And both Hannah and Dylan have been tuning in to watch the new season unfold each week.

This week, Dylan posted a funny video on his Instagram page, showing him and Hannah reacting to Colton on the show. Over a clip of him intensely staring, Dylan wrote, “Watching my wife’s reaction when her ex comes on the screen.”

The video then shows clips of Colton on “The Traitors” before cutting to a wide shot of Dylan right next to Hannah, staring at her while she watches the TV.

    Instagram
The Bachelor Nation star jokingly captioned the post, “Banish” and followers filled the comments with their reactions.

Fellow Bachelor Nation alum Demar Jackson teased, “Trynna catch Hannah slippin 👀 😂”

Adam Gottschalk posted a meme of someone sitting down and eating popcorn, and one person said, “hahahahahaah wait this is so funny 😂”

A fan tagged Hannah and wrote, “I know you are trying not to laugh lol,” to which she replied, “I had no clue what he was filming.”

Too funny! We love Hannah and Dylan’s content together, and we can’t wait to see how the rest of Colton’s time on the show goes.

THE BATTLE FOR JUSTICE TAKES A SHOCKING TURN: WASPI WOMEN ACCUSE GOVERNMENT OF STEALING PENSIONS!

A cɑse for stɑte pension compensɑtion for millions of women born in the 1950s is heɑding to court eɑrlier thɑn expected in the lɑtest development for the Women Agɑinst Stɑte Pension Inequɑlity (Wɑspi) cɑmpɑign.

Judges will convene for ɑn urgent cɑse mɑnɑgement heɑring tomorrow (December 3) to exɑmine how the Lɑbour Gσverпment’s pledge to revisit its stɑnce on Wɑspi compensɑtion ɑffects ongoing legɑl proceedings.

According to those impɑcted, this resulted in mɑny women being ɑble to sufficiently prepɑre finɑnciɑlly for retirement ɑs they believed they would be ɑble to ɑccess pɑyments eɑrlier.

Lɑbour is being urged to ‘reconsider’ their initiɑl decision over stɑte pension compensɑtion for Wɑspi women.

Lɑst yeɑr, ɑn investigɑtion by the Pɑrliɑment ɑnd Heɑlth Service Ombudsmɑn (PHSO) determined women born in the 1950s were victims of “mɑlɑdministrɑtion” in the Depɑrtment for Work ɑnd Pensions’ (DWP) hɑndling of sɑid chɑnges.

The ombudsmɑn ɑsserted thɑt Wɑspi women could be entitled to ɑ level four pɑyout, which is worth up to neɑrly £3,000, but noted it wɑs the responsibility of MPs to vote on ɑnd set ɑ compensɑtion pɑyment pɑckɑge.

Despite this, both the Lɑbour ɑnd Conservɑtive Gσverпments refused to tɑke up the cɑse of stɑte pension compensɑtion. Aheɑd of the Budget, DWP minister Pɑt McFɑdden confirmed the Gσverпment were reexɑmining the cɑse.

The heɑring represents ɑn unexpected development in the litigɑtion, with the court seeking to understɑnd the rɑmificɑtions of the Work ɑnd Pensions Secretɑry’s commitment mɑde in November to reconsider the originɑl decision to reject ɑ pɑyout.

Wɑspi’s legɑl chɑllenge ɑgɑinst the Gσverпment’s dismissɑl of compensɑtion proposɑls remɑins scheduled for December 9 ɑnd December 10, though the cɑmpɑign group hɑs instructed solicitors to pursue guɑrɑntees ɑbout the reconsiderɑtion process.

Notɑbly, the cɑmpɑign group wɑnts clɑrity on timelines ɑnd procedures before deciding whether to proceed with the full heɑring. Wɑspi cɑmpɑigners feɑr ministers might produce ɑnother decision mirroring the originɑl rejection, complete with whɑt they describe ɑs identicɑl legɑl deficiencies currently under chɑllenge.

No specific ɗeɑɗline hɑs been provided for completing the reconsiderɑtion, heightening concerns ɑbout potentiɑl delɑys in resolving the long-running dispute over stɑte pension ɑge chɑnges.

Angelɑ Mɑdden, who chɑirs WASPI, ɑcknowledged thɑt November’s ɑnnouncement mɑrked significɑnt progress ɑs ministers conceded cruciɑl evidence hɑd been overlooked when rejecting the Ombudsmɑn’s recommendɑtions on compensɑtion ɑnd injustice findings.

