Denise Welch announces break from Loose Women as she makes drastic lifestyle changes

Denise Welsh has revealed she will be taking a break from ITV’s Loose Women and she announced she’ll be heading on a trip away

Denise Welch will be missing from Loose Women over the coming weeks as the ITV panellist has confirmed a break from the discussion show.

On Monday, she announced a temporary absence from the panel and a break from social media.

The news comes after her son and The 1975 frontman Matty Healy’s romance to Taylor Swift reportedly heats up.

Sharing a video on Instagram, she said: “Well… on today, on my 65th birthday, I want to say thank you in advance for all the lovely messages and comments that I’ve received.

“I’m going off on a little adventure for a couple of weeks so I’m going to be off here and off my phone.

“I don’t quite know how I’m going to cope, but I’m going to give it a try, so don’t think I have disappeared. It’s just a temporary little holiday and I’ll be back soon.”

Denise’s birthday, May 22, is also the anniversary of her mother Annie’s death.

In the video, she continued: “For those missing their mums, I’m thinking of you. It’s a full circle.

“She brought me into the world on the 22nd of May and she left the world holding mine and my sister’s hand on the 22nd of May, so it’s a celebration of life as well.”

She later added in her caption: ‘Thank you and au revoir for a couple of weeks!!!”

Twitter)Denise first joined Loose Women as a panellist in 2005 before leaving in 2013 and subsequently returning in 2018.

It’s understood she will be going away with her husband, and PR manager, Lincoln Townley, who she has been married to since 2013.

Denise’s announcement comes after it was reported her son Matty may be set to help his new rumoured girlfriend Taylor write music for her new album.

An insider said: “Things are moving fast between Matty and Taylor. They’re totally head over heels for each other. It’s been decided that he will help her pen songs for her next album and he might even provide some vocals if it works for the tracks.”

“Matty has been inspired after attending several shows on her US tour, but they won’t have a lot of time to work together this summer as The 1975 also have their own shows,” an insider told The Sun.

Matty has been spotted in the audience of several of Taylor’s concerts in America after rumours circulated the pair were together romantically earlier this month.

SUSS£X£S ON FIRE! Susanna Reid Drops Shocking Bomb Revealing Meg’s Secrets On Good Morning Britain

British monarchy. The broadcast cut to commercial, leaving viewers in stunned silence, grappling with the explosive revelations they had just witnessed.

As the show resumed, Reed’s demeanor softened slightly, but the intensity in her eyes remained. “We have invited several guests today to discuss the ramifications of this revelation,” she announced, turning to the panel of experts and commentators who had been assembled. Among them were royal biographers, legal analysts, and public relations specialists, all prepared to weigh in on the scandal.

The first to speak was renowned royal biographer, Dr. Evelyn Harcourt. “This is unprecedented,” she began, her tone measured but firm. “The monarchy has weathered many storms, but the implications of this revelation are profound. Trust, once broken, is incredibly difficult to rebuild, especially in the public eye.”

Next, legal analyst Jonathan Chambers addressed the potential legal ramifications. “If these allegations are true, there could be serious legal consequences for both Meghan and the individuals involved in the cover-up. It’s not just a matter of public opinion—there are laws that may have been broken.”

Public relations specialist, Fiona Mitchell, then offered her perspective. “Damage control is going to be incredibly challenging. Meghan’s team will need to act swiftly and strategically to manage this crisis. Transparency and honesty will be crucial in attempting to salvage her reputation.”

As the discussion progressed, it became clear that this was more than just a royal scandal—it was a moment that could redefine public perception of the monarchy and its members. The stakes were higher than ever, and the world was watching with bated breath.

Meanwhile, social media was ablaze with reactions. Hashtags related to the scandal trended worldwide, with opinions sharply divided. Some expressed outrage and disappointment, while others called for empathy and understanding, emphasizing the need to hear Meghan’s side of the story.

In the days that followed, the controversy only intensified. Statements from Buckingham Palace, public appearances by other members of the royal family, and further investigative reports added layers of complexity to an already convoluted situation.

For Meghan, the path forward was fraught with challenges. Rebuilding trust and credibility would require not only addressing the immediate scandal but also demonstrating a commitment to the values she had long championed. Whether she could weather this storm remained to be seen, but one thing was certain—the revelations of that July morning had forever changed the landscape of the British royal family.

