Although shielded from the public eye and rarely making appearances, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s two children could make their debut appearance at a major event held next year in Canada.

Express.co.uk reveals the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are busy planning for the logisitcs of the Invictus Games opening ceremony in Vancouver in 2025 and are considering taking Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, to the “family focused” event.

The event is scheduled to be held on February 8, 1pm, at BC Place Vancouver and contestants taking part in the Games can also bring their families and young children along.

The source said: “Harry and Meghan are planning to take Archie and Lilibet to help promote a new ‘family-friendly’ Invictus Games.

“The Sussexes have been very involved with the organisational elements of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler events and it was very much their idea to make this a family-friendly games so that those taking part can bring their children along.”

According to the source, Invictus Games organisers have scheduled a week of “family-friendly” summer and winter sporting events to encourage sports fans and wounded veterans to get the younger generation involved.

It is thought Harry’s wishes are for Prince Archie to continue the legacy of the Invictus Games and take ownership when he reaches maturity. The source revealed: “A patronage will one day be passed to Archie so the foundation can be kept within the family. Harry is adamant that the Invictus Games will remain a Sussex initiative.”

After a week of “family-friendly” fun, it is thought the closing ceremony will be an “adult only” occasion and take place at Rogers Arena at 7pm on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the end of the nine-day competition.

Prince Harry, 39, is heavily involved with the Invictus Games and co-founded the event in 2014 while he was working with the Royal Foundation which he then shared with Prince William and Princess Kate, both 42.

In February 2024, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle visited Vancouver, Canada for the “One Year to Go” event ahead of the Winter Invictus Games and the couple met competitors at the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort.

Around 550 competitors from up to 25 nations will take part in events including sitting volleyball, swimming and wheelchair basketball in the 2025 games.

Winter sports such as alpine skiing, snowboarding and wheelchair curling will also be part of the competition for the first time.

The first edition of the games was held in London in 2014, with subsequent competitions being held in the US, Canada, and Australia.

Last year in a Netflix documentary series about the Invictus Games, Prince Harry described his emotional “unravelling” after he returned from military service in Afghanistan in 2013. The five-part documentary series, Heart of Invictus, told the story of the Prince’s sports competition for servicemen and women.

  • Victoria Beckham’s perfect life is about to fall apart when Beckham accidentally discovers this, really?

Victoria Beckham’s perfect life is about to fall apart when Beckham accidentally discovers this, really?

It should be a time of celebration for the Beckham brood – having just marked Victoria’s 50th birthday with a star-studded party, plus the couple’s 25th wedding anniversary coming up this summer.

But there’s one big elephant in the room that’s overshadowing the festivities: bestselling author Tom Bower’s tell-all book, which is due out in June, just two weeks before their milestone anniversary.

The book, titled The House Of Beckham: Money, Sex And Power, promises to deliver a “revealing tour of the lives of one of the world’s most famous and influential power couples”,

including never-before-seen sourcing and interviews with insiders. And despite fans feeling excited to glimpse behind the perfect façade of Posh, 50, and Becks,

48, we’re told Victoria is terrified about what secrets could be unearthed in the book’s bombshell 320 pages.

Now, a source tells heat, “When the blurb for the book includes the line, ‘Are their lives really as perfect as the Beckhams would like the world to believe?’ Then, it’s already pretty ominous.

This is Vic’s worst nightmare – everything she has done in her life has been about presenting a picture of perfection to create a powerful personal brand. For the critics of her singing abilities, for those who thought David could do better, that she wasn’t good looking enough for him or talented enough to be a fashion designer – whenever Vic felt under threat, her reaction has been to present this image of invincible perfection.”

The insider continues, “A book about their ‘untold story’ is a daunting promise, and Vic and David have both been extremely on edge about what may come out and how it could ruin everything they’ve built. The Beckhams’ rags-to-riches story didn’t come without struggles. They built up a brand and a business based on leveraging their appeal as a couple into an ability to make money – and they’ve had their fair share of dramas behind closed doors.

“There’s been business relationships that didn’t work out, rivalries and power struggles, as well as people looking to use them. Lots of things have ended in acrimony, and to have someone come along, seemingly with the intent of peeling back that perfect veneer, is terrifying to Victoria. There’s the life they’ve served up as Brand Beckham, and then there’s the dramas of life as a showbiz couple who got together in their early twenties.”

The couple’s appeal reached new heights last year, following the release of David’s hit Netflix documentary Beckham. The series gave fans an insight into the many storms the couple have weathered together in their over 20-year romance: from David’s rise to footballing fame, the heady days of Posh and Becks, and David’s battle with depression following his 1998 World Cup exit.

Our source says, “The early years of the marriage were pretty crazy. They were intense, and there was a lot of drama. After all, they were both young and in the spotlight, with their heads spinning from global success and money being thrown at them. There’s been lots of cheating rumours, as well as celeb feuds and fallings out with lots of people, from Tom Cruise to Cheryl Cole and a few WAGs. Then there’s the personal stuff, such as Vic’s eating habits, the kids’ lives, and all the wedding drama with Nicola and Brooklyn.”

