King Charles Rejects Meghan Markle’s Bold Push for Kate and Camilla’s Role

King Charles Rejects Meghan Markle's Bold Push for Kate and Camilla's Role
A royal historian, Dr. Tessa Dunlaw, has come out suggesting that there’s some kind of “vacuum” in the royal family’s public image. Excuse me, but where exactly is this vacuum? Have we not seen Princess Catherine absolutely shining in every single role she takes on? Have we not witnessed Queen Camilla standing steadfastly by King Charles’s side through thick and thin?

What really gets under my skin is the suggestion that the royal family somehow needs Harry and Meghan’s “glamorous knack” and showbiz appeal. Are we living in the same universe here? These are the same people who threw the entire royal family under the bus with unfounded accusations during the Oprah interview, who’ve been trying to monetize their royal connections while simultaneously trashing the institution.

It’s not about Hollywood red carpets and Netflix deals. Real glamour is Princess Catherine visiting children’s hospitals with genuine care and compassion. It’s Queen Camilla tirelessly continuing her literacy campaigns without seeking the spotlight. It’s King Charles dedicating his life to environmental causes long before it became fashionable. That’s true royal glamour—not the manufactured, Hollywood version Meghan is trying to peddle.

And speaking of King Charles—let me tell you, his response to these ridiculous demands was absolutely spot-on. He basically told them to stay right where they are. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how, even while dealing with health challenges, King Charles still has the strength and wisdom to see through their manipulative games?

Remember how all of this started? Harry, once our beloved “spare,” seemed to have found his place in the royal family, supporting his country and his brother. Then along came the actress, with dollar signs in her eyes and dreams of being the next Princess Diana.

Now, let’s talk about their so-called “glamorous knack.” What exactly have they achieved since leaving the royal family? A bunch of failed Spotify deals, Netflix stockpiled with half-truths and manipulated narratives, and random appearances at events where they’re clearly not the main attraction anymore. Meanwhile, William and Catherine have been absolutely crushing it with their royal duties. William’s work on homelessness is a continuation of his mother’s legacy in the most genuine way possible. Catherine’s “Early Years” project is literally changing lives. But apparently, this isn’t glamorous enough. Give me a break.

And about this so-called “vacuum” the royal family needs to fill—let me tell you, the only vacuum I see is the one between Harry’s ears since he fell under Meghan’s spell. Our working royals—William, Catherine, King Charles, and Camilla—have been handling their duties with incredible grace, especially considering the health challenges they’ve faced. Their strength and dedication during these times show exactly what real royalty is all about.

It’s hard to ignore the timing of all this. While Princess Catherine is focusing on her health, and Queen Camilla is recovering from a chest infection, these two opportunists are trying to position themselves as some kind of solution to a problem that doesn’t exist. It’s like they’re circling like vultures, waiting for any perceived weakness they can exploit.

I’ve been covering the royal family for years, and I’ve never seen anything like this. The sheer calculating nature of it all is astounding. Think about it—every time there’s any kind of challenge within the royal family, there’s Harry and Meghan, ready to step in and “help.” It’s so transparent it’s almost laughable.

Now, let’s talk about this “showbiz gloss” and public good-doing they’re supposedly so good at. What exactly does this mean? Showing up at random events, making everything about them, and then disappearing back to their mansion? That’s not service; that’s self-service. The royal family doesn’t need showbiz gloss. They have something far more valuable: authenticity, dedication, and genuine service to the people.

Remember how Meghan couldn’t handle just six months of actual royal duties? She complained about having to do walkabouts and meet the public. And now, suddenly, she thinks she can take on Queen Camilla’s role? The same Queen Camilla who has been steadfastly supporting the king and carrying out her duties without complaint or drama?

And Harry—how far he’s fallen. From the prince who created the Invictus Games to the man who now makes awkward cameos at random events and appears in mental health commercials. It’s truly heartbreaking to see what he’s become. The man who once stood proudly in military uniform now spends his time making cringeworthy Netflix content and writing tell-all books about his family.

