “derogatory terms”.

“The problem is that so many women are so disconnected from loving their bodies that as they age, they are the ones that suffer the most from pain, illness and long term health issues!

“As a 54 year old Asian woman, I have always been judged by the very people that look like me and share my religious and cultural heritage for what I “wear and look like” rather than what I do and have achieved.

“It does not bother me – part of healing is to let go of “what other people do” – this 13 year old girl is projecting her own unhappiness, jealousy, insecurities etc.

“One of the biggest personal freedoms I have achieved as a woman is to wear what I like, when I like and to feel amazing in my skin without any feelings of shame, guilt or fear.

In a shocking turn of events, the usually private Zara Tindall, Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, has broken her silence on the ongoing royal family feud.

During a recent appearance on the popular YouTube talk show hosted by Mike Tindall, Zara did not hold back, delivering scathing remarks about Meghan Markle that are sure to rattle the palace.

The interview, which has already gone viral, began innocuously enough with Mike and Zara discussing their family life and the upcoming Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

However, the conversation soon took an unexpected turn when Mike probed Zara about her thoughts on the current state of the royal family.

“Look, I know everyone’s been tiptoeing around this issue, but I’ve got to ask, what’s your take on the whole Meghan Markle situation?” Mike asked, his tone serious.

Zara’s response was nothing short of explosive. “Meghan? Oh, don’t even get me started,” she said, shaking her head. “That woman is an absolute disaster, and I’m frankly amazed she’s managed to hang on in the royal family for as long as she has.”

The audience fell silent, captivated by Zara’s uncharacteristically blunt assessment. Mike, sensing the gravity of her words, pressed further. “Care to elaborate on that?”

Zara took a deep breath before continuing. “Meghan has been nothing but trouble since she joined the family. She’s arrogant, manipulative, and has absolutely no respect for our traditions and values. The way she’s treated our grandmother, the Queen, is just unforgivable.”

The revelation that Zara, known for her warm and approachable demeanor, harbored such strong negative feelings towards Meghan Markle sent shockwaves through the royal enthusiast community. As the interview progressed, Zara’s criticisms only intensified.

“Meghan’s failed at every turn. You know, she couldn’t even manage to hold down a simple royal engagement without causing some kind of scandal or drama. And the way she and Harry have been throwing the family under the bus with their constant interviews and tell-all books—it’s just disgusting,” Zara said, visibly frustrated.

When Mike asked about the specific issues Zara had with Meghan, she didn’t hold back. “The Oprah interview, the accusations of racism, the constant whining about how hard it is to be a royal—it’s all just so ridiculous and self-serving. Meghan’s nothing but a fame-hungry manipulator who’s used our family to advance her own agenda.”

Zara’s scathing words echoed the sentiments of many loyal royal supporters who have grown increasingly weary of the Sussexes’ public airing of grievances.

However, her willingness to speak out so boldly against Meghan, a member of the same family, was seen by many as a significant escalation in the ongoing tensions.

As the interview drew to a close, Mike asked Zara if she had any final thoughts on the matter. “Look, I know Meghan has a lot of fans out there, and maybe some people will see this as me just being mean or petty, but at the end of the day, I’m loyal to my family, and I won’t stand by and watch as someone tries to tear it apart. Meghan had her chance, and she blew it. It’s time for her to just disappear and let the rest of us move on.”

The interview has already sparked a firestorm on social media, with royal watchers and critics alike weighing in on Zara’s bold statements. Some have praised her for her candor and willingness to defend the family, while others have accused her of being unnecessarily harsh and out of touch.

Regardless of the public reaction, Zara Tindall’s explosive comments have undoubtedly added fuel to the ongoing royal feud, further highlighting the deep divisions within the House of Windsor. As the Platinum Jubilee celebrations loom, one can only imagine the palpable tension that will permeate the air when the various factions of the royal family come together to honor Queen Elizabeth’s historic reign.

Meghan Markle joined the Royal Family when she started dating Prince Harry, but the couple left four years ago and have since developed a very tense relationship

Meghan Markle didn’t hold back when she was confronted with “concerns” during her time in the Royal Family, according to a royal author.

The Duchess of Sussex joined The Firm when she started dating Prince Harry, but tensions quickly started to grow.

Meghan was accused of shouting at staff during her time in the Royal Family, with author Robert Lacey accusing her of “governing by fear” in his bombshell book Battle of the Brothers.

The author also claimed Prince William was worried Meghan was “stealing his beloved brother away” and was “very concerned” after learning how she allegedly treated her staff. In response, Meghan is said to have given a blunt seven-word reply.

For all the latest on news, politics, sports, and showbiz from the USA, go to The Mirror US.

“It’s not my job to coddle people,” Meghan said, according to Robert’s book. While Meghan was hit with bullying allegations during her time in the Royal Family, her close friends and family insisted they were false and didn’t align with the “kind” person they know.

A friend also told Bazaar Meghan was upset by the accusations. They said: “I hate to say it, but find me a woman of colour in a senior position who has not been accused of being too angry, too scary… in the work place.”

A spokesperson for Meghan also vehemently denied the allegations. They said at the time: “Let’s just call this what it is – a calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation. We are disappointed to see this defamatory portrayal of the Duchess of Sussex.”

The statement continued: “It’s no coincidence that distorted several-year-old accusations aimed at undermining the duchess are being briefed to the British media shortly before she and the duke are due to speak openly and honestly about their experience of recent years.”

