EXCLUSIVE: Harry took a transatlantic flight to the UK last week and conducted himself in a discreet manner, says one royal expert.

Prince Harry was in the UK last week, and it must have been nerve-wracking for the Duke to not know how he would be received, says one royal expert, predicting Harry and William will cross paths again but will avoid each other.

Harry made the transatlantic flight for his uncle’s funeral, which landed him and his brother in the same room for the first time in over a year, but they didn’t actually exchange words, it is claimed.

Pauline Maclaran, author of Royal Fever and Professor of Marketing and Consumer Research at Royal Holloway, University of London, spoke to Daily Express US about the turn of events.

Prof Maclaran said: “I’m sure it was rather nerve-wracking for Harry as he must have been wondering how he would be received by his relatives as well as worrying about his security and potential publicity around his visit.

“There are bound to be future events where they cross paths but there don’t seem to have been any signs at all of any reconciliation.”

Being brothers, William and Harry will see each other at future family events, like weddings and funerals.

Prof Maclaran talks about one way they can handle the overlap, saying: “They are likely to get used to avoiding each other at such occasions I imagine.”

According to Prof Maclaran, the brothers will “learn to adapt their behaviors to each other accordingly,” but it’s not just them, there are other people in the room that can probably feel the tension in the air.

Prof Maclaran advises Harry to keep doing what he’s doing, arriving to the UK in an “understated way.”

She gives him a lot of credit for being “discreet” and hopes to see more of that.

King Charles looked in good form as he enjoyed the Braemar Games today, the second since he ascended the throne.

The monarch, 75, appeared to be in high spirits as he donned a traditional kilt and sporran to watch the event that was rarely missed by the late Queen.

The King represented the Royal Family alongside his wife Queen Camilla – who returned to Scotland specially for the event following a busy work schedule in England this week.

The Braemar Gathering is one of the most famous of the Highland Games.

The event was a particular favourite of the late monarch who rarely missed the spectacle which takes place in September each year near Balmoral Castle, Aberdeenshire.

The late Queen was regularly pictured enjoying the event alongside the then Prince Charles and other members of the Royal Family.

King Charles was regularly spotted at the event alongside his mother, with the Royal Family currently seeing out the end of their summer holidays at Balmoral Castle.

Her Majesty returned to work this week as she threw herself into a number of royal engagements while the King remained in Scotland.

On Tuesday, Camilla visited Bath to open a new cancer centre. The Queen then headed to Wiltshire to open the new headquarters of Stonegate Farmers, a new state-of-the-art facility where free-range and organic eggs are packed.

The Queen returned to royal duties on Thursday when she made her first visit to the English National Ballet since becoming patron earlier this year.

Later that day, Camilla stepped out of her royal shoes and into her parenting pumps as she headed to the launch of her son Tom Parker-Bowles’ new book.

The Queen attended her final engagement of the week on Friday when she paid a visit to RAF Leeming to meet service personnel and their families to learn about the welfare support they are offered.

The King and Queen are expected to mark the second anniversary of the late Queen’s death tomorrow in quiet reflection and prayer at Crathie Kirk on the Balmoral estate.

A source close to the Royal Family has claimed that Queen Elizabeth II “saw through” Meghan Markle.

Queen Elizabeth II allegedly referred to Meghan Markle as “evil” during a Balmoral drinks reception weeks before her death in 2022.

A source close to the Royal Family has controversially claimed that the late Queen “saw through” Meghan, who officially joined the Royal Family in 2018.

The alleged comments came in a time that saw tensions rise between Meghan and Harry and the Firm, especially after the couple insinuated that someone in the family had subjected her to racism.

Speaking to the Spectator, the source claimed that “everybody’s eyebrows hit the ceiling” when the late Queen allegedly made the remark about Meghan.

The source added: “It was out of character for the Queen to use such a word as ‘evil’ to describe Meghan, but she saw straight through her. It was a startling sentence to hear from the most forgiving woman on earth.”

