Prince William Finally Speaks Out on King Charles and Queen Camilla’s Marriage Crisis

Prince William Finally Speaks Out on King Charles and Queen Camilla's Marriage Crisis
In a stunning revelation that has shaken the British public, Prince William has openly addressed the ongoing marital crisis between King Charles III and Queen Camilla. For months, rumors of tension between the royal couple have circulated, with many questioning the stability of their relationship. What was once mere speculation has now become an undeniable issue, as even the British media can no longer ignore the cracks that have appeared in the once-solid foundation of their marriage.

The royal family is no stranger to public scrutiny, but this latest crisis has hit particularly close to home for Prince William. Reports have surfaced that Queen Camilla has been pressuring Catherine, the Princess of Wales, to resume her royal duties after a prolonged absence due to her battle with cancer. This push has not sat well with William, who is reportedly furious about the pressure placed on his wife at such a delicate time.

For months, tension between King Charles and Queen Camilla had been quietly simmering beneath the surface, shielded by the royal family’s reputation for maintaining a composed public front. **However, insiders have revealed that behind closed doors, the strain between the monarch and his queen consort has been growing. As rumors continued to spread across media outlets and social networks, it became clear that their marital discord was not just a passing phase, but a full-blown crisis that could no longer be hidden from the public eye.

Several sources have suggested that Queen Camilla’s behavior has played a key role in fueling the tension. According to royal insiders, Camilla has exerted considerable pressure on Princess Catherine to return to her royal responsibilities, despite the fact that Catherine is still recovering from her fight against cancer. The pressure Camilla has placed on Catherine has reportedly infuriated Prince William, who has been a steadfast supporter of his wife throughout her health struggles.

Having watched Catherine endure the rigors of cancer treatment, William has been protective of her recovery and was deeply disturbed by the idea of her being forced back into the spotlight prematurely. According to sources close to the royal family, William has made it clear that his priority is his wife’s well-being, and he will not tolerate anyone — not even the queen consort — pushing her beyond her limits. His anger at Camilla’s insistence on Catherine’s return to royal duties has only deepened the tensions within the family, with many believing it has further strained the relationship between William and Camilla.

It’s no secret that William’s relationship with Camilla has always been complex. While publicly supporting his father’s marriage to Camilla, there have been long-standing rumors that William has struggled to fully accept her in his mother’s place. This latest conflict seems to have brought those underlying tensions to the forefront.

King Charles and Queen Camilla have been married for nearly two decades, but recent events have put their relationship to the test like never before. Public appearances by the couple have become increasingly strained, with observers noting a distinct lack of warmth and affection between them. For months, royal events have passed without the familiar displays of affection that once characterized their relationship. The subtle gestures that once communicated their bond — holding hands, shared smiles — have vanished, replaced by a cold, distant demeanor.

The situation has now reached a point where the British media can no longer remain silent. Cartoons and commentary from various outlets have openly questioned the future of Charles and Camilla’s marriage, and there is growing speculation that the couple may be on the verge of separation. While the royal family has always maintained a stiff upper lip in the face of adversity, the cracks in Charles and Camilla’s relationship are becoming harder to conceal.

Watch Meghan SLAM a Kid! You Won’t Believe What Stephen Colbert Did Next!

Step into the world of royal drama and celebrity antics, where the unexpected is just part of the package.

Recently, the US Open, a premier tennis championship celebrated worldwide, took center stage not only for the thrilling matches but also for a jaw-dropping incident involving Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.

While the tournament was filled with elite athletes and Hollywood stars showcasing their latest fashion, it was what happened off the court that truly stole the spotlight.

A Shocking Encounter at the US Open: Meghan Markle Slaps a Child

Step into the world of royal drama and celebrity antics, where the unexpected is just part of the package.

Recently, the US Open, a premier tennis championship celebrated worldwide, took center stage not only for the thrilling matches but also for a jaw-dropping incident involving Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex.

While the tournament was filled with elite athletes and Hollywood stars showcasing their latest fashion, it was what happened off the court that truly stole the spotlight.

Picture this: Meghan Markle strides into the venue with an air of confidence, as if the arena were her own personal playground.

Given her celebrity status, one might say it almost feels that way.

However, the atmosphere shifted dramatically when a young fan, no older than ten, approached her eagerly for a high-five.