Real royal work is not about glitz and glamour. It’s about showing up, rain or shine, and supporting the causes that matter. The suggestion that the royal family needs Harry and Meghan’s “glamour” is not just insulting; it’s delusional. The monarchy has survived for over a thousand years without Hollywood glitz, and it will continue to thrive without it.

How rich it is that they think they could somehow replace Catherine and Camilla. Catherine, who has spent years learning about the institution and dedicating herself to meaningful causes, has shown nothing but grace and dignity in every situation. Queen Camilla has literally transformed public opinion through years of quiet, dedicated service. The very idea that Harry and Meghan could fill these roles is laughable.

What’s even richer is how they’ve conveniently forgotten how they once attacked the very institution they want to rejoin. They’ve accused the royal family of racism, claimed they were unsupportive during Meghan’s mental health struggles, and suggested the entire system was outdated. But now, they want back in? They think they can just slide into Catherine and Camilla’s roles? I don’t think so.

King Charles’s response shows exactly why he’s the perfect monarch for our times. He sees through their manipulation, their games, and their attempts to capitalize on any current challenges within the family. His message is clear: the institution is stronger than ever, and it doesn’t need the kind of glamour that comes with scandal and controversy.

What Harry and Meghan really want isn’t to serve the monarchy or the British people. What they want is the platform, the prestige, and the ability to monetize their royal connections. They want the perks without the responsibility, the titles without the duty, and the spotlight without the scrutiny. Well, guess what? That’s not how it works.

Our working royals—William, Catherine, King Charles, and Camilla—understand that true royal work isn’t about glamour or entertaining. It’s about making a real difference in people’s lives. And for those who might say I’m being harsh, let me remind you: actions speak louder than words. While the working royals have been quietly getting on with their duties—supporting their charities, representing the nation with dignity—what have Harry and Meghan been doing? Making podcasts about themselves, writing books about themselves, and appearing in documentaries about themselves. See the pattern?

The royal family doesn’t need their type of glamour. What the royal family represents is something far more valuable: consistency, dedication, service, and dignity. These are the values that have sustained the monarchy for centuries, and they will continue to sustain it long after the Sussex saga is nothing but a footnote in history.

There are no roles waiting for Harry and Meghan to claim. The royal family is stronger than ever, despite the challenges. Keep supporting our true royals—they’re the ones who deserve our attention and respect, not these wannabe royals trying to claw their way back through manufactured drama and manipulation.

Meghan EXPLODED With Jealousy As Prince George Claims New ASTONISHING Royal Title But SNUB Archie

The British royal family is once again in the spotlight as a fresh wave of controversy and intrigue sweeps through the palace. This time, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is reportedly in turmoil over news involving her nephew-in-law, Prince George. The young prince has been awarded a new royal title, “Supreme Ruler of the Commonwealth Realms,” which has sparked a heated reaction from Meghan, who allegedly views the decision as yet another sign of favoritism towards the Cambridges.

The unexpected move has left Meghan feeling sidelined, with reports suggesting she is “fuming with jealousy” over what she perceives as a preferential treatment of Prince George and his family. Insiders claim that Meghan feels this new title bestows an extraordinary level of prestige and power on Prince George, overshadowing her own family’s standing within the royal hierarchy. While the title is largely ceremonial and does not grant Prince George any actual political authority, Meghan’s response has been described as severe, with suggestions that she is considering legal action to contest the decision.
Royal experts, however, are quick to point out that Meghan’s reaction might be disproportionate. According to royal historian Penelope Fitz William, the title is purely symbolic and has no impact on the line of succession or the practical roles of any family members, including Meghan and Prince Harry. Fitz William notes that such titles are often part of traditional ceremonies and should not be seen as a reflection of any real power shift within the monarchy.

Buckingham Palace has remained tight-lipped on the matter, refusing to comment on the specific details surrounding Prince George’s new title, citing the need to protect the privacy of the young prince. The palace’s silence, however, has only fueled further speculation and debate, with royal watchers and media outlets worldwide buzzing with theories about what this means for the already strained relationships within the family.

