Meghan Markle sees herself as Princess Diana’s successor, royal expert explains why

Meghan Markle, 42, views herself as Princess Diana’s successor, says a royal expert explaining the reason

In the worlds of royalty and fame, few individuals have captured public fascination like Princess Diana and Meghan Markle. Now, a royal expert has shared insights into Markle’s perspective. Ever since she entered into a relationship with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle has faced intense public scrutiny. Some have drawn comparisons between her and Princess Diana, while others believe she could never match up to her late mother-in-law.

Princess Diana, known for her compassion and disruption of royal norms, left behind a legacy of humanitarianism and vulnerability that reshaped the British monarchy. Markle, once an American actress now Duchess of Sussex, has paved her own way, challenging conventions and facing intense scrutiny in her royal role. Recently, at 42, Markle launched her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, sparking discussions about her connection to Diana’s legacy. This move, brimming with ambition and personal expression, has drawn insights from royal experts and sparked various reactions from the public. American Riviera Orchard signifies Markle’s latest endeavor to merge public influence with private entrepreneurial ambition, offering homeware products as a testament to her commitment to a legacy beyond her royal title.

The brand’s launch happened at the same time as The Diana Award ceremony, a timing that royal expert Tom Quinn thinks wasn’t coincidental. According to Quinn, Markle sees herself as “Diana’s heir,” facing similar media attention but striving for personal and societal progress like her late mother-in-law. However, opinions differ on this connection to Diana’s legacy, with some seeing it as respectful and others criticizing it for using royal ties.

Comparisons between Markle and Princess Diana aren’t new. Prince Harry himself has frequently pointed out the similarities between the two most significant women in his life. In their Netflix documentary series, “Harry & Meghan,” Harry highlighted Markle’s compassion, empathy, and warmth, traits he strongly connects with his mother.

The comparison goes beyond just personality traits, touching on their shared struggles with media scrutiny and their commitment to using their public platforms for advocacy and change. In a segment from the documentary, Prince Harry recounted a night when he and Meghan were staying in a room at Buckingham Palace after a royal engagement. Despite the presence of most royal family members, including his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, the media chose to feature Markle on the front page.

Several royal fans accused Markle of attempting to overshadow other royals, but Prince Harry clarified that it’s the media, not the royals, who decide who appears on the front page. However, this association with Diana’s legacy has its pros and cons, serving as both inspiration and a possible source of conflict within and outside the royal family. Critics claim that Markle’s business ventures, especially the timing of her brand’s launch, indicate a deliberate effort to link her image with Diana’s lasting impact.

This viewpoint suggests a nuanced balancing act between personal aspirations and public perception, where each decision is closely examined for its genuineness and adherence to royal customs. However, supporters view Markle’s actions as a continuation of Diana’s legacy, honoring her memory by embodying the same spirit of independence and social consciousness. Therefore, the launch of American Riviera Orchard goes beyond mere brand introduction. It serves as Markle’s statement of identity and purpose, declaring how she wants to be perceived and remembered. By aligning her entrepreneurial pursuits with Diana’s legacy, Markle is creating a space where her endeavors can be both personally fulfilling and beneficial to others.

However, Meghan faces constant comparisons and expectations, with every move being measured against Princess Diana’s legacy. As she develops her brand and public image, discussions about her connection to Diana will likely continue. Starting her business coincides with Meghan defining her identity on their new website. They launched it, changing from Sussex Royal to just Sussex. Despite stepping back from official duties, they still use their titles. Their website shares more about their lives and work. Meghan’s page uses only her first name, a common practice among British Royals.

Meghan’s story on the website talks about her childhood, showing how she went from being a young girl in Southern California to becoming an influential person today. The page also talks about her support for women, mental health, fairness between genders, and taking care of families. Meghan’s impact and fame are also shown by her being mentioned in different lists of important people worldwide. Now, living in California with her two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Meghan and Harry are starting a new life away from their big roles in the British Royal Family. Their children’s names connect them to Harry’s background and are important parts of their lives in America.

After moving, they started the Archewell Foundation and released the podcast “Archetypes.” These show their continued dedication to helping others and having important conversations. Meghan’s information is on the Royal Family’s official website, but it doesn’t say a lot about what she supports or does. It says that Meghan and Harry aren’t senior members of the family anymore but will still help charities and groups that they’ve cared about for a long time, like the arts, education, helping women, and taking care of animals.