Instead of the expected warm gesture, Meghan responded in a shocking manner—she slapped the child across the face.

    Yes, you read that right.

This moment transformed from a sweet encounter to a bewildering spectacle in the blink of an eye.

Now, I’ve seen my fair share of bizarre moments in the realm of fame and politics, but this one takes the cake.

From celebrities breaking down on live TV to outlandish statements from politicians, nothing could compare to witnessing a royal figure strike a child.

It’s as if the usual excitement of the US Open, even its famed concession stands, paled in comparison to this unexpected turn of events.

But wait, there’s more to this story.

Among the audience, taking in the scene, was none other than Stephen Colbert, the reigning king of late-night television.

Known for his sharp wit and humorous critiques of public figures, Colbert has seen it all.

Yet, even he seemed taken aback by Meghan’s outrageous act.

Instead of chuckling at the absurdity, he stood up and shouted, “Remove her at once!

    Summon security!” Can you imagine?

The comedian known for his biting humor suddenly morphing into a guardian of decency.

This scenario is reminiscent of a school principal stepping in during a cafeteria food fight—both comical and unsettling.

Here we have Meghan Markle, who has often spoken about the struggles of her public life, now caught in a moment where she physically assaulted a child who simply sought an autograph.

Meanwhile, Colbert, a man whose career thrives on poking fun at authority, felt compelled to intervene.

It’s a perplexing juxtaposition of roles.

Let’s take a moment to digest the absurdity of it all.

A child, likely just wanting to share a moment with a celebrity, ended up on the receiving end of an unwarranted slap.

    What message does that send?

This isn’t just an odd occurrence in the celebrity sphere; it highlights a deeper issue.

We must confront the reality that a child experienced physical violence at the hands of someone who is supposed to be a role model.

If a stranger had done the same on the street, there would be outrage.

Society would demand accountability, and rightly so.

Yet, here we are, discussing an incident involving a member of the royal family, and it raises serious questions about behavior and consequences.

The implications of such actions cannot be overlooked.

Meghan Markle’s slap is not merely a momentary lapse in judgment; it signifies a troubling trend in how public figures interact with their fans.

When a celebrity resorts to violence, it reflects poorly not just on them, but on the culture surrounding fame itself.

As this story continues to unfold, it serves as a reminder of the responsibility that comes with celebrity status.

It’s essential to hold individuals accountable, regardless of their position or title.

The late Princess Diana and Prince Charles — who became King Charles III in September 2022 — were married on July 29, 1981, at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London

Diana’s sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale (née Spencer), introduced the former couple in 1977. They began dating three years later after meeting once again.

Charles and Diana were married not long after. However, according to Diana’s astrologist Penny Thornton, the wedding almost didn’t happen. Thornton shared in ITV’s 2020 documentary The Diana Interview: Revenge of a Princess, claiming Diana revealed that Charles told his fiancée the night before the wedding that “he didn’t love her.”

Diana and Charles ultimately went through with the wedding. Per royal biographer Ingrid Seward’s 2023 book My Mother and I, it may have been Diana’s father, Earl Spencer, who changed her mind about calling off the wedding.

From altered dresses and wedding day jitters, here are eight secrets from the historic royal wedding that kicked off a 15-year tumultuous marriage before the pair divorced in 1996 — a year before Diana’s tragic car accident in 1997.

Designer Elizabeth Emanuel recalled that the young bride-to-be morphed as the weeks elapsed before her wedding to then-Prince Charles, losing a notable amount of the weight she had when she first walked in.

“Most brides do lose weight,” Emanuel previously told PEOPLE. “So we weren’t that worried when she did. She ended up with a 23-inch waist from a 26- to 27-inch.”

Years later, Diana spoke publicly about her struggle with bulimia during the time of her wedding.

“The bulimia started the week after we got engaged (and would take nearly a decade to overcome),” Diana said in Andrew Morton’s book, Diana: Her True Story — in Her Own Words.

“My husband [Prince Charles] put his hand on my waistline and said: ‘Oh, a bit chubby here, aren’t we?’ and that triggered off something in me. And the Camilla thing,” she said, referencing Charles’ relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles.

“I didn’t like myself; I was ashamed I couldn’t cope with the pressures,” Diana continued. “I had bulimia for a number of years, and that’s like a secret disease. It’s a repetitive pattern which is very destructive. It was my escape mechanism.”

