Tragic Brit popstar Liam Payne lost his life after falling from his hotel room balcony on Wednesday, October 16.

The former X-Factor star suffered “serious injuries that were incompatible with life” after plunging from the third floor at the luxury Casa Sur Palermo hotel shortly after 5pm local time.

In an official statement given to The Associated Press, Argentinian police disclosed that the father-of-one had “jumped from the balcony of his room”, apparently dispelling any notions of an accidental fall or foul play.

As local cops probe the singer’s last 24 hours, police made the shocking announcement that his ex-girlfriend had been staying at the same hotel the week he died. Liam had been in Argentina for a holiday with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, which was scheduled for five days but ended up lasting two weeks, reports the Mirror.

The 25-year-old TikToker decided to fly home then, telling her followers: “I was so ready to leave. Love South America, but I hate staying in one place for too long and we were supposed to be there for five days, turned into two weeks and I was just like, ‘I need to go home’.”

It’s been claimed that Liam then had checked into the deluxe Casa Sur Hotel suite alone three days before he died. According to local news reports, he was asked to leave his previous hotel. Here, we look back at his final moments in Argentina before his sad death.

In 2010, Nicole Scherzinger supported One Direction through the X-Factor and to worldwide fame- and kept in touch with Liam Payne until the day he died. Regarding the fateful day, Andrew Lloyd Webber now told how Nicole is still texting the star.

Andrew, who composed the music for the Broadway musical Sunset Blvd., which stars Nicole, said: “I suppose something that hasn’t been said, and I suppose I could say, is that, of course, she mentored Liam, from One Direction.” Speaking to Billboard, he said: “On the Wednesday when he died, she was still texting him that day.” Andrew revealed that even after hearing of Liam’s death, she still turned out to perform as Norma Desmond in the Broadway production.

He praised: “The fact that she even did the show at all is extraordinary. I mean, she is an amazing, amazing woman. She is without any question one of the finest performers I’ve ever worked with.”

Nicole has since paid tribute to Liam, sharing a snap of the pair alongside Kelly Rowland while filming for their latest show. “Dear Liam, I will forever cherish and treasure the time we shared together, from fifteen years ago when One Direction was born, right up until just a few weeks ago. It was such a blessing to get to work with you recently. We shared the same love and passion for music and I will forever remember the meaningful and joyful conversations we had.”

The hotel manager who called emergency services before Liam fell to his death has claimed the singer’s “ex-partner” was also staying there. Speaking to an Argentinian TV programme, Esteban Grassi said: “He was seen alone, but his ex-partner was around.”

When asked, “So she was staying at the hotel too?” on the El Trece show Telenoche, he replied “Yes” before adding, “A floor above, yes.” A small clip of the programme featuring part of the interview has been shown online and also mentioned in other Argentinian media outlets.

It was unclear who Mr Grassi was referring to in his claim. He is understood to have been among three hotel workers prosecutors revealed they had questioned.

In the hours before the devastating incident, Liam spent time with Aldana Serrano, 31, and Lucila Goitea, 27, at the Casa Sur Hotel. The group arrived at the swanky hotel around 11:30 a.m. local time on Wednesday and headed to Liam’s suite.

But they left five hours later at 4pm – just one hour before Liam tragically fell from his balcony. During Liam’s final moments, he was said to be arguing over money with a mystery woman in the lobby of his hotel. He tragically fell 45ft, landing in the inner courtyard of the hotel.

Prosecutors confirmed they had questioned five people, including two women who had been with Liam in the hours before his death for a “reconstruction of his last hours”, she added: “He was with two women in his room where there was access to drugs. I’m not going to say their surnames.

A heartbreaking final photo shows Liam entering the Casa Sur Hotel in the upmarket Palermo district, where mere hours later, he would fall to his death from the third floor.

It’s believed the 31-year-old had been under the influence of drink or drugs, local media reports. In a desperate call made to emergency services, hotel staff requested ‘urgent’ support, with a receptionist telling the phone operator: “We have a guest who’s off his head on drugs and is destroying everything in his room. We need someone to come.”

After the line disconnected, the receptionist continued, “I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger. The room has a balcony, and we are afraid he might do something.” Just seconds later, the receptionist made the following heartbreaking clarification: “Just send an ambulance. Only an ambulance.”

Witnesses close to the hotel have claimed that Liam had endured a “psychotic episode” in the moments leading up to his death. An office worker who was close to the Casa Sur hotel claimed that the on-site masseuse said Liam was acting erratically.

Josefina, a One Direction fan, told América TV: “I was working in an office next to the hotel when we started hearing lots of sirens and lots of noise. A colleague went down to see what was happening and was able to speak to the hotel masseuse, who said there was a man being aggressive, breaking things, having what appeared to be a psychotic episode, and looking like he was out of it on drugs.”

