Larry Lamb reveals harsh reason he lied about Gavin and Stacey reunion rumours

Actor Larry Lamb has revealed why he lied to fans about the future of Gavin and Stacey as he shared details of the highly anticipated Christmas special

Gavin and Stacey star Larry Lamb has revealed what it was like when he was asked to reprise his role for another Christmas special.

The actor, who plays Essex-born Mick Shipman on the hit series, appeared on Loose Women on Thursday where he confessed why he lied about not knowing another episode is on the way. Gavin and Stacey creators James Corden and Ruth Jones finally confirmed the rumours were true earlier this month. They shared a snap holding up a script for a new Christmas special. James said: “Some news… It’s official!!! We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey. See you on Christmas Day, BBC One. Love Ruth and James.” Before the announcement, many of the show’s stars shut down any speculation of a new episode, including Larry.

He appeared on Loose Women a matter of days before the announcement with his on-screen daughter-in-law Joanna Page – who plays Stacey Shipman. Joanna asked him: “Do you ever think there’ll be any more Gavin and Stacey?” Larry insisted: “Definitely not. Right now, I’d say not. But I’m not very good at gambling…”

Yet Larry returned to the ITV show today where host Kaye Adams declared: “Liar, liar, pants on fire. You were here in April.” Larry revealed why he lied on the show as he admitted: “I know but my career is dicey enough, I have got enough on the line there. You say one word about this, you won’t be in any Christmas special. That would be that.”

Kaye asked: “Was it really that tight?” Larry shared: “The trouble is things get out and there [are] spoilers everywhere. I can just imagine what it is going to be like when we start doing that script and we get together and we read it. They take it back and I bet they dole it out scene by scene. Because one person goes and puts the wrong bit out online and 27 million people all miss out on the party.”

Gloria asked what his reaction was like when he finally got a call about doing the reunion, Larry revealed he was stood at a train station with his friend. He shared: “All of the sudden the phone rang and it has got ‘Ruthie’ on it. I thought, ‘Ruthie, what is she calling for?’ It was so out of context. I said ‘hello’, and she asked ‘are you on your own?’, so I lied. She just told me, ‘are you going to be free this time heading into the end of the year?’

“I said ‘why?’ and she just said ‘we are going to get a green light on a new deal. I said ‘another grand finale?’ and she said ‘yeah another grand finale’. I bet you it has got another cliffhanger at the end of that as well.” Actress Alison Steadman, who plays Larry’s on-screen wife, also kept hush on the news as she told The Mirror: “If we did another series or episode, I would absolutely love it.

“But at the moment, as far as I know, it’s not going to happen. None of us have been sent scripts, none of us, so until there’s something definite and it’s announced, then I’m not going to go along with anything, it might not happen. It’s all up in the air.”

  • Prince William SIGNS And BANS Harry From Ever Attending His Coronation As Future King

Prince William SIGNS And BANS Harry From Ever Attending His Coronation As Future King

Prince William SIGNS And BANS Harry From Ever Attending His Coronation As Future King

As Prince Harry approaches his 40th birthday this July, much speculation surrounds his fractured relationship with his older brother Prince William. While time may help heal old wounds, it seems William is not yet ready to extend an olive branch to Harry when it comes to one of the most important events in his life – his coronation as King of England.

According to sources close to William, the future monarch has no desire for Harry to be present at his coronation, whenever that monumental occasion may be. A confidante of the two brothers told The Sunday Times that there is still deep resentment lingers due to Harry and Meghan’s sudden departure from royal duties and relocation to California in 2020.

Since moving to America, Harry and Meghan have made several public attacks against the royal family. Harry’s forthcoming memoir, set for release later this year, is also said to contain more bombshell revelations. These actions have only served to further damage Harry’s relationship with his brother and other senior royals like Prince Charles.