However, she criticised the Gσverпment’s reluctɑnce to clɑrify its ɑpproɑch to the reconsiderɑtion or provide ɑ definitive schedule.

“Our lɑwyers hɑve been pressing the Gσverпment on these ɑnd other mɑtters,” Ms Mɑdden stɑted.

“The imminent court heɑrings mɑy not be necessɑry, but only if we cɑn be confident the Gσverпment is willing to reconsider in the right wɑy.”

She described the issue of Wɑspi compensɑtion ɑs being “high stɑkes” for women impɑcted by the perceived historic injustice.

The impɑct extends beyond the millions of ɑffected women to the integrity of the Ombudsmɑn system itself, ɑccording to Ms Mɑdden, who wɑrned thɑt public trust in grievɑnce procedures ɑgɑinst government depɑrtments hɑngs in the bɑlɑnce.

“Most importɑntly of ɑll, every 13 minutes, ɑ Wɑspi womɑn ɗιes without seeing justice,” she sɑid, underlining the humɑn cσst of continued delɑys.

Scottish morning host Lorraine Kelly was left devastated after she broke the news of her ITV co-star’s departure live on her show.

She admitted, ‘I can’t bear it’ as the told viewers on Thursday morning’s episode that the Lorraine show presenter would be leaving the show imminently, not long after various changes came into the ITV schedules in the new year following a series of cuts.

A sad-looking Lorraine finished the episode by revealing that it was former Strictly star Tyler West’s final day fronting the entertainment segment of her show.

As the new KISS FM Breakfast host alongside Love Island alum Chloe Burrows, she explained he would simply not have the capacity to remain in his job on her morning show.

The early morning show Tyler is taking on had been hosted by Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely since 2020, but the duo dramatically quit their roles back in December.

Tyler, who currently has a presenting slot on Kiss in the afternoons, previously said of his new role, “Kiss Fam! The mornings are going to be unreal!” He added, “It’s time for big laughs and bigger tunes. KISS is where home is – this is your new breakfast show where the door is always open. It’s going to be carnage!”

The popular show rivals the likes of Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James and Capital Breakfast, presented by Chris Stark, Jordan North and Sian Welby.

Tyler has been riding high recently with a stint on Celebrity Race Across the World, in which he finished second, alongside his fiancee, EastEnders star Molly Rainford.

The pair narrowly missed winning the show – and were just two minutes behind Roman and Harley Moon Kemp, after competing in a 5,900km, 33-day journey through Central America – from Mexico to Colombia, with a strict budget and no phones.

Last December, the radio host broke down in tears as he revealed that he attempted suicide after being witness to a murder when he was a teenager.

Tyler explained that he was just 14 when he watched an argument between two “local alcoholics” escalate from his bedroom window – and that one man brought out a knife and slashed the other’s neck.

Revealing that seeing the violent attack left him with “PTSD that I just couldn’t get rid of” on Paul C. Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast, he bravely shared that what he saw still affects him deeply.

He said, “My reaction to it all, was no, I can’t talk about it and that was probably the worst decision I ever made, like not talking about it… Because it built up a lot, like it was just, let’s sweep it under the carpet to the point that then it was unavoidable.

  • The Nation Holds Its Breath: Anne Diamond’s Quiet Courage as She Faces the Hardest Fight of Her Life

The Nation Holds Its Breath: Anne Diamond’s Quiet Courage as She Faces the Hardest Fight of Her Life

Beloved TV presenter Anne Diamond has spoken with heartbreaking honesty about her cancer battle, revealing the deeply personal struggle she has been facing away from the cameras.

Anne Diamond tiết lộ cô đang chiến đấu với căn bệnh ung thư trong một cuộc phỏng vấn với Dan Wootton trên GB News

Anne shared the news during an emotional interview with Dan Wootton on GB News, confirming that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and has undergone major surgery.

After decades of lighting up British mornings with warmth, reassurance and wisdom, the television icon is now confronting what many describe as the most challenging chapter of her life — a private fight that has left viewers across the country deeply moved.

From Studio Lights to Hospital Rooms

TV legend Anne Diamond recently revealed she has breast cancer and has undergone a mastectomy

Life, Anne admits, has a brutal way of pulling the ground from beneath your feet.

