Saira Khan, the former Loose Women panellist, has opened up about her time on the show, why she decided to leave, and the friendships she maintains post-exit in a candid chat. In an exclusive with Woman’s Own magazine, the one-time Apprentice star who shot to fame as the runner-up in the inaugural 2005 series reflected on her stint from 2015 to 2020 on the panel of the hit daytime TV show.

She explained her departure from Loose Women, saying: “It was more about me growing up and saying, ‘Look, this is what I like, and this is what I don’t like,’ and some of the things that go on, I was just not comfortable with it, and I think you have to be honest with it.””It doesn’t mean you’re falling out, it just means it’s not enough for me.”

Khan also dished on her current ties with her ex-co-stars. “I recently went out with Ruth [Langsford] to go and see Coleen [Nolan] on her solo tour in Blackpool,” she revealed.

“I keep in touch with Andrea [McLean] and Denise [Welch]. I know people think I fell out with them all, but it wasn’t about the girls, it was more about me to be honest with you.”, reports OK!.

Post-Loose Women, Saira took on the gruelling SAS: Who Dares Wins, joining celebs like Kerry Katona, James Cracknell, Alexandra Burke, and Wes Nelson. She’s also been seen on the Jeremy Vine on 5 morning show, which she admits to preferring over her Loose Women gig.

“I wouldn’t go back to Loose Women I’ve done that and I think I’ve come out of it realising I want to move forward, and I want to do things that I really enjoy,” she shared. “Also, Jeremy Vine gives me space to talk about politics as well as just talking about my private life and who I am. I think people can get a bit bored of that, and the same subjects.”

“I also like the diversity of it, and that it’s not just all females there’s men and women, and I quite like that. It’s a bit more real life, and you can have a bit more laughter.”

When she joined Jeremy’s show earlier this year, she told The Mirror : “After taking a few years off the telly, it was nice to be back and I didn’t realise how much I missed it. It was Jeremy [Vine] who persuaded me to come back.”

She added: “I think it’s good to have a break and I feel more confident now about who I am and what I want to say.”

She continued: “I had hoped we’d be together for ever, I insisted I wouldn’t make the mistakes I made in my first marriage and I wrote about how my heart would lift with love when I saw his name flash up on my phone. And I really meant it. I tried for a year to save our marriage. I tried so hard…”

Sadly, for Andrea, the topic of marriages breaking down was up for debate on her Loose Women show, as she admitted she struggled through it. Opening up about hosting the show, she said: “On my first Loose Women show of the New Year the topic was, ‘Why do marriages break down at Christmas.’ I just wanted to burst out crying, but somehow I got through.

“I’d kept my marriage problems to myself and only Sherrie Hewson saw through my brave face. But I’ve explained everything now and I know the ladies will all be there for me.”

Eamonn Holmes distracted himself from his split from Ruth Langsford by enjoying an afternoon tea with presenter Hayley Sparkes.

The 64-year-old and Loose Women panellist Ruth, also 64, sent shockwaves through the showbiz industry when they revealed they were calling time on their 14-year marriage and heading for divorce. Ruth hadn’t publicly commented on the split but Eamonn thanked fans for their support while presenting on GB News.

 

At the time, he said: “So here we are on this Tuesday morning and a lot of politics. Just before we move on I would just like to thank people for your support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation. Your support for both of us is very much appreciated.” Ruth, however, simply shared small glimpses into her life on social media with fans.

The ITV daytime show returned with Kaye as host and Denise Welch, Brenda Edwards and Janet on the panel. They kicked off the programme by talking about modern slang and abbreviations. Kaye reeled off modern terms such as Platty Joobs for the Platinum Jubilee and Gen Elec for the general election.

The four stars were not impressed with the new words as they started to share old slang and terms, which they argued were better and made more sense. However, at the end of the debate Janet cheekily asked: “Can I say t*ts up?” The audience erupted into laughter as a stern Kaye told her: “Janet, the answer to that you asked me a question and no.”

They then cut to an ad break but didn’t apologise for the swear word. As they returned from the break, they discussed Brenda’s fashion choices as she revealed she is a fan of wearing a jumpsuit. She was tasked with wearing a dress as she shared her reasons for why she doesn’t like wearing them.

