Kate Middleton is expected to join royals at Remembrance Sunday Cenotaph service – as Prince William gives health update

The Princess of Wales is expected to attend Remembrance Sunday events this weekend after her husband Prince William said she was ‘doing really well’.

Kate is making a gradual return to public duties after completing a course of cancer treatment, with her last high-profile appearance at Trooping the Colour in June.

She has stayed home with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis this week while William is in Cape Town for his Earthshot Prize awards.

Now, Kate is hoping to join other senior members of the Royal family at the annual Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph in honour of the war dead this Sunday.

Kensington Palace is yet to confirm the Princess’s attendance at what is an important date in the royal calendar in London, but according to the Press Association she is expected to be present as it stands.

Queen Camilla too has pledged to be there after pulling out of the annual Field of Remembrance opening at Westminster Abbey tomorrow due to a chest infection.

Kate has also spoken with aides about staging her annual Christmas carol service in December, holding a meeting with her team at Windsor Castle on September 24.

Today, William gave an update on Kate during an interview before tonight’s awards, saying: ‘She’s doing really well thanks. And hopefully she is watching tonight.

‘So cheering me on. She’s been amazing this whole year. I know she will be really keen to see tonight be a success.’

He added that he hoped George, Charlotte and Louis be would watching along with Kate when the ceremony is screened online this evening on BBC iPlayer.

The Princess travelled to Merseyside four weeks ago with William to meet privately with bereaved families of the Southport stabbing victims before greeting emergency responders in front of the cameras.

That visit on October 10 was her first joint public appearance alongside her husband since her cancer treatment ended, marking a major milestone in her gradual journey back to public duties.

Kate delivered a bombshell video message in March revealing she was undergoing chemotherapy after post-operative tests following major abdominal surgery showed she had cancer.

Well-wishes flooded in from around the world and King Charles III – who has also had treatment for cancer following his own diagnosis – was said to be ‘so proud’ of his ‘beloved daughter-in-law’ for her courage in speaking out.

In June, Kate made a welcome brief return to the royal frontline at Trooping the Colour, after saying in an update that she has ‘good days and bad days’, but was ‘not out of the woods yet’.

Kate also presented the men’s trophy on a day out to Wimbledon with Princess Charlotte in July, which saw her given a standing ovation from the crowd.

The Princess announced she had finished her chemotherapy course in a heartfelt video in September, in which she spoke about her experience while footage played of the Waleses and their children enjoying time together outdoors.

She said she was entering ‘this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life’.

‘The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family,’ she said.

She added: ‘Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long.’

Then on September 17, Kate was listed in the official record of royal events for the first time since her cancer treatment ended.

She featured in the Court Circular after holding a meeting at Windsor Castle about an issue that aides in the past have described as her life’s work – the early years development of children.

As for Queen Camilla, Buckingham Palace announced yesterday that she had withdrawn from engagements this week due to being unwell with a chest infection and has withdrawn from her engagements this week.

Camilla, 77, who has not long returned from a busy official overseas tour to Australia and Samoa and a spa break in India, is understood to be resting at her Wiltshire home, Ray Mill.

The Queen is said to be sad and disappointed to miss the opening of the annual Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey this Thursday.

But she hopes to attend the annual Festival of Remembrance on Saturday evening at the Royal Albert Hall, and the national service at the Cenotaph on Sunday.

A documentary focusing on Camilla’s work raising awareness of domestic violence is airing next Monday.

The Queen was followed over the course of a year for the ITV1 and ITVX programme Her Majesty The Queen: Behind Closed Doors, and in it she vows to ‘keep trying’ to end domestic violence, describing it as a ‘heinous crime’.

Pie fortune heir admits killing his friend in Christmas Eve knife attack – but will face trial after denying murdering him

An heir to a £230m pie fortune today admitted to killing his former housemate on Christmas Eve in a horror knife attack, but will face trial after denying murder.

Dylan Thomas, 24, is accused of stabbing William Bush, 23, to death after he was found with multiple wounds to his neck and body.

Thomas, the grandson of pie and property tycoon Sir Stanley Thomas, admitted manslaughter over William’s death but denied murder.