Sources close to Meghan have hinted that she feels this new title is a deliberate snub, a way to diminish her and Harry’s significance within the royal framework. They suggest she views the move as part of a broader pattern of marginalization that she and Harry have faced since stepping back from their royal duties and relocating to the United States. These sources indicate that Meghan is actively exploring legal avenues to challenge the decision, although it remains unclear what grounds she might have for such a challenge.

The controversy has the potential to further escalate tensions between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family, particularly with Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales. The delicate balance of power and public perception within the royal household is already a subject of intense scrutiny, and this latest development could add another layer of complexity to the ongoing saga of royal family dynamics.

As the dust settles, one thing is certain: the drama surrounding Prince George’s new title and Meghan Markle’s fiery response is far from over. It serves as a stark reminder of the intricate and often contentious relationships that lie beneath the surface of one of the world’s most famous families. As the royal family continues to navigate these troubled waters, the world watches closely, waiting to see how this latest chapter will unfold.

Prince Harry immediately returned to England to confront King Charles after he stripped Meghan of her final royal title: “My wife has been completely stripped of her assets.”

Prince Harry got angry when his father King Charles declined financial support to Meghan Markle, according to a new book.

A massive blow came from then-Prince Charles, who told Harry that he could not afford to pay Meghan as a member of the royal family as he was supporting Camilla.

.Charles told his younger son that he could not afford to pay Meghan as a member of the royal family since he was already supporting Camilla and William’s expanding brood, according to Jobson’s book reported by the Daily Mail.

Robert Jobson, in his book ‘Our King’, reportedly claims that Harry was “infuriated” when his father Charles declined to nominate Meghan for the royal household’s payroll.

One of the early disagreements between father and son was sparked by the “bombshell.” Harry’s calls were no longer answered by Charles after his son yelled at him and demanded money repeatedly, according to an excerpt from Jobson’s book. “When the Queen asked Charles why he hadn’t given in, he told her that he wasn’t a bank” the author wrote.

Jobson, who previously authored books on Princess Diana and former bodyguard Ken Wharfe, stated that “this infuriated Harry.”

Royal Family RECAP: Prince Harry sent two-word warning by Donald Trump in visa row

The Duke of Sussex has been caught up in ongoing rows over his US visa after he admitted to past drug-taking in his 2023 memoir Spare.

Prince Harry could face the wrath of Donald Trump if it is found that he lied on his US visa about his past drug-taking.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, has been living in Montecito, California, with his wife Meghan Markle and their two children since quitting life as a senior royal in 2020.

While his wife, 43, is a US citizen and would not have needed a visa to return to her home country, the duke had to apply for a visa to give him permission to live in the country.

However, since the release of Spare in 2023, where he opened up using drugs, questions have been raised about whether the prince was honest about this in his visa application, with Washington-based thinktank The Heritage Foundation urging courts to make his application details public.

Nile Gardiner of The Heritage Foundation said on News Nation: “We will be calling on the Trump administration to release Harry’s application records, the Biden administration refused to do that. He should be held to account. I do hope that the new Trump presidency will release Harry’s application records for the American people to see for themselves what exactly is in them records.”

While this has not yet been done, concerns are rising for the prince as President-elect Donald Trump made it clear that if the prince did lie to gain residency in the country, he would take “appropriate action” against him, which has been discussed by Nile Gardiner, director of The Heritage Foundation’s Margaret Thatcher Center, who is pushing for the records to be released.

Trump is not believed to be a fan of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, resulting in mounting concerns over what this could mean for the future.

Fans around the world are in mourning after former One Direction member Liam Payne was reportedly found dead after falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aries. TMZ reports that the 31-year-old UK singer “plunged” from the third floor of his hotel on Wednesday afternoon local time.

The Strip That Down hitmaker was in South America attending his former band member Niall Horan’s concert on October 2 alongside his girlfriend of two years, Kate Cassidy. He posted a video on Snapchat saying he was attending the concert as he wanted to “square up a couple of things” with the Irish singer.