Yet her panellists didn’t like her reasons for not liking her knees as Kaye urged her to give a dress a go. She got so passionate, she said: “Well, I mean lets see these b****y…” Kaye managed to stop herself at the end of the word as she gasped at what she just said. Brenda quipped: “Everybody is naughty on this panel today, you lot are naughty.”

Denise pointed out: “It’s half term Kaye Adams.” Kaye said: “Can I apologise for the language I am sorry for any offence that has been caused.” Viewers were confused at her apology as some didn’t think it was a swear word. One said: “Why did Kaye apologise for the word b***dy? That’s not a bad word #loosewomen.” Another added: “#loosewomen B****y isn’t really a swear word, for goodness sake.” Someone else commented: “lol Kaye #loosewomen.”

A source told The Sun on Sunday : “Ruth was obviously aware that her marriage was crumbling, but as details emerge, her upset has turned to anger. Eamonn’s friend is bowled over by being lavished with attention and kindness from him.”

The woman in question is said to be a relationship counsellor who deals with “separation and divorce”, and the pair have allegedly become closer friends over the last 12 months.

The insider added: “She works for a charity Eamonn is involved with from time to time.”

He is currently preparing for his sentencing taking place on July 11 where he can face up to four years behind bars. Brooklyn and Hanna went to the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood premiere together
In December 2018, Brooklyn was confirmed to be in a relationship with model Hana Cross.

The couple confirmed their relationship on Instagram but had probably been together for longer as she had already met his parents.

Hana was seen joining Brooklyn and his parents at the Haig Club House Party in Notting Hill, London.

They were also seen hand-in-hand as they left a British Fashion Awards after party that same month.

In addition, Hana also posted a video of the two looking cosy as they danced to The Jacksons’ Blame It On The Boogie.

In June 2019, a source close to the family told the Sun: “David’s got a tight bond with Brooklyn and it’s been worrying for him and Victoria to watch him arguing with Hana.

“They’ve been so up and down these past few weeks and David wants Brooklyn to have a serious think about whether he’s got a future with her.”

By the following month the pair stopped making public appearances and went their separate ways.

Singer Rita Ora and the eldest Beckham son were an item when he was 18 and she was 26.

Apparently, they dated in secret and shared many flirty texts – however, that all came to an end when his famous parents found out.

Given that Rita previously dated Becks’ BFF Dave Gardner, David is understood to have been furious.

As a result, Posh and husband David banned Brooklyn from seeing Rita, and to show they meant business, the pair sent him Brooklyn to live in New York to keep him away from the singer.

Brooklyn has been dating actress Nicola since around November 2019 but had met in 2017.

They announced their engagement on July 11, 2020, on Instagram with Brooklyn saying:  “Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes.

I am the luckiest man in the world.”

The eldest Beckham boy has seven tattoos dedicated to Nicola, one of which is on his hand and says “our little bubble”.

Together they share a £8.3million mansion in Beverley Hills but are reportedly looking to sell it and move to Miami.

He proposed with an emerald cut engagement ring with an estimated 4.5-5 carat diamond.

The £3million wedding will take place on Saturday, April 9, 2022.

The chosen venue for the nuptials is a Peltz family mansion in Palm Springs, Florida.

As you would expect, the guest list is long and full of celebrities.

Posh and Becks attended the Royal Wedding in 2018, so rumours have risen of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attending this showbiz royalty event.

Elton John is a long time friend of the Beckhams so likely to have an invite.

Willow and Jaden, the children of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, are also family friends of the groom.

Of course, the Spice Girls have also been invited.

The Cambridges were invited to the stunning event in Florida after inviting the Beckhams to their own wedding in 2011, it’s understood.

However, it’s understood they politely declined the invitation, and did not fly out for the celebrations.

The Sussexes also invited David and Victoria to their big day in 2018.

It has long been reported that they would be at the top of the guest list, as David and Harry are known to be friendly.

However, it’s been reported by the Mirror that they did not receive an invitation.