Thomas spoke only to say his name and enter his pleas as he appeared at Cardiff Crown Court via video link from Ashworth High Secure Hospital.

But prosecutor Greg Bull KC said the pleas were not acceptable to the Crown and Thomas will stand trial next week.

Mr Bush, 23, was found dead on Christmas Eve close to a string of popular boutique shops and independent businesses when it was packed with last minute shoppers.

Following Mr Bush’s death police appealed for potential witnesses to come forward who may have been in the shopping or car park area behind Llandaff Cathedral in Cardiff at the time.

An inquest earlier heard officers from South Wales Police were called to their home in Llandaff, Cardiff, to reports of a stabbing.

Coroners’ officer Beverley Morgan told the hearing that on Christmas Eve last year police were contacted by members of the public who told them that there had been a ‘stabbing incident’.

Multiple officers arrived at the scene and immediately performed CPR after finding Mr Bush injured in Chapel Street car park next to the city’s landmark Llandaff Cathedral.

Paramedics arrived and Williams was taken two miles to the University Hospital of Wales. But he never recovered.

A post-mortem examination carried out by Dr Richard Jones at the University Hospital of Wales recorded a provisional cause of death as multiple stab wounds to the neck and trunk.

William’s family – English teacher father John, 61, mother Elizabeth, 63, sister Catrin and brother Alexander – have paid tribute to the keen rugby player and golfer.

The family, who live in Brecon, South Wales, said: ‘Our beloved Will was taken away from us in such a cruel and indescribable way.

‘Will was such a loyal, funny and caring son, brother and boyfriend.’

William, who was working as a surveyor with a commercial property firm, and Thomas had attended the private Christ College in Brecon.

The pair were regarded as best friends and moved into together in a terraced house jointly owned by Thomas’ grandparents and Welsh rugby great Sir Gareth Edwards.

Thomas, a computer programmer, is the grandson of Sir Stanley Thomas, 82, who was knighted in 2006 for his charity work and services to business.

His father, also called Stanley Thomas, started selling meat pies in Merthyr Tydfil in the Welsh Valleys.

The business, Peter’s Savoury Products, was sold for £75million in 1988.

His family also owned a fifth share of the TBI group, which owned several airports, including Cardiff.

Area coroner for south Wales central Patricia Morgan told the inquest opening on Tuesday that she could not set a date for a full inquest.

She told the hearing that ‘due to the ongoing investigation arising from this matter’ she needed to suspend the inquest until police inquiries are complete..

Nacho Figueras Unintentionally Reveals Truth Behind Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Separation Rumors

It’s the Truth: Nacho Figueras Accidentally Spills the Beans on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Separation Rumors

Amid solo appearances, are they really heading for divorce? Are Meghan and Harry on the brink of Splitsville?

Imagine a sunny day in California, where polo player Nacho Figueras, a close friend of Prince Harry, finds himself in the spotlight. During an interview, he drops a hint that sends fans into a frenzy. Could this hint suggest that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are parting ways? This kind of drama is exactly what royal watchers crave, and now, speculation is rampant. Fans are left wondering: is this merely media hype, or is there some truth behind the gossip? Let’s delve into what Nacho Figueras said and explore the ups and downs of Harry and Meghan’s relationship. At first glance, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s love story seemed like a fairy tale. The prince and the actress captured everyone’s attention, blending royalty with Hollywood glamour.

However, fairy tales often come with challenges, and this couple has faced them head-on. From their explosive interview with Oprah to their move to the United States, they have consistently made headlines. This section looks at their journey—the highs, the lows, and how fame and scrutiny have affected their relationship. Could the pressures they faced have led to the current separation rumors?

Not many people know that their love story began with a blind date. The chemistry was undeniable from the start, and Harry realized he had found someone special. It was love at first sight, a spark that seemed to defy all odds. But can a whirlwind romance survive under the intense media glare? What about Nacho Figueras’s hint? Did he inadvertently reveal that their fairy tale isn’t as perfect as it seems?