“I think we might just go and say hello,” he said, “It’s been a while since me and Niall have spoken. We’ve got a lot to talk about. And I would like to square up a couple of things with the boy. No bad vibes or anything like that. But just, um, we need to talk.”

Fans captured videos of Liam singing and dancing along to Niall’s performance from his box in Movistar Arena. He later posted selfies of himself and Niall on Snapchat alongside the caption: “Reunited ❤️.”

Niall continued touring around South America following his concert in Argentina, visiting Chile and Peru before ending his tour in Bogota, Colombia on October 9. It’s unknown if he was still in South America when Liam died.

    Liam’s final Instagram post

While he was active on Snapchat on the day of his death, Liam’s final post on Instagram was shared on May 29 in tribute to Morgan Spurlock, who directed One Direction’s 2013 concert film One Direction: This Is Us.

He shared a photo of himself and his One Direction members with Morgan at the New York City premiere of the film alongside the caption: “Rest in peace Morgan Spurlock it was a pleasure working with you ❤️”

Liam rose to fame through the boy band One Direction after the group was formed on The X-Factor UK in 2010, and was comprised of himself, Niall, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.

The band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016 and Liam subsequently established a solo career releasing two EPS and one studio album, ‘LP1’.

“The day the band ended, I was like, ‘Thank the Lord’,” he told The Diary Of A CEO podcast in 2022. “I know a lot of people are going to be mad at me for saying that, but I needed to stop or it would kill me.”

He is father to son Bear, who was born in 2017, from his previous relationship with singer Cheryl Cole. He began dating his girlfriend, influencer Kate Cassidy, in October 2022.

In a recent event that has sparked outrage and emotional responses from fans, a television crew was spotted filming inside a cemetery where musician and former One Direction member Liam Payne was laid to rest.

The situation has raised ethical and moral questions about privacy, respect for the deceased, and the sensitivities surrounding public figures and their families during times of mourning.

While Payne’s passing has left fans and the music world deeply saddened, the appearance of a film crew at such a private and solemn location has only heightened the grief and frustration of many.

For those who hold Liam Payne in high regard, both as a performer and as a person, his legacy is something they want to remember with reverence. The intrusion of cameras and production equipment in the cemetery has been viewed by some as a disrespectful act that detracts from the quiet dignity that should accompany one’s final resting place. For many, cemeteries are places of peace and introspection, a sanctuary where individuals go to pay their respects to loved ones who have passed away. It is a place that people expect to be treated with sensitivity and respect, especially when it involves someone as cherished by the public as Liam Payne. However, the presence of the film crew has disrupted this atmosphere, replacing the expected quietude with an image of insensitivity and disregard for both Payne’s family and fans.

This incident brings up broader conversations about the media’s role in respecting the personal boundaries of public figures. In an age where celebrities’ lives are documented extensively by the media, there is a growing demand from the public for media outlets to recognize and honor the importance of personal space, particularly during vulnerable times. In this case, many feel that the desire to capture exclusive footage or create sensational content has led to a significant breach of trust with Payne’s family and supporters. Privacy, they argue, should not be compromised for the sake of a few moments of television, especially in a setting as sacred as a cemetery.

The reaction from the fan community and the general public has been strong, with many expressing anger on social media and calling for greater accountability for production teams. Fans have taken to platforms like Twitter and Instagram to voice their dissatisfaction, often using hashtags to draw attention to what they see as an inappropriate and offensive act. Some have even questioned whether stricter regulations should be enforced regarding filming in cemeteries or other private locations, particularly when the location holds deep significance for families and admirers alike. They argue that without such boundaries, media outlets and production crews may continue to overstep in pursuit of content, to the detriment of public sentiment and moral integrity.

In addition to the anger from fans, there is also a sense of sadness and helplessness that this intrusion has occurred. Many of Payne’s admirers have followed his career since he first rose to fame, watching him grow and evolve as both an artist and an individual. For these fans, Payne’s resting place is a symbol of a journey that brought joy to millions and had a lasting impact on popular culture. The disturbance of this space feels, to them, like a disruption to their grieving process and a dishonor to Payne’s memory. The act of visiting a loved one’s grave is one that people expect to carry out in peace and solitude, reflecting on shared memories and honoring the life that has passed. By encroaching on this space, the film crew’s presence is seen as an intrusion on the personal healing process that many are experiencing following Payne’s passing.