Linda said: “I said in the meeting [with producers before Loose Women]I want them to put a pillow over my face and they said you can’t say that on TV.

“That’s what I feel like. That’s my biggest fear – dementia.

But Birds of a Feather star, Linda, 65, said she won’t get tested for the early signs of dementia.

The mum of three, from Islington, North London, added: “I would rather not know if I had it.

“I start worrying if I’m putting strange things in the fridge.

“My mum would still be shopping for a big family and I’d go ‘Mum there’s only you and Johnny now, you don’t need to do all this shopping.’

“Then she would forget she’d cooked a chicken and she’d be making lamb chops so I’d be like ‘there’s chicken in the oven’.”

Despite her request to her kids, she wouldn’t consider using an end-of-life clinic such as Dignitas in Switzerland. She said: “I told my kids, put me in a home.

“You hear of horror stories of people in old people’s homes so its always best to make sure your relatives are OK.”

A matter close to Linda’s heart is the use of medical cannabis, and her desire to reduce the stigma surrounding it.

She first came along the subject in ITV show Gone to Pot, in which she travelled to the US with stars including EastEnders actor Pam St Clement to investigate legal cannabis.

Since then, she has teamed up with Releaf, a cannabis e-clinic, which promotes its benefits.

She said: “When I was younger, I remember having a puff of a joint.

    “Recreationally, I don’t enjoy it – but medicinally, I think it’s amazing.

“I haven’t taken it since I was in America.

“It did help with the jet lag and arthritis.

“Pam St Clements has hip problems and it definitely helps her too.”

She added: “What they are selling on street corners is not what they are making in the labs

“If someone tells me that someone in their family isn’t well, I tell them they should get some medicinal cannabis.

“I think after Gone to Pot went on television, everyone in the country changed their mind about cannabis.”

Ruth Langsford accused of snubbing ‘nemesis’ Holly Willoughby in live This Morning link

Ruth Langsford spoke to Holly Willoughby and Josie Gibson on This Morning today as she announced the Loose Women line-up in a noticeably awkward exchange

Ruth Langsford has been accused of snubbing Holly Willoughby during a live link on This Morning today.

The Loose Women presenter’s husband Eamonn Holmes, 63, has made his feelings about Holly and Phillip Schofield crystal clear – but Ruth is yet to comment.

However, her demeanour with the Wylde Moon guru didn’t go unnoticed by fans today when she spoke to Holly 42, and Josie Gibson, 38, about what was on the show.

During the link, Ruth joked she and Josie were both wearing green – even though Holly was wearing the colour too.

Complimenting the Bristolian on her outfit, she said: “We’ve got the green memo today Josie. You look great!”

Body language expert Judi James picked up on the ‘snub’, telling us: “The signs of tension had barely eased today but, as Holly sat primly, her hands touching and static on the table in front, Ruth brought Coleen into frame to allow her to have some relaxing banter in her own studio.

“When Ruth said ‘Hi Holly Hi Josie’ and their fixed smiles looked identical, her eyes flicked from side to side in a micro cut off ritual as though avoiding using eye contact.”

Ruth was accused of ‘gritting her teeth’ yesterday when Holly asked what would be on Loose Women after she’d earlier asked This Morning viewers if they were ok in a post-Schofe statement.

The mum-of-three, who was sitting next to Josie and US Adam Lambert, smiled brightly as she said: “Let’s find out what Loose Women are talking about today. Hi there, Ruth!”

Ruth, ever the professional, replied: “Yeah, we love Adam Lambert, too!”, before blowing him kisses.

Many viewers found the whole thing ‘toe-curling’ as they took to social media to share their thoughts on the moment, with one saying: “Ruth looks Incredibly uncomfortable.”

“Wow Holly having to crossover to Ruth on #loosewomen, considering how Ruth’s husband has been sniping about Holly, that must of been awkward,” added another.

While someone else shared: “Feel for Ruth! this is so wrong!”

Ruth’s husband Eamonn, who used to present This Morning, gave a no holds barred interview on GB News about Holly, Phil and This Morning.

Among the bombshell claims, he said the culture was toxic on the show, that people must have known about Phil’s affair with the young runner and that Holly was faking her friendship with co-host Alison Hammond.