While Harry and Meghan did reach out to William, Kate, and Charles after the King’s cancer diagnosis last fall, the gestures were apparently not reciprocated. It seems William is still not ready or willing to forgive his younger brother for the accusations leveled at the institution of the monarchy and Harry’s own family members like Kate. In his recently published memoir, Harry alluded to tensions with his sister-in-law in the early days of her and William’s courtship.

According to advisers, William’s focus in 2023 will be on supporting his father in the early years of his reign as King, as well as prioritizing his wife Kate and their three young children – 8-year-old Prince George, 7-year-old Princess Charlotte, and 4-year-old Prince Louis. Understandably, mending fences with his estranged brother may not be high on William’s list of priorities at the moment.

Friends have revealed the future king hopes his coronation, whenever it comes to pass, has its own distinct atmosphere and identity separate from past royal crowning ceremonies. Some have theorized this could mean Harry’s deliberate absence from proceedings.

While the coronation may be years away yet, the frosty state of relations between the brothers suggests Harry faces an uphill battle to regain William’s trust and secure an invitation. Despite sharing a life of privilege and purpose as senior royals for decades, the bond between the siblings now appears irrevocably broken.

The Sunday Times source spoke of the “heartbreaking truth” regarding Harry and William’s complete communication breakdown since Megxit. Numerous media reports in the past two years have described fierce arguments and disagreements taking place behind palace walls following Harry’s bombshell announcement.

Even a one-time adviser to both princes acknowledged the difficult road ahead, noting William’s “gaze remains fixated on the past.” Simply put, the prince is seemingly unable to move forward without resentment over his brother’s exit from the family firm and serial public criticisms.

As Harry hits the milestone 40th birthday, it may be time for deep introspection on his part. If there is any hope of reconciliation with William down the line, accepting past mistakes and looking to rebuild trust slowly through discreet private talks may be needed. But for the ever-dutiful William, the well-being of his father, wife, and children will understandably remain the priority for now.

Only time will tell if the brothers can resolve issues amicably. But barring significant rapprochement efforts on Harry’s end, an invite to his brother’s crowning ceremony seems highly unlikely at this point. William’s coronation looks poised to be a solemn affair to commemorate his ascension, without the added family drama of a still-estranged sibling in attendance. For the sake of their relationship and family’s future, here’s hoping more conciliatory steps can be taken soon between the once close brothers to patch up their severely frayed bond.

Loose Women descends into chaos as two panellists swear live on air

Loose Women descended into chaos as both Janet Street-Porter and Kaye Adams ended up dropping swear words while live on air as their co-stars were left stunned

The Loose Women panel descended into chaos as Janet Street-Porter and Kaye Adams both accidently swore live on air.

The ITV daytime show returned with Kaye as host and Denise Welch, Brenda Edwards and Janet on the panel. They kicked off the programme by talking about modern slang and abbreviations. Kaye reeled off modern terms such as Platty Joobs for the Platinum Jubilee and Gen Elec for the general election.

The four stars were not impressed with the new words as they started to share old slang and terms, which they argued were better and made more sense. However, at the end of the debate Janet cheekily asked: “Can I say t*ts up?” The audience erupted into laughter as a stern Kaye told her: “Janet, the answer to that you asked me a question and no.”

They then cut to an ad break but didn’t apologise for the swear word. As they returned from the break, they discussed Brenda’s fashion choices as she revealed she is a fan of wearing a jumpsuit. She was tasked with wearing a dress as she shared her reasons for why she doesn’t like wearing them.

Yet her panellists didn’t like her reasons for not liking her knees as Kaye urged her to give a dress a go. She got so passionate, she said: “Well, I mean lets see these b****y…” Kaye managed to stop herself at the end of the word as she gasped at what she just said. Brenda quipped: “Everybody is naughty on this panel today, you lot are naughty.”

Denise pointed out: “It’s half term Kaye Adams.” Kaye said: “Can I apologise for the language I am sorry for any offence that has been caused.” Viewers were confused at her apology as some didn’t think it was a swear word. One said: “Why did Kaye apologise for the word b***dy? That’s not a bad word #loosewomen.” Another added: “#loosewomen B****y isn’t really a swear word, for goodness sake.” Someone else commented: “lol Kaye #loosewomen.”