While television crews often seek to cover events in a way that resonates with the public, critics argue that there is a line between documenting a story and crossing into the realm of exploitation. This incident has prompted discussions about the importance of ethical guidelines within media production, especially when dealing with sensitive subjects like death and mourning. Some believe that more comprehensive industry standards should be established to ensure that filming practices do not infringe upon personal spaces or moments of grief. These advocates suggest that by respecting these boundaries, media organizations could foster a more respectful relationship with the public and the families of those they cover, helping to preserve the dignity of individuals like Liam Payne.

In the wake of this controversy, calls for change may lead to new policies regarding filming permissions in sacred or private spaces, with the aim of protecting both the living and the memory of the deceased. Although celebrities live much of their lives under the public gaze, many believe that certain aspects, especially in times of grief, deserve to be shielded from the spotlight. The presence of a television crew in Liam Payne’s final resting place serves as a stark reminder that sensitivity and respect should always be prioritized over entertainment or profit.

Ultimately, this incident has underscored the importance of empathy in media practices and the need to honor the personal experiences of those who mourn, whether they be family members, friends, or fans. For those who admired Liam Payne, the hope is that his memory can be preserved in a way that respects his legacy, with dignity and care at the forefront.

BREAKING NEWS: Authorities have revised the results of Liam Payne’s autopsy, leaving the public horrified: “He had already passed away before he fell…” What happened?

Liam Payne’s tragic death has been surrounded by mystery and speculation, and recent revelations have only added to the confusion and shock. In the latest twist, it has been reported that Liam was “made to fall” from a balcony, with some sources describing the event as “involuntary.” These new details have sent

shockwaves through the singer’s fans and the public, who are still struggling to make sense of his untimely passing. As the investigation continues, questions about the circumstances surrounding Liam’s fall have only deepened the intrigue and sorrow.

According to sources close to the investigation, there is growing evidence that Liam Payne’s fall was not a simple accident. Several reports have suggested that the singer may have been pushed or caused to fall from the balcony in a way that was not entirely voluntary. Witnesses have claimed that Liam was in a vulnerable state when the incident occurred, and there are suspicions that external factors may have played a role in the tragic event. These developments have raised questions about whether his death was the result of foul play or a tragic sequence of events that spiraled out of control.

Some of the details emerging from the investigation suggest that Liam was struggling with his mental health at the time of his death, which may have made him more susceptible to risky behavior or influenced his decision-making. It is also being reported that Liam had been spending time with a small group of people in the days leading up to the incident, and questions have arisen about whether those around him might have played a role in his fatal fall. However, there has been no concrete evidence to suggest that anyone intentionally caused harm to Liam, and authorities are proceeding with caution as they continue to gather information.

For fans of the former One Direction star, the news that Liam’s fall may have been involuntary has been both heartbreaking and bewildering. Many have expressed their disbelief, as the circumstances surrounding his death seemed to defy logic and explanation. Liam had been open about his struggles with anxiety and depression, but no one expected his life to end in such a tragic and unexplained manner. For those who followed his career, his passing has left a deep sense of loss, compounded by the confusion surrounding the details of the incident.

The revelation that the fall may have been involuntary has sparked a flurry of speculation about what happened in the moments before Liam’s death. Some fans have wondered if he was in a heightened emotional state, possibly influenced by the pressures of fame, personal struggles, or even substance use. Others are concerned that Liam may have been coerced or manipulated into taking risks, possibly due to the people he was surrounded by in the days leading up to the incident. Regardless of the theory, the possibility that Liam’s death was the result of something beyond his control has left many searching for answers.

As authorities work to piece together the full details of Liam Payne’s death, his family and friends are left to cope with the overwhelming grief of losing someone they loved so deeply. While the investigation continues, the public remains eager to understand what led to such a tragic outcome. Was it a tragic accident, a momentary lapse in judgment, or something more sinister? These are the questions that are likely to remain unanswered until the investigation is complete.