Recently, when King Charles got sick with cancer, Prince Harry went back to London to be with him. But Meghan Markle stayed in America during this time. The reason for Meghan’s choice wasn’t confirmed, but the King’s former butler, Grant Harrold, talked about it. He said, “Meghan decided it was best to stay home with the children, and maybe she thinks this is something Harry should do on his own. It’s his father. She knows how close they are and probably told him to go.”

Amanda Holden, host of the Heart FM Breakfast show, has boldly stated that she believes the British public “don’t care” about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The comment comes in response to Graham Norton’s insistence that people just want the Sussexes to “live their lives” in their quiet neighbourhood of Montecito, California. Speaking on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, TV presenter Graham challenged the idea that everyday UK citizens are overly concerned with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Graham pointedly stated that Harry and Meghan’s conduct is far different from that of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who always manage to maintain an unblemished image. In a 2023 interview, Graham questioned the levels of public interest, musing: “Do regular people care that much? I don’t think they do. I think they just think let them live their lives.”

Then, during Saturday’s segment on Heart Breakfast, Amanda Holden showed support for Graham’s stance, agreeing wholeheartedly. The 53 year old confidently said: “I think you’re right. I think the press makes so much of it but none of us really care.”

Amanda’s co-host at Heart Radio, was quick to add his agreement, chiming in: “I think we don’t care that much.”

It’s noteworthy that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a bold move of stepping back from Royal duties in 2020, relocating their family from Frogmore Cottage to the States, reports the Mirror.

From there, the couple has had a whirlwind ride through numerous personal controversies including the release of Harry’s eye-opening memoir titled Spare and their tell-all Netflix documentary series aptly named Harry and Meghan.

Meghan has also stepped into the business world with her new brand, American Riviera Orchard, and is eagerly awaiting the launch of its potential star product – a rose wine. Meghan is poised to join the league of celebrities like Kylie Minogue, Brad Pitt, and Sarah Jessica Parker who have launched their own alcoholic beverages.

Aside from wine, Meghan has also ventured into the world of artisan jam and took to Instagram to announce the launch, sending out 50 jars of her luxury jam to celebrity friends for a social media showcase.

This move marks a departure from the anticipated “tell-all” book that Royal watchers were expecting Meghan to release, which Emma Clifton, writer for Australian Women’s Weekly, hinted that is likely a welcome development for the Royal Family.

Emma noted: “What I’ve seen so far, although she’s been pretty clandestine about it everything surrounding this new brand, is that it’s Meghan and it’s Meghan alone. You can even see it on Instagram. It’s not Meghan and Harry – it’s by Meghan.

“This is the emancipation of Meghan. It’s her saying, ‘I’m a smart, savvy businesswoman. And here’s an introduction to my family on my terms’.”

The rift between Harry, Meghan, and the royals appears irreparable. Despite hopes for reconciliation, trust seems all but obliterated, overshadowed by public controversies and personal grievances. This divide, laid bare by sensational headlines and candid interviews, has captivated the world and exposed the vulnerabilities within one of history’s most iconic families.

Recent events, such as Harry’s return to the UK for the Invictus Games, highlighted the deepening estrangement. His desire to connect with family, notably King Charles, was met with logistical excuses, signaling a palpable distance. The silence surrounding any plans to meet his brother, Prince William, underscores the profound rift in sibling relations.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle continues to navigate public scrutiny and criticism. Her outspokenness and revelations about royal life have sparked debate and division. While some admire her courage, others question her motives and criticize her impact on the royal institution.

Beyond personal conflicts, financial arrangements and security concerns remain contentious issues. The couple’s ventures into media partnerships and public appearances have raised eyebrows and prompted scrutiny over their ties to the royal family’s legacy and responsibilities.

In the broader context, comparisons between life in the UK and the US highlight contrasting cultural norms, legal frameworks, and societal expectations. These differences shape public opinion and perceptions of the couple’s choices and challenges.

As the saga continues to unfold, the future remains uncertain. Will there be a path to reconciliation, or are these fractures irreparable? Only time will reveal the answers as the royal family navigates unprecedented challenges and strives to uphold its legacy amidst changing times.