The Mirror has contacted reps for Holly, Phil and Alison.

  • Meghan Markle’s Deceptive Game: Unveiling the Truth Behind Her Identity

Meghan Markle’s Deceptive Game: Unveiling the Truth Behind Her Identity

Meghan Markle’s Deceptive Game: Unveiling the Truth Behind Her Identity

Meghan Markle, known for her advocacy for mixed-race women, has recently faced a bombshell revelation about her past.

The Suits star turned Duchess of Sussex had been portraying herself as a champion for biracial individuals, embracing both her ethnic backgrounds.

However, a surprising disclosure by Aaron Korsh, the creator of Suits, sheds light on a different side of Meghan’s narrative.

Before her royal journey with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle predominantly identified as Caucasian throughout her acting career.

Despite her mixed heritage, she conveniently omitted her black roots, presenting herself solely as white on official documents and resumes.

It was only when the opportunity to join the British royal family arose that Meghan embraced her biracial identity, strategically leveraging it for personal branding and activism.

The revelation exposes Meghan’s strategic maneuvering, switching her racial identity for professional gain and later capitalizing on it for public image enhancement.

The stark contrast between her public persona as a biracial advocate and her prior actions of concealing her black heritage raises questions about her authenticity and motives.

The narrative of overcoming racial challenges now appears tainted by a history of selective identity presentation and opportunism.

Meghan’s credibility takes another hit as past instances of duplicity come to light.

From her alleged lack of knowledge about the royal family before marriage to exploiting her estranged family members for publicity during the infamous Oprah interview, a pattern of deception emerges.

The carefully crafted facade of a socially conscious biracial icon begins to crumble, revealing a calculated and self-serving approach to personal branding.

The recent expose challenges the perception of Meghan Markle as a genuine voice for marginalized communities.

Her actions, marked by inconsistency and exploitation, paint a picture of a relentless opportunist driven by personal gain.

The disconnect between her proclaimed values and actual conduct underscores a narrative of manipulation and insincerity, casting doubt on her authenticity as a public figure.

As the truth about Meghan’s past unfolds, it prompts reflection on the authenticity of her public persona.

The narrative of empowerment and diversity she promotes appears overshadowed by a history of deception and self-interest.

The exposure of her identity manipulation calls into question the integrity of her advocacy efforts and raises concerns about the sincerity of her motives.

In light of these revelations, it becomes imperative for followers and observers to reevaluate their perception of Meghan Markle.

The contrast between her public image and behind-the-scenes actions highlights a troubling pattern of exploitation and deceit.

The call to hold her accountable for her actions resonates as a reminder of the importance of authenticity and integrity in public figures.

The unraveling of Meghan Markle’s carefully constructed identity serves as a cautionary tale about the complexities of personal branding and authenticity.

The dichotomy between her public persona and private conduct underscores the challenges of navigating fame and social responsibility.

As the truth about her past comes to light, it invites a critical examination of celebrity culture and the narratives constructed within it.

In conclusion, Meghan Markle’s journey from Hollywood to royalty is marred by revelations of deception and opportunism.

The exposure of her selective identity portrayal raises significant questions about her integrity and authenticity.

As the public grapples with the implications of this disclosure, it underscores the importance of transparency and accountability in shaping public personas.

Stay tuned for more updates on the evolving narrative surrounding Meghan Markle and the world of royalty.

Carol McGiffin says ITV with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby is ‘cut-throat’

Carol McGiffin has opened up about her time working at ITV after she suddenly quit Loose Women

Carol McGiffin has said ITV with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby is “cutthroat”.

The TV star has opened up about her experience working for the TV company after suddenly leaving daytime show Loose Women earlier this year.

Not holding back, the 63-year-old described working at ITV as “cutthroat, competitive and ruthless” as she revealed the “dysfunctional” set up behind the scenes.

It comes after Carol slammed Phillip Schofield, saying he was “fake” after his relationship with a younger colleague at This Morning came to light.

Phillip, 61, stepped down from ITV last month after admitting to having an affair with a younger male colleague at ITV.

Speaking in her column for Best magazine, Carol said: “They go on about the ‘ ITV Daytime Family’ being cosy best mates, all caring and kind, but in my opinion it’s about as dysfunctional as they come.

