Kate Middleton and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The royal family drama continues as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle find themselves in yet another tumultuous situation.

This time, it involves Kate Middleton, whose recent public appearance has seemingly overshadowed the efforts of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The unexpected turn of events has left Meghan and Harry grappling with a public relations setback, even as they strive to deliver quality work and maintain their public image.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have often found themselves at the center of public and media scrutiny. Despite their efforts to carve out their own path and contribute meaningfully through initiatives like the Invictus Games, the couple faces constant backlash for their past controversial statements and actions.

This predicament has been described by royal commentators as a “lose-lose” situation for the Sussexes.

Recently, Prince Harry received severe backlash for accepting the Pat Tillman Award for Service. Critics labeled him “privileged” and “undeserving,” despite his significant contributions to the veteran community through the Invictus Games. GB News’ Digital Royal Editor, Svar Nanan-Sen, reported that sources close to Harry revealed he was stunned by the negative reaction to his nomination.

Royal commentator Cameron Walker echoed these sentiments, stating, “It’s a lose-lose situation for Harry at this point.

He’s created a lot of enemies or non-fans because of what’s happened over the last four years. Whatever he does, no matter how good he is doing with the Invictus Games or whatever prestigious awards he’s winning, there’s always going to be people at the moment who are going to chastise him for that and get very angry about that.”

In an effort to reclaim some positive attention, Meghan Markle has been busy working on a new project for Netflix. The Duchess of Sussex has reportedly wrapped up filming for her upcoming cooking show, which promises to cover topics ranging from cooking and gardening to entertaining and friendship.

According to an insider, Meghan was “totally in her element” while filming, demonstrating her skills in the kitchen and sharing tips on how to be the perfect hostess.

    Kate Middleton

The timing of this project is particularly noteworthy. Meghan’s upcoming show coincides with Kate Middleton’s recent headline-making appearance at the 2024 Wimbledon men’s singles final. Kate’s appearance has drawn significant media attention, largely overshadowing Meghan’s new venture.

Kate Middleton’s appearance at Wimbledon was nothing short of shocking. Despite battling cancer and undergoing preventative chemotherapy, the Duchess of Cambridge made a stunning public return. Her resilience and grace in the face of adversity have captivated the public, further solidifying her status as a beloved royal figure.

As reported by Life & Style, Meghan has been trying to seize the spotlight while Kate is away from the public eye. However, Kate’s recent appearance at Wimbledon has once again placed her in the limelight, making it difficult for Meghan to break through with her own news.

The public’s reaction to these developments has been mixed. On one hand, Meghan’s efforts to engage with her audience through her new show are commendable. On the other hand, Kate’s courageous public appearance amidst her health struggles has drawn widespread admiration and sympathy, making it challenging for Meghan to shift the focus back to her projects.

The ongoing saga of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the rest of the royal family continues to captivate the world. As the Sussexes strive to navigate their public image and contribute positively to society, they face an uphill battle against relentless scrutiny and comparison to their royal counterparts.

Kate Middleton’s recent appearance has undoubtedly overshadowed Meghan’s latest endeavors, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain determined to make their mark. As they push forward with their respective projects, only time will tell how the public will perceive and react to their efforts in the ever-evolving landscape of royal dynamics.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the Children

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s little princess, Lilibet, is celebrating her third birthday! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex marked this special milestone with an early pre-birthday bash over the weekend, held at their home in Montecito, California.

People reported the intimate celebration included close friends, family, and some of Lilibet’s young pals.

Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born in California after Prince Harry and Meghan stepped back from their royal duties and relocated to the U.S. with their son, Prince Archie, now 5, in 2020.

The birth announcement, shared on the Archewell Foundation website, revealed that Lilibet was named after Queen Elizabeth’s family nickname, while her middle name honors her beloved late grandmother, Princess Diana.

Affectionately called “Lili” by her parents, Prince Harry and Meghan have continued to use this endearing nickname for their daughter.

In March 2023, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex began using their children’s royal titles in public, starting with the announcement of Lilibet’s christening.

    Meghan and Prince Archie

Following King Charles’s ascension to the throne in September 2022, Archie and Lilibet were officially given the titles of prince and princess. Their new titles were promptly updated on the royal family’s official website and reflected in their parents’ biographies on sussex.com, launched in February.