Residents staying in the hotel have described hearing “loud” and “violent” noises coming from Liam’s room in the hour before his death. Speaking to the BBC shortly after the shocking incident, fellow hotel guest Doug Jones said: “I thought they were working on the room. There was a lot of noise, like heavy lifting, like banging, a lot of loud, violent noises, I thought.”

He added: “I saw hotel people going in and out of that room, so I thought they were doing work on the room.” However the loud noises returned, “So about 4pm, 4.30pm, I started hearing some more noise, I was still doing work,” he said. “I heard a really loud, violent scream around 4.45pm, 5pm.”

The police arrived just before 5pm, but reported hearing a loud bang from the courtyard as they arrive, at 5.04pm. A short while later, the tourist saw the “road full of cops,” as the full tragedy on Wednesday evening began to unfold.

A search of Liam’s hotel room uncovered “what appeared to be narcotics, alcohol, destroyed objects and furniture”, according to detectives. Photos purporting to show inside the room where Liam spent his final hours have been confirmed by news outlets, including La Nacion and Clarin.

“Kate Cassidy, Liam Payne’s Girlfriend, Cried and Shared” I’ve Been Trying to Stop This from Happening for So Long but Today He Walked Away

In a deeply emotional and heartbreaking confession, Kate Cassidy, the girlfriend of former One Direction star Liam Payne, shared her devastation following his tragic death. Cassidy, who had been by Liam’s side during some of his toughest times, revealed the emotional struggle she had endured as she tried to help Liam in the lead up to his untimely death.

Through tears, Kate opened up about the weight she has been carrying, trying to protect and support Liam through his darkest times. In a raw and honest statement, she shared: “I’ve been trying to stop this from happening for so long, but today it slipped away.” Her words have left fans and loved ones deeply moved, shedding light on the hardships the couple faced behind closed doors.

Kate’s confession has added a layer of poignancy to the already tragic news of Liam Payne’s death. As fans around the world mourn the loss of the beloved singer, Cassidy’s words have revealed the invisible battles Liam was fighting in his personal life. Despite the fame, success and adoration he garnered from millions of fans around the world, it’s clear that Liam was struggling with challenges that even those closest to him were unable to prevent.

According to sources close to the couple, Kate had been heavily involved in trying to help Liam overcome his emotional issues. The pair had reportedly grown closer in recent months and Kate had offered unwavering support as Liam navigated his personal and professional life. But despite her best efforts, the heartbreaking outcome was something neither she nor anyone else could prevent.

“She loved him so much,” said a friend of Kate’s. “She was always there for him and did everything she could to keep him safe. But sometimes, as much as you love someone, you can’t save them from themselves.”

Liam Payne’s fans have expressed their grief and sympathy for Kate and Liam’s family during this difficult time. Messages of support have flooded social media, with fans offering their condolences and sharing memories of how Liam’s music and spirit touched their lives.

One fan tweeted: “My heart goes out to Kate Cassidy and Liam Payne’s family. It’s heartbreaking to know how much they tried to help him. Rest in peace Liam.” Another posted: “Kate’s words are so sad. They just show how much she cared for him. We have lost an amazing person too soon.”

Kate Cassidy’s emotional revelation has sparked further discussion about mental health and the unseen battles that many people face, especially those in the public eye. The pressures of fame, combined with personal challenges, can be overwhelming, and Liam’s story is a tragic reminder of how important it is to reach out for help.

In the wake of Liam’s death, those closest to him, including Kate, have asked for privacy as they process the immense loss. The Payne family released a brief statement, saying, “We are heartbroken beyond words. Liam was a bright light in our lives, and we will forever miss him. “We ask for privacy as we navigate this incredibly difficult time.”

As the world continues to mourn the loss of Liam Payne, the words of Kate Cassidy will undoubtedly stay with those who loved and admired him. Her confession of having tried so hard to protect him from his struggles serves as a powerful reminder of the complexities of mental health and the importance of supporting those in need.

Liam Payne’s legacy as a talented musician and beloved public figure will live on, but his passing is a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the hidden challenges many faces behind closed doors

Princess Diana would be furious Harry left William to pursue her legacy alone, expert says

Prince William is set to appear on screen on Wednesday and Thursday this week in a documentary about homelessness, a subject about which his late mother was passionate

Princess Diana would be angry with Harry for leaving Prince William to carry on her legacy alone, a royal expert claims.

Phil Dampier also believes the two warring brothers will never reconcile – despite William mentioning Harry by name for the first time in six years in a new documentary set to air tonight.

