Loose Women pulled off air in shock ITV schedule shake-up as audience boos

Loose Women viewers were in for a surprise on Thursday as the hit ITV chat show only aired for 30 mins before it was pulled off air at 1pm instead of finishing at it usual time of 1:30pm

Loose Women was pulled off air in a shock schedule shake-up on Thursday.

The hit ITV chat show typically airs every weekday at 12:30pm until 1pm. However, on Thursday, the programme only aired for 30 mins before it was pulled off air at 1pm. Replacing it was ITV Lunchtime, which aired from 1pm before ITV Racing: Live from Newmarket took over coverage at 1:30pm with it due to end at 4pm.

And it’s bad news for Loose Women on Friday (12 July) too as the ITV chat show will again be finishing at the earlier time of 1pm. Addressing the end of Thursday’s show, host Charlene White said: “That’s it, we’re done because the racing’s on!” to which her co-stars – Olivia Attwood, Linda Robson and Sue Cleaver – all booed with the audience also joining in.

It comes as Emmerdale and Coronation Street viewers were left disappointed on Wednesday 10 July as the ITV shows were cancelled in a huge schedule shake-up. The hit ITV soaps typically air on Wednesday night with Emmerdale airing 7:30pm while Coronation Street airs 8pm. However, last night, in a huge schedule shake-up, viewers missed out on their soap fix thanks to the Live UEFA Euros 2024, where England played the Netherlands.

And there’s more bad news ahead for soap fans as on Friday (12 July) Coronation Street, which typically airs at 8pm on Fridays, will again be cancelled for the football coverage. However, Emmerdale will still air albeit at the slightly earlier time of 7pm.

Meanwhile, it’s not just the soaps interrupted as Love Island was in a huge schedule shake-up on Wednesday night with the show airing at a later time. The hit ITV2 dating series typically airs at 9pm on ITV2 but on Wednesday night (10 July) Love Island aired at 10pm instead.

Wednesday’s episode was full of explosive scenes as four Islanders left the Love Island villa in another brutal dumping – and Jess White was among them. In scenes aired on July 10 over on ITV2, couples were reeling from Uma Jammeh’s shock exit, which took place after new bombshell Reuben had tried to steal her from Wil Anderson. But hours after the loved-up pair walked out of the villa hand-in-hand, Jess, Blade, Emma and Hugo were all dumped after they failed to gain the public’s vote.

ITV Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan slams co-star and says ‘funny way of handing in your notice’

It seemed as though Loose Women star Coleen Nolan was less than impressed with her ITV colleague

ITV’s Loose Women discussed the changes in a woman’s body during Monday’s episode including the fact that some women find that their breasts get larger during their late 40s.

As Charlene White described this as “menopause boobs”, the host questioned whether or not it was inevitable for changes to happen to bodies as they get older.

Sharing her experience of having larger breasts, panellist Coleen Nolan joked her menopause must’ve started when she was 12. Admitting it was horrendous having to deal with larger breasts from a young age, she explained she was the first one in her class to have to wear a bra.

She said she was “always quite self-conscious of them” and still found it difficult going out now in an evening dress that’s very low cut or has thin straps.

However, the ITV star was distracted when a throwback photo of herself appeared on screen. Appearing in a blue off-the-shoulder dress, Coleen looked extremely different to how viewers are used to seeing her as she donned a light brown hairstyle.

Shocked at the image, she commented: “God almighty, look at the state of me! You could’ve found a better picture!”

As she tried to carry on with the conversation, it appeared as though one of the producers spoke to Coleen in her earpiece. Revealing what he said to her, she added: “He’s just said, ‘We couldn’t’ (referring to the photo). Cheeky.”

While the people in the audience erupted into laughter, with Charlene joining in, Coleen couldn’t help but take a cheeky swipe at whoever said the comment to her. She added: “That’s a funny way of handing in your notice, anyway.”

However, her quick jibe didn’t go unnoticed as Coleen also made light of the situation while the audience applauded her response.

Continuing with her point, she said: “The good thing is, when you’ve got big boobs it hurts your back and I can do this.” The ITV star then demonstrated lifting her boobs up and putting them onto the desk in front of her as people found it hilarious. She added: “So in the break, I just lift them up here, for a little break.”

Eamonn Holmes’ savage four-word dig at wife Ruth Langsford just before split

Former This Morning co-stars Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes announced their separation in a shock statement in May after 15 years of marriage

Eamonn Holmes made a savage comment about his wife Ruth Langsford just weeks before they publicly announced their separation.