Just last week Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha swore live on air. The hit ITV chat show celebrated the 40th anniversary of Cilla Black’s hit show, Surprise Surprise, by giving the panel their own surprises. Nadia’s surprise was when she spoke about her friendship group before they appeared live in the studio.

Nadia was left in tears over the surprise before dropping a hilarious swear word, where she had to apologise for the blunder. Recalling how they met and their friendship, Nadia then revealed her nickname for one of her friends as she said: “It’s so weird the way you keep calling her Helen because we only call her t**s!” This resulted in loud gasps in the studio as Nadia suddenly realised her error as she covered her mouth in shock while her amused friends added: “You can’t say that, you’re going to be in trouble!” as they all apologised.

Saddened Katie Price reaches out to Ruth Langsford after shock split from Eamonn Holmes

Katie Price has labelled Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes as her “favourite couple ever” as she shared her plans to reach out to the pair following their split

Katie Price has voiced her feelings for Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes in light of their recent separation.

Former glamour model Katie, 46, once branded them the former This Morning presenters as her “favourite couple ever.” Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she went on to explain her intentions of reaching out to both hosts.

“I really want to reach out to Ruth, and Eamonn, but I’m sure they’ve been getting so many messages that mine would be diluted.” Her affection for the pair didn’t end there, as after she revealed her love for both, her sister and co-podcast host Sophie chimed in: “I like them, they’re always so nice to you as well.”

Not holding back, Katie responded: “They are so genuine on and off [camera]. They are so funny off-camera. They’re normal down-to-earth, not up their a***, they’re just really nice genuine people that I would hang out with and have dinner with. They are so nice.”

The comments from Katie came after Eamonn, age 64, made his TV comeback on his GB News show, Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel. An hour into his starting show, he mentioned his marriage break up to viewers: “I’d like to thank people for their support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation. Your support for both of us is very much appreciated.”

While Eamonn has made a comeback to work, Ruth has been noticeably missing from this week’s Loose Women episodes, opting to take a “step back” from the programme. She did, however, post a picture of herself at QVC, where she holds another presenting gig.

The beloved duo gained fame co-hosting ITV’s This Morning, with their romance sparking back in 1997 after being set up by a mutual friend. They exchanged vows in 2010 following a relationship spanning more than a decade detail Ruth once shared on Loose Women in 2016, noting they had been together a “long, long time” before deciding to tie the knot. Throughout their 27 years together, they welcomed their son Jack.

Eamonn is also dad to three grown-up children from his previous marriage. Rumours about their marital status have been swirling for some time, with eagle-eyed fans picking up on their reduced social media presence together.

In a joint statement released on Saturday, they confirmed the end of their marriage, saying: “[They] have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

  • What did David Beckham get back after defying being stoned by fans to marry Victoria?

What did David Beckham get back after defying being stoned by fans to marry Victoria?

Beckham’s departure from Manchester United came as the player’s relationship with Alex Ferguson deteriorated.

Sir Alex revealed in his 2013 autobiography that he felt Beckham’s focus on football was being disrupted by other activities. He also claimed the player believed he was bigger than his manager.

Despite claiming not to hold “any grudge” against Beckham, Ferguson was clear in his assessment of the player:

“David is the only player I have ever managed who chose to be famous, and made it his job to be known off the pitch.”

The legendary Scottish manager added: “When a Manchester United player thinks he is bigger than the manager, he has to go…

David thinks he is bigger than Alex Ferguson. There is no doubt in my mind about that.”

In fact, Beckham later admitted that he could not help himself, admitting that his behaviour contributed to the breakdown of the relationship. “There were decisions I made at the time that were wrong and I can understand why the manager got upset,” he said in a BBC interview in 2017.

After coming through the ‘Fergie’s Fledglings’ era with the Red Devils’ Class of 1992, Beckham became a football icon, with his appeal extending far beyond the game.