And while there’s plenty of potentially salacious fodder that could find its way into Tom’s book, the biggest potential bump in the Beckhams’ road, which could cover more than a few pages, is David’s rumoured affair with Rebecca Loos. Back in 2003, it was alleged that David had been involved in an affair with his then personal assistant Rebecca, which reportedly took place while the footballer was playing for Real Madrid in Spain. David and Victoria briefly addressed the rumours in Beckham – not confirming them, but instead reflecting on how the tidal wave of media attention affected their marriage.

Admitting that period of time was the “unhappiest” she had ever been, Posh revealed, “Up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else. When we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either.”

With the alleged affair now likely to be dragged up once more, we’re told, “Vic feels like she’s lived her life with the title of ‘the most-cheated-on woman in Britain’, because of the Rebecca Loos story – it’s like having a cartoon rain cloud hovering over her head. The one thing she does not need is revival of the narrative of a woman destroyed and broken by the man she adored – her dream of a forever love and perfect life crushed and her trust gone.”

But there’s more than just VB’s image at stake. With the book set to reveal a number of bombshells about the couple, we’re told that Victoria is determined to shelter the couple’s children Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12, from any potential fallout.

“Tom Bower seems determined to pry open old wounds, putting not just Victoria and David through the wringer, but their families and their kids, too,” says the source. “Vic is furious. She and David have spent the last few weeks trying to come up with a containment strategy and figure out who may have spoken to Tom.”

We’re told that Victoria is also turning to David for damage control – urging him to come clean about any final secrets before the book’s release. “They took a day away from everything recently to sit down and go over stuff – they’re preparing for any eventuality,” the source reveals. “Vic did beg David to let her know if there’s any more skeletons in the closet, but he promised her that they’re on the same page.”

As they prepare for what’s to come, Posh and Becks are putting on a united front – and looked closer than ever at Victoria’s big birthday party last week. As the couple celebrated with A-list friends and family, including all four of their children, they didn’t appear to have a care in the world – with David even giving his tipsy wife a piggyback to their car after leaving at 2.30am.

But behind the unfazed exterior, we’re told that VB can’t help but feel sad. Despite their recent successes, it’s only a matter of weeks until the book’s publication throws the couple’s marriage and legacy back into the spotlight.

The source explains, “It really stung Vic when so many people used to question what David was doing with her. She’s spent her life trying to prove that she is good enough for him, that she really is a global pop star, a fashion designer, a perfect mother, ageless and with a flawless figure. That’s one of the biggest secrets she doesn’t want to come out – just how much she cares. She’s spent her life trying to control their public image, and now she feels that slipping away.”

  • During a recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, Beckham made Victoria electric when he continuously appeared with this woman

During a recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, Beckham made Victoria electric when he continuously appeared with this woman

David Beckham caused a fervid reaction among Malaysians when he posted an Instagram picture of himself — sitting on his haunches and smouldering into the distance,

with the Petronas Twin Towers looming over him — in Kuala Lumpur early this year. Peeking out under his sleeve was a flash of red — or burgundy, to be specific.

It was a watch from his day-to-day roster that enjoys a fair amount of wrist time nowadays.

“The Black Bay with a burgundy bezel is one of my favourites,” says the Tudor ambassador as he examines the 41mm steel timepiece.

“The five-link bracelet is one of the most comfortable bracelets to wear. But you know, I’ve always been a lover of watches for the longest time.”

Surrounded by an intimate group of journalists from the region at Sentul Pavilion, the football legend was as cool as a cucumber,

personally greeting all the writers before settling into his seat opposite the host of the evening, Nadia Heng. Beckham had just arrived from Pavilion Damansara, where he paid a visit to Tudor’s latest boutique in the city. Later in the night, he was set to appear at an exclusive event at Sentul Depot to talk about his partnership with the brand and its first state-of-the-art manufacture in Le Locle, Switzerland.

“It has been a really nice trip because I haven’t been here for a few years and this is my first time in Kuala Lumpur as a Tudor ambassador,” he says.

Founded by the visionary Hans Wilsdorf as a sister company to Rolex, Tudor is geared towards making watches for those with the most daring lifestyles, crafting companions that will aid extraordinary adventures on land, ice, in the air or underwater. Its high-profile ambassadors, including Beckham, New Zealand rugby team the All Blacks and “King of Mandopop” Jay Chou, are exemplary icons who each channel the brand’s Born To Dare spirit in their own way.

For those who have followed Beckham’s journey — or binge-watched his wildly successful docuseries on Netflix — this once-timid Leytonstone lad had a roller coaster of a career cut out for him. From Manchester United to Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy and Paris Saint-Germain, his pivotal moments on the field have made him one of the most recognisable athletes on the planet. But he was also making waves off the pitch.