The paper claims the Beckhams “agonised” over which royal couple to invite because of the alleged rift between William and Harry.

However, in the end they decided to ask William and Kate to attend because of their long friendship, it’s said.

A source close to the Beckhams told the publication: “David and Victoria wrote to William and Kate inviting them and the family to their son’s wedding.

“William replied wishing them a great deal of joy but [said] they were unable to attend.”

William and Kate were “always” the Beckhams’ choice as the couples have a “very strong relationship”, it’s claimed.

However, it’s believed security issues prevented the couple from accepting their invitation.

David and William have struck up a firm friendship over the years, with England’s footballing hero often now joining the Duke to spread awareness of mental health issues.

Last year, David and son Romeo shared the Royal Box at the Euros with Kate and William.

ROYAL INVITATION

The former footballer posted a selfie with Kate in the background after England knocked Germany out of the competition.

Photos from the game also show the couple laughing with the Beckhams, who were sitting directly behind them.

David revealed he’s “good mates” with William in an interview from ten years ago.

He told Esquire: “It’s a very normal relationship, with Harry as well.

“They’re very easy to get along with. They love their sport.

“William loves Aston Villa, unfortunately, which obviously I give him a bit of stick about.”

LONG FRIENDSHIP

Last year, David and William reunited at the Sun’s glittering Who Cares Wins awards. They flashed relaxed grins at the camera as they caught up.

It’s thought David first became close to both of the princes as they campaigned for London to hold the World Cup back in 2012.

The football ace and dad-of-four was master of ceremonies at Brooklyn’s wedding yesterday.

Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17, were joint best men, while little sister Harper, 10, was among the bridesmaids.

Gordon Ramsay, Mel B, Serena Williams and Eva Longoria were among the guests, as were model Gigi Hadid and reality star Nicole Ritchie.

Snoop Dogg performed a DJ set and Marc Anthony – ex-husband of film star Jennifer – serenaded the couple during performances inside one of three huge marquees.

Representatives for both the Cambridges and the Sussexes have been contacted for comment.

ITV star Ruth has proved to fans that you can’t keep a good woman down, after sharing photos of her glamorous new makeover amid her ongoing divorce proceedings with soon-to-be ex-husband Eamonn Holmes

Loose Women star Ruth Langsford has debuted her glam makeover after confirming that she and Eamonn Holmes are going through divorce proceedings.

The 64-year-old is going through a split with partner of 27 years Eamonn Holmes, after fans began to suspect something was wrong whe they’d not been seen together for months. It’s confirmed that Eamonn had moved out of the family home, with reports of explosive arguments between the pair, while her husband’s ill health had been “testing” for Ruth and the family.

But proving to her followers that she’s doing fine, Ruth shared her trip to the hairdresser on Instagram Stories, showing off her brighter blonde ‘do.

Tagging her hair colourist Josh Wood, based in London, Ruth shared a snap of herself with her hair in foils, before a photo of the end result of her lighter blonde, complete with glamourous over-sized sunglasses. As she recovers from the fallout of the news of her divorce emerging, Ruth spent a wholesome day with her mum on Sunday (June 2).

She captured memories of the day she spent with her mum, Joan, with the pair of them enjoying music, dancing, sherry and music in the sunshine, as well as getting stuck into a crossword together. In a heartwarming caption, she wrote: “Lovely day spent with my darling Mum….sunshine, music, dancing, sherry, lunch, crosswords in the garden and Maggie….making memories Music by her favourite @mrantondubeke #sunday #family.”

Ruth’s weekend would have been a welcome break from the drama that has emerged over the past few weeks with Eamonn, and she was said to be “angry” to find out the her ex had been spending more time with a blonde woman in her 40s.

A source told The Sun on Sunday : “Ruth was obviously aware that her marriage was crumbling, but as details emerge, her upset has turned to anger. Eamonn’s friend is bowled over by being lavished with attention and kindness from him.”

The woman Eamonn is spending time with is said to be a relationship counsellor who specialises in “separation and divorce”, and the pair have allegedly become closer friends over the last 12 months after meeting on Twitter.

The insider added: “She works for a charity Eamonn is involved with from time to time.”