In keeping with royal tradition, Harry and Meghan have adopted “Sussex” as the family surname for their children. This practice mirrors the historical use of titles by members of the royal family.

Last June, the family traveled to the U.K. for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee festivities, coinciding with Lilibet’s first birthday. The Sussexes celebrated with a gathering at Frogmore Cottage, their U.K. residence until last year.

During the birthday party, a spokesperson described the event as a “casual, intimate backyard picnic.”

The couple released the first portrait of Lili, taken by photographer and friend Misan Harriman. The adorable photo showed Lilibet smiling in a blue dress with a white bow in her red hair, a charming feature she shares with her brother Archie and dad Harry.

Fans got a further glimpse of the celebration in the docuseries Harry & Meghan, which premiered on Netflix in December 2022. Since stepping back from their royal roles, Harry and Meghan have kept their children’s lives relatively private. The world first saw Lilibet in the Sussexes’ 2021 holiday card, which joyfully announced, “This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa,’ and Lili made us a family.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the Children

Harry and Meghan have shared sweet details about Lilibet over the years, from her “very chilled” nature to her determination to “keep up” with her big brother. Archie turned 5 on May 6, and the Sussexes celebrated his birthday privately before embarking on an official trip to Nigeria. This journey marked their first international trip since stepping back from royal duties.

Though Archie and Lili didn’t join the tour, they were very much on their parents’ minds. While visiting a school in Abuja, Meghan revealed that “singing and dancing” is Lili’s “favorite class,” likely due to “all the jumping around.”

She also shared that Archie has a keen interest in construction, as shown by the children’s robotic projects in a STEM class.

    Meghan Markle with the Children

At a women’s leadership event on May 11, Meghan described her kids as “very chatty, sweet children” and expressed how much she was “missing my babies” on May 12, Mother’s Day in the U.S.

In his memoir, Spare, released in January 2023, Prince Harry recounted the moment he helped bring Lilibet into the world. He wrote: “I slid my hands under the tiny back and neck. Gently, but firmly, as I’d seen in films, I pulled our precious daughter from that world into this, and cradled her just a moment, trying to smile at her, to see her, but honestly, I couldn’t see anything. I wanted to say: Hello. I wanted to say: Where have you come from? I wanted to say: Is it better there? Is it peaceful? Are you frightened? Don’t be, don’t be, all will be well. I’ll keep you safe.”

A “furious” Meghan Markle reportedly wants to confront King Charles over his latest Highgrove launch seemingly overshadowing the Duchess’s own preserves, but Prince Harry is holding her back from a grizzly confrontation.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, was earlier this year ridiculed as “pretentious” for soft launching a line of strawberry jams as the first product in her new lifestyle brand American Riveria Orchard.

A source on Friday told New Idea her jam jars hand-numbered one through 50 have been overshadowed by the King’s latest product – organic Highgrove Royal Estate Honey.

The source said “as far as Meghan is concerned” it is “no coincidence” Charles’ authorisation for the release of his $50 honey coincided with the launch of her jam, and she is “furious” about it.

“She is trying to establish herself as a lifestyle mogul, but now she’s competing with a royal rival,” they said.

The source said the Duchess is “convinced” Charles also recently launched Highgrove Splash, a new men’s cologne, in a “deliberate attempt to curb her success” with a double offering.

    Furious Meghan Markle

“She had no idea [about this] and now suddenly, as she sees it, there’s a glut of his products on the market.

“She’s one step away from calling Charles about the clash but Prince Harry is holding her back.”

Meghan reportedly has long-term plans to rival her father-in-law’s successful brand and develop her own men’s grooming range.

    Prince Harry Struggle

According to trademark filings, she has also earmarked plans to sell a range of products include homewares, cooking utensils, make up and even pet food under her new brand.

Sky News presenter Gabriella Power on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Meghan, saying Charles’ product launches were not “actually about” her but “why not take it as an excuse to make it” so.

“Power to her for trying to get a brand up and running that isn’t about making money for rubbishing the royal family.”

    Scared King Charles

It comes as the King has long sold organic food industry since he created Duchy Originals 34 years ago in 1990,

And Meghan’s social media campaign in March allegedly boosted the sales of the monarch’s long standing products by accident.

In a major business blunder, the mother of two sent 50 of her jars to influencers and socialites in her celebrity studded circle including Fashion Designer Tracy Robbins, which deviated “great business” to the King’s venture.