Did stepping back from royal duties spark a new dream or create new dilemmas for Harry and Meghan? Their decision, famously known as “Megxit,” shocked the world. Now, they are building their brand in the U.S., facing both opportunities and backlash. For Harry, California brought relief and freedom, but was Meghan’s Hollywood dream as perfect as they envisioned? Did their differing backgrounds create tension?

The move to California symbolized either an escape or a reinvention. Hollywood shines brightly but can also be harsh. Harry left his royal identity behind while Meghan returned to a world she was familiar with. Their projects, like Netflix documentaries, reflect their passions but come with their own set of challenges. This significant shift raises important questions: Did the intense exposure create cracks in their relationship? Is this the reason why separation rumors continue to circulate?

Now, let’s discuss the rumored accidental reveal. Nacho Figueras, a famous polo player and Harry’s friend, recently spoke about Harry’s solo appearances. People listened closely to his words. During a casual chat, Nacho mentioned Harry’s resilience and dedication, hinting at new adjustments in his life.

Some interpreted this as a simple comment about Harry’s post-royal journey, but royal watchers speculated it might signify a change in Harry and Meghan’s relationship. Was this a well-meaning comment twisted by the media, or was Nacho revealing a genuine shift?

Recent solo appearances by Meghan and Harry have intensified separation rumors. They used to be seen together at events, but now Meghan is attending glamorous galas alone while Harry is spotted at charity functions by himself. Why the shift? Are they simply busy, or is there something deeper at play?

Relationships evolve, and solo appearances don’t always indicate trouble, but given Harry and Meghan’s history of facing royal pressures, public criticisms, and personal sacrifices together, why the change? Are they just taking a breather, or is it a sign of a more complex shift in their marriage?

Love under the spotlight is challenging, and Harry and Meghan are acutely aware of this fact. Every move they make is analyzed. With projects like Archewell demanding their attention, is love alone enough to sustain them? Their story goes beyond romance; it encompasses purpose, resilience, and finding identity beyond royal titles. Balancing personal and professional pressures raises significant questions: Can love survive relentless scrutiny and differing ambitions? Their narrative reflects a modern reality for many couples navigating dreams, careers, and growth under the world’s watchful gaze.

As rumors continue to swirl, Harry and Meghan persist in their work, seemingly unfazed. What’s next for them? Fans hope it’s merely a bump in the road rather than a sign of an impending split. Perhaps they’re adjusting and finding a new rhythm in their lives.

Harry and Meghan’s journey highlights their embrace of change. From royal life to Hollywood, they have not shied away from evolution. Their solo appearances may simply be part of their ongoing transformation. For now, only time will tell what lies ahead for them.

Did Nacho Figueras inadvertently reveal a royal secret? While it’s unlikely, his comments, along with the couple’s solo appearances, have sparked curiosity. Meghan and Harry are redefining what it means to be a royal couple, showing that love and commitment extend beyond fairy tales. As fans, we should respect their journey—relationships are complex, and theirs is no exception. Whether they stay together or part ways, their story is far from over; in fact, it’s just beginning.

Why are we so obsessed with royal relationships? The mystique surrounding Meghan and Harry captivates millions. Their struggles resonate with those who aspire to a fairy tale ending, revealing that wealth and status do not shield one from the challenges of love.

Prince Harry’s story carries significant weight for those who remember Princess Diana. His resilience in the face of overwhelming odds is noteworthy. His marriage to Meghan evokes memories of Diana’s strength and struggles, making their relationship deeply personal. Fans speculate whether history is repeating itself amid the separation rumors.

Megan entered a centuries-old institution upon marrying Harry, immediately facing intense media scrutiny. Every aspect of their lives is dissected, turning private disagreements into international headlines. Living under such scrutiny raises questions: Can any marriage withstand such pressure?

Megan’s recent solo appearances reflect her independence, but they also highlight the importance of mutual support in relationships. Her work and advocacy are vital parts of her identity, predating her marriage to Harry. These solo endeavors might actually strengthen their bond, showing a modern approach to partnership.