Liam’s passing has undoubtedly left a hole in the hearts of his fans, who are mourning not only the loss of a talented musician but also a man who had touched so many lives with his kindness and vulnerability. His struggles with mental health had been well-documented, and many of his supporters are now reflecting on the challenges he faced in the years leading up to his death. The revelation that his fall may have been involuntary only deepens the sense of tragedy, as it paints a picture of a man who was not only dealing with personal demons but also potentially manipulated or influenced by others in a moment of extreme vulnerability.

As the investigation into Liam Payne’s death unfolds, the focus will likely remain on uncovering the truth behind his tragic fall. For now, fans, family, and friends are left to navigate the pain of his loss, clinging to the memories of a life cut far too short. Whatever the outcome of the investigation, Liam’s legacy as a beloved artist and a person who brought joy to many will undoubtedly continue to live on. However, the lingering questions about the circumstances of his death will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on all those who loved him.

Davina McCall UNDERGOING brain SURGERY TODAY to remove tumour as she begs ‘PRAY FOR ME’

Davina McCall has been rushed to hospital for brain surgery.

The Masked Singer judge has had an operation to remove a 14mm benign brain tumour, which she discovered during a health scan a few months ago while giving a talk for a menopause company.

In a video update shared on Friday, Davina asked her fans to keep her in their prayers as her boyfriend Michael Douglas takes over her social media during her recovery period.

Michael reassured fans that Davina is in “great shape” but will be “off grid” until she’s fully recovered. He wrote in the caption of the video: “Hey everyone. Michael here. @davinamccall will be “off grid” for a bit while she recovers from this brain operation. She is in great shape and in very good hands.”

“I’ll do the odd update from her account here for anyone interested. I’m sure she’ll read all the comments when she’s able to so feel free to send love [heart emoji] . The support of people is amazingly powerful. Have a great day everyone. Michael xxx”.

Alongside her husband’s caption, an emotional Davina addressed fans in a video, saying: “I was offered a health scan which I thought I was going to ace but it turned out I had benign brain tumour which is very rare, ‘three in a million’.”

Speaking in the pre recorded clip, she said: “I’m posting this. It will be Friday morning, and I’m doing it because a few months ago, I did a menopause talk for a company, and they offered me a health scan in return, which I thought I was going to ace, but it turned out I had a benign brain tumour called a colloid cyst, which is very rare, three in a million.

“And so I slightly put my head in the sand for a while, and then I saw quite a few neuro surgeons. I got lots of opinions, and I realised that I have to get it taken out.” Davina described it as a “big” tumour, 14 mm wide, adding: “It needs to come out, because if it grows, it would be bad.”

The star told how she will undergo a craniotomy, a surgical procedure to temporarily remove part of the skull. “Say a prayer for me. I’m in good spirits,” she added.

“I’m going to be in hospital for about nine days, and then I’m going to be going home, but I’m going to be off my phone for a while. But I don’t want you to worry about me. I’m doing that enough as it is. I am in a good space, and I have all the faith in the world in my surgeon and his team, and I am handing the reins over to him. He knows what he’s doing,” she signed off.

According to the NHS, non-cancerous brain tumours are more common in people over the age of 50, and symptoms include headaches, blackouts, behavioural changes and loss of consciousness.

The NHS describes a benign brain tumour as: “A benign (non-cancerous) brain tumour is a mass of cells that grows relatively slowly in the brain. Non-cancerous brain tumours tend to stay in one place and do not spread. It will not usually come back if all of the tumour can be safely removed during surgery. If the tumour cannot be completely removed, there’s a risk it could grow back. In this case it’ll be closely monitored using scans or treated with radiotherapy.”

The former Big Brother host, who currently presents ITV dating show My Mum, Your Dad, has long advocated on women’s health issues, and presented documentaries on contraception and the menopause.

Last year, she became an MBE in the King’s birthday honours for services to broadcasting last year, and in 2022 released the book Menopausing: The Positive Roadmap To Your Second Spring, with the aim of ending “the shame and horrific misinformation surrounding menopause”.

