Janet Street-Porter and Coleen Nolan discussed their sex lives on Tuesday’s Loose Women as they spoke frankly about their relationships post-divorce

Loose Women panelists Janet Street-Porter and Coleen Nolan opened up on their sex lives on Tuesday as they discussed their experiences of embarking on relationships after divorce.

The admissions came about as the panel discussed Rupert Murdoch, 92, announcing his engagement to Ann Lesley as he plans to marry a fifth time after divorcing Jerry Hall six months ago.

Janet said: “There’s an interesting side to Rupert Murdoch that not many people are aware of which is he doesn’t really believe in sex outside marriage…unlike me.

“So I think one of the reasons he’s got married all these times is because he’s what is called now a serial monogamist.”

“He moves from one [wife] to another and the wives seemed to be doing okay out of it, they’re not going around badmouthing him,” Janet continued. “His religion, and his new bride is also a christian, has got a lot to do with it.”

Coleen, who has been divorced twice after calling time on her marriage to Shane Richie in 1999 and Ray Fensome in 2018, pointed out that as a christian she would have thought the media tycoon would have tried to avoid divorce.

Janet hit back and said: “You’re a catholic and you’ve been divorced,” with Coleen replying: “Yes but I believe in sex before marriage.”

Host Ruth Langsford asked Coleen is she would ever consider marrying again if she fell in love.

The Loose Women panelist and singer told her co-stars that as much as she loved being married she wouldn’t be able to face the possibility of another divorce.

“I couldn’t do it again,” she quipped as she revealed she went into both her marriages believing neither of them would come to an end.

I’m open to meeting someone, maybe even live with someone but I don’t want to get married,” she concluded.

However, Coleen went on to joke that she “looks up wedding dresses” and may end up like Charles Dickens’ character Miss Havisham in Great Expectations by wearing a wedding gown despite having no plans to tie the knot.

The group – made up of Judi, Kaye Adams, Jane Moore and Nadia Sawalha – were discussing the topics of the day, when the swear word slipped out of Judi’s mouth. There was a moment where she carried on speaking before Kaye stepped in.

Kaye paused for a moment, with both of them looking at each other before they both went to apologise as Judi had said “c**p”.

“Oops am I not meant to say that?” she said, before stepping in to apologise, as Kaye also apologised on behalf of the show.

Judi is a regular panellist on Loose Women, usually making viewers laugh with her jokes and real life stories. She also appeared on a recent series of Strictly Come Dancing, but her journey on there was thrown into chaos when she tested positive for Covid.

Speaking about how she was forced to miss a week of Strictly after contracting Covid, she said in 2021: “I couldn’t believe it. But I was not letting this thing, which has changed our lives so much, stop me going back. And while I got voted off, I did get back. Strictly is one of the hardest things physically I’ve ever done. I do miss it for the weight loss!

“Oh yes Graziano and I see each other, all the time. We’re having lunch next week. And I’m on the invite list for the wedding! I’ve been doing dance and aerobics at home. It’s the best exercise for me because I enjoy it.”

Judi has also heaped praise on her Loose Women colleagues and said she felt “honoured” to work with them.

“I’m honoured to be surrounded by such intelligent, passionate, caring, motivating and talented women on a daily basis, both at work and at home,” she penned in a column for OK!, “Let’s all continue to support one another’s victories and build each other up.”

She added: “Some of my fellow Loose Women panellists and I have teamed up for the show’s annual Body Stories campaign, which is aimed at showing body diversity is beautiful. I believe everyone should be proud of the unique bodies they’ve been given, no matter their shape or size. I’m a huge advocate for self-love, so anything I can do to help others feel special in their own skin, I will.”

The Loose Women panel paid an emotional tribute to their co-star as they confirmed his departure after 15 years.

Kaye Adams, Judi Love, Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore paused the end of the ITV show today to thank their colleague, and the show’s deputy editor, Tom for his work as they paid tribute to their friend.

Tom has worked on various shows at ITV for the last 14 years and been at Loose Women for well over half of that, as Kaye said she felt “a little bit sad” as she led tributes to their “wonderful” friend as he prepares to start a new life Down Under.

Speaking on the ITV show, she said: “Listen that’s it from us for today. I hope you’ve had fun with us today, but it’s a little bit sad for us as our dear friend and deputy editor of the show Tom is going off to a wonderful new life Down Under. We’re hoping he’s going to be a boomerang and come back to us, we will miss him so so much. He is a wonderful colleague and an even more wonderful friend.”

Nadia then went on to say: “We will really miss him and we’ll miss Mr and Mrs Sage too,” before Jane added: “He’s been in this building for 15 years and it’s going to be weird without him, but Tom we love you.”

Kaye joked they had tried to get Tom to come on the show, but he refused.

“We did try and get him to sit in the audience, but he wasn’t going to do it, but don’t worry Tom, we’re going to be with you in a few moments. Pop the champagne,” she added as the show ended and the adverts began to roll.