The former This Morning co-stars revealed they were splitting up after 15 years of marriage back in May. But it was before that moment that Eamonn opened up about his relationship when speaking of his GB News co-presenter Isabel Webster in a recent magazine interview.

“She and my wife are incredibly alike,” the 64-year-old explained after saying Webster “never shuts up”. He also described his Loose Women presenter wife as a “creature of habit” and was making comparisons with his new on-screen TV co-star.

“They’re both creatures of habit, like routine and do things the same way every day,” he added – and in a savage swipe Eamonn said they both “get on my nerves”. Chiming in on the interview with HELLO!, Isabel admitted she and Ruth used to “gang up on him”.

“She sends me messages while we’re on air, saying things like, ‘tell him his tie’s not straight.’ And when he revealed how Ruth snores, she shot back, ‘Don’t get me started on his faults’,” Webster explained. Eamonn is grappling with both physical and emotional pain as he battles chronic back problems and attempts to navigate life after his split.

An insider revealed that Eamonn is currently “keeping his head down and just doing work and physio”. Recent photos show him struggling to enter a London café. In recent social media posts, Eamonn discussed his efforts to stand and “aim to walk next”. However, when one supporter commented, “You’re doing well Eamonn”, he responded, “If only, but thanks x”. Another fan expressed hope for his recovery, to which he replied, “trying”.

A source shared: “He is doing the best he can under the circumstances but there is not too much to smile about. He is not looking to do any interviews and is just keeping his head down and just doing work at GB News and physio sessions to try to improve his mobility.”

As previously reported, his estranged wife Ruth was left heartbroken last month upon discovering that another woman has been comforting him through their separation. Relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, 42, has accompanied the GB News presenter on several outings over the past year and has been photographed at his home.

Ruth was largely unaware of their friendship – and Katie has been spending more time with Eamonn recently. It’s believed that both Eamonn and Ruth are keen to finalise their divorce soon, but there’s still a lot to sort out behind the scenes. Insiders claim Ruth is set to “barely mention” the breakup when she makes her comeback on Loose Women.

Ruth’s pals reckon she’ll avoid drawing extra attention to the split and will be eager to return to her role on the panel. At last month’s TRIC awards, a candid Eamonn shared: “I’m not OK. This is not a good time at all.” When quizzed about the future of his relationship with Ruth, Eamonn said: “It’s too early to say but I hope we can still be friends.”

Eamonn and Ruth’s romance began in 1997 after being introduced by friends, leading to over a decade of dating before Eamonn proposed. The couple tied the knot in 2010, but they hadn’t been seen together publicly for two years prior to their split.

Bonnie Tyler, 73, reveals secret to youthful look as she leaves ITV Loose Women fans stunned

Bonnie Tyler left the Loose Women studio stunned on Monday’s show as she appeared in the ITV studio to talk about her life, autobiography and upcoming concert in London

Bonnie Tyler has revealed the secret to her youthful look as she wowed the Loose Women studio on Monday.

The Total Eclipse Of The Heart hitmaker, 73, appeared on the ITV chat show to talk about her life, autobiography Straight From The Heart and upcoming concert in London on 25 July. However, Coleen Nolan couldn’t get over her youthful looks as she said: “I have to start off by saying, we’ve just had that topic of how you go through the menopause, your body changes, your face, everything changes.

“Then you walk on and every single one of those videos we’ve just seen, some from 40 50 years ago, you look exactly the same” to which Bonnie joked: “Thank God for Botox I say!” The legendary star added: “It’s all camouflage, you wouldn’t recognise me when I get up in the morning, I’m telling you now!”

It comes as Bonnie previously told The Sun over her age-defying looks: “I’ve been having Botox twice a year, for many years, darling.” It comes as Bonnie left This Morning fans floored with her youthful appearance last year on the ITV show.

Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: “#ThisMorning Bonnie Tyler looks so good I mean”, a different account wrote: “Bonnie Tyler is looking fabulous, beautiful woman #ThisMorning.” Meanwhile, a third penned: “Bonnie Tyler looks fantastic #ThisMorning” while another commented: “Bonnie Tyler. What a fab guest. Love her. #ThisMorning.”

It come as the singer previously revealed that Bonnie Tyler isn’t her real name and when she’s not on stage performing, she is a completely different person. She went on to explain that she was born Gaynor Hopkins to dad Glyndŵr Hopkins and mum Elsie Hopkins.

