Big Brother is making a grand comeback tonight with a fresh series and a lineup of new faces, sparking rumours that TOWIE’s Joey Essex might be joining the fray.

The Essex heartthrob sent fans into overdrive as he popped up in the Big Brother promo, getting a VIP tour from Selling Sunset’s Chelsea Lazkani with a cheeky aim to ‘sell’ him on staying.

In the promotional clip, Chelsea swans into the luxe abode bragging about nabbing the ‘hottest property in town’, followed by Joey who gushes that it’s “beautiful, it’s really, really demure”. Although the reality TV favourites have had an early peek at the notorious house, they won’t actually feature on the show.

Social media was quickly buzzing with reactions from fans who claimed to have been relieved to hear that Joey won’t feature in this year’s regular folk edition, with comments pouring in. One fan posted: “This better not be true”, while another remarked: “I hope this is fake. He can’t go on Selling Sunset and claim to buy a $5 million house and then go on Love Island AND BB”.

David Beckham has allegedly cheated on his wife Victoria throughout their tempestuous 25-year marriage

— with one fling even finding him in bed with a model, according to a new book.

While British journalist Tom Bower’s tome, “The House of Beckham,” has little new to say about one of the world’s most famous couples,

it includes a list of the soccer star’s extracurricular affairs, which — when put all together for the first time — makes for shocking reading.

Bower paints a picture of a husband and wife bound together by bitter ambition, but who have been brought to the brink of divorce multiple times.

One source who knows the couple told Page Six of the book, which is out now in the UK and on June 25 in the US:

“There may not be anything we don’t know in this book, but having it all in one place is super damning. Victoria and David will have thought they left all of this behind.

“It’s a legacy you don’t want to have. It doesn’t matter how you dress it up, the maggots are out of the woodwork.”

David’s former personal assistant Rebecca Loos infamously claimed they had a fling back in 2004 — but also said she walked in on him in bed with Spanish model Esther Cañadas.

It allegedly happened when a screaming Victoria phoned Loos in a bid to track her husband down one night.

The athlete was at a party at his Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo’s villa, and it was 3 a.m. when Loos found him down in a bedroom.

Bower writes how Loos knocked and told him, “David, I have your wife on the phone.”

As he came to answer the call, Loos claims she saw Cañadas in the bed.

“I looked at him, very hurt,” she told a friend. “I thought I was the only one.”

David did not mention Loos by name in his 2023 Netflix documentary, only saying that that the era was a “difficult” time for his wife, adding, “Victoria is everything to me.”

Victoria, meanwhile, admitted “it was the hardest period for us, because it felt like the world was against us. And here’s the thing, we were against each other, if I’m being completely honest.”

Loos, now a 47-year-old married mom-of-two, spoke to the Daily Mail about the documentary, which has been a huge hit for Netflix.

“He can say whatever he likes, of course, and I understand he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim and he’s making me look like a liar, like I’ve made up these stories…” Loos said. “He is indirectly suggesting that I’m the one who has made Victoria suffer.”

Model Celina Laurie said she slept with David in Denmark in 2002, Bower writes.

Danielle Heath, a beauty salon owner, alleged she had an affair with David at the Beckhams’ Madrid home, which he has always denied.

The book starts at the Glastonbury music festival in 2017, where David, now 49, was said to be “smitten” with high society model and DJ Lady Mary Charteris as they partied in a secret club.

“He also attracted the attention of a glamorous Australian bikini model,” writes Bower.

However, David’s fun came to an abrupt end when Victoria flew in from New York, landing in a Somerset field by helicopter.

She was reportedly furious that her husband had not replied to her phone calls and had dispatched a search party to find him.

“Within seconds they were embroiled in a ferocious argument,” writes Bower. “There was no hassle until she landed.”

The couple’s son, Brooklyn — now 25 and the eldest of their four kids — was there that weekend and tried to play peacekeeper.

As the couple stood by the side of the stage to watch Ed Sheeran play, Victoria put her arm “protectively” over Beckham while Charteris stood nearby.

A year later, David, now 49, told Australian TV that marriage was “hard” and “complicated” — much to Victoria’s upset, according to the book.

Bower also writes that David and Hollywood actress Charlize Theron could not “take their eyes off each other” at a draw for the 2010 World Cup. “The body language between them is electric,” a delegate is said to have murmured.

When David was at his agent’s office in London, the book also claims, the former England player “always looked like he was evaluating each woman. Some longed for his attention. Others would later say he was rather creepy.”

As for Victoria, 50, the more unhappy she became, the more she resorted to surgery — she’s believed to have had five boob jobs, going up and down in size — Bower writes.

At one point, the book claims, Victoria complained that her breasts had become “wonky raspberries” pointing in “different directions.”

There have been moments of pure unhappiness in the Beckhams’ marriage, with plenty of serious chatter about divorce, according to the book.

Victoria was seen slapping David hard around the cheek after the pair made a united front for the cameras in the wake of the alleged Loos affair, yelling at him, “It’s my way or the highway.”