Diana walked down the aisle of St. Paul’s Cathedral wearing one of her favorite scents: Quelques Fleurs. However, according to her makeup artist, it almost wore her.

Barbara Daly famously revealed that the young princess, then 20 years old, accidentally spilled some perfume on her dress as she tried to put some on her wrists after getting dressed in the world-famous bridal gown.

Daly said she told Diana to simply hold that spot on her dress as she was walking to make it seem like she was lifting the front of her dress so she didn’t step on it. Diana was even spotted trying to cover the spot where the perfume spilled with her hand as she approached the altar.

Diana knew her dress’ 25-foot-long train was difficult to handle and let her young bridesmaids know it. Charles’ goddaughter, India Hicks, recounted the details when she and Diana’s niece Sarah Armstrong-Jones were in charge of guiding the gown down the aisle.

Hicks revealed to Harper’s Bazaar in 2018 that as Diana entered the cathedral, she told the girls, “Do your best.”

Hicks wrote, “We knew what that meant: If we pulled too much, straightening the material, her tiara and veil would slip. But if we didn’t pull enough, the effect of the train would be lost.”

Diana had two wedding bouquets — because of the Queen

Florist David Longman told Express in 2018 that after Queen Elizabeth lost the flowers during her own wedding, she started the tradition of having two identical bouquets made to prevent a similar mishap.

“We made two bouquets. The first one had to be delivered at 8 o’clock to Buckingham Palace. We had a police escort motorcyclist who took us all through the city to the Palace,” said Longman about Diana and Charles’ wedding. “Then we came back, and by that time, they had finished the second bouquet, and back we went again.”

There were some wedding day jitters

Nerves got the best of Diana while she was saying her vows. She accidentally referred to her groom as “Philip Charles” rather than “Charles Philip.”

(To be fair, his full name is Prince Charles Philip Arthur George. With so many names to remember, anyone would slip up!)

The dress featured a secret charm

Although it wasn’t visible in photographs, there was a hidden good luck charm in Diana’s dress: an 18-carat gold horseshoe trinket studded with white diamonds.

“[The dress] was the fulfillment of her princess fantasy,” wrote biographer Tina Brown, per Vanity Fair. “She was insistent in her demand for its puffy sleeves and floating silk, its twenty-five-foot taffeta train, its nipped waist, and its antique lace embroidered with pearls and sequins.”

In case of poor weather, Diana’s dress designer made a parasol featuring the same lace as the dress and hand-embroidered pearls and sequins.

However, the skies were clear for the big day.

“It was probably a good thing. It was made of such light material that it certainly wasn’t waterproof,” Emanuel told the Daily Mail in 2017. “It wouldn’t have done her much good!”

    Camilla was in attendance

Despite Charles and Camilla’s dating history, she still made the royal wedding’s guest list — likely due to her husband Andrew Parker Bowles’ role as the Commanding Officer of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.

According to the biography Prince Charles: The Passions and Paradoxes of an Improbable Life, Charles felt pressured into his marriage to Diana and was still torn about his love for the then-married Camilla — and even cried over it the night before his nuptials.

Charles and Camilla infamously had an affair during their respective marriages. They went public with their rekindled relationship after Diana’s death 1997.

The couple married in April 2005, and Camilla received the title of Duchess of Cornwall. After Queen Elizabeth died on Sept. 8, 2022, Charles became King Charles and bestowed the title of Queen Consort upon Camilla.

Victoria has since lifted the lid on her marriage to England legend David for a new Disney+ documentary.

In a new docuseries In Vogue: The 90s, she revealed how her husband David bought a brand new Prada suit just to ‘impress her’ on their first date after she said she liked the brand.

Gushing about her love for designer clothes, Victoria recalled: ‘Versace, Prada, and Gucci, they were my go-to designers. What was it they were getting right at the time? I suppose they really understood the power of celebrity.

‘The Italians embraced that. When I first met David in 1997 he’d heard that I was the Spice Girl that liked the designer clothes.’

Victoria told the camera: ‘So, after me going to a couple of football matches and I would say, you know, me sort of like, pursuing him, he’d probably say me stalking him, we arranged to go out on a date together.

‘He’s like, “I don’t know what to wear, she’s the one who likes designer clothes,” and so he actually went out and bought himself a full Prada look for our first date, to impress me.’