Carol McGiffin has spoken about Phil and Holly
“It’s cutthroat, competitive and ruthless, and can be quite unpleasant, and as soon as your face doesn’t fit anymore, or you disagree with their narrative, you’re out the door.”

Carol previously talked about Phil and Holly when she was interviewed by GB News host Dan Wootton.

When asked if they were nice to her while she was on This Morning, Carol said: “Phillip was there but he wasn’t very nice, to be honest.

“He treated me as though it’s like ‘oh another Loose Woman with another book’ and I kind of get that but it was just like he was so not interested that it was a struggle.

“I was giggling and laughing actually because I couldn’t believe he was being so bloody rude.”

She went on to explain that while that was her only negative experience with Phillip, she’d heard stories about Phillip being “unpleasant to a lot of people.”

Phillip stepped down from all of his commitments at ITV when the controversial situation arose.

Since then he has released statements and done interviews where he apologised to those who have been affected by the situation.

Holly mentioned in a statement that she had asked Phil about the relationship rumours when they arose but he denied them.

She has since presented This Morning alongside Josie Gibson.

Victoria, 47, was full of smiles as she sat alongside her mum Jackie.

She looked glam in a black tuxedo jacket alongside her lookalike mum who showed off her timeless beauty in her stylish royal blue jacket.

They were joined by her dad Anthony, who looked dapper in a chequered grey suit.

He had a laugh with his son-in-law David as they raised a glass together.

The former football legend and fashion designer were joined by their brood on their night out.

Footballer Romeo, 19, beamed as he towered over his grandma for a photo.

His budding singer little brother Cruz, 17, threw his arm around his grandmother too for a snap.

Their eldest son Brooklyn was not seen in the shots.

Just last week David and Victoria shared some new family photos to mark Brooklyn’s 23rd birthday.

Victoria treated fans to a stunning throwback snap where she cradled a baby Brooklyn in her arms as they relaxed on a beach.

The former Spice Girl looked chic with her hair styled in her trademark black crop as she glammed up in a black bikini and fed her son a banana from her fruit bowl.

She gushed about Brooklyn in the post saying: “23 years ago today my life changed forever, I felt a love impossible to explain.

“Brooklyn, you have no idea how much we all love you. Happy Birthday to the sweetest, kindest soul.”

Last summer, Golden Balls, 46, sported a similarly eye-catching look and his look-a-like son is pulling it off just as well.

He was seen wearing a black Puma jumper and standing in the kitchen of his family home as he scooped Harper, ten, up in a hug.

The schoolgirl, wrapped up in a pretty cream and green-print fleece, looked chuffed to be spending quality time with her big brother.

Fans were quick to comment on the image, with one hailing the duo: “Sibling goals.”

Another wrote: “This is SO CUTE! 💗” as a third posted: “Great moment 😍😍.”

One then surmised: “Beautiful family ❤️”
David and Victoria have three sons — Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 16 — and a daughter — Harper, 10.

    BECK’S SUCCESS

It was recently revealed how Romeo leads the pack when it comes to the Beckham offspring after he landed a £1.2million contract to become the new face of Puma.

Insiders said the big-money deal with the sportswear giant was the first in a line of lucrative collaborations being lined up for him in the next few years.

“This is just the first of big commercial deals off the pitch for Romeo in his new career as a pro footballer,” an insider told The Sun.

“Designer brand Yves Saint Laurent have shown a real interest in Romeo after he worked with them in the summer and it’s likely they’ll try and snare him for another campaign.

“The future is very bright for Romeo and it won’t be long until he’s banking another million.”

Romeo, second eldest son of ex-Man United and England superstar David, 46, and Victoria, 47, splits his time between the US where he plays football and UK where the family is based.

Romeo signed for Fort Lauderdale CF in September and has played for the club on a number of occasions.

He made his name in the fashion industry and in 2011 he was named Britain’s 26th best dressed man — aged just eight.

Two years later, he signed his first big deal with Burberry and went on to star in a number of the British brand’s campaigns.

He has also modelled for Canada Goose clothing and in January was the cover model of L’Uomo Vogue for the first time.