Royal commentator Richard Eden said Meghan’s “publicity stunt” “encouraged royalists to purchase the King’s jam instead” and they all sold out.

“So many of them have done so that Highgrove Organic Strawberry Preserve was ‘sold out’, according to the retailer’s website yesterday, even though 340g jars cost £6.95 each,” he said.

According to royal insider Tom Quinn, Meghan “was in tears when the brand launched and her new jam was widely mocked for being expensive and nothing special.”

He said she “cannot understand” the public backlash from her ventures including tell-all interviews with Oprah Winfrey and a Netflix series

“(Meghan) cannot understand why people don’t admire her work,” he told the Mirror newspaper.

“She still seems to be finding the backlash hard as she reportedly feels constantly criticised and as if she is ‘unfairly’ picked on.”

The Duchess of Sussex has an approval rating of about 31 per cent among the British public, while Harry’s approval is currently even lower at just 23 per cent.

    Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The Royal family has been suggested to keep their distance from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The royal family has been advised to “sever all ties” with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to prevent more scandals. Since leaving the royal life in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been all but cut off from the company.

Thereafter, they have used rich, well-known ventures to launch many attacks on Harry’s estranged family. This comes shortly after reports which claim that Prince William has enforced a ‘ban’ on his estranged brother, Prince Harry, from returning to the Royal fold.

‘Prince William is the tough guy’
The royal commentator Dee Dee Dunleavy remarked that the royal family should stay away from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to avoid any chance of reconciliation and to strip the couple of all of their royal titles.

Dunleavy said, “There’s talk that William is the enforcer, the tough guy of the royal family. King Charles is a pushover, I think he’d take Harry back in a heartbeat.” She noticed that Prince William has taken over the role earlier played by Prince Phillip and he is the “tough guy”.

    Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The royal commentator further added, “I can see William’s point of view as well, he’s more protective of the upset that Harry caused while the Queen was in her dying weeks. That’s probably why William has such a strong feeling toward Harry, but I just can’t see [Prince Harry rejoining the family] happening”. She also stated that contact with the Sussexes “devalues their currency.”

According to Dunleavy, if Prince Harry and Meghan are “not previous royals” and “cannot keep bringing up that fact” then all of Meghan’s “little money-making scheme” is obviously worthless.

‘Prince Charles misses his darling boy’
Royal expert Hilary Fordwich earlier claimed that Prince William has enforced an ‘absolute ban’ on the return of Prince Harry to the royal family in any shape or form. She also informed that ever since Prince Harry’s book, Spare, was published, the Prince of Wales has been unwilling to talk to his brother. However, she believes that one member of the royal family who will ease up would be King Charles and Prince William will not be in a position to challenge the crown.

She said that King Charles “misses his darling boy” and would “love to see more of Prince Harry”. She further explained the stern attitude that Prince William has exhibited regarding Prince Harry, “However, to this day, after the release of ‘Spare’ and the Netflix serial, as well as with everything else Harry has said, done, and not done, it’s Prince William who adamantly refuses to even speak to his brother.”

Meghan Markle has made various comments about the Princess of Wales through the years and today, Express.co.uk takes a look at every single one of them.

Meghan Markle’s relationship with her sister-in-law, the Princess of Wales, has long been the subject of speculation and discussion through the years, but it’s been clear the bond between the two women is not as strong as it once was.

The first reports of a rift between the Duchess of Sussex and the future Queen emerged in 2019, with some claiming that Meghan made Princess Kate cry before her wedding to Prince Harry the year before. But two years later the claim was disputed by the duchess who said it was the other way around.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s row with the Prince and Princess of Wales intensified after the couple’s infamous Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021, a year after their sensational exit from the Royal Family and peaked after their highly controversial docuseries on Netflix, Harry & Meghan, during which the estranged couple made a series of bombshell claims about William and Kate.

    Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton

Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace have never commented on Harry and Meghan’s claims, in line with the monarchy’s “never complain, never explain” approach.

Here, Express.co.uk takes a look at all the times Meghan Markle has made comments about the Princess of Wales.

    2014 – The Tig
Meghan Markle’s earliest reference to the Princess of Wales was all the way back in 2014, just two years before she met future husband Prince Harry.