The England star married one of the Spice Girls – Victoria, known as ‘Posh Spice’ – and his face became ubiquitous on TV, billboards and magazines, with commercial partners lining up to have him sell their products.

Ferguson, who had guided Beckham from the start, became increasingly frustrated with the direction of the player’s career, which he said had been “swallowed up by the media or advertising agencies”.

The pair began to get on each other’s nerves, with issues ranging from arguments over wearing woolly hats at team dinners (to hide Beckham’s new haircut) to a boot-throwing incident.

How did Alex Ferguson’s Beckham boot-throwing come about?

The infamous boot-throwing incident between David Beckham and Alex Ferguson is perhaps one of the most bizarre episodes that led to Beckham’s decision to leave Manchester United.

Ferguson had publicly suggested that Beckham’s work-rate had dropped during the 2002-03 season and, when he criticised the midfielder’s performance in a 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Arsenal, it led to a bizarre moment.

In a tirade against the team and Beckham in particular, the United manager angrily kicked a boot at the England captain, hitting him on the forehead.

“He was about four metres away from me,” Ferguson recalled in his autobiography. “There was a row of shoes between us on the floor. David was cursing. I went up to him, and as I got closer, I kicked a shoe. It hit him right on the forehead.

“Of course he got up to confront me and the players stopped him. ‘Sit down,’ I said. ‘You’ve let your team down. You can argue as much as you want.’”

Of course, Beckham refused to budge and later appeared with his nose in a simple line, his long hair strategically tied back to ensure a full press conference.

The image of Beckham injured and prominent became a symbol of the deterioration of the relationship that led to his departure from Manchester United.

How much did Man Utd sell David Beckham to Real Madrid for?

Real Madrid paid €35 million to Manchester United for David Beckham. The deal was initially for €20 million plus add-ons.

The midfielder joined Los Blancos on a four-year contract worth around €6 million a year and expressed his happiness at the move.

In a press release, Beckham said: “I knew that I would always regret it in my life if I turned down the opportunity to play for another big club like Real Madrid.”

Interestingly, Beckham later explained that he was aware of Manchester United’s intentions United wanted to sell him to Barcelona against his will and this made him determined to push through with a move to Real Madrid.

CRISIS IN THE ROYAL PALACE: King Charles set to pursue Prince Andrew from the palace and rent out his property for £1 Million if….

King Charles reportedly plans to rent out Prince Andrew’s Royal Lodge for £1 million a year once his brother vacates the property.

The monarch aims to generate commercial revenue from the mansion, located in Windsor Great Park, amid ongoing efforts to relocate the Duke of York.

Prince Andrew has so far refused to move, relying on his “cast-iron lease,” which includes a clause ensuring the £30 million lodge is kept in good repair. Despite being offered alternative residences, Andrew has declined them.

“As far as he [Andrew] is concerned, he isn’t moving,” an insider said.

He can not be any clearer. He’s not going to leave and move into another property, he has a lease, he’s spent millions on doing the place up and doesn’t want to move. Whoever is behind this would have to drag him out and that clearly isn’t going to happen.”

    Expected to persuade Andrew

Sources close to the situation believe King Charles will eventually persuade Andrew to leave.

One potential measure includes cutting off the £4 million annual allowance that Charles currently provides to support his brother.

“It makes sense for Royal Lodge to be handed back to Crown Estates, which can pay for the much-needed repairs and renovations,” a source told The Sun.

It could then be rented to earn money for them, the King’s coffers and the country rather than being a drain on everyone’s resources.”

Samantha contends that Meghan’s statements were made with intent and knowledge, exacerbating the damage done.

Meghan Markle taken to court for £60,000 over defamation claims by sister

Samantha Markle, the half-sister of Meghan Markle, has reignited her legal battle against the Duchess by filing a new lawsuit for £60,000. The 59-year-old, who shares the same father with Meghan, is alleging that her estranged sister has inflicted considerable emotional distress by asserting that she barely knows Samantha.