The source added: “At the drinks before the dinner, a small group were talking to the monarch and she explained that Harry meeting Meghan had become a complete catastrophe and described her as evil.

“By this point, we all knew the Queen’s health was in decline and she had months left, she seemed regretful about how things had panned out.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had stepped back from royal life and moved to the US in 2020. The pair had planned to pursue a number of media ventures and charity projects in an event dubbed Megxit.

After the Sandringham summit in 2020, where senior members of the Royal Family sat down to discuss Harry and Meghan Markle’s future, the late Queen made a sad statement in which she said that while Harry and Meghan Markle were no longer going to be working members of the family, they were still “valued members” of her personal family.

She wrote at the time: “Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family. My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family.

“Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family. Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives.

“It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK. These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.”

The Duke of Sussex has been living in California for years with his wife Meghan Markle and their two young children.

Prince Harry is reportedly living a happy life in California with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children, however locals say he rarely seems to leave the house.

According to the Daily Mail, insiders have said the Duke of Sussex lives an extremely quiet life, spending most of his time in his Montecito mansion.

Apart from the rare night out at nearby restaurants Lucky’s or Tre Lune with the Duchess of Sussex, and the daily school run with Archie, Harry is very rarely seen in the neighbourhood.

Insiders told The Daily Telegraph that the only time the prince is really seen is either when he is walking his Labrador alone on the beach or cycling by himself with security following him in a Range Rover.

He is believed to spend the rest of his time at home working with his wife, meditating and working out with his own personal trainer.

This is the opposite of Meghan, who is often seen going out for lunch with friends or browsing in the local markets.

One neighbour told The Telegraph: “They keep themselves to themselves. I haven’t seen Harry around much. Normally when you see him around here, he’s walking his Labrador on the beach or on his bicycle followed by his security in a Range Rover.”

Journalist Richard Mineards told the Telegraph that although he lives close to the couple, they are rarely seen outside the gates of their lavish home.

He said: ”The community is waiting for them – they’re gnashing at the bit. The cachet of a Duke and Duchess.

“It’s a very wealthy community, we have a lot of people giving a lot of money to our cultural organisations as well as charities, but we don’t see them.

“We have got a lot of very rich and very famous people here, and none of them have a security retinue like the Sussexes.”

Although Harry is said to be happy in California, rumours have been rife on whether the duke will return to the UK and back to royal life.

However, with tensions still running high with his brother Prince William, multiple sources have said it is highly unlikely the prince will return to the UK to live, and instead is likely to just pass through for fleeting visits.

This comes after Prince Harry himself said it was not safe to bring his wife and children back to the country, which he left in 2020 to live overseas.

Since 2022, Meghan Markle has not stepped foot in the UK, with Prince Harry only visiting by himself for engagements, to see his father, and most recently to attend a funeral.

The royal family has been rocked by yet another scandal, this time involving Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and her son Archie’s surrogate mother.

In a shocking turn of events, Lady Colin Campbell, a well-known royal commentator, has leaked what she claims to be Archie’s surrogate record on live television, sending Meghan into a fit of rage.

The incident, which occurred on Good Morning Britain, has escalated tensions between the Sussexes and the royal family, with public opinion sharply divided between privacy concerns and the right to know.

Meghan’s outrage was palpable, with her demanding immediate action from the palace and denouncing Lady Campbell as a liar.

Despite her demands, the palace has remained silent, exacerbating the situation. Harry shares Meghan’s frustration, viewing the leak as a serious breach of privacy.

Supporters argue that the Sussexes’ personal matters should be kept private, while others believe the public has a right to know, complicating the debate.

Katie Price blasts ‘cruel’ Loose Women stars as she fumes over Junior’s TV interview

Katie Price’s teenage son Junior shared with ex-husband Peter Andre appeared on Loose Women to promote his latest chart-topping tune called Only One

Katie Price slammed her former Loose Women co-stars after being snubbed from the popular ITV morning programme last Friday.