His brother, Brooklyn, 22, also lives in the States with his fiancée, model Nicola Peltz, and earlier this month launched an online cooking show.

An avid photographer who has shot major fashion campaigns with the likes of Burberry, Brooklyn has made most of his money from modelling.

He has been a brand ambassador for major companies such as, Huawei and is thought to be worth about £7.5million.

The youngest siblings Cruz, 16, and Harper are still in school.

But Cruz might be following in his mum’s footsteps to launch a music career after showing his amazing singing skills and even released a 2016 Christmas single.

Harper is also on her way to becoming just like her all-singing, all-dancing mum.

But it’s the heads of the famous family who are the wealthiest.

Mother of four Victoria, 47, first started building her fortune as Posh Spice when the Spice Girls burst on to the scene in 1994.

The girl power group were one of the most successful pop acts of the 1990s and sold over 55 million records worldwide.

While Victoria is a valuable commodity jointly with her husband in “Brand Beckham”, she is an astute businesswoman, and her net worth in her own right has soared to an estimated £325million.

David’s worth skyrocketed this year after the former England captain signed a deal worth £15million a year over the next decade to become the country’s ambassador.

Combined with other lucrative sponsorship deals, it brings David’s worth to about £330million.

Retired footballer David captioned the upload: “🐶🐶🐶 special moments ❤️.”

In the snap David and his pooches are looking out over a lake and, with his head turned to the left, he gave fans a peek at the inking on the side of his head.

Becks first showed off the tattoo in 2018, which is a model of the solar system and usually covered up by his hair.

No stranger to the tattooist’s chair, it’s thought David has between 60 and 80 inkings on his body.

Below the solar system on the left side of his neck he has two tributes to his 10-year-old daughter: “Harper” and “pretty lady”.

Just above these are a rose and the words “I love you”, with a flock of birds flying towards his ear.

On the right side of his neck, in the same positions as his tattoos for Harper, David has “Brooklyn” and his eldest son’s nickname, “Buster”.

He has the names of his other sons – Romeo and Cruz – on his back, separated by a guardian angel.

Also included in his extensive collection are two full sleeves and large inkings on his chest.

On his hand he has wife Victoria’s name next to a hummingbird and the words “dream big be unrealistic”, as well as “99” in reference to the year he and Posh tied the knot.

Victoria recently delighted fans when she marked Red Nose Day by sharing a throwback clip of her and David’s interview with Ali G which took place 21 years ago.

Officers have been trawling through CCTV from nearby houses after the raider allegedly stole thousands of pounds worth of designer and electric goods.

Building work is currently underway at the house next door to the Beckhams’, with scaffolding just feet away from their own windows.

A source told The Sun: “The scaffolding extends very near to the Beckham’s upstairs bedrooms. It would have been easy for a criminal to climb up and decide to break the glass.”

Workmen at the house next door, which is currently empty, confirmed to The Sun that CCTV had been handed to the cops.

The burglary at the Beckham family’s London mansion was discovered by shocked son Cruz, 17, when he returned with pals after a night out.

He spotted a spare bedroom had been ransacked while his parents were in the house, with glass from the broken window lying on the floor.

Cruz then alerted dad David who rang 999 while they searched the £40million home. Victoria is thought to have remained with daughter Harper, ten.

By then it is believed that the intruder had fled the property.

The family are said to have been “shaken up” by the “invasion” of their home in Holland Park, West London.

David, Victoria and their two younger children spend most of their time at the seven-bedroom West London house, which the couple bought for £31million in 2013.

The celebrity family are currently preparing for eldest son Brooklyn’s wedding to billionaire’s daughter Nicola Peltz on April 9 in the US.

One neighbouring property that was also broken into was empty. Another in the street was targeted too, but the burglar was unable to get in.

No arrests have been made and the Metropolitan Police confirmed investigations are still underway.

A Met spokesman said: “Police were called at 00.37 hours on Tuesday, March 1 to reports of a burglary at a residential address in the W11 area of Kensington.

“The burglary is believed to have taken place between 20.30 and 23.30 on Monday, February 28.

“A number of items were reported stolen. No arrests have been made. Inquiries continue.”

The Met said of the neighbouring crimes: “Inquiries are ongoing. Police believe entry was forced to a neighbouring property, and an attempt made to access another.”
