Loose Women host Kaye Adams insisted the panelliss were cheering on This Morning after viewers described their ‘shady’ reaction to being beaten at the National Television Awards.

During the crossover between This Morning and Loose Women, Kaye congratulated hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on the win for Best Daytime.

She said: “Congratulations by the way, we were cheering for you!” before promising viewers a behind the scenes special in the midday show.

However, during the live televised event, the camera panned to the Loose Women panellists, including Kaye, and viewers thought the stars looked less than impressed as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield headed to the stage with their fellow presenters and crew.

Both shows were up for best daytime, which This Morning won last year as well and during the crossover a number of viewers remarked on the moment.

The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex both attended the funeral of their mother’s brother-in-law, Lord Robert Fellowes, it has been reported.

Harry flew from the US to join William at the service at St Mary’s Church in Snettisham, Norfolk, on Thursday, The Sun said.

The newspaper said that the brothers made a discreet appearance and sat apart at the back of the church.

‘The paperback was a part of the book deal he signed, but he is not contractually obliged to promote this edition. The reason it has taken longer than usual for the paperback to be published is that the more expensive hardback was still selling well.’