Writing on her now-defunct blog The Tig, Meghan spoke about interviewing Princess Alia Al-Senussi, who is a member of Libyan royalty and said: “Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power.”

She added: “Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate.”

    2017 – Engagement interview
The couple sat down with BBC journalist Mishal Husain in November 2017 after they announced their engagement and talked about Meghan’s introduction to the royal fold.

Harry said during the interview: “William was longing to meet her and so was Catherine.”

The duke added: “Catherine has been absolutely…” with Meghan finishing the sentence: “She’s been wonderful.”

Five years later, in 2022, in one episode of their Netflix docuseries Meghan said that the interview felt like an “orchestrated reality show”.

She said: “It was rehearsed. We did the thing out with the press, then we went right inside, took the coat off and did the interview. So it’s all in that same moment.”

The BBC and Ms Husain have hit back at Meghan’s claims, with the journalist saying at the time: “We know recollections may vary on this particular subject but my recollection is definitely very much, asked to do an interview, and do said interview.”

    2018 – Royal Foundation Forum
Harry and Meghan joined William and Kate in March 2018, just two months before their wedding for an event discussing the work of the Royal Foundation – a charity William and Harry founded, which later included Kate and Meghan, before the Sussex couple left it after their royal departure in 2020.

At the time, Meghan spoke about what it was like working with the three royals.

She said: “Thank goodness it’s such differing personalities and that everyone’s very communicative because that’s how you can really see bigger change,” she said.

“If everyone’s thinking the same way, how are you going to push the envelope? You know, how are you really going to break through in a different sort of mindset?

“Changing mindsets and all of that is part of this communication that we have constantly. So, I think it’s part of the reason we’ve had so much success with Heads Together and whatever we end up working on moving forward.”

    2021 – Oprah Winfrey interview
The Sussexes’ interview with US TV host Oprah Winfrey caused a media storm in March 2021, after the couple made a series of sensational claims about the royals as they talked about their split from the Firm and their life within it.

But one of the claims made by the duchess during the interview was about the bridesmaids’ row incident back in 2018, when reports at the time suggested Kate had made Meghan cry over Princess Charlotte’s dress for the wedding.

Meghan dismissed the claims and said the story happened the other way around – the future Queen had allegedly made her cry.

She said: “The narrative with Kate—which didn’t happen—was really, really difficult and…I think that’s when everything changed, really.”

The duchess added: “I don’t say that to be disparaging to anyone, because it was a really hard week of the wedding and she was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologised.

“And she brought me flowers and a note, apologising. And she did what I would do if I knew that I hurt someone, right, to just take accountability for it.”

She also said that she didn’t think it “fair to her to get into the details of that because she [Kate] apologised and I’ve forgiven her.”

Asked about whether photos of her and Kate at Wimbledon were true in representing how happy they were in real life, Meghan said: “I think everyone welcomed me…When you say, ‘Was it what it looked like?’ my understanding and my experience of the past four years is it’s nothing like what it looks like.”

The duchess also spoke about how the Palace was willing to protect Kate from negative stories in the media, whereas they were not willing to do the same for her.

She said: “I think so much of what I have seen play out is this idea of polarity, where if you love me, you don’t have to hate her. And if you love her, you don’t need to hate me.

“Kate was called ‘Waity Katie. While I imagine that was really hard, and I do, I can’t picture what that felt like, this is not the same. And if a member of this family will comfortably say ‘We’ve all had to deal with things that are rude,’ rude and racist are not the same.”

At the time, their claims sent shockwaves around the world, with Buckingham Palace making an exception and issuing a statement from the late Queen Elizabeth, which said: “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.

“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.

“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved family members.”

    2022 – Netflix docuseries
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s next bombshell came one year later, when the couple released their controversial docuseries in which they talk about their relationship, their family life and departure from the Firm.

Meghan did not mention Kate for the majority of the series, however, she did speak about the culture shock she experienced when meeting the royals – namely William and Kate.

The duchess said: “It’s so funny if I look back at it now because now I know so much and I’m so glad I didn’t then. Because I could just authentically be myself without so much preparedness.

“Even when Will and Kate came over and I met her for the first time, they came over for dinner and I was in ripped jeans and I was barefoot.

“It’s like I was a hugger, I’ve always been a hugger. I didn’t realise that that is really jarring for a lot of Brits.”