The Prince of Wales, 42, features in the ITV programme, called Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, which concludes on Thursday. In it, he hears stories from those in need as he tackles homelessness, something about which Diana was also passionate.

But Mr Dampier believes Diana would be furious Prince Harry has not followed the legacy with his brother. The journalist and author said: “She was determined to show them that not everybody lived in palaces, and not everybody was born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Diana let them sleep rough overnight when they were younger, to show them what it was actually like.

“It’s been seen by some as an olive branch to Harry because he’s mentioned him for the first time in six years in this documentary. I don’t see it that myself. I think the rift between them is still as wide as ever, unfortunately.

“They both could have done so much good for something which she was very anxious for them to to do and so I’m sure she’d be absolutely devastated.”

Homelessness was close to Diana’s heart, and she once took both her sons as young boys to a homeless shelter in London. William said he wanted to focus on the subject in the documentary because he said he has faced criticism about his privileged lifestyle and many residences.

It’s thought the Prince has not mentioned his brother’s name in public or in an interview since 2018, when the two, alongside the Princess of Wales and Meghan Markle, were interviewed at the Royal Foundation Forum, The Sun reports.

But though he name drops Harry in the programme, Mr Dampier believes royal fans shouldn’t get too excited by this. He added: “It’s just a rather sad indication of the fact that something which they could have worked together on, and something which they both experienced at a young age, they’re no longer doing. It’s just left William on his own, and Harry’s not joining in, so I don’t see this as an olive branch.”

‘Real’ reason Prince Harry and Meghan haven’t been seen together publicly in weeks

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s brand was branded ‘toxic’ by a PR expert, as the couple appear to take on a new approach.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new approach to promoting their projects separately is down to the fact that their Sussex brand has become “toxic” through the years, a PR expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a string of solo appearances this month in what has been seen as a new take on their “dynamic”.

Harry went on a solo tour to New York, London and Southern Africa to promote his own causes, while Meghan was seen attending events on her own which held special links to her projects.

Now PR expert Ed Coram James claimed that the Sussex couple’s brands are stronger as individuals rather than as a couple after their joint ventures turned out to be “toxic and thus commercially untenable”.

He told GB News: “Since their marriage, Harry and Meghan have had a distinct brand. That brand is based on a duo.

“Call it ‘Harry and Meghan’, call it ‘the Sussexes’, call it whatever you like. The fact is that for years they have become synonymous with one another.

“And, since the famous Oprah interview, in which they took a simmering disagreement between themselves and the rest of the Royal Family and essentially declared all-out-war, that brand has been steadily becoming more toxic and thus commercially untenable to the point where not that many major brands are going to be rushing to write them a large cheque based on their brand value.

“When combined, the Sussexes brand is, from a PR perspective, toxic. But, when separate, they have a genuine chance of creating an entirely separate brand, with completely different labels.”

Meanwhile, Sky News Australia senior reporter Caroline Marcus agreed and said Harry and Meghan’s initial strategy of jointly speaking against the royals made the public perceive them negatively, which is a scenario that is unlikely to change any time soon.

She said: “The contrast [between Harry and Meghan’s ventures and the King and Queen’s latest royal tour] is so stark because that sense of duty the King and Queen have compared to these two pretenders who couldn’t even master enough enthusiasm for the Royal Family, the traditions that Harry was lucky enough to be born into and Meghan to be married into, it’s just put off so many people”.

However, the latest shift in the couple’s business strategy was dubbed as a “twin-track approach” by one of their friends, according to People.

An insider echoed the statement and told the publication: “The Duke and Duchess have now hit their stride as individuals – not just as a couple. The Duke appears focused on his patronage work, and the Duchess focused on her entrepreneurial track.”

It comes after it was revealed last year that Princess Diana’s iconic ‘revenge dress’ is set to go up for auction early this year.

Worn by Diana on the same evening that the then-Prince of Wales admitted adultery on national television in June 1994, the custom-made replica of the black, off-the-shoulder dress by London-based designer Christina Stamboulian is likely to fetch between £,8,000 and £12,000.

Left Bank Pictures, the production company behind the historical drama, is selling the objects at Bonhams in February.

Taking place in London on Wednesday, February 7, the sale will come after the sixth and final series of the popular Netflix show has aired.

The first half of the sixth series of The Crown, covering the period from Diana’s death in 1997 up until the marriage of Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005, was released on Thursday, while the second part will follow on December 14.

And now, some might even say they’re flirting on Instagram in new comments, after David made a tongue in cheek remark on Ryan’s latest post.

The actor was telling his 36.9million followers about the 100 bottles of his Aviation Gin that he had recently signed.

“I signed 100 bottles of @AviationGin for the Liquor Control Board of Ontario,” he put in the caption.