Her teenage son Junior, who Katie shares with ex-husband Peter Andre, appeared on the show to promote his single Only One. Katie had once been a regular panellist on the ITV daytime programme until 2018 before she quit for ‘personal reasons’.In his first solo TV interview, Junior 18, spoke at length about his whirlwind music career, following in the footsteps of his Mysterious Girl hitmaker dad. But the mum-of-five pointed out presenters failed to mention her once, despite her music career too. Famously singing her rendition of A Whole New World, as well as releasing several tracks herself, Katie hit out at hosts Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha, Judi Love and Jane Moore in a TikTok tirade, telling fans the stars “hate me”.

The former glamour model was telling her live viewers how she wasn’t mentioned at all in Junior’s interview, despite still being in his life. “Isn’t it weird I was in Big Brother with Nadia, I presented with all the other ones on Loose Women.” She explained: “Not one mention about his mum, not one mention about ‘is your mum proud of you? It was all Pete, Pete, Pete, Pete, Pete. He was obviously told not to talk about me. It is so cruel. But that’s what this industry is like!”

Later in Katie’s video, her daughter Princess, also shared with Peter, appears as Katie begins telling her about the ordeal, adding: “I had to just confess to everyone how on Loose Women they didn’t even mention me considering I worked with them. I said I am in his life I do see him and I do speak to him and we all do. But our whole family our left out of everything because they hate me.” Katie was a regular and popular panellist on Loose Women between 2015 and 2018.

Katie quit the show for “personal reasons” but has never disclosed her exact reasoning behind her departure in 2018. She has however told fans she would never appear on the show ever again as the programme makes her “feel sick”. It was during another recent TikTok live she explained: “No I’m not doing Loose Women. Been there done that.” Katie previously accused show bosses and producers of expecting her to “perform like a seal” for ITV daytime viewers.

Addressing her time on the show in 2021, she said: “I was doing Loose Women for two years. When I look back at that it makes me feel sick. Because those two years were bad. Bad, bad, mentally. Bad bad bad.” She told the podcast Changes With Annie Macmanus: “But I still went out there and put on a brave face. I look at it and think, ‘Oh my God’. I look at my eyes on it and think I look dead in my eyes. Because all the drama came out.”

Writing on Instagram, he wrote: “Can’t believe junior is going on Loose Woman on his own for the FIRST time today. His single ‘Only One’ is OUT NOW. Download on iTunes. Thank you so much for your support already everyone. Yeah a bit emotional…… but for a reason. So proud of you son for being you. ‘Only One’ out now.”

The release comes after mum Katie was forced to call the police after discovering a freaky fan’s bizarre plans to break into her Mucky Mansion. She feared for the safety of her five children after hearing threats from the sad stranger on TikTok. In a now-deleted clip, the barmy bloke told viewers he was “going to the Mucky Mansion”. He detailed his plans to enter Pricey’s property, including what he would do if confronted by the mum-of-five inside the sprawling Sussex home.

“Well, I’m going to a party near the Mucky Mansion and I’m going to break in through a hole in the fence and give Katie Price a copy of my book. So Katie Price, I’m coming for you,” the creep said, sparking Katie’s call for help. Sources say Katie took the threats “very seriously” after being forwarded the crazy clip, immediately grabbing her phone before she “called the police straight away”. An insider told The Sun: “She’s terrified and doesn’t want her kids put in danger.”

Inside Loose Women’s ‘feuds’ – from bullying accusations to wedding snubs

Loose Women is a place for debate and lively conversation, but sometimes things can get a little heated on the hit ITV show. Here are some of the panels biggest rows

Loose Women is a hot bed of different opinions and characters, and this very formula is why it has been been so successful and has stayed on our screens for so long.

The daytime show has been entertaining viewers since 1999, and in that time there have been a fair few arguments on the panel. There are rumours some of these disagreements have spilled out into real lives. From lively debates to bullying complaints and from messy resignations to wedding invite snubs, let’s take a look at some of the biggest feuds to come out of the ITV show.