She added: “I guess I started to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside carried through to the inside…that there is a forward-facing way of being and then you close the door, and you go ‘Oh…ok we can relax now.’ But that formality carries over on both sides and that was surprising to me.”

    2024 – Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis
The Sussex couple had stayed silent regarding any further comments on the Prince and Princess of Wales, however, they made an exception earlier this year, after Princess Kate announced her shock cancer diagnosis in March.

Harry and Meghan quickly released a statement following Kate’s announcement.

It read: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”

    Prince William and Prince Harry

Prince Harry is in line to land a whopping £7million in just a few weeks.

The late Queen Mother, Harry’s great-grandmother, had an estimated fortune of £70million which she placed into a trust fund for her family.

The Duke of Sussex is in line to scoop a £7million share when he turns 40 on September 15, Australian magazine New Idea suggested, having cited The Times.

Along with substantial earnings from the Netflix deal he and Meghan Markle signed in September 2020, Harry and his brother William received a sizeable chunk of cash from the tax-exempt Duchy of Cornwall. The most recent estimate of Harry and Meghan’s combined net worth is around $60million (about £46million).

Harry is likely to receive a larger share of the generous bequest than his older brother, because of how finances are managed within the Royal Family.

    Prince William and Prince Harry

As next in line to the throne, William will benefit from the huge wealth of the Duchy of Cornwall, a private estate that pays for the public, charitable and private activities of the King’s heir. As a result, Harry is likely to pick up slightly more than half of the £14million earmarked for the brothers.

While that might seem an enviable sum, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are among the worst-off among their circle of friends.

George Clooney, currently touted as a potential US presidential candidate by some Democrats after Joe Biden’s shock withdrawal from the 2024 election, is almost 10 times richer than Harry Meghan. His net worth – shared with top lawyer wife Amal – is in the region of $560million.

Filmmaker Tyler Perry, named by some sources as Princess Lilibet’s godfather, lent Harry and Meghan a property valued at over $15million (£12million) when they first moved to California. His total net worth is estimated to be around $1.4billion.

Harry and Meghan’s neighbour Oprah Winfrey, who conducted the explosive 2021 “Megxit” interview in which the couple made racism allegations against a member of the Royal Family, is even wealthier.

The so-called “Queen of Media”, who was born to a poverty-stricken single mum in rural Mississippi, presides over a vast media empire worth billions. Her own personal fortune is estimated to be $2.8billion (£2.2billion).

Prince Andrew is bracing for “tough times” as King Charles has unexpectedly taken his first “punitive” actions against his wayward son: “He has caused me to lose $1.3 MILLION each year.

n a significant move that underscores the shifting dynamics within the British royal family, King Charles III has reportedly decided to cut off the £1.3 million annual allowance previously allocated to his brother, Prince Andrew.

This decision comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Prince Andrew’s public image and his association with scandals that have deeply tarnished the reputation of the monarchy.

Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, has faced a tumultuous few years, particularly in the wake of allegations regarding his ties to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was embroiled in numerous sex trafficking scandals.

These controversies have led to intense public scrutiny and have forced Andrew to step back from royal duties. His reputation has suffered irreparable damage, resulting in increasing isolation from royal activities and public engagements.

The decision to revoke Andrew’s financial support marks a notable shift in the royal family’s approach to managing its members, especially in terms of financial accountability and public perception. With King Charles ascending the throne, there is a clear indication of a desire to streamline the monarchy and distance it from any negative associations. The King’s determination to reinforce the monarchy’s standing is reflected in this decision, as he aims to focus on a more modern, accountable royal family that prioritizes public trust and integrity.

In light of this financial cut, Andrew’s future looks uncertain. The annual allowance has been a significant source of income for him, and losing it could have considerable implications for his lifestyle. Reports suggest that the Duke of York has already faced challenges in managing his finances, leading to an increasingly precarious situation regarding his personal wealth. As a member of the royal family, he has enjoyed a life of privilege, but this change may force him to reconsider his financial strategies and lifestyle choices.

The removal of the allowance also sends a broader message about the royal family’s commitment to addressing the challenges posed by scandal. By taking a firm stance against Andrew’s conduct and the repercussions of his actions, King Charles is attempting to establish a new precedent for how the monarchy will operate in the future. This move aligns with the King’s vision of a leaner royal family that is more in tune with public sentiment, signaling a shift away from the more traditional, often unquestioning support of royal members, regardless of their actions.