The family dynamics in Meghan and Harry’s marriage are intricate. Meghan’s strained relationship with her father, compounded by Harry’s ties to the British royal family, adds a layer of complexity. With public scrutiny surrounding both families, could the pressures contribute to the separation rumors?

As they become a brand, managing their public image can be stressful. Their work focuses on mental health and social justice, but public perception significantly impacts their projects. Balancing parenting, personal aspirations, and public life is no small feat, and it begs the question: does the pressure of their brand affect their relationship?

Angel Reese gives emotional verdict on Donald Trump’s election victory over Kamala Harris

Angel Reese admittedly ‘woke up speechless’ after Donald Trump‘s electoral victory over Kamala Harris on Tuesday night.

‘I’m so disappointed in America,’ the Chicago Sky star wrote on X. ‘Some of you just couldn’t selfishly put your pride aside huh??!?!?’

Reese’s particular issues with Trump were not explained in her posts, other than to hint she disagrees with the President-Elect’s hand in restricting reproductive rights during his first term in the Oval Office. Trump nominated conservative Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett between 2017 and 2020, leading to the 2022 Dobbs ruling, which gave states the power to regulate abortions.

‘As a woman, i’m heartbroken for us all,’ the 22-year-old wrote online.

Reese ended her posting on Tuesday morning on a more positive note.

‘God is the best author and the best finisher,’ she wrote. ‘I’m just going to pray on this & think positive.’

The WNBA is coming off a wildly successful 2024 season, but it wasn’t long ago that the league was known more for its ‘unrelenting activism,’ as Harper’s Bazaar put it, than actual basketball. Reese’s rivalry with Caitlin Clark, as well as the exciting WNBA Finals between the Las Vegas Aces and champion New York Liberty, helped to change that over the summer.

But, with Trump’s return to the White House and America now headed in a more conservative direction, WNBA players could once again embrace protest.

In 2020, particularly, players rallied around the Black Lives Matter movement and took a stance against Atlanta Dream co-owner and Republican senator Kelly Loeffler, who has since sold her share of the team and lost a re-election campaign.

‘I adamantly oppose the Black Lives Matter political movement, which has advocated for the defunding of police, called for the removal of Jesus from churches and the disruption of the nuclear family structure, harbored anti-Semitic views, and promoted violence and destruction across the country,’ Loeffler wrote in 2020.

Dream players arrived at the team’s next game wearing shirts reading ‘Vote Warnock.’

Perhaps as a result, Reverend Raphael Warnock enjoyed a meteoric rise in popularity before pulling out an upset in the special election.

Meghan Markle Faces New Wave of Criticism Amid Ongoing Struggles to Establish Lasting Success

Tina Brown’s Critique Leaves Meghan Markle Reeling

Recently, Tina Brown, the former editor of Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, and The Tatler, who was also a friend of the late Princess Diana, made some strong statements about Meghan Markle.

These remarks have reportedly left Meghan distraught, highlighting the unique weight Brown’s words carry due to her high standing and experience in the media world. The issue for Meghan in this instance is that it’s not just another faceless critic or generalized media critique.

Instead, these comments come from a well-respected journalist with extensive knowledge of both the British royal family and the media industry. This kind of educated assessment leaves little room to paint the criticism as mere “bullying.”

Harry and Meghan have often framed their experiences as a battle against a vague “media beast” unfairly targeting them. But with Tina Brown’s input, they face a different type of critique, one grounded in her observations of their behaviors and choices.

Notably, there’s been no rebuttal from Harry or Meghan, likely because there’s little to dispute when the criticism is coming from someone so credible.

Brown’s statements reaffirm a sentiment held by many observers: that the couple has made poor choices that have left a lasting impact on their public perception.

For Meghan, particularly, Brown’s words likely feel like a strong public rejection that’s hard to refute. As a result, many members of the public may view Meghan’s missteps not as isolated events but as part of a consistent pattern. The Sussexes’ ongoing issues also stem from their own actions and decisions, which repeatedly appear tone-deaf and misjudged.

Over time, public sympathy for their struggles has dwindled as more people have begun to view them not as victims but as individuals often plagued by poor judgment.