Discussing the start in her music career, Bonnie said: “I used to listen to Radio Luxembourg, all of a sudden to hear your favourite music on the radio was magic. I was always singing in my bedroom with a hairbrush, as us girls do.

“And my auntie put my name down for a talent competition, so that’s how it started.” She continued: “She always used to come to the house and I’d be upstairs singing and she’d say ‘Gaynor’s got a lovely voice!’, that’s my real name, ‘Why don’t she go into this talent competition that’s going on in the local rugby club?’ She put my name down.

“Although I was kind of like ‘Oh no’, I wanted to at the same time, I was extremely shy believe it or not”, adding: “I’m Bonnie on stage and Gaynor at home!”

The Shocking Truth Behind Meghan Markle’s Interview: Worse Than You Imagined

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s recent interview with Jane Pauley has sparked public speculation about the motives behind dedicating an entire TV segment to the launch of a website. The interview, focused on this website, hardly seems like monumental news.

It’s now clear that the questions asked were sent to the Sussexes beforehand for approval and preparation, casting doubt on Meghan’s claim of surprise over being asked about her mental health struggles.

The decision to revisit these topics raises questions, especially as it highlights Harry’s inaction to help Meghan and the couple’s inconsistencies regarding their account. This move brings attention back to the many discrepancies and exaggerations from their Oprah interview, making the timing of this replay seem peculiar.

Adding to the oddness, Harry appeared uncomfortable during the interview, displaying rapid blinking and a stiff demeanor, and didn’t offer any comforting gestures to Meghan as she discussed these issues. This contrasts sharply with the outpouring of sympathy for Catherine, Princess of Wales, following her surgery and cancer announcement. The public’s warm response, including thousands of cards and well-wishes, stands in stark contrast to the response Meghan Markle has received for her alleged struggles.

The public is now questioning whether Harry and Meghan are frustrated by the lack of a similar response to Meghan’s claims. Was this interview intended to generate sympathy for Meghan, akin to the support Catherine received? The Sussexes have previously shown frustration at not receiving the same level of public approval as William and Catherine and have often compared their treatment to that of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Given this context, it’s not far-fetched to think the interview might have been an attempt to elicit sympathy.

Harry and Meghan have a history of releasing photos and posts that seem competitive and sometimes petty, even when it backfires. The interview was ostensibly about launching a website for parents who have lost a child, focusing on internet safety and addressing online bullying. However, this focus seems ironic given the couple’s reputation for bullying, both their staff and the media, as evidenced by various controversies.

A significant portion of the interview was devoted to Meghan’s claims from the Oprah interview, which have been disputed and contradicted by the Sussexes themselves. This shift felt out of place and detracted from the supposed purpose of the interview, making it appear as though the couple was seeking sympathy rather than addressing the main focus.

If the aim was to stir up public sympathy for Meghan, it appears to have failed. This failure can partly be attributed to the inconsistencies and exaggerations highlighted by the Oprah footage, and partly to the Sussexes’ ongoing campaign against the royal family and the press, which has painted them as overreactive and entitled.

The couple’s privileged status and their track record of showcasing hypocrisy, collecting undeserved awards, and blaming others for their issues have only diminished their public image. The idea that they could garner sympathy through this interview seems unrealistic given their history.

Good Morning Britain in huge host shake-up as Kate Garraway is replaced

Despite being presenter this Monday, Kate Garraway was nowhere to be seen this Tuesday, August 13, as Trisha Goddard hosted Good Morning Britain alongside Richard Madeley.

Morning TV viewers were surprised when Kate Garraway was replaced by Trisha Goddard in another host shake-up.

The Hackney-born star, 66, joined Richard Madeley this Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the helm of Good Morning Britain as the pair ran through the day’s main headlines.

This comes after Kate Garraway, 57, had to face a crisis at home while presenting the breakfast staple on Monday, as her co-presenter Richard called her out for being engrossed with her phone during an ad break.

While she disclosed no details about the ordeal, Kate previously had to take a step back from her hosting duties on GMB after her father Gordon suffered a suspected stroke and heart attack – but this time, Trisha’s guest appearance on the programme was expected.

On Thursday, August 8, during her own chat on Good Morning Britain with Kate Garraway and co-host Ed Balls, the former talk show presenter was announced to be guest presenting the show this Tuesday and Wednesday (August 14, 2024).