“I was brought up a Roman Catholic,” she reflected in her own words, “and no matter how lapsed you become, there’s always that fear of being punished from above. What came next didn’t just bring me back down to Earth — it felt like a slow-motion car crash.”

Cuộc sống có cách kỳ lạ để tát bạn ngã. Tôi được nuôi dạy theo Công giáo La Mã, và dù có sa ngã đến đâu, bạn vẫn luôn sợ bị trừng phạt từ trên cao. Những gì xảy ra tiếp theo không chỉ kéo tôi trở về mặt đất, mà còn giống như một vụ tai nạn xe hơi chậm rãi, ANNE DIAMOND viết.life has a weird way of slapping you down. I was brought up a Roman Catholic and, no matter how lapsed you might be, you always fear reprisal from on high. What came next didn’t just bring me back down to Earth, it felt like more like a slow car crash, writes ANNE DIAMOND

For more than forty years, Anne’s voice and presence were woven into the fabric of British television. From Good Morning Britain to Good Morning with Anne and Nick and her later work at GB News, she became a trusted companion in millions of homes.

But behind the familiar smile, a devastating diagnosis was quietly unfolding.

In 2023, Anne revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer — heartbreakingly, on the very same day she received an email informing her she had been awarded an OBE for her services to broadcasting and charity.

“I thought it was just a quick mammogram,” she later told The Guardian.
“By the afternoon, I was surrounded by doctors, scans, and words no woman ever wants to hear.”

Anne, pictured with her son Sebastian in 1991, became a campaigner for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome awareness after Sebastian died of cot deathAnne, pictured with her son Sebastian in 1991, became a campaigner for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome awareness after Sebastian died of cot death

What should have been a moment of celebration instantly turned into one of shock and disbelief.

A Relentless Battle Behind Closed Doors

Anne went on to undergo a double mastectomy, followed by radiotherapy — a journey she described as long, frightening, and emotionally draining, yet filled with unexpected moments of gratitude.

During her recovery, she was rushed back to hospital after suffering dangerously high blood pressure. Despite this, friends say her determination to carry on never wavered. Remarkably, she returned to work not long after, choosing professionalism and purpose over fear.

“She’s always been a fighter,” one close friend said quietly.
“But this time, the battle feels different.”

    Strength Shaped by Tragedy

Those closest to Anne believe her resilience has been forged by profound loss. In 1991, she suffered the devastating death of her baby son Sebastian, who died of cot death — a tragedy that transformed her life forever.

Following his death, Anne became a tireless campaigner for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome awareness, launching the Back to Sleep campaign, which is credited with dramatically reducing infant mortality rates across the UK.

It was a turning point that reshaped her purpose — and one that continues to define her legacy.

    Facing Her Own Limits

While no official statement has confirmed the stage of Anne’s illness, those around her speak of a woman who has reached a place of quiet acceptance.

“She doesn’t see herself as a victim,” Anne once said.
“I’m just a woman fighting back.”

Friends describe her as calm, reflective and deeply appreciative of the smallest joys — the sound of the sea, the laughter of her grandchildren, a cup of tea by the window in the early morning light.

Even now, they say, her dignity remains unwavering.

    More Than a Presenter

Anne Diamond’s impact extends far beyond television. She has long been regarded not just as a broadcaster, but as a force for good — someone who turned personal tragedy into national change.

And now, as she faces her own health battle, her story carries a renewed message: listen to your body, check yourself, cherish your health, and never take a single sunrise for granted.

    A Nation’s Quiet Vigil

If Anne truly is entering a reflective chapter of her extraordinary life, it is one defined not by fear — but by courage, grace and love.

Friends say she spends her days surrounded by family, memories and quiet moments of peace. And for a woman who gave her heart to the nation for decades, it feels only right that the nation now gives its heart back to her.

✨ She gave her heart to television — and now the country holds its breath, hoping for strength, comfort and peace.

Zoe Ball has shared insight into her ‘tricky’ journey to sobriety, nearly a decade after quitting booze for good.

The Radio 2 star, 55, has openly shared her struggles with alcohol, and even revealed in 2020 that she had a stint in rehab to deal with her problem drinking.

Reflecting on her own sobriety journey, Zoe shared that one of the biggest challenges was managing the ‘reaction’ from some of her friends and loved ones to her decision to go sober, admitting some would still urge to her have ‘just one.’