In court documents obtained by a private news outlet, Samantha accuses Meghan of deliberate malice, asserting that Meghan “knew exactly what she was doing” and how to execute it. Samantha’s legal team claims that Meghan has publicly demeaned her on an international scale, severely impacting her ability to work and live a normal life.

According to Samantha’s lawyers, the public denigration has made everyday activities, such as shopping for groceries, fraught with harassment. The case has escalated following a previous court ruling by Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell in March, which found that Samantha had failed to provide sufficient evidence of defamation at that time.

The recent legal documents also highlight that Meghan’s statements have significantly tarnished Samantha’s personal and professional reputation, subjecting her to “relentless torment online.”

Meghan Markle gushes about her daughter, three, in speech about ‘Afro women and power’ during Colombian tour with Prince Harry, admitting ‘Lilibet has found her voice and we are so proud’

Meghan Markle has gushed about her daughter, three, in a speech about ‘Afro women and power’ talk on the final day of her tour in Colombia with Prince Harry.

She said that Lilibet ‘has found her voice and we are so proud of that’ in the speech the Duchess also used to pay tribute to her mother.

Meghan said: ‘For me I find inspiration in so many of the strong women around me. My mother being one of them. Life is full of surprises and can be quite complex.

‘So much of how I approach things is about less of the fight and how do we wash things over with love and kindness and generosity.

‘You see something wrong and you go and fix it. As women we are multi-taskers and fixers. We all know how much representation matters.’

The Duchess also said that as her mother, she is encouraging Lilibet to not ‘sit in silence’.

‘At three she has found her voice and we are so proud of that, because that is how we create the conditions in which there is a ripple effect of young girls and young women knowing that if someone else is encouraging them to use their voice and be heard, that’s what they are going to do,’ she added.

‘I was 11-years-old, and you may know this story, I had seen a commercial that I felt was sexist, and I wrote a letter, several letters, about it, and the commercial was changed when you’re 11-years-old, and you realise very quickly that your small voice can have a very large impact.

‘I think it creates the framework to feel empowered to use your voice, because you know you’re being listened to.’

The Duchess often uses the childhood story in her speeches and interviews, despite some questions being raised about its validity in recent years.

The account was stripped out of a Vanity Fair cover story in 2017 after ‘fact checkers raised questions about its accuracy,’ a biography said.

The anecdote was cut from the cover story ‘after consulting P&G and advertising historians,’ according to Tom Bower’s book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors.

On lessons in her life, Meghan Markle said: ‘I’d like to start in Spanish because we are in your country, my husband and I, and because I feel the embrace in Colombia. It’s incredible.

‘So thank you, thank you very much, because the culture, the history, everything has been like a dream on this trip.

‘And I’m sorry that my Spanish isn’t perfect, because I learned it in Argentina 20 years ago, but I’m trying [it] here because I can feel this community and this feeling is the best in the world.

‘So thank you very much to the vice president, my friend, thank you very much. Well, now in English.

‘I would say, from my standpoint, that I was very fortunate that from a very young age to feel as though my voice was being heard. And I think that is a luxury that a lot of young girls and women aren’t often afforded.

‘I was 11-years-old, and you may know this story, I had seen a commercial that I felt was sexist, and I wrote a letter, several letters, about it, and the commercial was changed when you’re 11-years-old, and you realise very quickly that your small voice can have a very large impact.

‘I think it creates the framework to feel empowered to use your voice, because you know you’re being listened to. It doesn’t ever feel good to use your voice and no one hears you. That’s not ideal.

‘So for us and the work that we do with our Archewell Foundation, certainly the work that we do as parents, as I do as a mother, is ensuring that young girls feel as though their voices are being heard, and also that young boys are being raised to listen and to hear those young women as well.

‘And the same goes for adult women and men. This isn’t something that can be solely responsible and in the hands of just women.