Royal Expert Slams Meghan Markle Over ‘Rotten Time in the UK’ Comment

Recently, Meghan Markle’s comments about her “rotten time” in the UK stirred quite a bit of controversy. Royal expert Michael Cole was quic…

Recently, Meghan Markle’s comments about her “rotten time” in the UK stirred quite a bit of controversy. Royal expert Michael Cole was quick to push back against Meghan’s statements. He argued that Meghan was initially welcomed with open arms and celebrated as a breath of fresh air in the royal family. According to Cole, the couple had a positive reception back in 2017, and their wedding was met with a warm public response.

On the other hand, Newsweek’s Bataa Unar Sargon painted a different picture. Sargon suggested that Americans now view Harry and Meghan as a type of celebrity known more for their wealth and privilege than for any particular talent. Despite plans for new projects in 2024, many haven’t materialized yet. The couple’s brief visit to Nigeria in May, while notable, was largely overshadowed by their royal connections, which played a significant role in their fame and wealth.

Sargon also criticized Meghan for not appreciating her royal privileges. He pointed out that before meeting Harry, Meghan was relatively unknown, and her transition into royal life came with substantial public support and financial backing. The grandeur of their wedding, funded by taxpayers, seemed to contrast sharply with Meghan’s claims of dissatisfaction.

Critics argue that Meghan’s complaints about her time in the UK seem misplaced given the lavish lifestyle she enjoyed. From a multi-million dollar wedding to expensive jewelry and a taxpayer-funded residence, Meghan’s experience was far from a “rotten time,” according to her critics. They also questioned why, after receiving so much, Meghan is now critical of the royal family and their role in her life.

Some speculate that Meghan and Harry’s departure from the UK and their subsequent media ventures may have fueled their dissatisfaction. Despite lucrative contracts with Netflix and Spotify, these projects haven’t fully lived up to their potential. Critics argue that the couple’s public complaints and controversial content may be a way to stay relevant and maintain media attention.

In addition to their media ventures, Meghan’s criticism seems to overshadow the benefits she received while part of the royal family. Critics argue that Meghan’s ongoing complaints and criticisms of the royals, combined with her lucrative opportunities since leaving the UK, suggest a sense of entitlement and a lack of gratitude.

Meanwhile, Lopez is enjoying an Italian vacation — seemingly all to herself.

The singer, 54, was spotted on a boat with friends in Positano, also on Wednesday, rocking a yellow bandeau top beneath an open button-down, which she paired with matching shorts.

Though Lopez gave her “hero,” Affleck, a shout-out in honor of Father’s Day this past weekend, the couple are reportedly selling the $60 million Beverly Hills mansion they bought just last May.

“Jenny has had enough, and she really tried, but she can do no more,” an insider told the Daily Mail earlier this week, claiming that the pair’s marriage is “not getting any better; it’s worse.”

Part of those plans reportedly include reviving her recently canceled “This Is Me… Live” tour.

“She is excited about going on tour next year when her personal life is on calmer ground and she can connect with her fans,” the insider shared. “She will take her tribe with her and make the most of it.”

Another informant close to the actress admitted that the director “can be grumpy and a downer” but made sure to note he’s “a wonderful father.”

Last week, a source told “Entertainment Tonight” that the duo have “been living separate lives” but are “not officially separated yet.”

“At this point, they are just doing their own thing,” the source explained. “They went into their relationship very optimistic and thought things could change, but they haven’t.”

Affleck reportedly began staying in a home in Brentwood in mid-May, and Lopez has apparently been “touring houses and shopping around for her own home.”

“Ben is sad about it all but focused on his work, being a great dad and co-parenting well with Jennifer Garner,” the source said.

Prince Harry reveals he was not William’s best man and says it was a ‘bare-faced lie’

Prince Harry told how he was forced to go along with the “bare-faced lie” that he was his brother William ’s best man, insisting: “Willy didn’t want me giving a best man’s speech”.

Revealing how his bitter rift with the heir to the throne hardened more than a decade ago, the Duke of Sussex said he was made to act out the role in order to spare interest into the lives of William’s two closest friends. Harry was officially classed as William’s best man at his wedding to Kate in 2011 and even travelled with the future King to Westminster Abbey in a Bentley.