In the wake of this decision, questions have arisen regarding the future of Prince Andrew within the royal family and the wider implications for his relationships with other family members. The Duke of York has been increasingly distanced from royal events and public appearances, and this financial cut may further isolate him. The remaining members of the royal family have largely distanced themselves from the fallout of Andrew’s controversies, which could complicate his attempts to maintain connections within the family.

Moreover, this development has ignited discussions about the future of royal funding and how the monarchy will adapt to the changing expectations of the public. With heightened scrutiny on the royal family’s financial affairs, there may be increased calls for transparency and accountability regarding how funds are allocated and managed. The King’s decision to curtail Andrew’s allowance may reflect a broader trend towards reforming royal finances to align with contemporary societal values, ensuring that taxpayer money is spent wisely and ethically.

As King Charles III continues to navigate the complexities of his reign, this decisive action against Prince Andrew underscores a commitment to accountability and a desire to restore public faith in the monarchy. The ramifications of this decision are likely to be felt for some time, as it not only impacts Prince Andrew’s financial stability but also reshapes the royal family’s landscape in a post-Andrew world. The King’s leadership style is becoming increasingly evident, characterized by a willingness to take bold steps to redefine the monarchy’s role in modern society.

In summary, King Charles’s decision to cut off Prince Andrew’s £1.3 million allowance is a significant turning point for both the Duke of York and the royal family. It reflects an ongoing effort to distance the monarchy from scandal and reinforce its reputation amid changing public expectations. As this situation unfolds, it will be interesting to see how it affects Prince Andrew’s standing within the royal family and how the monarchy adapts to these new challenges in the years to come.

Prince Harry EXPOSES what Camilla did

Prince Harry’s recent struggles with family separation have taken a significant emotional toll, particularly in his relationship with his father, King Charles, and his stepmother, Queen Camilla. The tensions between Harry and the rest of the royal family, especially with Prince William, have long been documented, but recent revelations suggest that Queen Camilla may have played a larger role in the rift than previously understood.

According to reports, Harry has expressed deep dissatisfaction with how King Charles handled the situation regarding Camilla’s influence. Camilla, now Queen, has been accused of contributing to the strained relationship between Harry and William, keeping them apart, and even reportedly blocking Harry from attending family gatherings and events. Harry believes that these actions were deliberate attempts to marginalize him and deepen the division within the family. One source mentioned that Harry felt Camilla’s influence was a major factor in creating distance between him and his brother.

These family dynamics came to light in Harry’s memoir Spare, where he shared personal insights into his relationships and the tensions within the royal household. His claims about Camilla have deeply hurt her, leading to further complications in the family. For King Charles, this has placed him in a difficult position, as he has had to balance his loyalty to his son with his commitment to his wife. It has been reported that Charles is torn between the two, with Camilla’s grievances complicating any attempts to reconcile with Harry.

The breakdown in communication and trust with his father has left Harry feeling increasingly isolated. He reportedly feels that Charles’ failure to address Camilla’s actions was one of the key reasons for his decision to step back from royal duties and move to the United States. Despite occasional attempts to mend the relationship, including a warm phone call for Charles’ 75th birthday, the damage remains. The relationship between Harry and William, once close, is still fractured, with little chance of reconciliation unless fundamental issues are addressed.

The rift has caused significant strain not only on Harry’s personal life but also on his standing within the royal family. His absence from key events, as well as his estrangement from his brother and father, has been a source of ongoing public interest. Some speculate that Harry’s ongoing efforts to share his side of the story could be his way of attempting to regain control over his narrative, though it also risks deepening the divide with his family further.

Ultimately, Harry’s sense of betrayal and frustration with how the royal family, especially King Charles, has managed the situation with Camilla has fueled his departure. It remains uncertain whether there will be any meaningful reconciliation in the future, but the emotional wounds on both sides are clear. For Harry, the distance from his family continues to weigh heavily, particularly as the dynamics within the royal family evolve.

Amidst turmoil within the royal family, fans rally in support of Meghan Markle, proclaiming, “Meghan possesses all the qualities of a future queen.”

In a surprising revelation, Meghan Markle, alongside Prince Harry, made headlines in 2020 when they decided to step down from their roles within the working royal family. However, recent reports have shed light on a lesser-known incident involving Meghan’s past acting career.