‘Yes, we work incredibly well together as a team, but as my husband is great testament to, the role of men in this of empowering women, of allowing them to know that their voices are heard, starting at a young age all the way through adulthood, is key.

‘So at the Archewell Foundation, we are very, very dedicated to creating a sense of community, but also one in which women are heard and that their ideas are really felt and implemented in the programming that we do.

‘So we just recently launched a programme called The Parents Network, which is for parents who have lost children or have encountered the worst possible challenges and level of grief as a result of online harms, and allowing those mothers, those parents, to be heard, is very key to the work that we’re doing.

‘We also have something called The Welcome Project where we are working with women, specifically, who have been displaced.

‘And really giving them projects and work that are comparable to the work that I have done in the UK with something called the Hub Community Kitchen which was also women and community hearing each other, supporting each other.

‘You know, you might be cooking together, you might be doing a craft together, but what are you doing at the same time [is that] you’re working on your mental health, you’re working on your emotional healing, you’re working towards supporting each other with micro finance and business building and partnership.

‘So these are all the ways in which I see the spirit of community and of us supporting each other as women play themselves out in so many different facets of our lives.’

After being asked about what inspires her, the Duchess said: ‘For me, I think I find inspiration in so many of the strong women that are around me. My mother being one of them.

‘I think life is full of surprises and can be quite complex. And we (as Meghan turned to the Colombian vice president) have talked about over the past few days you finding your inspiration and this fighting spirit and for me, we talked about the power of words as well.

‘So much of how I approach things is through the lens of [it’s] less about the fight, that’s not interesting to me, and more about how do we show up in this space and wash things over with love and kindness and generosity.

‘And we talked about this the other day and of course that is part of that same spirit that you have in you. That you see something wrong and you go to fix it. Maybe that’s just a very female thing. Whether it’s a fan or something else.

‘That’s what we do. As women we are multi-taskers and we are fixers. And so when I try to look at the conditions in which we’ll make women most comfortable in the space, that’s multifaceted.

‘And that includes finding ways to create political space, where women’s voices can be heard.

‘In business, where women can have a seat at the table and be in positions of leadership, having examples as you do with your vice president.

‘We all know how much representation matters. We all know that if you see someone who looks like you, who talks like you, who comes from a community like yours, that you can believe it’s possible to also be in a similar position of power so you’re not underestimating yourself, you’re not underestimating your worth, you’re not underestimating your future.

‘Instead, you’re leaning into the possibility that every single thing can happen because you have conditions surrounding you and examples in front of you that indicate that you, too, can help to change the world.

‘And I think in the small ways that women are doing that each day and the larger ways that we are doing that as a community, those are the elements that continue to inspire me to use my voice.

‘Because I also recognise how small it feels when you don’t. It doesn’t feel great to suffer in silence or even just sit in silence if in those moments you want to be heard or if you have something to say.

‘So I think part of the role-modeling that I certainly try to do as a mother is to encourage our daughter – at three she has found her voice and we are so proud of that, because that is how we, as I was saying, create the conditions in which there is a ripple effect of young girls and young women knowing that if someone else is encouraging them to use their voice and be heard, that’s what they are going to do.

‘They are going to create a very different environment than so many of us grew up in, where our voices were meant to be smaller and now, in raising them, we’re changing the conditions and the environment where everyone has space to be the best version of themselves.’

Making her final remarks to the panel, Meghan Markle said as Prince Harry listened from a seat in the audience:  ‘I think when we really look at how we can continue to inspire and create change, all of the examples I was listing earlier from our standpoint, certainly through the Archewell Foundation, are key elements in doing that.

‘And I can start at the very grassroots level, I do believe that also starts at home, modelling that behaviour very young and seeing it work its way through.

‘From my standpoint, how I will continue to express this, both through our foundation and through being able to move through the world, I suppose, is just looking at this as my chapter of joy.

‘And the more that you are able to look at your life and really, truly, recognise that if you’re going to be grateful for your life, you have to be grateful for all aspects of it.