The discussion come during the latest episode of her Dig It podcast, where she and pal Jo Whiley were discussing a listener’s question about doing Dry January.

Zoe said: ‘It is quite tricky because you sort of have to change your socialising habits a little bit. I think more and more people don’t drink these days, so you have lots of options for  drinks around you.

‘I know there’s quite a lot of people who drink beer, zero alcohol beer, zero alcohol wine, you can get no-secco.

The Radio 2 star has openly shared her struggles with alcohol, and even srevealed in 2020 she had a stint in rehab to deal with her problem drinking (pictured in 1997)

‘I found for me, just not drinking full-stop was better for me than having anything with no alcohol. I just found it easier.

‘Often the people’s reaction around you, I found even in my own family would be like ”oh go on just have one, go one, just have one, just have one” and they were the days where you used to have to tell people you were on antibiotics or something.’

Zoe then went on to note: ‘I had certain friends me who really were supportive about me not drinking.’

Reflecting on the previous New Year, she said: ‘I woke up on New Year’s Day, it’s like ”god I love this feeling of waking up, not shameful.”

Zoe has previously been candid about her struggles with alcohol and in 2014 admitted she broke her sobriety after six years of abstinence, which she first began in 2009 on the morning of New Year’s Day following a party of ‘total carnage’.

The mother-of-two said it took her several attempts to tackle her alcohol problem that accompanied her career from children’s television presenter to the first female host of Radio 1’s Breakfast Show, before quitting booze for good in 2016.

‘You’ll find that you’ll deal with it a little bit but then you slip back into old ways,’ she said. ‘It took me a couple of attempts to sort that out.’

Explaining how she finally dealt with her problem drinking, Zoe told Desert Island Discs: ‘I was lucky enough to go to rehab actually and through meeting other people who had addictions as well.’

Reflecting on her own sobriety journey, Zoe shared that one of the biggest challenges was managing the ‘reaction’ from some of her friends and loved ones

Her reputation as a party girl increased after her 1999 marriage to superstar DJ Fatboy Slim, when she often found herself among other female stars known for their booze-fuelled antics.

‘It’s weird, because you do this job and you are talking and are gregarious and all these things but I am actually quite shy. But you could walk into the room if you’d had a drink.’

In December, Zoe announced she was quitting her BBC Radio 2 show after just seven months, with Emma Willis taking over her slot.

Announcing her exit she said: ‘I have loved being betwixt my dear friends [and fellow presenters] Romesh [Ranganathan] and Rylan, and you know, I love you all to bits, but I’m not disappearing completely’.

‘Obviously, it’ll be Christmas Crooners and I’m doing an Eras show in the New Year, more on that later. I am thrilled to tell you that you will be in the safest of hands, because there is a super woman who is no stranger to you all, but this does mean that she will officially become a member of the Radio 2 family.’

In an official statement Zoe said: ‘Spending Saturday lunchtimes with the Radio 2 gang has been an absolute hoot, the listeners, the stories, and of course my weekly giggles with Romesh and Rylan’.

Zoe also recently opened up on going through a ‘tough year’ after the tragic death of her mother in April 2024.

Julia Peckham died after a battle with pancreatic cancer, with Zoe stepping down down as host of her BBC Radio 2 show afterwards, to ‘focus on family’

The star, who was once one of the corporation’s most-paid stars, signed off from her Saturday afternoon show last week.

Reflecting on the last 12 months to The Mirror last week, she said: ‘As you get older, do you become a bit more, f*** it, do you stop worrying about things?

‘I’ve been thinking about it. I don’t know if that’s true, because you might care less about some of the daft stuff that you used to worry about. But, actually, there’s loads of other stuff to worry about.’

She added: ‘Life is a bit like Indiana Jones sometimes, isn’t it? Like when the massive ball is running down the hill, you’re like, ‘for f***’s sake’ just trying to deal with this.’

In December, Zoe announced she was quitting her BBC Radio 2 show after just seven months, with Emma Willis taking over her slot (pictured in 2024)

Zoe previously fought back tears as she revealed she had an emotional breakdown following her mother’s death and the sheer impact it had on her, revealing she was forced to take time off work following a breakdown.

Speaking on her Dig It podcast, she recalled: ‘I couldn’t work. I was on the floor in the kitchen. I couldn’t, I couldn’t move.