The former Spice Girl — who went by Posh Spice during her pop-star career —  once admitted to a London tabloid of the cheating speculation: “I actually physically beat him up. I punched him in the face.”

Bower claims the pair stayed together for “Brand Beckham” because they are worth more together than apart.

Their ambition has taken them from the UK to the US — where David played with the Los Angeles Galaxy from 2007 to 2012 — and back to the UK again.

The athlete is now the co-owner of the Inter Miami CF soccer team, while Victoria started her own fashion line in 2008 and later moved into beauty.

While her range has famously lost money over the years, the latest figures from Victoria Beckham Holdings show revenues increased 44% — to £58.8 million in 2022, versus £40.9 million in 2021.

Yet the Beckhams, known for their lavish lifestyle, are said to be both cheapskates.

According to the book, Rebecca Loos once told how David — said to be be fearful of having his image dented — refused to tip a waitress at Madrid’s Hard Rock Cafe, then sent her back with a wad of cash when the woman complained that she survived on tips and “expressed her anger that someone so famous and rich could be so mean.”

Victoria allegedly refused to tip on a £115 ($145 US) bill while dining with her mother-in-law and kids at a Pizza Express cafe in the UK.

And the couple reportedly served German Liebfraumilch wine that cost less than $4 US a bottle at a UNICEF charity gala held at their home.

On a trip to the Philippines for UNICEF, Bower writes, David asked to be reimbursed $6,685 ($8,449 US) for business-class seats — telling his colleagues, “There’s no way this should be costing me anything.”

And when the Beckhams joined Sir Elton John on his yacht, the superstar allegedly dubbed them the “Takeums” after they failed to tip his staff.

In May, the Sunday Times Rich list put the Beckhams’ net worth at £455 million ($575 million US), up from £425 million ($537 million US) in 2023.

This is mainly due to Lionel Messi signing with David’s Inter Miami, sending the club’s value to over $1 billion.

David also has a stake in Authentic Brands, the world’s largest sport and entertainment licensing company, which owns the fashion brands Reebok, Juicy Couture, Ted Baker and Hunter as well as the rights to the estate, name and image of celebrities including Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Muhammad Ali.

David and Victoria have also appeared in lucrative ad deals, including for Uber Eats during the Super Bowl in February.

As fans will know, on her 50th birthday, Victoria Beckham posted a video on her Instagram handle of her performing along with her Spice Girls members.

The legendary designer captioned this clip, “Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife.”

Following the band member’s surprise appearance on Victoria’s birthday, David told Jimmy Kimmel, “I didn’t expect them to all get up on stage.”

The father of four continued, “So my son, who plays the guitar and sings,

had a song and he sang ‘Mama’ and then all of a sudden all the girls got up,” and claimed to be the band’s “biggest fan.”

Now, during a recent chat with Ankur Jain, Brooklyn was asked about his performance at his mother’s birthday, reported Daily Mail.

“You filmed that video which went crazy viral with your mum. What was the story behind that?” Ankur asked the aspiring chef and photographer.

In response, Brooklyn branded the pop girl group “cool” and recalled, “Omg my mum’s birthday. So it was in London at this bar and the Spice Girls came along and they started performing.”

“And I just got my phone out and started filming and was like ‘This is so cool’. I haven’t seen them perform in so long so it was good fun,” he declared in conclusion.

The final episode of BBC medical drama Doctors will now air earlier than expected, the broadcaster has confirmed, as the soap prepares to bow out in style after 23 years on screen

After 23 years on our screens, BBC medical drama Doctors will finally come to it’s ultimate conclusion next month, with the network having confirmed the final transmission date for the last ever episode.

Although filming wrapped on the long running soap several months ago, up until this week, many fans had believed that the show would continue to run until the very end of the year, as show bosses had always indicated that the finale would air at Christmas. Yet in a surprising twist, the BBC have since revealed that the final episode is now just five weeks away, and the medics of Letherbridge will officially bow out for good on Thursday November 14.

The decision to end the show was first announced in October last year, when the BBC confirmed that with a heavy heart, several key factors had influenced the decision to bring the show to a close.

Speaking at the time, the network said: “We have taken the very difficult decision to bring daytime drama Doctors to an end after 23 years. With super inflation in drama production, the cost of the programme has increased significantly, and further investment is also now required to refurbish the site where the show is made, or to relocate it to another home.”

“With a flat licence-fee, the BBC’s funding challenges mean we have to make tough choices in order to deliver greater value to audiences. We remain fully committed to the West Midlands and all of the funding for Doctors will be reinvested into new programming in the region.

“We would like to thank all the Doctors cast and crew who have been involved in the show since 2000. We know the crucial role Doctors has played in nurturing talent, and we will work to develop new opportunities to support skills in scripted programming. The final episode will screen in December 2024 and we are working closely with BBC Studios to give it the finale it deserves.”

Doctors was primarily shot in Birmingham, with the final scenes filmed back in March. Throughout it’s two decade long run, the show traditionally aired on BBC One at lunchtime immediately after the news, although it did briefly enjoy a stint on prime time TV, when it moved to a 7pm slot on BBC Two for eight weeks in 2022.