Beckham had a penchant for experimentation and was adventurous in his stylistic choices. Who could forget the iconic sarong he wore for date night with then-fiancée Victoria in 1998 or when he turned up at Euro 2020 sans his signature blond locks?

“I don’t know where it came from, in all honesty, because I grew up in the East End of London and there were not many people pushing the boundaries in fashion back then. Even when I was a young kid … I remember going to a wedding. It was one of my mum’s friend’s wedding and I was a page boy. So, I had to walk down with the ring. I sat with the bride and she asked, ‘What would you like to wear? A suit or knickerbockers with tights and a pair of ballet slippers?’ And I chose the latter. So I was always into fashion without knowing it,” Beckham recalls.

“And then, obviously, when I got a little bit older and was in Manchester, I pushed the boundaries a little bit more with what I wore and my hair. I changed my hair quite a lot. And people always used to turn around to me and say, ‘Why are you doing your hair? Is it for attention?’ I’m like, ‘No, I was bored this morning and I just shaved my hair off.’ And that’s how it really happened. My sons are actually doing what I did 20 years ago. So, it’s quite cute.”

The kids are borrowing dad’s watches, too. “I can’t blame them. I’ll go in to get a special one and if it’s gone, I know exactly where it went. Mostly, it’s Romeo, but he has good taste.”

Beckham’s journey with Tudor started out rather serendipitously. Early one morning, he was strolling down Burlington Arcade alone, casually browsing the watch boutiques along the shopping gallery.

“I stopped at one of these shops that had some Rolexes in the window. I looked at one and thought, ‘I love that one. I’m going to go in and ask how much it is.’

“It was so beautiful and had everything I love about a watch. It had a blue dial and an old vintage leather strap on it. I walked in and said, ‘Can I see the Rolex there?’ And they were like, ‘It’s not a Rolex. It’s a [Tudor] Submariner Snowflake.’ And I was like, okay, I have to take this. So, that’s how it really started.” That Submariner is still in his stash.

Beckham says it felt “surreal” when Tudor asked him to be the face of the brand. “When I first started talking to the guys at Tudor, I knew straight away that it was a partnership and family I wanted to be a part of. They have pushed me in different directions where I probably felt uncomfortable, but I like to be challenged. So, it’s been a true honour.”

Speaking of challenges, there have been a few in his past career that were difficult, even for him, to square up to. He recalls two big ones. “I’d say when I got sent off in the 1998 World Cup. That was probably one of the biggest challenges because it didn’t just affect me, it affected my family as well, which was the toughest part.

“And the second one I would have to say was when I got a bad injury. I was lucky throughout my career and didn’t really get bad injuries. But when I got the ruptured Achilles, that was probably the only time when the surgeons turned around to me and said, ‘You might not play again.’ And that was quite difficult to hear.”

Whether you are on team Becks or not, no one can deny his diligence and incredible work ethic. He credits this to his parents. “My mum and dad were hard workers. Dad was a gas fitter and was still working when he was 75 years old. Mum still does the odd hairdresser thing. So, I was brought up like that and the moment I retired — almost 11 years ago now, unbelievable — I jumped straight into launching the team in Miami because I didn’t want to sit still.”

Inter Miami CF is shaping up to be a real force to be reckoned with. With Beckham’s expertise, they are set to be among the league’s most ferocious teams in 2024. “One of the first watches Tudor gifted me was very special. It’s kind of a one-off Pelagos with a black face with the Inter Miami logo on it. I loved it so much that I had more made for the other owners of Inter Miami. So, that’s probably my most special watch I have from Tudor.”

For over three decades, Beckham has constantly reinvented himself in front of the public eye, so one would assume he knows a thing or two about stepping out of comfort zones. But what he wants to emphasise most is to “just enjoy the moment”.

“I’ve met some incredible children over the last couple of days and they asked, ‘What would be your advice to us?’ And I just said, ‘Enjoy it. Enjoy what you’re doing.’ They love football, so enjoy playing it. If you don’t enjoy playing football, then stop and do something else.

“But I think savour the moment, because we’ve all seen in the last five years the challenges that people, businesses and families have come up against. You’ve just got to enjoy the moment. And when you decide to go for something, go for it all the way, because that’s the only way to do it.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle previously decided against hiring a Norland nanny and have, instead, opted to keep childcare within the family.

Meghan Markle’s mum, Doria Ragland is said to be the only person that Prince Harry and Meghan trust to care for their two children when they are not around.

Doria, 67, is said to have taken on the role as Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s nanny, with the pair preferring to take on a “more traditional” approach when it comes to childcare.

As previously reported by Express.co.uk, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to have Doria’s help has followed a series of unsuccessful partnerships with professional nannies over the past few years.

The Express earlier reported that a source said: “Harry and Meghan have used a number of nannies in the past, but now that Doria has moved in with the family, she has stepped up to help look after the children.