That same year, she fronted the Channel 4 documentary Davina McCall: Sex, Mind And The Menopause, and told the BBC that the perimenopausal symptoms caused her difficulties multi-tasking and she considered that she had a brain tumour or Alzheimer’s disease at the time.

McCall has also raised money for Cancer Research UK by running for Race For Life in honour of her late sister.

Her sister Caroline Baday died from lung cancer in 2012 at the age of 50.

The 57-year-old TV star was overwhelmed with emotion, confessing that she ‘couldn’t stop crying’ when her eldest daughter moved to Manchester after university. Davina, mother to Holly, 23, Tilly, 21, and Chester, 18, shared how she “cried all the way home” after dropping off Holly.

Davina, like any mum, also can’t help worry about her daughters, even though they’re in their twenties. She feels like part of her is missing now that they’re living their own lives and that she won’t be needed in the same way. She’s no longer being asked to make dinners, do their washing etc. It’s the little things that she’ll miss.”

The TV celebrity got real about her emotional trip back from Manchester after dropping her eldest off, despite the city being just “two hours away” by train. In an intimate reveal to The Times Magazine, she disclosed: “I wasn’t worried about empty nest syndrome until I drove my daughter to Manchester recently. We built IKEA furniture all day, settled her in, and then I cried all the way home.”

Back in September, Davina issued partner Michael an apology after locking lips with another man during that month’s National Television Awards.

The presenter was honoured on the night with the Special Recognition Award for contributions to the television industry. Following her winners announcement, the ceremony showed a clip of some of her best moments on the small screen. One hilarious video however showed the moment Davina kissed David Tennant during the Red Nose Day telethon in 2009.

As the footage beamed out, Michael’s hilarious reaction was caught on camera as he set next to Davina in the audience. His mock shock was lapped up by the audience as Davina was seen apologising to her man.

The video also had clips of her colleagues and co-stars, including Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, sharing their favourite things about the presenter. Other projects from over the years included her time on Big Brother as well as current project My Mum, Your Dad.

When Davina took to the stage toreceive her gong, she paid a gushing tribute to Michael, thanking the hairdresser for making her a “better person”. During her tearful tribute, she said: “Thank you so much, this means so much. I can’t even begin to tell you, I don’t even know where to start.”

“I love my job, I feel so privileged to be able to share it with you. You might like some of it, not all of it. I’ve presented some turkeys, I know!

Focusing on Michael, she then said: “Thank you, I love being on this journey with you. You make me a better person and you make me so happy.”

Davina and Michael, 49, have been together for five years and live together in a mansion in Kent. Despite her current happiness, Davina has opened up in the past about her turbulent love life before she met Michael. However, she now feels she has a “potential marriage going”. She made the claim while speaking to The One Show about her relationship with Michael, who she met while he worked on Big Brother as a hairstylist.

Doting mum Davina has navigated her way through devastating problems in her personal life, including her “traumatic” divorce from ex-husband Matthew Robertson. The couple, who wed in 2000, share three children – Holly, Chester and Tilly – and announced they had split in 2017, shortly after Davina’s 50th birthday. The former Big Brother host has had a turbulent love life over the years, and it began in her early 20s, when she started dating a huge rock star.

Then aged just 25, Davina struck up a strong connection to rock and blues legend Eric Claption, who was 23 years older than her. After experimenting with cocaine and heroin, she decided to beat her demons with the help of the Wonderful Tonight hitmaker, who supported her as she attended meetings at Narcotics Anonymous. “I was a mess. You name it, I took it. Cocaine, ecstasy and heroin,” she told The Mirror. Her time spent with the rock icon helped her to land a life-changing role at MTV in 1992, but the couple soon parted ways.

Davina moved on quickly, and began dating shop owner Andrew Leggett, and after a whirlwind six-month romance, they got married in 1997. However, her rarely spoken about first marriage was not a happy union, and they divorced after just three months. At the time, Davina and Andrew were pictured arguing outside her old flat in West London, and she briefly touched upon their union in an interview in 2006. “I fell madly in love, but it was wrong, so I got out quick,” she told The Mirror. “I won’t talk about it because he’s not a celebrity and it’s not fair on him.”