“Weird name for a person but tbh if that were my name, I’d drink that much too. #LCBO.”

David commented on the post, “Wow that’s a sore wrist if ever I saw one 😂.”

Ryan then responded, “I’ve intensely trained my wrist since I was 15. Wait… what are we talking about?”

Can we get a ‘hell yeah’ for the lads lads lads?

This isn’t the first time David Beckham has communicated with a famous friend on Instagram recently. Back in June 2020, he wore a Friends t-shirt out on a walk with wife Victoria, and Matthew Perry posted about it.

The scene was from the episode The One Where No One’s Ready from season three, where Joey puts on all of Chandler’s clothes. Chandler aka Matthew Perry spotted the picture and re-posted it to his own account, alongside the caption, “This guy has really good taste. Whoever that is.”

It didn’t take long for Beckham to reply, commenting on the Perry’s post, “Yes @cruzbeckham got me the shirt but could I be wearing anymore clothes 😂”.

Christmas came early for Victoria Beckham and David Beckham this year!

In an Instagram post on Saturday, Victoria, 49, shared a carousel of photos featuring David, 48, and their children Cruz, 18, Brooklyn, 24, and Harper, 12.

Their son Romeo, 21, who plays soccer for Brentford F.C., was not present in the photo.

But Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, smiled in the photo alongside her mother-in-law and young sister-in-law.

In the family photo session, Nicola and Harper wore matching red buffalo plaid pajamas

and white tank tops while Brooklyn and David matched in a similar set of black pajama pants and white shirts.

Victoria and Cruz chose to stand out from the crowd. He wore an all-white outfit while his mom posed in the middle of the picture wearing a set of black and white silk pajamas.

Everyone donned a red and white Santa hat except Cruz, and Brooklyn and David held glasses of white wine.

“Santa came early in Miami!!! 🎄x I love u all so much xxxx @davidbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @cruzbeckham @nicolaannepeltzbeckham #harperseven we miss u @romeobeckham xx,” Victoria captioned the photos, set in front of a Christmas tree decorated with white lights and filled with presents underneath it.

In her Instagram Story on Saturday, Victoria shared a behind-the-scenes photo of David during the casual family photo session. “Keeping it real with the ice bucket,” she captioned a picture of David sitting in front of a table with white wine on it.

Most of the Beckhams are having quite the whirlwind holiday season together. On Thursday, Victoria shared a video of herself dancing on the beach in the Bahamas with her daughter-in-law on her Instagram Story.

“Love you @nicolaannepelrzbeckham,” she wrote on top of the clip, adding, “We hadn’t drunk much at all!” Nicola responded, “Love you!! 😂🩷,” when she shared the video on her own Instagram Story.

Nicola has also been sharing glimpses into the family vacation on her Instagram page. She recently posted pictures of the family having fun on the beach in the Bahamas.

Victoria Beckham tried to convince David Beckham to let her continue her diet despite the doctor’s advice to have a balanced diet (video)

Victoria Beckham has attempted to set the record straight about her diet after her husband David Beckham revealed she’d been eating “the same thing for the last 25 years”.

Earlier this year, the former footballer revealed that Victoria has “rarely deviated” from her favourite dish of grilled fish and steamed vegetables since he’s known her.

“I get quite emotional about food and wine, when I’m eating something great I want everyone to try it,” he told the River Cafe Table 4 podcast.

“Unfortunately I’m married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years.

Since I met Victoria, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables, she will very rarely deviate away from there.”

In a new interview with Vogue Australia via The Australian, Victoria jokingly accused her husband of making her sound “boring”,

insisting she was simply very “disciplined” when it comes to her diet.

“I mean, talk about making me sound boring!” she told the fashion magazine.

“No. What he meant is that he’s never met anyone who’s more disciplined with the way that they eat. I eats lots of healthy fat: fish, avocado, nuts, that sort of thing. I do drink alcohol, unless I have a reason not to. I’ll detox from anything for three to six months where I won’t drink.

“I’m quite extreme in anything I do, whether it’s eating or working out or drinking or not drinking.”

Posh also revealed her exercise routine, which involves regular pilates, runs for 30-minutes uphill on a treadmill, and “gruelling one-hour weights sessions”.

In the same interview, Victoria called out British TV and radio presenter Chris Evans for weighing her on live TV in the late nineties just two months after she’d given birth to her son, Brooklyn.

Recalling the moment, Victoria said: “I went on a TV show with Chris Evans many years ago and I’d just had Brooklyn and lost a lot of weight after.

“It happened to my mum after her pregnancies. It doesn’t mean you have an eating disorder. And he made me stand on the scales to be weighed.