Many people who have worked with or been around Harry and Meghan have shared less-than-favorable experiences.

From Spotify employees allegedly describing them as “grifters” lacking talent, to former staff from Archewell claiming Meghan was an unprofessional boss, stories from former colleagues paint a picture that isn’t easy to ignore.

Can Trump run again in 2028? The rules on the next election after he stormed to victory

Former president Donald Trump stormed to victory in the 2024 presidential election, securing another four years in the White House – but could he make it eight?

    In short, probably not.

The 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution, introduced 1951, prohibits presidents for running more than two total terms.

The rule states that ‘no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice’ and ‘no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of President more than once.’

Since Trump was 45th President of the United States from 2016 to 2020 and will soon be the 47th President from 2024, he will have maxed out the tenure by 2028.

However, the incoming leader has suggested that a third term isn’t completely off limits for him.

The 78-year-old mused about being a ‘three-term president’ during a National Rifle Association event in May.

To achieve this, he would need to overturn the 22nd Amendment – entailing an arduous political process that would be unlikely to succeed.

Trump would have to secure a two-thirds vote in both houses of Congress or a constitutional convention called by two-thirds of state legislatures to even propose a new amendment.

This would then require approval from three-quarters of state legislatures or state conventions.

The former president has also previously indicated that he would retire after 2028 rather than challenge the 22nd Amendment.

‘I wouldn’t be in favor of a challenge. Not for me. I wouldn’t be in favor of it at all,’ he told Time magazine in April this year.

‘I intend to serve four years and do a great job. And I want to bring our country back. I want to put it back on the right track.’

Supporters of Republican Party candidate Donald Trump celebrate as Republican candidate Donald Trump surpassed 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the 2024 US presidential election in New York, United States on November 06, 2024

Trump’s election victory on Wednesday makes him the first president in over 130 years – and only the second in history – to win a non-consecutive second term.

Only one other American president was re-elected after a gap of four years between terms.

That was Grover Cleveland, who served as the 22nd president after the 1884 election, and as the 24th president after the campaign of 1892.

Cleveland was governor of New York when he was tapped as the Democratic Party’s nominee for president in 1884.

He was known for pushing for a reduction of tariffs that had been put in place during the Civil War, though his second term was marred by economic depressions and industrial strikes.

The 78-year-old politician will also become the oldest president ever inaugurated, beating President Joe Biden‘s record by five months.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘going separate ways’ in one aspect of lives amid ‘hiatus’

A royal commentator has suggested Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “going their separate ways” in terms of their professional projects.

The Duke, aged 40, and his 43-year-old Duchess have been spotted going solo at various events, with Meghan gracing the LA Children’s Hospital Gala and a digital wellness event in Santa Barbara, while Harry has been globe-trotting to New York, London, and South Africa for his charitable work.On the Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, Royal expert Phil Dampier remarked: “I think Meghan is genuinely doing a lot of work in the background for this Netflix project and American Riviera Orchard.”

He added: “She probably wants a bit of a hiatus so that she can launch that. As for Harry, obviously he’s been back and forth with a few charities.”

He also noted: “They do seem to be going their separate ways. There’s no evidence that they’re splitting up at the moment personally.”

Meanwhile, Renae Smith, PR guru and head of Atticism, told Express.co.uk that the Sussexes’ choice to carve out individual paths could be advantageous in the long run but might fuel public gossip in the interim.

Smith said: “I think their decision to pursue individual brands could indeed work in their favour over the long term, although it’s bound to spark a fair amount of public speculation in the short term.

Discussing the Royal couple’s individual pursuits, she remarked: “From a PR perspective, this shift might allow each of them to create distinct brands that better reflect their different priorities and resonate more coherently with their individual audiences.”

Prince Harry, during his visit to Africa last month, had an emotional reunion with his old pal, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. Around a bonfire, he delivered a heartfelt speech about the impact of his charity Sentebale, which aids young people affected by or at risk of HIV.