According to the show’s creator, Aaron Korsh, Meghan Markle faced restrictions on using a particular British term during the final season of the hit TV series “Suits.” In an interview that has recently resurfaced, Korsh disclosed that the Duchess of Sussex was prohibited by the Palace from saying the word “poppyc***” on camera.

This directive reportedly dates back to before Meghan’s marriage to Prince Harry in 2018 when she was still portraying the character Rachel Zane in the legal drama series.

Korsh explained that the original script included a line where Meghan’s character, Rachel Zane, was supposed to mention the term “poppyc***” as a subtle reference to his own family’s communication habits. He elaborated, “My wife’s family, when they have a topic to discuss that might be sensitive, they use the word ‘poppyc***’.”

However, the Royal Family intervened and objected to Meghan saying the word, expressing concerns that it could be manipulated to sound like a more offensive term. Korsh recalled, “They didn’t want to put the word ‘poppyc***’ in her mouth. I presume because they didn’t want people cutting things together of her saying ‘ck.’ So, we had to change it to ‘bulls*.’”

The resurfacing of this revelation, particularly on social media platform TikTok, has sparked mixed reactions among royal fans. While some applaud the Palace’s caution, noting the potential for misinterpretation or manipulation of the footage, others argue that in the modern era, such restrictions may seem outdated.

  • Prince Harry’s pointed dig about military uniform after missing out on royal reunion

Prince Harry’s pointed dig about military uniform after missing out on royal reunion

Despite not being part of the royals’ Remembrance commemorations, Prince Harry still marked the sombre and reflective day.

Harry, who had a long military career and served on two tours of duty in Afghanistan, released a rare, heartfelt statement to mark Remembrance – and he said veterans should be appreciated, even when they don’t wear the uniform – a seeming pointed dig at the royals.

It came after he missed out on joining the rest of his royal relatives at the Cenotaph for the annual Remembrance Sunday ceremony. Since he and wife Meghan Markle dramatically quit their royal roles, they have not taken part in the ceremony since 2019.

Instead, he released a rare message marking Remembrance Day in the UK and Veterans Day in the US, where he paid tribute to veterans, reaffirming his “lifelong admiration and appreciation” for their “service and sacrifice”. But he also said: “As you continue to serve – making valued contributions to communities, colleagues, households and all those we love – my hope is that our communities will continue to serve your needs too. Your contributions do not stop because you no longer wear the uniform and the collective sense of appreciation for what you have done for your countries should not stop either.”

His comments come as Harry was banned from wearing a military uniform after he quit his royal roles and was forced to give up his military affiliations. At King Charles’ Coronation last year, he wore a morning suit.

He also wore a suit for his beloved grandmother the late Queen’s funeral in 2022 – despite calls for him to be allowed to wear military dress. However, one exception was made when Harry wore uniform during a vigil around his grandmother’s coffin in Westminster Hall.

However, it was later claimed Harry was “devastated” at having to remove the ‘ER’ symbol from the uniform even though Prince William was allowed to keep his. After the initials were not removed from William, a pal told The Sunday Times: “He [Harry] is heartbroken. To remove his grandmother’s initials feels very intentional.” Reports suggested Harry nearly decided to wear the morning suit anyway to avoid “humiliation”.

Despite not being among those laying wreaths at the Cenotaph on Sunday it has been revealed that Harry did leave his mark on the poignant day. That’s because he made sure a group of young children who were given the opportunity to take part in the Royal British Legion’s march past the Cenotaph were given a little treat.

Harry is an ambassador for the charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers, which supports bereaved children whose parents have died in military service. Some of the children supported by the charity took part in the march past and he made sure they all had sweets to enjoy.

Charity founder Nikki Scott explained: “He’s very much in contact. He sent the children sweets today as well. They all have sweets in their pockets from Prince Harry.” Harry’s gesture comes after he told bereaved military children he “understands, perhaps more than most” the weight of losing a parent at a young age.

Harry last took part in Remembrance Sunday in 2019. In 2020, he was said to be “saddened and disappointed” not to have had a wreath laid on his behalf at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday, a book has claimed.

When he stepped down as a working royal, Harry was stripped of his military posts, including his role as Captain General of the Royal Marines. It was reported at the time Harry’s wreath had been made but after his request was refused, it laid unused in a box at the Royal British Legion’s Kent HQ.