‘I had a proper emotional breakdown, you know, I haven’t really talked about it actually. But it was, yeah, it was brutal.

‘I had an amazing doctor who turned up at my door with coffee and bagels and said, “so, we need to get you some help”, and he was wonderful.’

  • “Ready to Dive In” — Emmerdale’s Laura Norton Sends Shockwaves as 2026 Tribute Hints at a Bold New Chapter SS

“Ready to Dive In” — Emmerdale’s Laura Norton Sends Shockwaves as 2026 Tribute Hints at a Bold New Chapter SS

“Ready to Dive In” — Emmerdale’s Laura Norton Sends Shockwaves as 2026 Tribute Hints at a Bold New Chapter

One phrase, one tribute — and a future suddenly wide open

When Laura Norton described herself as “ready to dive in” while reflecting on an upcoming 2026 tribute, the words landed with far more weight than a casual soundbite. For fans of Emmerdale, it felt like a signal flare — the kind that marks the end of one chapter and the quiet beginning of another.

This wasn’t a dramatic exit announcement or a flashy tease about a shock storyline. It was subtler than that. And in the world of soaps, subtlety is often where the biggest truths hide.

As Emmerdale looks ahead to a landmark period in 2026, Laura Norton’s reflective tone — equal parts pride, readiness, and unresolved emotion — has sparked a wave of speculation. Is she preparing to step into a deeper on-screen role? Embracing a new off-screen responsibility? Or standing at the edge of something that could redefine her place in the Emmerdale legacy?

One thing is clear: this is not nostalgia talking.
    This is momentum.

A career shaped by resilience, not noise

Laura Norton has never been the loudest voice in the room — and that’s precisely why her words now are resonating so deeply.

Best known to viewers as Kerry Wyatt, Laura has spent years portraying a woman defined by survival. Kerry isn’t polished. She isn’t perfect. She’s impulsive, emotional, flawed — and painfully human. Those qualities didn’t just make Kerry memorable; they made her real.

Off screen, Laura’s journey has mirrored that same resilience. Her career hasn’t been built on controversy or constant reinvention, but on quiet consistency. Showing up. Doing the work. Evolving without demanding attention.

That’s why the phrase “ready to dive in” feels loaded. It suggests a moment of choice — a willingness to lean into uncertainty rather than step back from it.

For an actor who has already weathered cast changes, long breaks, and shifting story priorities, that readiness speaks volumes.

The weight of a 2026 tribute: Celebration or crossroads?

Tributes in soap culture are never just ceremonial. They’re reflective — and often strategic.

A 2026 tribute signals more than an anniversary. It’s an invitation to look back, to measure impact, and to decide what comes next. For Laura Norton, it arrives at a point where experience meets possibility.

Insiders suggest the tribute will honour not just longevity, but contribution. The kind that doesn’t always make headlines but leaves fingerprints on the fabric of a show. Kerry Wyatt’s storylines have tackled grief, addiction, poverty, and motherhood with a rawness that refuses to soften for comfort.

Laura has carried that weight without ever appearing to buckle under it.

So when she says she’s ready to “dive in,” the question becomes: into what?

A hunger fans didn’t know was still burning

Here’s the part no one is saying out loud — but everyone is sensing.

    Laura Norton sounds… hungry.

    Not for fame.
    Not for chaos.
    But for challenge.

There’s a subtle undercurrent in her recent reflections that suggests she’s no longer content with simply maintaining what she’s built. She wants to stretch. To explore. To commit fully to whatever comes next — whether that’s a darker Kerry Wyatt arc, a leadership role behind the scenes, or a leap beyond the Dales altogether.

For an actor long associated with one iconic role, that hunger can be both exhilarating and terrifying. Staying feels safe. Diving in feels risky.

And risk, in this industry, is everything.

Kerry Wyatt: A character still full of untold stories

For fans, the most immediate speculation centres on Kerry herself.

Kerry Wyatt has never been neatly wrapped up. Her story has always felt unfinished — not because it lacked resolution, but because life rarely offers clean endings. Kerry survives. She adapts. She keeps going.

Laura’s renewed sense of readiness has reignited hopes that Kerry may be heading into a more complex phase — one that reflects maturity rather than reinvention. Less chaos for chaos’ sake. More consequence. More emotional depth.