“There is sometimes additional help, but Doria is working closely with Meghan to ensure that the children are brought up in a close-knit and loving family environment.”

Meghan and Harry previously hired Lorren Khumalo – a paediatric nurse and consultant – to care for Archie, now aged five, shortly after his birth in 2019.

Speaking in an interview last year, Lorren said she comforted by Harry’s welcoming demeanour and described the household as very “normal”.

It was also previously reported that Meghan and Harry had dismissed a night nanny after an unsettling nighttime incident with their son – something that made the pair wary of any future hires.

This incident was included in Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durrand’s book ‘Finding Freedom’, describing how Meghan and Harry let her go on her second night working for them for being “unprofessional and irresponsible”.

The experience led the couple to feel nervous about the prospect of a future nanny, and are now said to feel “comfortable” knowing their children are in the care of Doria.

Describing Meghan and Harry as “extremely protective” when it comes to their children, the source added: “Meghan feels much more comfortable with the children under her mother’s watchful eye and Harry was very keen to keep it [childcare] in the family.

“Both Harry and Meghan are extremely protective of their children and only stop worrying about them if Doria is in charge whenever they are away.

“Doria was instrumental in looking after Archie and Lilibet when they [Harry and Meghan] were in Nigeria and she treats them like they are her own.”

Doria has also taken up residence in the Sussexes’ £12million-pound mansion in California – something that allows her to avoid long car journeys from her own home in View Park-Windsor Hills in Los Angeles.

The source added: “Doria spends nearly all of her time with Harry and Meghan. It’s basically a family of five,” the source said. “She [Doria] is amazingly close to the children and helps Meghan daily. She also steps in as a nanny whenever they travel abroad without the children.

“Meghan thought it very important that the children be brought up by family rather than an outsider so they feel safe and secure at all times.”

Prince Archie’s ‘real first words’ revealed and one of them was special to Prince Harry

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Prince Archie, spoke an unusual first word but it was one of his later ones which touched the Duke of Sussex the most.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have previously revealed their firstborn son, Prince Archie’s first words – and one of them was quite emotional for the duke. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Prince Archie Harrison of Sussex, was born on May 6, 2019, in London.

He only spent a few months in England before his parents quit their royal duties and shipped the entire family to California in the US in early 2020.

Since then, he has been residing in Montecito with his parents and his younger sister, Princess Lilibet, three, away from the public gaze.

But even though details about Archie’s life are kept to a minimum, Harry and Meghan have shared little snippets of his life in interviews and their Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, including what his first words were

In February 2021, Harry proudly revealed his son’s first word was “crocodile” while speaking on James Corden’s The Late Late Show.

He said: “My son is now over a year and a half, he is hysterical, he’s got the most amazing personality, he’s already putting two, three words together, he’s already singing songs. His first word was ‘crocodile’, three syllables.”

In March of the same year, the couple made their infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey, when they revealed bombshell claims about the Royal Family.

But they also revealed another one of Archie’s favourite words at the time – “hydrate”. During the interview, Harry was talking about his new life in California and said: “I guess, the highlight for me is sticking him on the back of the bicycle in his little baby seat and taking him on these bike rides, which is something I was never able to do when I was young.

“I can see him on the back, and he’s got his arms out. And he’s like ‘whoo’ chatting, chatting, chatting; going, ‘Palm tree, house’ and all this sort of stuff.”

Then Oprah asked: “What’s his new favourite word now?” to which Meghan replied: “Oh, my gosh. He’s on a roll. In the past couple weeks, it has been ‘hydrate’ which is just hysterical.”

Harry added: “But, also, whenever everyone leaves the house, he’s like, ‘drive safe’.” Two months later, in May, Harry appeared on the fifth episode of his mental health documentary series with Oprah Winfrey on Apple TV, The Me You Can’t See.

He revealed that his son had learned the word “grandma” because of a picture of his mother, the late Princess Diana, in the nursery of their home and that it had made him “sad”.

The duke said: “I got a photo up in his nursery and it was one of the first words that he said, apart from ‘mama’, ‘papa’ it was then ‘grandma’ – Grandma Diana.

“It’s the sweetest thing, but at the same time it makes me really sad, because she should be here.”

Nanny Tiggy’s Deleted Proof Exposes Meghan’s Past: Prince Harry Isolated in the US

Nanny Tiggy’s Deleted Proof Exposes Meghan’s Past: Prince Harry Isolated in the US

In a shocking revelation, Nanny Tiggy has come forward to claim that she sent Prince Harry evidence exposing Meghan Markle’s questionable past before their wedding.

However, the Duchess allegedly deleted the proof, leaving Harry unaware of the information.

This revelation adds to the growing concerns surrounding Prince Harry’s isolation from his British friends and trusted advisors since moving to the United States.

During a discussion on Palace Confidential, Richard Eden, the Daily Mail’s diary editor, along with Sarah Vine, a Daily Mail columnist, and Rebecca English, the Daily Mail’s royal editor, delved into the fallout between Prince Harry and his beloved childhood nanny, Tiggy.