“I’m not normally nervous, I have to say”, she notably said, admitting being interviewed was more nerve-wracking than hosting. “That bit I’m not nervous about, and I said before this bit I’ve been shaking like a chihuahua.” The chat also led her to candidly open up about her terminal breast cancer.

Trisha Goddard’s appearance on Good Morning Britain comes after Ed Balls has announced he’d be taking his own break from the show until September, amid a plethora of Ofcom complaints.

Taking to Instagram this Monday to share a snap of him holding a pavlova and a selfie alongside Kate Garraway, Ed wrote in his caption as he broke the news: “What better way to celebrate the start of summer holidays than with a pavlova – our family favourite”, before adding that he “loved working with Kate last week during such national turbulent times.”

Ed continued: “I’m back with Susanna (Reid) at the beginning of September when schools and Parliament return – see you soon.” As mentioned, Ed Balls was targeted with backlash last week as Ofcom received more than 8,200 complaints following an episode of GMB aired on August 5.

Viewers at home were left livid by two interviews about the government’s response to the UK far-right riots. Ed Balls was notably targeted for interviewing his own wife and Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper, which TV fans deemed was a conflict of interest.

The Prince of Wales has been accused of trying to be the “David Beckham of the family” after he sported his new beard.

Prince William has been accused of trying to be the “David Beckham of the family” in an attempt to “be hip” after his latest stubble sent royal fans into a frenzy.

The Prince of Wales sported a new beard as he joined his wife, Princess Kate, in a sweet new video where they congratulated Team GB as the Olympic Games in Paris came to a close.

The video then cuts to David Beckham, who was also sporting a beard. Although many loved William’s new facial hair, An Wilson, a former columnist for the London Evening Standard, believes the prince is trying to be the “David Beckham of the family” with his new look giving “off all the wrong signals”.

Princess Kate and Prince William led a new video congratulating Team GB

The columnist went on to say that royals should only drone a beard while they are “serving in the Navy” adding that King Charles is “certainly the best-tailored man on the planet”.

He told the Daily Mail: “This is not the sort of beard William is sporting. It is more of a design statement, an attempt to look a little hip. Is it a coincidence that, in the video of him congratulating Team GB, the other two men wearing stubbly, carefully shaped little chin-growths are David Beckham and Snoop Dogg?

“Royal personages should always be well-turned out, whether in formal attire or on occasions where casual dress is demanded. But they should not be chic. They should be above fashion.

“And that is what makes me shudder about Prince William’s effort. He’s trying to be the David Beckham of the Royal Family, and it won’t do. Please, sir – shave it off.”

Many years back, Prince William was forced to shave his facial hair due royal protocol, according to the Duke of Sussex.

Harry wrote in his memoir Spare that the late Queen Elizabeth allowed Harry to keep his beard for his wedding in 2018, however William was not granted the same privledge for his big day in 2011.

The Duke wrote that William didn’t let go of the argument for over a week before asking him to shave it off before the big day, with Harry asking why on earth it mattered.

His brother replied: “Because I wasn’t allowed to keep my beard.”

In in his memoir Harry said: “Ah, there it was. After he’d come back from an assignment with Special Forces, Willy was sporting a full beard, and someone told him to be a good boy, run along and shave it. He hated the idea of me enjoying a perk he’d been denied.”

Angry Celine Dion DESTROYS Meghan In DIOR Deal War After Meghan Tried to Steal Her Olympic Spotlight

Angry Celine Dion DESTROYS Meghan In DIOR Deal War After Meghan Tried to Steal Her Olympic Spotlight

Greetings royal watchers and pop culture vultures! It’s your favorite neighborhood critic here with the hottest Hollywood tea. Grab your popcorn because things are about to get dramatic. We’re breaking down the showdown of the century – Seline Dyan vs Meghan Markle in the battle for fashion supremacy.

But before we dive in, welcome to all my new subscribers and thank you to my loyal viewers. Be sure to like, comment, and share your thoughts below. Now let’s set the scene. We find ourselves at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics. The lights dim as iconic singer Seline Dyan takes the stage. And what is she wearing? Just a little number from Dior that probably costs more than my house!

But here’s where things get juicy. While Seline is working her goddess-like vocals and making the rest of mere mortals weep, guess who’s sulking in the corner? Yup, our favorite ex-royal Meghan Markle. Now while Seline is cementing her status as undisputed queen of the world, Meghan has apparently been trying to score her own fashion deal. But here’s the kicker – Dior wasn’t biting. Ouch, talk about a royal snub!