Back in 2017 Loose Women panellist Andrea McLean got married to her partner, life coach Nick Feeney. Although many of the panel were invited to celebrate her wedding with her, Carol McGiffin was noticeably absent from the proceedings. Carol took to her Best Magazine column to highlight this, writing, “I’m ecstatic for them both, even though I wasn’t invited to the wedding. Andrea’s managed to squeeze in two weddings in less time than I’ve been engaged to Mark, which is a bit embarrassing, to say the least.”
Despite this, the pair showed there was no animosity between them when they discussed the situation before Andrea left the show in 2020.

    Saira Khan and production

Saira Khan was a regular on the hit show from 2015 until her exit in 2021, when she didn’t hold back. The star claimed that the show was toxic, and explained to The Mirror that the last straw was when she was asked to join adult site Only Fans. She said: “The straw that broke the camel’s back was when one of the young producers was sent running after me to ask whether I would be prepared to open an OnlyFans account.”

Saira also claimed she was asked to have a mould made of her vagina for a segment. The 53-year-old said, “The system is toxic. They do not have people who have the expertise to introduce wellbeing and mental health care. I love TV presenting, but I knew that for the sake of my mental health and my family, I just could not carry on in such toxic working conditions.”

Saira Khan spectacularly quit the show in 2021

Myleene Klass, Denise Welch and Janet Street Porter

Former Hear’Say Myleene Klass appeared on the Loose Women panel in 2014 and during this time Janet Street Porter lost her temper with the star, saying,”I’m happiest when I’m not sat next to you Myleene!” Following this the singer took to social media to vent: “I love Loose Women. It’s nice to be able to articulate and get things out there. But I feel it was getting a bit misogynistic, a bit post-menopausal or pre-menopausal and ranty. That’s not how women should be represented so it’s nice they’ve refreshed the panel and we can talk about politics, fashion designers and what else is going on in the week.” Denise Welch then chimed in to defend her show with a soon-deleted tweet which read, “Sadly ratings suggest most viewers don’t agree with you.”

    Carol McGiffin and production

Carol McGiffin was a regular on Loose Women, until she took a five-year break in 2013. However, the presenter then returned in 2018, before quitting earlier this year. Carol, 63, was known for her strong-minded and controversial views, which included accusing the World Health Organisation (WHO) of a “plot” during the coronavirus pandemic. Following her exit she told GB News presenter Dan Wootton that her opinions were the reason for her exit.

“I can say that over the last three years especially I’ve been…I wouldn’t say censored, but I have been restricted in what I could say. You know what my views are on these controversial matters, so to speak because I’ve been talking to you about them for the last three years on another station, which I got kicked off of by the way for having those views,” she said. “So everybody knows what my views are, and I think there’s absolutely no doubt there were people at ITV who didn’t like me having those views.”

Carol quit the show earlier this year due to her opinions not aligning with ITV’s

Coleen Nolan was accused of bullying on the hit show and as a result Ofcom received 7,000 complaints. This was due to the fact she had appeared on the 19th series of Celebrity Big Brother with outspoken How Clean is Your House? star Kim Woodburn, and the pair had a huge row. Kim then appeared on Loose Women in 2018 with the aim of the duo ironing out their differences which caused another bust up, resulting in Kim storming off, saying: “I wouldn’t want to sit and talk with lying trash. She’s a horrible person. You are trash, you’re a piece of filth!”

Media regulator Ofcom went on to dismiss the bullying claims and clear Loose Women of any breach, saying: “While there was some support for Ms Nolan, the majority of complainants said that the panel humiliated Ms Woodburn and caused her unnecessary distress.”
For Coleen the situation was also hard to manage, as she revealed on This Morning shortly after, “”It was genuinely shocking for all of us. None of us wanted that. I never want to see anyone in that much distress as she was in the end. It’s been the worst week of my life actually.”