Originally only 41 episodes of the series were commissioned when hit first began airing back in March 2000, but the show proved to be so popular with fans at home, the BBC ordered it as a continuing soap opera.

Doctors is the second medical drama to have been axed by the BBC in recent years, following the decision to scrap Holby City in 2022. Just like Doctors, it ran for 23 years before BBC bosses decided to make the difficult decision to end the series.

Victoria Beckham was pretty bold with David to begin with.

In a resurfaced excerpt from her book Learning To Fly, the former Spice Girls revealed how she took charge of her early dating days with the legendary footballer.

Victoria met with David after a 1997 Manchester United football match, and recalled in her book, “We looked at each other.

We both knew. I said, “Go on, give me your number then and I’ll call you.’ ‘No’, he said, quick as a flash. ‘You give me your number.’”

She then continued that as he was leaving, Victoria strictly warned him, saying, “I said.

‘I’m telling you, Mr David Beckham, if you don’t ring me, I’m going to kick you in the b******s next time I see you.’”

The text comes after David gushed about his wife in an interview with The Sun in which he revealed the exact moment he fell for Victoria, claiming that he knew she was the one before he even met her.

Ahead of the couple’s 25th wedding anniversary, the former England captain said, “I always said that once I met Victoria, I would always be with her. A couple of months before we met I was abroad with the England team. Gary Neville and I were in the hotel room and a Spice Girls video came on.”

David continued, “I think it was ‘Say You’ll Be There.’ I pointed at the screen and told him, ‘That’s the girl for me and I’m going to get her. It was her eyes, her face. She’s my idea of perfection.”

Obviously, it’s my wife’s body, but I’ve always wanted to have a bunch of kids around.” For her part, Nicola said last year, “Brooklyn really wants kids now, but I want to do a few more things in my career first.”

The couple currently split their time between their LA apartment and the Peltz family estate in Miami, and our source says that settling down and having a baby would hopefully give Brooklyn the direction he craves. “In some ways, Brooklyn feels a bit lost with his career and would love to be a stay-at-home dad,” we’re told. “Realistically, he could fit his work around looking after a baby, but it’s not the same for Nicola in the acting and directing world – she has to be on set every day.”

As heat has previously reported, David and Victoria are keen for some mini Peltz-Beckhams, saying, “Vic keeps joking to David that they’ll be the cool, fun grandparents, as Nicola’s mum Claudia is nearly 70 and her dad Nelson is in his eighties. She wants to be the most glam granny ever.”

And the source adds, “Obviously, David and Victoria are excited at the prospect of Brooklyn starting his own family, but equally, they have pointed out they were in a completely different phase of their lives when they had him.

Victoria later shared a gas video of a much younger Harper having a boogie in the back car to September by Earth, Wind & Fire- we can’t blame her, what a banger!

Romeo and Cruz, who take their big brother duties ever so seriously, have also paid tribute to their baby sister on her 13th birthday.

Cruz shared a sweet video and snap of himself and Harper from back in the day, wishing her a happy birthday and calling her a ‘special human’.

Meanwhile Romeo shared the sweetest snaps with his little sister, writing: ‘Happy 13th birthday Harps can’t believe you’re a teenager. Love you so much xx.’

Loose Women star Sunetra Sarker has previously opened up about her struggles with her appearance and accepting her heritage, recalling how she ‘wished she was white’ growing up.

Sunetra Sarker, known for her roles on ‘Brookside’ and ‘Casualty’, as well as being a panellist on Loose Women, has become an inspiration to many. “The premise was an Indian family making a short-cut curry who are all Scousers. In make-up, the guy who was going to be playing the dad was a white guy and they were putting brown make-up on him. Surely they could have found an Indian man? There’s something really wrong with that.”

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Lionel Messi wore a walking boot on his injured right ankle,

and watched Inter Miami regain first place in the MLS Eastern Conference with a 3-1 victory against Toronto FC on Wednesday night.

Messi sat alongside his wife and children during the match at Inter Miami’s Chase Stadium. He was ruled out of the Toronto match,

and won’t play in Inter Miami’s next match Saturday against Chicago as he continues to recover from his Copa America ankle injury.

Messi has a ligament injury, Inter Miami announced on Tuesday, after a full evaluation on the two-time Copa America and World Cup champion.

He will be evaluated on a weekly basis, Inter Miami coach Tatar Martino said after the match.

“The club’s medical report is out and the information is that regarding the times, it will surely be evaluated week by week,” Martino said of Messi.

“We are going to see just how his recovery is without taking any kind of risk.”

Messi suffered the injury during Argentina’s 1-0 win in the Copa America final on Sunday against Colombia at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

Messi did not travel with his Argentine teammates back to Argentina to celebrate the Copa America title, staying home to begin his recovery.

A timeline for Messi’s return to injury is indefinite. Inter Miami said Messi’s future availability “will be determined by periodic assessments and the progress of his recovery.”