According to Vine, Harry has distanced himself from his old friends and advisors, including people like Tiggy Legg-Burke, who used to play a crucial role in supporting him.

“I hear that he doesn’t talk to any of his old friends, he doesn’t listen to any of his old advisors,” Vine explained.

Tiggy Legg-Burke, who had previously been the nanny for both Prince William and Prince Harry, later became a personal assistant to Prince Charles.

She maintained a close relationship with the royal family well into their adulthood.

However, Harry’s relationship with Tiggy deteriorated due to Meghan’s influence, betraying the woman who had been like a second mother to him.

Interestingly, reports suggest that Prince Harry had introduced Meghan Markle to Tiggy Legg-Burke, eager to have his bride-to-be meet the person who had cared for him after the tragic death of Princess Diana.

Despite their differences, the two women reportedly got along famously.

A source revealed, “She’s a very significant person in Harry’s life, almost like a mother figure as she looked after Harry when Princess Diana died.”

It is believed that Harry and Meghan met Tiggy after their visit to Cardiff in January 2018, four months prior to their wedding.

However, in April, Tiggy texted Harry with alarming information about Meghan’s past, stating that MI5 was investigating her.

Unfortunately, Tiggy never received a response, leading her to wonder if Meghan had deleted the message and Harry was unaware of its contents.

Since then, they have lost contact with each other, leaving Tiggy unable to share her concerns and opinions with Harry.

The significance of Tiggy’s role in Harry’s life cannot be understated.

She was the one person who would genuinely tell him the truth, even if it meant questioning his decisions.

This recent revelation raises questions about Meghan’s past and the extent to which Harry was aware of it before their marriage.

In a separate note, criticisms have been directed towards Meghan Markle, with some claiming that she was nothing more than a failed social media influencer who managed to marry a prince out of desperation.

These critics argue that Meghan’s focus was on gaining fame and expensive clothing, rather than embracing the privileges and responsibilities that come with being a member of the royal family.

They highlight her lack of interest in the rich art collection housed in the royal residences, as well as her tendency to imitate others in terms of fashion and home decor.

The controversy surrounding Meghan’s decorating choices, such as the Frogmore Cottage, has also drawn attention.

Critics point out that her style seems to follow popular trends rather than being a reflection of her own personality.

Furthermore, they argue that her preference for white and black, both devoid of color, is ironic considering her mixed-race background.

In conclusion, Nanny Tiggy’s claim of deleted proof exposing Meghan’s past adds another dimension to the ongoing scrutiny of Prince Harry’s isolation and Meghan’s actions.

Meghan devastated as ‘she can’t understand why people don’t admire her’

Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard has yet to make a single product available for the public to buy.

Meghan Markle is struggling to understand why her output is not generating any respect and admiration amongst the general public, according to a royal expert.

Earlier this year it appeared that she was working on numerous projects, from launching her new brand American Riviera Orchard to producing two new shows for Netflix and releasing a new podcast.

However she still seems to be finding the backlash hard as she reportedly feels constantly criticised and as if she is “unfairly picked on”.

Tom Quinn claimed to the Mirror US: “There is a growing rift between Harry and Meghan caused by Meghan’s increasing concern that her life is not going in the direction she had planned – she loves media attention and hates the fact that surveys suggest she and Harry are no longer of much interest to the American public.

“Meghan was in tears when the brand launched and her new jam was widely mocked for being expensive and nothing special.

“She has reached the point now where she thinks that anything and everything she does will be unfairly criticised. Like her husband, she feels that people are unfairly picking on her – she cannot understand why people don’t admire her work.”

Inside the Australian school King Charles attended and his rude two-word nickname

During the King’s Speech at the State Opening of Parliament, King Charles mentioned his upcoming visit to Australia and Samoa.

The King is preparing to visit the two countries in October, an itinerary that will span 12 time zones and marks a watershed moment in his recovery from cancer and return to public duties amid his ongoing treatment.

The visit – his first as King – is set to be an important one for the monarchy not only as a test of his physical stamina but to help increase support for himself to remain Australia’s head of state.

The King has strong ties to the Commonwealth country having made 15 official visits – the most recent in 2018. But his love of Australia goes even deeper than ceremonial.

One of the lesser-known stories from the King’s youth is that he spent several months in an Australian boarding school as a teenager.

Royal expert tears into Meghan Markle after she said ‘she had rotten time in UK’

Meghan Markle has been torn apart by a royal expert who countered her claims that she had a “rotten time” when she moved to the UK due to her relationship with Prince Harry.

Michael Cole told GB News that contrary to what she believes, Meghan was welcomed to the Royal Family as a “breath of fresh air”, despite the couple stepping down as working royals in 2020.

He recalled after their engagement announcement in November 2017: “Weren’t they well-received in this country? Look how welcomed they were.”