Kaye Adams and Denise Welch had many arguments during the pandemic, with both taking different views on the imposed restrictions. One row that typified their clash of opinions happed in 2021 when Denise said, “I will no longer abide by rules that make absolutely no sense.” When Kaye offered a riposte, Denise then claimed “”Maybe there has to be a bit of anarchy.”
To this the Scottish presenter replied, “To be brutal, if I have got to listen to you or Professor Chris Whitty, I’m going to go with Professor Chris Whitty,” Kaye then snapped back. “Go with Chris Whitty and be in lockdown forever – it’s up to you!”

Loose Women star Judi Love shares her thoughts on Alison Hammond’s Bake Off debut

The Loose Women star has said that Alison took to her new presenting role like ‘a duck to water’ after she replaced Matt Lucas on the Channel 4 show

Judi Love has sung the praises of Alison Hammond following her debut co-presenting The Great British Bake Off. Alison took to screens alongside Noel Fielding as a new bunch of budding bakers took on a set of challenges.

The second episode of the new series is set to hit Channel 4 tomorrow (Tuesday, October 3) as the contestants battle it out over biscuits. They will each attempt to win the converted role of Star Baker – and maybe even a handshake from Paul Hollywood himself.

And one person who will be tuning in is Bake Off fan and Loose Women star, Judi Love. The 42-year-old is friends with Alison, and has praised her performance so far on the show.

She said that the This Morning presenter has taken to it “like a duck to water.” In her OK! column, Judi wrote: “It was a joy to see Alison Hammond taking to her new presenting position like a duck to water – she looked as though she was having the time of her life!”

Alison previously said that she got the ‘VIP treatment’ from Paul Hollywood when she stepped into the famous Bake Off tent for the first time. She made the claims during an appearance on BBC’s The One Show on Friday, September 29.

She explained to presenters Alex Jones and Roman Kemp: “So on the first day he asked ‘Do you want a lift to the hotel?’ so I said ‘Yeah, great’ and he’s got a really nice car – a little bit of a Lamborghini – and I’ve never been in one of them before.”

Noel said: “It was like Batman’s car wasn’t it?” Laughing, Alison continued: “It was like Batman’s car. I mean it was a struggle for me to get in first of all. I had to get myself into the car first, it’s like it’s on the floor. So unlady-like, my legs were wide open.

“I finally got in and I said ‘Where shall I put my bag? I’ve got my bag with me’ and he just got someone else to take it. So I got into the car, let’s just say I’m never going to do it again, it was the most frightening ride I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was so scary.”

Alison took over the presenting role from Little Britain star Matt Lucas after he quit over work conflicts. He previously shared on X, formerly Twitter: “Farewell Bake Off! It’s been a delicious experience and I can’t imagine a more fun way of spending my summers. But it’s become clear to me that I can’t present both Fantasy Football League and Bake Off alongside all my other projects. So, after three series and 51 episodes, I am cheerfully passing the baguette on to someone else.

“I would like to give my warmest thanks and gratitude to everyone at Love Productions and Channel 4 and to Noelipops, Paul, Dame Prue, the crew and, of course, the wonderful bakers for welcoming me into the tent. I wish whoever takes over the very best and I can’t wait to tune into the next series without already knowing who won!”

Ruth Langsford has shared her concerns she’s already showing dementia symptoms, after the Loose Women presenter lost her beloved father Dennis to the cruel disease over ten years ago

Ruth Langsford has revealed she’s worried about developing dementia, after losing her beloved father to the disease over ten years ago.

The Loose Women star’s dad Dennis passed away in 2012 at the age of 84, having first shown symptoms of Alzheimer’s’ in the 1990s. In his final years, the former army sergeant was cared for at home by his wife and Ruth’s mother, Joan. The TV star’s mum later developed dementia herself, and, now 91, is living in a care home.

In a recent interview on the How To Be 60 podcast, Ruth confessed that she too frets she’ll inherit the illness one day. The 61-year-old’s fear of dementia, which can be genetic, is so intense that she has even admitted she’s refused to do a test to see her chances of developing it.