But in an astonishing declaration he claimed it was all for show and his brother’s close friends James Meade and Thomas Van Straubenzee actually gave the traditional speech at the reception. Instead, Harry was demoted to act as a mere compere and introduce them. The revelation poses questions as to devastating length and breakdown to their once inseparable bond, described in searing and brutal detail in his new explosive memoir.

Released this week by mistake ahead of its official global launch next Tuesday, booksellers in Spain gave the world its first glimpse at ‘Spare’. A reference to the phrase “heir and a spare” uttered by his father King Charles to his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, when he was born, it has already become a global bestseller and sent shockwaves around the royal family.

Harry’s brutal takedowns of members of his family including his father, “wicked stepmother” Camilla and sister-in-law Kate and once beloved brother William have sent shockwaves through the royal family. The Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace households have refused to engage in a “tit-for-tat” battle of words with Harry with one insider claiming the royals were “beyond weary” of the Duke’s attacks.

In further petty claims Harry told how Prince William was tipsy on rum hours before his wedding to Kate in 2011. The Duke says his older brother went down to greet people camping out on the Mall by Buckingham Palace, ahead of the ceremony while intoxicated, having been drinking to calm his nerves.

Harry said to him: “You smell of alcohol” and offered him some mint sweets as he lowered the windows of the car, describing the smell of “the aftermath of last night’s rum” on his “tipsy” brother’s breath. Bitter and acrimonious allegations spill from the 557 pages seen in full for the first time on Thursday as The Mirror got hold of a copy from a bookshop in southern Spain.

Their squabbling included his own wedding; seven years later, when the brothers rowed over whether Harry should get married with a beard. “At one point he actually ordered me, as the Heir speaking to the Spare, to shave,” he wrote – even though the late Queen had given his facial hair the seal of royal approval. Emphasising the competitive nature of their relationship, Harry adds: “He hated the idea of me enjoying a perk that he’d been denied”.

In the same chapter, Harry reveals his wife Meghan and the Princess of Wales were at loggerheads from the “early days”, laying the blame on a misunderstanding over Kate thinking Meghan wanted her “fashion contacts” when in fact she had her own. Harry claims William and Kate confessed that they were huge fans of Suits, the legal drama in which Meghan played paralegal Rachel Zane, with William exclaiming “f*** off!” when he revealed he was dating Meghan.

In another extract of the book Harry recalls an “awkward moment” between his wife, Meghan Markle, and his sister-in-law, Kate. The uncomfortable encounter allegedly went down before the Sussexes’ and the Waleses’ Royal Foundation Forum appearance in 2018, when Harry’s new wife asked to borrow Kate’s lip gloss when she forgot hers.

Harry said: “Kate, taken aback, went into her handbag and reluctantly pulled out a small tube,” Harry wrote. “Meg squeezed some onto her finger and applied it to her lips. Kate grimaced.” Harry goes further to lay into his brother and Kate, suggesting that staff took sides in the run-up to Megxit. “Team Cambridges versus Team Sussex.

Rivalry, jealousy, competing agendas – it all poisoned the atmosphere,” he writes. In one of the more bizarre of Harry’s claims, he tells how he believed that Princess Diana had faked her death to escape the press. The Duke of Sussex was just 12 when his mother died in a tragic car crash in a Paris tunnel. In “Spare,” he admits that he has spent the subsequent decades trying to find out what really happened on that fateful night.

Following the tragedy the young princes were at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, staying with their grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Harry told: “With nothing to do but roam the castle and talk to myself, a suspicion took hold, which then became a firm belief. This was all a trick.”

Detailing the further breakdown of his relationship with his brother, Harry claims William was constantly “jealous” of him for being allowed certain privileges over him, such as growing a beard at his wedding and setting up the successful Invictus Games sporting event around the world for injured service personnel.

“He appeared supremely irritated,” the former military pilot writes in his book, out Jan. 10, claiming that William complained it would drain funds from their foundation. Harry, 38, called his sibling’s issue “absurd” and explained that the financing would come from the Endeavor Fund, a branch he “created specifically for the rehabilitation of veterans,” as well as donors. Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace both declined to comment on any of the allegations.

Loose Women’s Kaye Adams and Coleen Nolan share their experiences of workplace sexual harassment – but some viewers were not impressed with the advice they gave

Loose Women stars Kaye Adams and Coleen Nolan have opened up sexual harassment they faced from men in their early careers on today’s episode of Loose Women.