Let’s analyze the situation. On one hand, we have Seline Dyan – Canadian icon, angel-voiced survivor who has cemented her comeback queen status. Dior is falling over themselves to dress her. Then we have Meghan, who decided marrying a prince wasn’t enough. She desperately wants more fame, spotlight, and fashion deals. But according to my sources, sometimes more is just more desperate.

When I hear “reinvent,” I think Madonna or Lady Gaga – actual icons who’ve earned their place. Not someone who rode fame by marrying into a prominent family and then trashed talked them at the first chance. Rumor has it Meghan was this close to signing a megabucks Dior deal. But instead of a contract, all she got was a big fat nope.

It seems like the entire fashion world is dodging Meghan in a game of hide and seek – and she’s perpetually “it.” Remember when she lost out to an actress from The Crown? The irony. I can picture Meghan watching Seline’s stellar performance through gritted teeth, furiously Googling how to be relevant again. But here’s the real tea – this showdown exemplifies the difference between true star power and whatever Meghan is trying to do.

Seline has weathered decades in the biz – personal tragedies, career ups and downs, always coming out on top with pure, undeniable talent. Meghan’s talents seem to lie more in instigating drama than any artistic field. If you want to play with the big dogs, you need to bring more than a sob story. While Meghan chases deals, Seline just does what she does best – singing her heart out and looking flawless in the process.

When Seline steps out in Dior, it’s fashion with a capital F – a moment, a work of wearable art that belongs in a museum. Can you imagine Meghan pulling off something so iconic? In the battle of Seline vs Meghan, there is only one clear winner – and it ain’t Meghan, honey. True star power can’t be faked, bought or married into. It comes from real talent, hard work and charisma – three things our girl is clearly lacking.

This whole saga proves what we’ve known – Meghan is desperately clinging to relevance in a world that has moved on, while we’re busy worshipping icons like Seline. Sure, Meghan may stir up drama for a minute, but in the end, everyone is talking about the real stars. In this scenario, Meghan’s not even a supporting character – she’s the extra who wandered onto the wrong set.

So in conclusion, the moral of the story is simple – you can’t outshine Seline Dyan, no matter how hard you try. To Seline, I say bravo queen for reminding us why you’re a living legend. And to Meghan – it’s time to face the music. Maybe take up knitting instead – I hear it’s very relaxing. In this epic showdown, Seline scored a knockout. But hey Meghan, don’t be too sad – there’s always QVC, right? Tune in next time for more hot takes from your friendly critic!

Five royal rules Kate Middleton has to follow but they don’t apply to Meghan Markle

As a member of the royal family there are certain rules and protocols that should be adhered to but because Kate Middleton is a senior member she is expected to follow even stricter ones than Meghan Markle ever had to

Kate has always had to follow strict rules (
    Image: PA)

Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle has made sure to take advantage of the royal rules she doesn’t have to follow, although even Kate Middleton has broken one before.

There’s obviously a certain etiquette that comes with being a member of the royal family. There are also unwritten rules that they follow with certain individuals expected to maintain a higher standard than others. Because Kate Middleton is a more senior family member, being married to the heir to the throne, Prince William, she was always required to stick to the more formal ones. In contrast Meghan Markle was permitted to bend certain rules when she was a working royal, presumably because her husband Prince Harry was further down the pecking order – or the ‘spare’ heir as he has referred to it.

Since the Sussexes stepped down as senior royals and relocated to America in 2020, clearly Meghan is free to follow her own rules, which she has taken full advantage of. But there was a time when she did as she was told too. Here are the five rules, according to BusinessInsider, that Kate has to follow but which don’t apply to Megs.

    Christmas Day celebrations

Kate wasn’t allowed to attend the family’s Christmas Day celebrations at Sandringham until she was married to Prince William. The royals gather for morning service at church and then traditionally take part in a walkabout where they meet and greet members of the public. All members of the family are invited, even those without a title, but their partners are not, until they are married. Kate first attended the day in 2011 after she and William had wed. It seemed the rules were bent for Meghan though because she first joined the service in 2017, after her engagement the month before to Prince Harry.

    No political opinions

It is widely known that the royals are expected to remain politically neutral, or at least not publicise their opinions on politics. While Kate probably voted before she tied the knot with Wills, it’s believed she no longer does. Prince Harry confirmed he had never voted in the UK during a TV broadcast of the 2020 TIME 100 unveiling in 2021. Since moving to the US, Meghan has decided to vote and publicly shared the fact on her and Harry’s charitable foundation website Archewell. In a picture posted to the site, a smiling Meghan was seen wearing a baseball cap and a ‘I voted’ sticker.