“Whenever they say that you can do a test to see if you would be prone to getting Alzheimer’s, I don’t really want to do it, because there’s no cure at the moment,” she told host Kaye Adams. “If I could do that test and they said: ‘right, now you know, this is what you do to stop you getting it. You have to take this tablet, you have to do these exercises, you have to eat this or don’t eat that.’ But there’s nobody can tell you that, so I almost don’t want to know.

Ruth, who shares son Jack with husband and former co-presenter, Eamonn Holmes, went on to admit that she’s often concerned she may be already showing symptoms of dementia.

“But of course, every time I go: ‘where are my glasses?’ and they’re on my head, or: ‘where are my keys? and I have those blank moments where you suddenly forget someone’s name – somebody you know really well. You think: ‘oh my God,’ so of course I worry, with both parents. But I try not to think about it too much, because it’s too depressing.”

Ruth also recalled losing her sister to suicide and spoke about her painful experience of losing a parent to the disease back in 2013, calling the ordeal “horrible” and “strange.” “You’re grieving for them while they’re still alive. They are physically there but their spirit appears not to be. It’s like you’ve lost them… but there they are,” she wrote, referring to her father’s “long and slow” decline.

“Eventually we had to put him into care. It broke my heart. But sometimes it is not possible to keep a sufferer at home. Me and my sister had to persuade my mum to let him go into care, because being at home was making them both ill,” she admitted.

Loose Women star blasted by fans after slamming BA’s new uniform changes

Loose Women star Carol McGiffin has been slammed by fans after her comments on British Airways’ new uniform changes which allow male pilots and flight attendants to wear makeup and carry handbags

Carol McGiffin, the former Loose Women star, has faced criticism from fans following her remarks on British Airways’ decision to provide a non-binary uniform option for its employees.

The 63-year-old shared her views on Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster’s GB News show, discussing the airline’s new uniform policy. British Airways has eased its uniform regulations, offering a gender-neutral choice and permitting male pilots and flight attendants to wear makeup and carry handbags.

McGiffin criticised the decision on GB News, stating she didn’t want to see ‘a bloke wearing a skirt’. She elaborated: “Personally I want to see someone walking up and down the aisles looking professional, like a woman, I’m not saying she has to wear a skirt, but I don’t want to see a bloke walking up and down wearing a skirt.”

She further added: “I don’t know why but I am old-fashioned like that. I want to see air stewards and stewardesses looking very, very professional. These are the people you rely on when you are flying and for me, it is not a good idea.” She also claimed that the changes ‘hadn’t gone down well with the crew either’, except with those who identified as non-binary.

She concluded: “People are saying that what they should have done is designed a uniform for the men, a uniform for the women, and a uniform for the non-binary people who want to be whatever they want, but where does it end? Where does it end? How many uniforms do you need?”

Carol’s remarks sparked a wave of online backlash, with many fans expressing their disapproval. One individual commented: “Oh Carol…put all that hateful energy into something more productive,”

Another critic added: “Carol McGiffin is a hateful, old grifter. She knows the only way she can make money is to sink to the level of GB News and pick on marginalised people. Pure scum of the Earth!” A third person chimed in with: “Why are people so triggered by how people want to identify!? Live and let live! No-one wants to see Carol McGiffin spouting utter nonsense again but here we are.”

This controversy follows Carol’s departure from Loose Women, which she attributed to the show becoming ‘too woke’. She revealed that she had been asked to sign a contract that was “totally unjust and unworkable for me”.

In a conversation with Dan Wootton, she stated: “Well put it this way, reading all the comments from the article at the weekend there are a lot of people who think the programme has gone very, very woke.”

Carol then confessed: “Well, neither do I. The whole of mainstream media is very, very woke.”

“You just don’t have to keep forcing this stuff down peoples’ throats, it’s not just ITV, the BBC is probably worse actually and saying that, Channel 4 is probably the worst out of all of them. It’s not a place where I feel I fit in,” she concluded.

“And, even though, you should be having the debates and seeing a difference in opinion, in the typical woke ideals, you don’t really get it anymore, you’re not allowed to say it and if you do, you either get censored or you get cancelled as many people have learnt to their cost.”