Mr Cole spoke about allegations in Omid Scobie’s 2023 book Endgame that Meghan did not enjoy her time in Britain, adding: “In the book the Duchess of Sussex says she never wants to come to Britain again, she never felt comfortable here.

“She had a terribly rotten time. Well I’m sure that’s a surprise to the people who stood 20 deep in Windsor Great Park and cheered them on their wedding day.”

Eagle-eyed royal fans spot one thing missing from Queen Camilla’s outfit today

For the historic occasion to mark the State Opening of Parliament, Queen Camilla favoured her go-to designer, Fiona Clare, and donned an elegant white long-sleeve gown. The dress featured slightly exaggerated shoulders and ornate embroidered detailing on the hemline.

Along with the white gown, Queen Camilla fashioned a pair of silver leather pumps courtesy of Eliot Zed, a brand the queen consort has worn in the past.

However, people noted Camilla had one thing missing from her attire – her ankle bandage had disappeared. The Queen had previously worn the bandage on her right ankle during her two-day visit to the Channel Islands.

It is understood that the bandage on her right foot was supporting her after an ankle sprain on July 15.

Meghan Markle shows true colours with tragic blog post about dad Thomas Markle

Meghan Markle’s now-defunct blog The Tig gave a touching insight into her complicated relationship with her father, Thomas Markle Senior, whom she has now been estranged from for six years.

The Duchess of Sussex started her blog back in 2014, two years before she met Prince Harry, in which she gave her fans a look at her private life and her love of food and travel.

It closed in 2017, the year before Meghan and Harry’s wedding, an event which also saw the end of her having contact with her father after he staged paparazzi photos and was unable to attend the ceremony due to ill health.

One post from her blog, which was published for Father’s Day, heartbreakingly shows how close they once were as she detailed special memories from her childhood with him.

Unusual way Donald Trump ‘saved’ Prince Harry from huge ‘kick in the teeth’

Prince Harry’s backlash for the EPSPY Award acceptance was a “kick in the teeth” according to critics, but the Duke was saved from a huge amount of criticism after the assassination of Donald Trump became the most important story in the news cycle.

This is because shortly after the Duke of Sussex collected the Pat Tillman award for service to the sports community on July 11, the news cycle moved on to Donald Trump surviving an assassination attempt near Butler in Pennsylvania.

Eric Schiffer, chair of Reputation Management Consultants told Newsweek: “Harry is only slightly injured by the association or by his move to accept the award. He will absolutely survive this in part because of the media cycle. No one really paid much attention given the contrast to what happened since Trump was shot.”

King Charles appears to snap at page boy as he adjusts robes at State Opening

As King Charles took his seat for the King’s Speech in Parliament, he appeared to get a little frustrated with a page boy tending to his robes in the House of Lords.

The monarch, 75, abruptly pulled back his hand when his regalia was being tended to by a page boy trying to sort out the garments properly, but the King took matters into his own hands as he smoothed out the material.

A close-up image of the King shows a scrutinising Charles eager to sort out his attire. The undoubtedly heavy material seemed to fluster the young boy, but after the interaction, the King shared a smile with Queen Camilla who was sitting by his side.

Bizarre rule that sees MP held hostage at Buckingham Palace during State Opening

The King and Queen were in Westminster for the State Opening of Parliament today, but there is one tradition that may have puzzled those watching on TV.

Mrs. Samantha Dixon MBE MP, Vice-Chamberlain of the Household, was today “held hostage” until King Charles returned to Buckingham Palace as part of a strange tradition that dates from the 1600s.

It began following Guy Fawkes’ failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605. This took place when he and his supporters planned to blow up the Palace of Westminster when King James I arrived.

Queen Camilla’s title she never used which is now used by Princess Kate

Before Camilla became Queen she was known as the Duchess of Cornwall, however there was another royal title she could technically use which now belongs to Princess Kate.

Upon her marriage to King Charles, when he was still Prince of Wales, Camilla became the Princess of Wales.

But she decided not to use the title publicly, presumably out of respect to the late Princess Diana, who also famously used that title.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘perfect way back’ into Royal Family exposed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could use Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as a way back into the Royal Family, an expert has claimed.

Speaking on GB News back in January, host Patrick Christys told royal expert Kinsey Schofield that the pair could “surely use the grandkids as a way back” into the family. To which, she agreed that this would be the “perfect” way back into the Firm.

Ms Schofield said: “If Harry did want a way back in he could use the excuse that despite his personal beef with King Charles, he wants his children to have a relationship with their grandfather, it would be the perfect way back wouldn’t it?”

Princess Kate’s wish for Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to avoid becoming ‘spares’

Princess Kate and Prince William may ensure their younger children Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis do not feel like spares by encouraging them to work outside the Royal Family.

Royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! magazine: “William and Kate must be acutely aware of the problems for a royal spare. They have already shown that they have a different and modern attitude to bringing up royal children and I’m sure they will do everything to make Charlotte and Louis feel every bit as special, loved and valued as George.