Coleen shared it was a “terrible time” for women when she was part of girl band The Nolans with her sisters at the height of their fame in the ’70s and ’80s. “You did get guys coming up and pinching your bum,” she revealed. Explaining how she dealt with it, the 58-year-old said: “I’d just turn around and go, ‘If you do that again, I’ll going to knock your head off mate!‘ I didn’t have to run somewhere and say, I want him fired.”

Kaye then detailed her experience when she was working as a young journalist, but said she dealt with unwanted advances slightly differently. She told the audience in the ITV studio: “There were a few occasions where older men did very much overstep the mark… and at 22 I just did not have the confidence at that point to turn around and say take a hike. They were my boss and I was scared that I would lose my job.”

Viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their own experiences with one saying: “I got loads of harassment at aged 18 in my first job. It would be nice to think that things have got better since those days #loosewomen.” Another said: “#loosewomen I was in a job in my 20s and one of the girls said the boss is a bit touchy feely so don’t be alone with him… as though this is normal and no one actually mentioned or took it further!”

But others were not impressed with Coleen’s comments that a man shouldn’t lose his job over certain workplace behaviours, with some branding her advice “dangerous” and “disappointing”. One viewer fumed: “Couldn’t find the controls to turn off Loose Women so I had to listen to Coleen Nolan telling us how men shouldn’t lose their jobs for slapping girls arses @loosewomen.”

Another chimed in: “Coleen claiming that it is extreme for someone to lose their job because of sexual assault/intimidation in the workplace is the reason it still happens. Very disappointing and dangerous attitude @ITV.”

While a third said: “@loosewomen what a shame you missed the opportunity to talk abut consent!! Can’t believe you turned it into the ‘we’ll all be scared to hug anyone’ crap. Internal misogyny is strong.”

The discussion arose from the Loose Women talking about employers offering mandatory consent classes in the wake of the Spanish FA World Cup kiss row, which saw a football chief kiss a female player on the lips without her consent. Wading into the debate, new Loose Women’s guest panellist Olivia Attwood said it wasn’t something that should be brought into the workplace and said: “Surely people should know [how to behave]. It’s a no brainer.

“The minute that footballer said, ‘I don’t feel comfortable, I don’t like it’. He should have issued an apology and the conversation ends there. Why is there even a debate with him saying, ‘I didn’t mean to cause offence’. But you did, so apologise or step down.”

Former Love Island star turned documentary maker Olivia made her Loose Women debut earlier this month and is already proving a hit with viewers. Varifocal lenses allow wearers to see at any distance as they have different sections on the lenses for viewing up close and in the distance. It means people can wear one pair of glasses for their day-to-day life such as driving, shopping or reading.

Denise first debuted the glasses earlier this week on Loose Women and also shared a snap to Instagram of the eyewear. However, despite Denise claiming she has had “mixed reviews” for her glasses, the majority of comments on social media were positive for the eyewear.

After posting a snap with co-star Frankie Bridge, who is starring in London’s 2:22 A Ghost Story, Denise penned: “Honestly. Soooo proud of my friend (and pretend daughter) @frankiebridge. Denise’s 409K followers were quick to react to the glasses, one person said: “Loving the glasses can you share where they are from x”, a different account put: “I love your glasses babe where they from you look amazing!! And you frankie of course lol xx”, another follower wrote: “Ok, but u r killing it in those glasses!!! Always so beautiful” while a different fan added: “Love the glasses.”

Earlier this month, Denise sent fans wild once again as she joined forces with Carol McGiffin to pose for “Only Nans”. The pair enjoyed a getaway to France with their respective other halves and they wasted no time in trying to catch a tan. Denise even joked that the pair had joined a racy adult content site as she teased fans that they should be prepared to subscribe to her page.

Captioning her post, Denise penned: “A momentary lapse in concentration whilst shooting our ‘Only Nans’ content chez @the_mcgiff!!!! Get ready to subscribe,” alongside several laughing emojis.

A third shared: “This is so painful i am loving it! #loosewomen,” with a fourth writing: “I will never understand women swooning over Cliff not now or back in the day, and that’s allowing for all of us having different taste. I genuinely don’t get it. #LooseWomen.” A fifth penned on social media: “Cliff Richard is insufferable. Get him off. #LooseWomen.”