David Beckham reveals why he did NOT enjoy making his award-winning Netflix documentary

David Beckham has admitted he did not enjoy making his critically-acclaimed Netflix documentary.

The four-part docuseries titled ‘Beckham’ aired last year on Netflix and looked back on his glittering football career and highly-publicised relationship with former Spice Girl, Victoria.

It proved a hit with fans and critics alike, leading to it triumphing in the Documentary or Nonfiction Series category at the Emmy Awards earlier this month.

But Beckham has revealed that he had to get out of his comfort zone to go through with the successful project.

‘It was one of those things I knew if I was gonna make it, I was going make it once… it was really difficult,’ he said, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.

‘It took me a long time to come to terms with the fact I was going to make it but there were a few reasons why we wanted to make it. Through the pandemic, that’s when documentaries really exploded.

‘It was coming up to the 10-year anniversary of my retirement and I thought: “Maybe this is the right time”.’

Beckham openly discussed some of his biggest moments on and off the pitch during the documentary as he reflected on his infamous red card against Argentina at the 1998 World Cup and being vilified by the public in the aftermath, while also addressing rumours that he was unfaithful to Victoria on multiple occasions since their marriage in 1999.

  • Meghan Markle may never return to UK with Prince Harry due to ‘safety fears’ and ‘Kate’s…’

Meghan Markle may never return to UK with Prince Harry due to ‘safety fears’ and ‘Kate’s…’

Prince Harry Says He’ll Never Bring Meghan Markle Back To The UK Prince Harry has no plans to return to his homeland. In the ITV documentary Tabloids on Trial, which aired on July 26 and explores several legal battles against U.K.

newspapers, the Duke of Sussex voiced safety concerns about bringing his wife Meghan Markle, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, back to Britain

“It’s still dangerous, and all it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads this stuff to act on what they have read,” he said in the doc.

“Whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is, and these are things that are of genuine concern for me. It’s one of the reasons why I won’t bring my wife back to this country.”

Harry announced in January 2020 that he and the Duchess of Sussex would be stepping back from their royal duties. In June of that year, the couple moved to California, where they currently reside with their two children.

After retreating from royal life, Harry and Meghan’s right to police security in the U.K. was removed by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures. In 2023, the Duke challenged the decision in court, offering to pay for police protection himself.

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex won't bring his wife Meghan Markle back to the U.K.

In a court statement at the time, Harry said he and Meghan “felt forced” to leave the U.K. due to safety concerns. His statement came after the former head of counterterrorism for the Metropolitan Police, Neil Basu, said the agency had found “disgusting and very real” threats to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In February 2024, Harry lost his case against the U.K. government, but is able to appeal the court’s decision about his family’s access to police protection.

    Harry’s Royal Rift

In the recent Tabloids on Trial doc, the Duke also spoke of his recent legal battles with British tabloids, which included taking a newspaper group to court over the alleged hacking of his phone.

Harry explained that his legal challenges have been a “central piece” in his rift with senior members of the royal family. However, he stands by his decision to call out the “torrent of abuse from the press.”

“It would be nice if we did it as a family,” he said in the doc. “I believe that from a service standpoint and when you’re in a public role, that these are the things that we should be doing for the greater good.”

Meghan Markle Says Opening Up About Her Mental Health Was “Worth It”

Trigger warning: This piece contains references to suicidal thoughts.

Meghan Markle keeps getting candid about her mental health. On Aug. 4, the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry were interviewed on CBS Sunday Morning to talk about their latest project, The Parents Network, which aims to support parents whose children have been “affected by social media harms.”

During their sit-down, host Jane Pauley asked Meghan about her 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which she shared that she “didn’t want to be alive anymore” during her time as a working member of the royal family. While the duchess “wasn’t expecting” to be asked about the famed interview, Meghan said she stands by her decision to open up to Winfrey about her struggles with mental health and thoughts of suicide at the time.

“When you’ve been through any level of pain or trauma, I believe part of our healing journey, certainly part of mine, is being able to be really open about it,” she said, adding that she hasn’t “really scraped the surface” about her experiences in the British monarchy following her and Harry’s exit from the royal sphere in early 2020.

“I would never want someone else to not be believed,” Meghan continued. “If me voicing what I have overcome will save someone, or encourage someone in their life to really, genuinely check in on them, and not assume that the appearance is good so everything’s OK, then that’s worth it.”