“I imagine they will encourage Louis to explore life outside the royal fold… it could be the military, but it could also be working in the charity world or whatever he finds appealing after his education is finished.”

“There is a realisation, however, as she only attended one of the finals, that she is, as she put it “not out of the woods”.

Lip reader on King Charles’s blunt demand as he helps struggling Camilla in harsh weather

A lip reader has given an insight into King Charles’s interactions with Queen Camilla during their royal visit to Jersey and Guernsey.

On their first day in Jersey they were plagued by wet weather, as they both held umbrellas to protect themselves while Camilla also donned a raincoat.

The Queen was caught in a struggle, trying to manage her umbrella and slide her right arm into her coat sleeve, leading to an apparently exasperated Charles stepping in to assist.

According to lip reader Jacqui Press, who spoke to the Daily Mail, Charles instructed Camilla: “‘Move your arm through the back.”

Queen Camilla’s very controversial birthday party that Queen Elizabeth refused to attend

King Charles helped Queen Camilla celebrate her 50th birthday in July 1997, before they were married, but the late Queen Elizabeth reportedly refused to attend.

The party was held at Highgrove, his country estate in Gloucestershire, and no members of the Royal Family attended.

On the other hand it is not known exactly who was on the 80 person guest list.

The incident was famously depicted in the last series of The Crown, although a fictionalised version.

‘Anxious’ Queen Camilla’s six-word response to meeting Prince William for first time

Queen Camilla and Prince William may get along well now, but she was apparently nervous to meet him for the first time when he was still a schoolboy.

William had been returning home from Eton to York House in London for a weekend visit.

He returned home early for their first meeting as royal author Penny Junor claims Charles approached Camilla and said “he’s here” adding “let’s just get one with it”. Camilla and William were then said to have been left alone for half an hour to get acquainted.

After the encounter, Junor claims Camilla had a seven-word response. She said: “I need a gin and tonic.”

How David Beckham got ultimate ‘revenge’ on Prince Harry for brutal Meghan Markle ‘snub’, claims Tom Bower

DAVID Beckham ‘got revenge’ on Prince Harry after Meghan Markle “ordered” him to snub him after he flew 22 hours to Sydney at the royal’s request, according to a new biography.

Tom Bower claims in House of Beckham that Prince Harry didn’t meet with the footballing legend at the Invictus Games, despite inviting him to attend.

The explosive new book claims David was left “perplexed” at the snub in 2018, particularly as he’d been friends with the Duke of Sussex for years.

Tom claimed: “Beckham found himself alone at the Invictus Games stadium,” Mr Bower wrote about the Sydney-based event.

“Arriving on the agreed day to meet Prince Harry he was perplexed why officials were playing a dance to keep him happy, but away from Harry.”

David is said to have questioned the whereabouts of Harry and was oblivious that “the prince had ordered that under no circumstances was the footballer to be allowed near him.

Tom claimed: “Photographs of the two together were forbidden. The royal snub was brutal. David Beckham was puzzled.

“Why did the prince refuse to meet him?

“The exclusion order, it later transpired, was issued by Meghan. She did not want any competition in the media from Beckham, and especially not from his wife Victoria.”

Also in his bombshell biography, Tom claimed Meghan was “irritated” that Victoria had “considerably more wealth” than her.

The book alleged Meghan “put on airs” around Victoria when they first met, due to her status within the royal family and also as the Californian actress felt she had “little in common” with the former Spice Girl.

The biography claims: “In Meghan’s celebrity world, ranking depended on wealth and fame.
Moment Prince Harry walked past and ignored Brooklyn Beckham & Nicola Peltz, amidst the family feuds
“As a seasoned operator, Meghan deluded herself that her status in the Royal family placed her above Victoria in the social pecking order.

“She was irritated to discover that the Beckhams had considerably more wealth than herself.

“They owned five homes, had constant access to private jets, invitations to sail on yachts and much more money. And she was soon to be a duchess.”

According to the book, Victoria reportedly made an effort to befriend Meghan, due to her family’s long-standing friendship with Prince Harry and Prince William.

Due to her wish to avoid paparazzi, Meghan allegedly stayed at the Beckham residence in Beverly Hills during a private trip, and it meant her “secretly provided for by the Beckhams’ staff.”

Tom claimed “a member of Victoria’s staff offered Harry’s fiancé advice on the best facials and hairdressing in London.”

When it was reported that Victoria had given Meghan beauty advice, the relationship is said to have soured, with the Duke of Sussex allegedly calling David to accuse him and Victoria of leaking stories, leaving David ‘furious.’

The Beckhams did secure an invite to Harry and Meghan’s 2018 royal wedding, however Tom claims that in a bid to “punish” the Beckhams, they were not invited to the wedding dinner, despite welcoming other big names like George Clooney, who Meghan did not know personally.