However, some took to social media to share their excitement at seeing Cliff back on their TVs. One wrote: “Gloria and Sir Cliff’s friendship is absolutely fantastic. Plus, you can see it’s not just for the TV screens, but it’s a true and long life friendship.” A second added: “Cliff looks fantastic for his age. What is his secret? #LooseWomen,” whilst others praised his singing voice and said it was good to see his successful career continuing years after it began.

Cliff and Gloria’s friendship goes way back, with the pair having met decades ago. Speaking about how their friendship started, she said: “When the Troubles were in Northern Ireland… no entertainer would come. Cliff was the first one that came and there was a huge buzz about it and it was a gospel concert. I had joined the BBC, given the job, and I went in naively and said, ‘Oh Cliff Richard’s in town, he’d be good for the programme’. And they went, ‘We’ve tried every which way to get him and he’s not doing anything.’

“But I knew the vicar of that church. See, I rarely take no for an answer so I rang him up and said, ‘If you finish quite early at the church, would you give me a call?’ And I got the call and Cliff agreed to do it so I went down!”

EXCLUSIVE: Loose Women star Sophie Morgan weighs in on show feud rumours amid ‘cut-throat’ claims

Loose Women panellist Sophie Morgan has weighed in on show feud rumours after claims of a ‘cut-throat’ atmosphere on the daytime ITV show

Sophie Morgan has weighed in on Loose Women feud rumours as the show was hit with “cut-throat” claims.

The TV presenter, 38, shared her own experiences working on the ITV daytime show after claims it is a far from pleasant programme to work on. Talent agent Melanie Blake claimed Loose Women was a “cut-throat place to work and not This Morning.” Sophie’s co-star Denise Welch recently slammed the claims in a heated social media post.

The former Coronation Street star admitted she “adores” her fellow panellists and would never work for a programme which she deemed to be toxic. Paralympic presenter Sophie has also defended the ITV show, as she told The Mirror: “Honest to god, I love the Loose Women. They are the greatest bunch of supporters and champions and they’re funny. I love them, I love them all.

“They are just great, powerhouse women with humour and just lovely. I have so much respect and time for them and the people who work behind the camera. The whole family there – I love it. It’s one of the things I look forward to coming back to.” Sophie joined the Loose Women panel in 2021 and makes regular appearances on the show.

Since launching her Rights On Flights campain after sharing her own travel nightmares, Sophie said she has received a lot of support from her ITV colleagues particularly Charlene White. “They always give me time to talk about the issue, which is so generous and kind so I am very very lucky,” she added.

The “cut-throat” claims come after Melanie, who managed some of the biggest television stars previously said: “Considering I represented over 15 women on that show, I am only friends with Saira Khan. But I am in such a positive career space right now, it’s just not a period of time I want to relive. But I can confirm in my experience, it’s that show that’s a cut-throat place to work and not This Morning.”

This infuriated Denise, 65, who has appeared on the show in various roles since 2000 as she took to X, formerly known as Twitter, saying: “So disappointing that a female agent @MelanieBlakeUK constantly uses her position to tear down other women. It’s such a cliché that women can’t work together without being b*****s. I adore my @loosewomen colleagues otherwise I wouldn’t work there.”

She later added: “Melanie writes that Loose Women was and is a toxic place to work. I’m sorry Melanie but it isn’t. I love it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t work there. If she only speaks to one of the women she used to represent then that says more about her than them.” Responding to Denise, Melanie said that her comments referred specifically to the “era” she worked on theITVdaytime programme.

Speaking previously, Melanie told Notebook: “Put a load of ambitious women together with a small amount of seats to fill and inevitably there is always going to be tension. Showbiz isn’t all diamonds and rosé. Despite the party line of the Loose Women having been the best of friends from day one, it’s simply that, a party line.”

Last month, Kaye Adams said: “I do get fed up that almost always we will be asked whether we b***h about each other. I’m just waiting for Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker to be asked the same question because they just never are. When we are asked about feuds, we think it is funny. It is certainly not a viper’s nest. The one thing that I can guarantee when I go to the Loose Women, regardless of the line-up of women, regardless of the topics, at some point in that day, I will have a real belly laugh.”