    Royal baby protocol

After the births of their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, new parents Wills and Kate followed the expected protocol of having a photograph taken by the press on the steps of the hospital. They also had a royal christening, in which a traditional gown handed down through the generations, was worn by the babies.

When Meghan and Harry welcomed Archie in 2019, they went against the usual protocol. Instead of the photocall at the hospital, they invited a select few photographers to Windsor Castle two days after the birth. There was also no public christening. When their second child Lilibet Diana was born in 2021, they had already left their royal roles and her arrival was kept entirely private.

    Rules of fashion

    meghan markle with the queen
Meghan didn’t wear a hat on her first official engagement with the Queen
    Image:

Royal ladies are expected to wear hats to formal occasions during the day, such as a wedding and tiaras for events in the evening, such as a state banquet. Meghan, who has said she favours a casual approach to fashion and was barefoot in ripped jeans when she first met Kate and William, was criticised for her first engagement with the Queen in 2018. She chose not to wear a hat, which according to royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, raised eyebrows. Since leaving The Firm, Meghan, who once revealed she wore a lot of neutrals because she wasn’t allowed to wear the same colour as the Queen or other senior royals, has been free to wear whatever she likes.

    No selfies

On her first walkabout meeting members of the public in 2017, Meghan declined a selfie with a fan and told them “we’re not allowed”. Since leaving their roles, Harry and Meghan have been seen happily taking selfies with the public – most recently on their trip to Nigeria and in a video on the Archwell website. However, Kate has also broken the rule. On an engagement in Leeds last year, the Princess of Wales allowed a ‘nervous’ fan to take a selfie with her, telling him, “it’s OK, we all get nervous”.

Meghan Markle is sending a clear message to the royal family with her ‘faux royal tour’ in Colombia with Prince Harry, according to a source.

The Sussexes have faced scrutiny over the upcoming tour of the South American nation. Critics have pointed out Meghan’s refusal to visit the UK over security fears, while agreeing to travel with her husband to Colombia, which has a notoriously high crime rate.

It will be Harry and Meghan’s second tour since stepping down as working royals; they took part in a three-day Nigeria trip in May. And, according to a source, the upcoming visit is to prove “how much the Royal Family misses her”.

“Meghan sees this Colombia tour as her chance to prove to the world what a big star she is and how much the Royal Family misses her,” the source told OK! “She knows how much she can turn it on and doing events like this was the one thing about royal life that appealed to her. She was furious when that was taken away because she knows she’s such an asset.”

The insider added: “She feels her and Harry together really shine when meeting dignitaries and locals, and it helps with the brand and their plan to be the alternative Royal Family. Meghan knows that nobody in the Royal Family can put on a show like her and Harry. When they left, they asked that they could still represent the family on tours but were told no, so she feels it’s the ultimate revenge as they were both so upset when they were rejected.”

While the exact itinerary of the visit is yet to be confirmed, the couple will travel to the capital Bogota and the coastal areas of the country The trip will also see the pair meet with young people and youth leaders.

It comes after it was revealed that Prince Harry’s new chief of staff has quit after just three months in the top job. Josh Kettler, a seasoned public relations professional, started his role with the Duke of Sussex just before his and Meghan Markle’s three-day trip to Nigeria in May. He was also seen with Harry at St Paul’s Cathedral on his last trip to London when he attended a 10th-anniversary service for his Invictus Games.

However, Mr Kettler has left his post after being hired to “guide him [Harry] through his next phase”.

It is understood that Mr Kettler’s decision to leave was ‘mutual’ and that he was hired on a trial basis, with “both sides agreeing it wasn’t the right fit”.

Mr Kettler had been based in Santa Barbara, near to the Sussexes’ Montecito home and had previously been chief of staff and head of strategic partnerships at the communication platform Cognixion. He had also worked for outdoor clothing brand Patagonia.

Harry and Meghan have lost nine employees since making the move to California, with one former staffer telling the Mail: “What may be most telling is that the entire time I worked there, I don’t think I heard a single current or former employee on their staff say they would take the job again if given the chance.

“These aren’t employees they had just found off the streets. Many of them are people who had previously excelled working for demanding bosses in high-performance companies and environments.”