It comes only a month after the show bid farewell to Donna May Clitheroe, who was departing the programme after two decades working on the programme as the lead beauty and make-up artist for the ladies.

Speaking at the end of the show, Kaye said: “Before we go, we have to say after 20 years, this is the last day of our dear friend Donna May. The heart of our make up room. She’s sat there with Ruth, I don’t think Ruth’s going to let her go.”

Donna then revealed she would be making the leap to work on her business full time, as Ruth told her: “Look at those four gorgeous women there, you do that,” as Kaye told her: “You are and will continue to be a wonderful friend to us all.”

Befor her exit, Donna worked as Head of Makeup for ITV’S Loose Women and Lorraine and said she had been at ITV for 21 years and was in the studio for three to four days a week, using her commuting time to work on her own business.

On Tuesday, the soccer star, 48, shared a carousel of photos of himself enjoying New Year’s Eve with his family as they welcomed 2024.

“Here’s to another year & as The Boss would always say ‘On to the next’ 2024 here we go ❤️,” David wrote in his Instagram caption in a nod to his former Manchester United soccer manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

David’s carousel comes after he referenced his wife’s “working-class roots” comment in his Netflix documentary while sharing a snap with his wife and parents-in-law at the exclusive Ritz Hotel in London.

“Just a nice casual New Year’s Eve lunch at The Ritz ❤️ @victoriabeckham,” David wrote in his caption on Sunday as he sat at a table with Victoria and her parents Anthony and Jackie Adams. “Very working class 😂 My mother & father in law left in there Roll’s 🤎.”

In a now-viral clip from Netflix’s four-part documentary Beckham, which was released on Oct. 4, David playfully interrupted the Spice Girls alum during a sit-down discussion for the doc.

Victoria had said that she and David came from families that were “very working class,” leading to her husband popping his head into the room to say, “Be honest.”

“I am being honest,” Victoria replied.

“OK, in the ’80s, my dad had a Rolls Royce,” Victoria admitted after going back and forth.

On Wednesday, the former professional soccer player, 48, took to his Instagram Story to share some cute clips of himself playing with the family’s fluffy cockapoo, Simba.

David whistled to the dog in one clip, as the pooch lay by his head and snuggled up to him. “Simba,” the star captioned the post with three orange hearts and a laughing face emoji.

“Simba? What is it?” David then said while trying to get the pup’s attention in the first video.

“All we do in lockdown is high five and eat #figLovesHighFives,” David wrote in the caption at the time.

As well as dog appreciation posts, David and Victoria also regularly share romantic snaps on social media. It’s been nearly 25 years since the couple tied the knot, and they’re still smitten with one another.

On Valentine’s Day, David posted a pic of the pair sharing a kiss by the sea at sunset and wrote, “Happy Valentines to an amazing wife, mummy & best friend. I love you.”

David Beckham has nothing but love for his “brother,” Marc Anthony.

The athlete, 48, celebrated Anthony’s 55th birthday on Saturday by sharing two sweet posts on his Instagram Story.

“Once a brother always a brother 🤍,” Beckham wrote alongside a black and white photo of himself and Anthony. “Happy Birthday man, Love Ya.”

In another image celebrating his longtime friend, Beckham and Anthony smiled as they posed with glasses of red wine in front of a fireplace decorated with stockings during the holidays.

Earlier this month, Beckham surprised the Latin pop singer as he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“So proud of my brother another incredible achievement and so well deserved,” Beckham wrote in a post on Instagram. “Honoured to be there for you 🩷 Love you man @marcanthony ⭐️.”

In July, Anthony welcomed a baby with wife Nadia Ferreira, and Beckham was one of the first people to meet the newborn.

The fashion designer, 50, teased her husband David, 49, of filtering a new photo he posted of the pair on vacation in France, on Tuesday, July 23 — a filter that made her hair look ginger instead of her signature brunette color.

“We have eaten in many beautiful places but WOW Domaine De Peretti Della Rocca 🍷 @victoriabeckham ❤️,” David wrote in the caption.

In the romantic snap, Victoria and David embraced while looking up and smiling at the camera. They sat at a dining table perched in the middle of a crop field in the sunset.

Coming on the heels of the Beckham documentary’s chart-topping debut on Netflix as well as the release of David’s new namesake collection of fragrances, the former Spice Girl, 49, and soccer icon, 48, hit the town for a New York City dinner date. And the duo’s chic going-out looks didn’t miss.

Stevens recently opened up to PEOPLE about what it was like working with the renowned soccer superstar and businessman. “He wasn’t what I expected at all. He was so open. He’s like, ‘I’m ready. I want to tell my story before someone else does,’ ” he shared. “And then I started doing research and I was like, ‘Jesus, this guy’s life is nuts. Nuts.’ I had no idea.”