Could Emmerdale be preparing to let Kerry anchor a major 2026 storyline? One that draws on her history instead of rewriting it?

If so, Laura Norton’s timing couldn’t be more perfect.

     “She’s earned whatever comes next”

Unsurprisingly, fans have responded with a mixture of excitement and protectiveness.

Across social media and fan forums, one sentiment keeps repeating: Laura Norton has earned her moment.

Some viewers see the “ready to dive in” comment as a sign of renewed commitment to Emmerdale — a promise that Kerry’s story is far from over. Others interpret it as a graceful acknowledgement that change is coming, even if its shape remains unclear.

There’s also a growing appreciation for Laura’s honesty. In an industry that often pressures actors to project certainty, her openness about readiness — rather than guarantees — feels refreshing.

“She doesn’t need to prove anything,” one fan wrote.
“And yet she’s still willing to take the leap.”

A woman shaped by the show — and shaping it in return

What sets Laura Norton apart is her relationship with Emmerdale itself.

This is not a stepping-stone role she outgrew. It’s a space where she learned, evolved, and found her voice. That mutual shaping is rare — and it creates a bond that doesn’t break easily.

As Emmerdale looks toward 2026, celebrating its people as much as its plots, Laura’s presence feels symbolic. A reminder that soaps endure not just because of spectacle, but because of performers willing to stay grounded through change.

Her readiness to “dive in” suggests she understands that legacy isn’t something you protect by standing still. It’s something you build by moving forward — even when the water looks deep.

     What happens after the dive?

For now, Laura Norton is offering no specifics. No roadmap. No spoilers.

    Just readiness.

And in a world built on anticipation, that may be the most powerful statement of all.

Whether the 2026 tribute ushers in a career-defining storyline, a new creative direction, or the first step toward something entirely different, one truth is impossible to ignore: Laura Norton isn’t looking back.

She’s looking ahead — steady, grounded, and prepared to leap.

Because sometimes, the bravest move an actor can make isn’t walking away.

    It’s choosing to dive deeper.

    Closing questions

Does Laura Norton’s “ready to dive in” signal a major new chapter for Kerry Wyatt in Emmerdale?

Could the 2026 tribute mark a turning point that reshapes Laura’s future — on screen or beyond it?

And when the moment finally arrives, will this leap redefine her legacy… or expand it in ways fans never expected?

One tribute. One decision. And a future waiting just beneath the surface.

ED DAVEY’S BOMBSHELL MESSAGE FOR 2025: “I WILL DEFEAT FARAGE!”

Sir Ed Davey has boasted about “taking the fight” to Nigel Farage and vowed to stop the Reform UK leader making Britain like Donald Trump’s America in his New Year message to the nation.

The Liberal Democrat leader, in his Christmas message, used his pre-recorded address to look back on his electoral achievements in 2025.

Speaking opposite the Houses of Parliament beside Westminster Bridge, Sir Ed said: “2025 hasn’t always been easy, but I am so proud of everything our Liberal Democrat team has achieved this year.

“Our record breaking success in the local elections – beating Labour and the Conservatives.

“Our victories in Parliament – from banning puppy smuggling to backing a new Customs Union with the EU.

“Fighting to end the cost-of-living crisis. Protect our environment. Fix the NHS and social care.

“Standing up to Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Taking the fight to Nigel Farage – and winning.

“And we can win again in 2026 – in Scotland, Wales and across England.

“To stop Trump’s America becoming Farage’s Britain. And change our country for the better.

“So from all of us at the Liberal Democrats: I hope you have a happy and hopeful New Year. Let’s make it a good one.”

The Liberal Democrat leader has been ramping up his attacks against Mr Farage throughout the year, using his keynote conference speech to warn the Reform UK leader would follow Mr Trump in scrapping the NHS and rolling back gun laws.

Sir Ed also included a round-up of 2025 in his message, with the Liberal Democrat leader sharing footage of him playing cricket, visiting farmers, opposing Mr Trump’s tariffs and standing up for Gazans over the “abhorrent” war in Gaza.

He also included footage of Tory leader Kemi Badenoch swiping at the Liberal Democrats for “fixing church roofs”.

However, Liberal Democrat leader also shared footage from inside the House of Commons, including a fiery exchange between MPs and Nigel Farage.

Despite claiming the Liberal Democrats have been defeating Reform UK at the ballot box, opinion polls continue to show Mr Farage’s party as the frontrunners ahead of the next general election.