Meghan Markle looked back on her and Prince Harry's Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021.

Following Harry and Meghan’s 2021 interview with Winfrey, which was watched by 17 million viewers in the United States alone, the royal family released a statement addressing the duchess’ comments about her mental health, among other revelations.

“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan,” a Buckingham Palace statement read. “While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.”

    Prince Harry Was “Devastated”

The Duke of Sussex previously spoke of his wife’s mental health struggles in the couple’s 2022 Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, revealing that he was “devastated” to learn she had been experiencing suicidal ideation.

“I never thought that it would get to that stage,” he said. “The fact that it got to that stage, I felt angry and ashamed. I didn’t deal with it particularly well. I dealt with it as ‘institutional Harry’ as opposed to ‘husband Harry.’ And what took over my feelings was my royal role.”

RF. “Oh my goodness, the shocking DNA results reveal that Archie bears an uncanny resemblance to Prince Harry as a child, clearing Meghan Markle of years of false accusations and shedding light on the truth behind the pregnancy rumors.”

In a recent and compelling development, Meghan Markle has shared new evidence affirming that her son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, is indeed the biological child of Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex unveiled a striking childhood photograph of Harry that remarkably resembles Archie, providing a visual testament to their genetic connection.

The photograph, taken from Harry’s early years, features a resemblance so uncanny that it has captured widespread attention.

In the image, young Harry’s features—his distinctive eyes and facial structure—mirror those of his son Archie, drawing a clear visual link between the two.Meghan tiết lộ khoảnh khắc kinh hoàng của con trai trước khi rời hoàng gia Anh -0

Meghan’s decision to release this photograph comes amid ongoing speculation and scrutiny surrounding the paternity of her children, making it a powerful statement of familial bonds.

In her announcement, Meghan expressed a mixture of relief and defiance, emphasizing that the similarities in the photograph speak volumes about the undeniable connection between Harry and Archie. “This image is a testament to the profound truth of our family,” Meghan said. “It’s not just about physical resemblance but also about the love and commitment we have for each other.”

The revelation has been met with a range of reactions from the public and media. For some, it provides a satisfying resolution to the rumors and doubts that have circulated. For others, it underscores the invasive nature of public scrutiny faced by the royal family.

This poignant moment highlights the personal struggles of the Sussex family as they navigate life in the spotlight. By presenting this photograph, Meghan and Harry not only reinforce their family’s bond but also challenge the narratives that seek to undermine their integrity.

As the photo of young Harry and Archie continues to circulate, it serves as a reminder of the deep, personal connections that define family, transcending public opinion and speculation.

Kate, 42, revealed last week that her treatment had ended and she would slowly return to royal duties.

In an intimate video of Kate, husband Prince William and their three children, the future queen – who was diagnosed with cancer in February – told how she was looking forward to returning to duties. Though she said: “My path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”

In the official Court Circular of engagements undertaken by working royals, an entry today reads: “The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle.”

Kensington Palace confirmed it is the first noted mention of Kate working since she was first hospitalised in January for abdominal surgery. The princess spent two weeks in hospital before being discharged to recover at home. Weeks later, doctors delivered a secondary diagnosis of cancer before she began a course of preventative chemotherapy. Kate was applauded last week for her statement, in which she spoke of her cancer journey being “complex, scary and unpredictable”.

The princess added: “With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.”

Kate also spoke of how her husband Prince William, 42, had been by her side and together they had come to “reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.”
She added: Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus.”

In her video, Kate added: “I am looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months.” In May, when a report was published by the business taskforce she helped set up to urge firms to prioritise early childhood, royal aides said the princess was “excited” by the developments.

The taskforce reported that the UK could reap around £45.5billion in economic benefits if firms put business plans in place to prioritise childhood by supporting parents with greater resources and flexibility in the workplace. At the time, courtiers said Kate was “kept informed” of developments.

Kate’s early years meeting included members of her Kensington Palace communications department as well as representatives from her early years team.

Royal sources said the princess would ease herself back into royal life by working from home as well as undertaking some engagements. She is expected to join members of the Royal Family at the Cenotaph in November for Remembrance Sunday.

The Princess of Wales was listed in the Court Circular last for attending Wimbledon in July when she watched the men’s final alongside her daughter Charlotte, nine and sister Pippa.