Meghan and Harry stepped down from the Royal Family back in 2020 before moving to Montecito, California. They’ve since developed an incredibly tense relationship with The Firm and have made a number of bombshell accusations about various members of the Royal Family.

In their bombshell Netflix docuseries, Harry detailed the breakdown of his relationship with his brother Prince William and claimed he left him terrified after he screamed and shouted at him during the Sandringham summit. Harry also alleged members of Kensington Palace had then “lied to protect my brother”. He then further hit out at his family in his memoir, Spare.

  • What ultimatum did King Charles deliver to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and does this signal the end of their reign within the royal family?

What ultimatum did King Charles deliver to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and does this signal the end of their reign within the royal family?

What did King Charles officially announce today regarding Prince Harry and Meghan, and what does it mean for their future as royals in the UK?

Harry and Meghan are not working Royals and they are not in the UK

They remain members of the Royal Family, but do not work in the family business.

The King’s sister and younger brother do, as do some cousins. But employees of The Firm or not, all are “Royals”.

Did Harry inherit more than William?

Yes and no. When the Queen mother died back in 2002 she left more money to Harry, knowing that William would eventually become Prince and inherit the Duchy of Cornwall, a private estate valued at over $1 billion.

Which is exactly what happened when Queen Elizabeth passed away in 2022. So overall, Willian inherited quite a bit more than Harry.

But this $1 billion estate is nothing compared to the $10 billion that King Charles received tax free, thanks to a clever investment by the Queen into one of the world’s most exclusive asset classes … fine art.

The Royal family has been investing a portion of their fortune into art for centuries …

But the Royals are far from the only billionaires who have invested a significant chunk of their fortunes in this emerging asset class.

Billionaires like David Geffen, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates are all avid art collectors.

The recently-named “richest man in the world,” Berard Arnault, who is the CEO of luxury-goods conglomerate LVMH, has an extensive collection of art.

Plus, there’s a long list of celebrities like Jay-Z, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, Madonna, and Ellen Degeneres who have invested millions into art.

The only problem is, regular investors have always been locked out of this asset class because it usually takes millions of dollars to purchase just one iconic piece.

Until now. Investing in art just got easier, thanks to a revolutionary new investment platform called Masterworks.

Masterworks provides a simple, secure way for anyone to invest in shares of paintings from famous artists like Picasso, Banksy and Basquiat.

Which is great, because contemporary art prices have outpaced the S&P 500 by 131% since 1995 … and real estate and gold by more than three to one over the same period.

Even better, art acts as a great hedge during periods of high inflation and market volatility.

Which is why Blackrock CEO, Larry Fink, who manages nearly $10 trillion in assets, recently called art “the new gold” because of its remarkable ability to “preserve wealth”

These are just a few reasons why billionaires like Larry Fink, Jeff Bezos, and Oprah Winfrey are pouring hundreds of millions into this asset class.

Royal News : Prince William FINALLY BANS Meghan Markle BACK TO THE Royal Family?

William ‘bans’ Harry from returning to Royal Family as Prince of Wales ‘calling the shots’ behind the scenes

    Prince Harry and Prince William

“William is calling the shots when it comes to family discipline… He can be scary,” the source said

Prince William has apparently taken on the disciplinarian duties Prince Philip once enforced on the family

Prince William is “calling the shots” in the Royal Family and is “refusing” to speak to Prince Harry, an insider has claimed.

As part of the claims, made in response to YouGov polling which has placed the Prince of Wales as the most popular male royal, William is said to rule the family “with a rod of iron”.

The source said the prince had taken on the disciplinarian duty over the family yielded by his grandfather Prince Philip upon his death, and even said William could be “scary”.

They said: “There is a sense that William has stepped into the Prince Philip role.

    Prince Harry and Prince William

“William is calling the shots when it comes to family discipline… He can be scary,” the source said

    PA

“Philip ruled the family with a rod of iron and you saw when he died that discipline collapsed.

“Now William is calling the shots when it comes to family discipline… He can be scary!”

William’s discipline allegedly presents itself through an “absolute ban on Harry returning in any way, shape or form to the family fold”, the Daily Beast reported.

And while the source said that King Charles would like to spend more time with his youngest son, William has ruled out any such return.

Prince Harry, Prince Philip and Prince William

The source claimed Prince William has taken over his grandfather’s role as a disciplinarian

Apparently, the Prince of Wales refuses to speak to Prince Harry, with the source claiming his ban against the wishes of the head of state “tells you everything you need to know about who is really in charge”, the source said.

The bold claims accompanied latest YouGov polling data on Britain’s major royals, which ranks the key family members based on fame and popularity.

In a blow for the Royal Family, its most popular member in the first quarter of 2024 is the late Queen Elizabeth II – who outstrips all the living royals by at least six percentage points.

Of the current family set, Princess Kate remains the most popular figure, polling at 71 per cent approval – with Prince William and Princess Anne just behind her, at 67 and 65 per cent approval ratings respectively.

    Prince Andrew

Prince Andrew has been handed a mere nine per cent approval rating

Only two more members of the family have been handed a positive rating among the British public: The King, at 58 per cent, and Prince Edward, at 57 per cent.

At the base of the table sits Prince Andrew, at just nine per cent approval rating.

Ahead of him sits Meghan Markle at 26 per cent, and his two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – at 27 and 29 per cent.

Prince Harry, despite his apparent ban at the hands of “iron rod” William, also suffers with a net unfavourable score; the Duke of Sussex, according to YouGov, is liked by just 34 per cent of Britons.