Prince Harry expressed: “We’re hitting the targets, not just Sentebale but all of the departments are, and it’s making a massive difference, and it is this surge of energy and optimism and the voice of young people ranging from six to 25 – and the biggest difference of which really needs more work, is when people from the top start listening.”Meanwhile, Meghan Markle dazzled in a striking red gown at the LA Children’s Hospital Gala, rubbing shoulders with stars like Demi Lovato, Kaley Cuoco, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jimmy Kimmel, and Colin Hanks.

Following her appearance, the Sussex website updated with a message stating: “This weekend, Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex attended the biennial Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) Gala, an inspiring event dedicated to celebrating the exceptional services provided to children across LA.

“Invited as a special guest by CHLA’s president and CEO, Paul Viviano, The Duchess was proud to stand alongside esteemed guests in support of this vital cause.”

Melania Trump Takes a Jab at Meghan Markle for Paying Bloggers to Dub Her the ‘First Lady of Fashion’

Did you catch the latest buzz from Hollywood? It appears we have a fashion rivalry heating up between Melania Trump and Meghan Markle. Melania has claimed that Meghan is paying bloggers to label her the ‘First Lady of Fashion,’ and this feud is igniting conversations across the internet. But what lies beneath this clash of style icons, and why does it matter? Let’s dive into this tale of influence, image, and the powerful messages conveyed through fashion.Fashion has always been a competitive arena. From Coco Chanel to today’s style stars, icons have long vied for the spotlight. However, the rivalry between Meghan and Melania is particularly noteworthy. Both women possess impeccable taste, yet their public personas and styles diverge significantly. Meghan’s approach resonates with the public, while Melania leans towards the glamorous, high-fashion side.

Meghan Markle’s style is chic and relatable, characterized by her choice of sustainable brands that connect with fans globally. In contrast, Melania Trump exudes luxury and elegance, setting trends with her polished outfits. Is this rivalry more than a simple clash of aesthetics? It seems to reflect deeper issues surrounding public personas and the expectations placed on powerful women.

Every outfit worn by these women carries a message. Meghan’s selections often spotlight sustainable brands to highlight various causes, while Melania’s choices echo the sophistication of previous first ladies, reminiscent of figures like Jackie Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. Their styles are more than just clothing; they are statements about identity, values, and ambition.

In today’s world, the image is a crucial currency for public figures. Meghan, like many celebrities, skillfully uses digital tools to enhance her brand—whether through strategic endorsements or influential media coverage. A well-timed blog post or social media update can have a significant impact. But the question arises: does it matter if she’s curating her public image? Isn’t this a common practice among public figures, including Melania?

When Meghan steps out in an outfit that echoes the style of Jackie Kennedy, the media takes notice. From pillbox hats to tailored pantsuits, she often channels past first ladies, but is this a deliberate strategy or mere coincidence? Fashion experts suggest it might be a mix of both, where homage meets strategy. By aligning herself with iconic American figures, is Meghan attempting to carve out her own space as a contemporary style icon?

Ultimately, this supposed rivalry between Melania and Meghan reveals more about societal values than about the women themselves. As spectators, we’re drawn to their comparisons because they illuminate themes of image, influence, and power. Each woman embodies her unique vision of a fashion icon, and their different approaches to crafting their public identities offer valuable lessons.

Both Meghan and Melania recognize the importance of consistent branding. Whether it’s Meghan’s use of sustainable fashion or Melania’s preference for timeless luxury, each has carved out a distinct identity.

Neither woman is a stranger to critique, yet both have maintained a poised public presence. Navigating criticism—fair or not—with composure is a skill worth mastering.

Ultimately, both Meghan and Melania have stayed true to their authentic selves. As comparisons will persist, each knows her own style preferences and values.

So, who truly deserves the title of ‘First Lady of Fashion’? That’s for each of us to decide. Melania’s critique may reflect her frustration, or perhaps it’s simply a cheeky observation about the current landscape of celebrity image. Regardless, one thing remains clear: the way powerful women choose to present themselves is always under scrutiny.

Fashion for public figures is rarely just about clothing; it’s about influence, narrative, and sometimes, legacy. Next time you see Meghan or Melania in their meticulously curated outfits, remember: the power of style extends beyond fabric and thread—it’s about what they represent.