William meanwhile also undertook an engagement on Tuesday when he visited 22 Special Air Service Regiment (SAS) to meet individuals who have been deployed on recent operations.

Kensington Palace made no further comment.

The latest addition to the Prince of Wales’ staff has now been revealed, with new equerry Mike Reynolds taking over the role from Rob Dixon – while also boasting two key things in common with his new employer

Just weeks after Prince William set many royal watchers heart’s racing by sporting a rugged new look complete with beard, the heir to the throne has officially revealed the identity of his new equerry – and it appears he’s sporting the exact same look himself.

Sqn Ldr Mike Reynolds was revealed to be the newest addition to the Prince of Wales’ staff on Wednesday, when he took over the role from Cmdr Rob Dixon who was returning to the Royal Navy after four years in the position.

Sqn Ldr Reynolds, who is on secondment from the RAF, is a seasoned helicopter pilot just like his new royal boss, and much like the senior royal’s bold Summer look, also sports impressive facial hair, albeit a lot darker and bushier than his employer’s.

William, 42 first unveiled his beard back in August, much to the delight of many royal fans, when he appeared looking distinctly bristled in a video appearance praising Team GB’s efforts at the Paris Olympics. After a few weeks of remaining clean shaven following the clip, he later sported facial hair for a second time while in uniform last week, as the Prince attended RAF Cranwell.

In his new role, Mike (pictured on the right at a charity event) will serve as Prince William ’s royal equerry, a special kind of personal assistant to a member of the royal family that helps them with their official duties and day to day tasks, The Sun reports. Among the long list of duties, equerries will typically assist with events such as meeting guests at the palace’s entrance, helping with private affairs and even working behind the scenes to stay out of the spotlight while helping with the smooth running of every aspect of a royal family member’s life.

While the duties are certainly a far cry from those typically expected of an RAF pilot, the job isn’t for the faint hearted, and requires a significant commitment and day to day versatility to help with the seamless running of a jam packed schedule. Although the specific salary for the position remains a mystery, we do know that last year, the Ministry of Defence shelled out over £500,000 on the salaries of all the equerries currently employed by the royal family.

The latest addition to the royal staff comes after Prince William revealed last week that he would “love to fly again”, after stepping away from his role as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot, as well as an East Anglia Air Ambulance pilot to focus fully on his royal duties.

In addition, it appears his eldest son Prince George has also been bitten by the flying bug, as the plane mad youngster enjoyed his first flying lesson this Summer, just a stone’s throw from his home in Windsor.

The Waleses may have wished Prince Harry a happy 40th birthday but Prince William has no plans for any reconciliation, according to an insider.

The  Prince of Wales has “no interest” in beginning a “complicated reconciliation process” with his estranged brother, the Duke of Sussex, despite his birthday message to him on Sunday, an insider has claimed.

The two feuding brothers saw their relationship crumble following Prince Harry’s sensational exit from the Royal Family and move to the US in 2020.

Harry has made a series of explosive claims against his brother and their family through a string of interviews, including his and Meghan Markle’s Netflix show, Harry & Meghan, and his own bombshell memoir, Spare.

But following Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace’s online messages on the duke’s milestone birthday last Sunday, some royal watchers questioned whether the moves paved the way for peace talks between the two sides.

Kensington Palace’s message on social media site X read: “Wishing a Happy 40th Birthday to The Duke of Sussex!”

It included a tweet made earlier by Buckingham Palace which included a photograph of a smiling Harry and a caption: “Wishing the Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!”

However, a friend close to the Prince and Princess of Wales has come out and claimed that the heir to the throne still regards Harry’s claims as “unforgivable” and reaching out to him is not his top “priority”.

They told the Daily Beast: “The honest truth is that William has no interest right now in reaching out to Harry and Meghan.

“He regards what Harry said in his book as unforgivable and, understandably given Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, just wants to focus on his wife and family first and his job second.

“There isn’t space for a complicated reconciliation process with Harry. It’s not a priority.”

A palace insider suggested that because Kensington Palace’s message had not been initialled “W & C” meant that it had not been sent personally by the couple.

They said: “It was just a company thing. Happy birthday blah blah blah.”

The outlet reports that while it has not been confirmed whether the King contacted his son on his birthday, it is understood the Waleses did not reach out.