Cracks allegedly first started emerging in the pair’s friendship in spring 2022 when the former footballer invited Prince William and Kate to his son Brooklyn’s wedding – and not Harry and Meghan.

Prince Harry’s ‘snub’ of David Beckham in Australia

AFTER flying for 22 hours from London to Sydney at Prince Harry’s request, David Beckham was puzzled why the prince had not met him.

But the prince had had no plans to see the former England football captain, nor even of being pictured with him, claimed Tom Bower.

It was October 2018, and Harry was hosting the Invictus Games.

Since David had played a prominent role bringing the 2012 Olympics to Britain and an important part in the 2010 unsuccessful bid for the football World Cup, it seemed natural for Prince Harry to ask David to join him at the celebrated competition for injured servicemen.

As a man who loved the royals, David would never refuse such an important request.

But having flown half-way around the world, he was perplexed why officials after he arrived at the sporting venue were playing a dance to keep him happy, but away from Harry.

She wanted no competition in the media from David, and especially not from his wife, Victoria.

The reason for the distance was Meghan, the newly married Duchess of Sussex.

At the time, a source said: “David’s attachment and history go back with William and Kate and they have a very strong relationship and they were their choice of wedding guests.

“It was always about them, it was never about Meghan and Harry.

“They are the people David and Victoria are attached to and it’s always been about them because they’ve had a long history together.”

And perhaps it wasn’t a coincidence that after the apparent ‘snub’, Meghan seemingly stopped wearing Victoria’s designs – while Kate wore them more frequently.

It seems the Beckhams’ loyalty to the other members of the royal family has paid off, with David being given a top charity ambassador role by King Charles after the pair bonded over love of nature.

Ex-Manchester United ace Becks, 49, surprised the King, 75, last year with a jar of his homemade honey then chatted about their passion for beekeeping.

The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power was released on 20 June.

In a period marked by significant upheavals within the British monarchy, one member has quietly ascended to a prominent role amidst shifting dynamics and challenges. The spotlight has increasingly turned to Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh.

Amid the passing of Queen Elizabeth and the departure of the Sussexes for a new life in the United States, Sophie has solidified her position within the royal family, earning recognition as a diligent and devoted member.

Known affectionately as the late Queen’s favored royal, Sophie has taken on an increasingly visible role. She has been seen attending prestigious events such as state banquets and Trooping the Colour alongside Queen Camilla.

Sophie’s elevation within the royal hierarchy became particularly evident following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step back from royal duties. Their departure left a notable gap, which Sophie has filled as one of the few working royals under the age of 70, alongside Prince Charles and Princess Camilla.

Recently, Sophie was prominently seated next to Emperor Narito at a state banquet for the Japanese royals at Buckingham Palace. This placement underscores her growing influence and the trust she commands from King Charles. Despite not being in regular contact with Meghan these days, Sophie shares similar passions for causes such as ending gender-based violence and promoting girls’ education. This reflects their shared commitment to humanitarian issues.

Sophie’s contributions as a working royal have taken her across the globe, from Kosovo to South Sudan and Iraq, where she has engaged directly with communities affected by gender-based violence. Her visit to Sierra Leone in 2020 highlighted her advocacy for women’s rights and her role in promoting peace-building efforts. This showcases the impactful work that members of the royal family can achieve on the ground.

Royal expert Richard Fitz Williams describes Sophie as cheerful, dedicated, and unassuming—an achiever who diligently supports numerous charitable organizations without seeking public acclaim. In contrast to the perceived self-focus of Meghan, Sophie’s approach is characterized by a steadfast commitment to service, akin to that of Princess Anne, focusing on substantive contributions rather than personal recognition.

Despite their differences in temperament and approach, Sophie’s role within the royal family has been marked by respect and trust, particularly from King Charles, who values her reliability and dedication. Reports suggest that Sophie was once considered by the late Queen as a potential mentor for Meghan upon her entry into the royal family, although Meghan ultimately chose to rely on her husband, Prince Harry, for support.

Sophie, formerly known as the Countess of Wessex, saw her status within the royal household change significantly when her husband, Prince Edward, was bestowed the title of Duke of Edinburgh. This elevation in rank reflects not only her personal standing but also a shift in protocol within the family dynamic, particularly in relation to her interactions with other members.

A close friend of the couple noted Sophie’s relief at no longer needing to defer to someone who has distanced themselves from royal duties and publicly criticized the institution that she continues to diligently support. Married to Prince Edward since 1999, Sophie has played a pivotal role in the family’s public engagements and charitable endeavors, alongside raising their two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn.

As the monarchy navigates ongoing transitions and challenges, Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, stands as a testament to dedication, resilience, and steadfast service within the firm. Her journey from a supportive confidant of the late Queen to a respected figure in her own right underscores her enduring commitment to the royal family and its enduring legacy.

In an interview with Insider in October, Brooklyn insisted he is not fazed by the criticism as  he knows himself he is ‘working his bum off’ and ‘cooking makes him happy’.