‘The parts that were opportunities of growth and may have felt very difficult as well as the parts that feel inspiring, joyful and full.

‘I think part of the role-modelling doesn’t necessarily need to be a large plan, it just needs to be an intention and my intentionality is to enjoy this chapter and to be able to move through every piece of that as best as I can, modelling that if we are in the spirit of gratitude and of generosity, how we are able to connect with each other as women and how we are able to move through the world in a much freer way, I think is part of how we continue to create the conditions that I was speaking about earlier.

‘And you may have noticed, my husband and I were talking about it this morning, I just really relaxed on this trip – that’s probably because it’s Colombia and you all know how to have fun.

‘There is something so liberating about being able to be yourself and be comfortable in your skin and be surrounded in a space that is excited to see you exactly the way that you are.

‘I think that is part of the chapter for me, of joy, that will hopefully continue to inspire and allow me to keep doing the work that we love to do, which is to just be of service and to see other people live their lives through that same joyful spirit.’

Meghan Markle ‘THROWS A BOMB’ in everyone’s faces by suggesting her life is on the same trajectory as the Queen.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has once again stirred the pot with her latest comments, suggesting that her life is on the same trajectory as the Queen’s. This bold statement has left many people in shock and disbelief, causing a significant stir among royal watchers and the general public alike.

In her latest interview, Meghan did not hold back, drawing parallels between her experiences and those of Queen Elizabeth II. She spoke about the scrutiny she faces, the challenges of royal life, and her desire to serve and make a positive impact, much like the Queen has done throughout her reign. However, the comparison has not been well received by everyone.

Critics argue that Meghan’s experiences as a royal are vastly different from those of the Queen. Queen Elizabeth II ascended the throne at a young age and has dedicated her life to her role, navigating through decades of change and maintaining a sense of continuity and stability within the monarchy. Meghan, on the other hand, has faced a different set of challenges, particularly in terms of media scrutiny and public perception.

One of the most controversial claims made by Meghan is that she is hated for being a threat to Princess Catherine, the Princess of Wales. This statement has reignited the age-old narrative of a feud between the two royal women. According to Meghan, the media and public’s animosity towards her stems from a perceived rivalry with Catherine. She suggested that the comparisons between them are unfair and have contributed to the negative portrayal of her in the media.

Meghan pointed out that, from the beginning of her relationship with Prince Harry, she felt an underlying tension, partly due to the media’s fascination with pitting her against Catherine. She mentioned that the constant comparisons regarding their fashion choices, charitable endeavors, and public appearances created a competitive narrative that she found difficult to navigate.

Furthermore, Meghan emphasized that her independent spirit and willingness to speak out on issues close to her heart have been misconstrued as rebellious and threatening. She highlighted her advocacy work, particularly in areas of racial equality and women’s rights, and suggested that these efforts have sometimes been overshadowed by the negative press.

In response to Meghan’s claims, royal experts and insiders have offered varied perspectives. Some sympathize with Meghan’s plight, acknowledging the difficulties she has faced as a biracial woman entering an institution steeped in tradition and expectation. They argue that the intense media scrutiny and public pressure have undoubtedly contributed to the challenges she and Harry have encountered.

However, others believe that Meghan’s comparison to the Queen and her suggestion of being a threat to Catherine are exaggerated and self-serving. They argue that while Meghan has faced significant challenges, her approach to dealing with them has sometimes been divisive and confrontational.

The narrative of a feud between Meghan and Catherine has been a recurring theme in the media, often fueled by anonymous sources and speculative reports. Both women have, at various times, attempted to dispel these rumors, emphasizing their mutual respect and support for each other. However, Meghan’s latest comments are likely to reignite the debate and further polarize opinions.

In conclusion, Meghan Markle’s recent remarks have once again placed her at the center of public debate. By drawing parallels between her life and the Queen’s and suggesting that she is hated for being a threat to Princess Catherine, Meghan has sparked a new wave of controversy. As the discussions continue, it remains to be seen how these comments will impact her public image and relationship with the royal family