Find Out Now’s Christmas Eve poll puts Reform UK on 30 per cent, 12 points ahead of the Tories in second.

Meanwhile, Zack Polanski’s Green Party soared from seven per cent in 2024 to 17 per cent.

Sir Keir Starmer’s Labour has seen its support more than halve to just 14 per cent, leaving the Liberal Democrats in fifth place on just 12 per cent.

However, Sir Ed had plenty to smile about at the 2025 Local Elections, finishing second nationally after winning an extra 163 wards and taking control of an additional three councils.

The Liberal Democrats have also won more council by-elections in 2025 than any other party, narrowly edging out Reform UK by just one seat.

Despite claiming to have put Mr Farage on the back foot, Reform UK recorded the most by-election gains of any party since the 2025 Local Elections.

Mr Farage has picked up an additional 58 wards since May 1, with the Liberal Democrats and Greens adding an extra 19 and two to their respective tallies.

Reform UK is also polling strongly ahead of key electoral contests in Scotland and Wales, while the Liberal Democrats remain in single digits ahead of polls opening for both bouts.

However, Sir Ed will still hope to make significant inroads on May 7 next year, with Liberal Democrat candidates expected to perform strongly in London and the Home Counties.

Sir Ed faces his next major challenge on January 16, when MPs will debate the second reading of Liberal Democrat MP Dr Al Pinkerton’s proposed legislation for the UK to join a Customs Union with the EU.

The Ten Minute Rule Bill, which was brought forward by the Surrey Heath MP on December 9, passed by a majority of one.

The vote was evenly split with 100 MPs supporting calls to bind Britain to Brussels’s rule-taking trade arrangement and 100 MPs voting against.

Deputy Speaker Caroline Nokes, who had the whip removed by Boris Johnson after rebelling against Brexit in September 2019, was called to cast the deciding vote.

Ms Nokes pointed out that her casting vote was merely following parliamentary precedent.

“In accordance with precedent, I will cast the casting vote aye to allow further debate,” Ms Nokes said.

Richard Madeley’s Children Disown Him After Uncovering the Truth Behind His Separation from Judy

Richard Madeley, a well-known British television presenter, has recently faced a deeply personal family crisis. His children have reportedly disowned him after learning the real reasons behind his separation from his wife, Judy Finnigan. This revelation has not only shocked their family but also brought to light the immense pain their mother endured during their marriage. In this article, we explore the circumstances surrounding this family turmoil, the emotional impact on all involved, and what it means for Richard Madeley’s future relationships.

The Real Reason Behind Richard Madeley and Judy’s Separation

For years, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan were seen as one of television’s most beloved couples. Their partnership, both on and off-screen, appeared strong and enduring. However, recent disclosures have revealed a different story behind their separation. According to sources close to the family, Judy had to endure significant emotional pain during their marriage, which ultimately led to their decision to live apart.

The children’s discovery of these hidden struggles has been a pivotal moment. They learned that their mother’s suffering was far greater than they had imagined, and this knowledge has deeply affected their perception of their father. The revelation has caused a rift between Richard and his children, who feel betrayed and hurt by the circumstances that were kept from them.

How Judy’s Pain Impacted the Family Dynamic

Judy Finnigan’s endurance of emotional hardship did not go unnoticed by those closest to her, but it remained largely private until now. The strain on their marriage inevitably influenced the family atmosphere, affecting not only Richard and Judy but also their children. The emotional toll on Judy was profound, and her resilience in facing these challenges has been both inspiring and heartbreaking.

The children’s reaction to uncovering the truth highlights the complexities of family relationships and the importance of transparency. Feeling that their mother’s pain was overlooked or minimized, they have chosen to distance themselves from their father. This decision underscores the lasting impact that unresolved issues and hidden struggles can have on familial bonds.

He acknowledges the pain caused and hopes to rebuild trust with his children over time. Conclusion

The story of Richard Madeley’s children disowning him after discovering the true reason behind his separation from Judy Finnigan is a poignant example of how hidden family pain can lead to profound consequences. Judy’s endurance of emotional hardship and the impact on their children’s relationship with their father reveal the complexities of family dynamics. As Richard seeks to repair these bonds, this situation reminds us all of the importance of honesty and compassion in maintaining strong family connections.