While working on MTV in her first big TV gig, Davina had a brief fling with footballer Stan Collymore, who had moved from Liverpool to Aston Villa in 1998. He wrote about their relationship in his autobiography Tackling My Demons, and said Davina was “the one that got away”, as he would have married her if it wasn’t for another woman “messing” with his head. They sparked rumours of a reconciliation when he was spotted at her villa in the south of France, but Davina shot down the reports, and insisted Stan was just a close friend.

The presenter then began dating Pet Rescue co-host Matthew Robertson, and the couple tied the knot in 2000 at Eastnor Castle in Hertfordshire. They welcomed three children – daughters Holly and Tilly, and son Chester – and even renewed their wedding vows on their 15th anniversary. Despite their determination to make their marriage work, they eventually parted ways, and Davina announced they had split shortly after her 50th birthday in 2017. “I am very sad to say Matthew and I have separated. Our amazing children are our number one priority,” she shared in a statement.

Discussing the divorce in 2020, Davina admitted it was “traumatic”, and said it took time – and years – for them to work things out following their split. “Going through a divorce is a traumatic experience and it is something that needs to be navigated as carefully as possible,” she told the Mail on Sunday’s You magazine, adding that their divorce “involved absolute emotional turmoil.”

Now, Davina is happier than ever with Michael, after being friends with the stylist to the stars for more than 20 years.

Holly Willoughby, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary have led the celebrity tributes to Davina McCall after she revealed she’s undergoing brain surgery to remove a benign tumour.

The TV presenter, 57, shared the news in an Instagram post, saying she has a ‘very rare’ colloid cyst that affects only three in a million people.

She explained that she received the diagnosis by chance after booking in for a ‘health scan’.

In a video, she said: ‘I’m posting this. It will be Friday morning, and I’m doing it because a few months ago, I did a menopause talk for a company, and they offered me a health scan in return, which I thought I was going to ace, but it turned out I had a benign brain tumour called a colloid cyst, which is very rare, three in a million.

‘And so I slightly put my head in the sand for a while, and then I saw quite a few neuro surgeons. I got lots of opinions, and I realised that I have to get it taken out.’

Following her announcement, members of the This Morning family including Holly, Alison and Dermot sent their love to Davina.

Davina has been dating celebrity hairdresser Michael, 49, for five years and though the pair are blissfully happy, they have no plans to walk down the aisle together.

With the pair having both been married before, Davina explained that they didn’t need to ‘rock the boat’ by tying the knot, insisting that for now, marriage is ‘off the table’.

Speaking to The Sun, she responded ‘no’ both times when asked if she was engaged to Michael or planned to marry down the line.

Giving her reasons for her refusal, she went on: ‘That’s not even on the table, it’s just not. He’s been [married before] so we both just feel like we are happy, let’s not rock the boat. Let’s just keep things on the down-low.

    WHAT IS A COLLOID CYST?

A colloid cyst is a slow-growing tumour typically found near the center of the brain.

The benign growth contains gelatinous material.

Most patients present with headaches, although other symptoms including vertigo, memory problems and double vision can occur.

If large enough, a colloid cyst obstructs the movement of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the brain.

This results in a build up of CSF in the ventricles of the brain and raises pressure in the skull.

Surgery may be required promptly in order to reduce the relatively high risk of sudden death.

‘We’re not interested. I knew Michael for so many years [before we got together] that there were no questions to ask like that. I know him. It was easy.’

Shutting down any further questions about her love life, Davina concluded by saying: ‘I love Michael. And I always feel like it’s too precious to just talk about in public. I just want to keep it for me.’

Davina and Michael were old friends and first met when he styled her hair during her Big Brother presenting days.

Davina split from her ex-husband Matthew Robertson in 2017 after 17 years of marriage. She was also briefly wed to Andrew Leggett in 1997.

She shares three children with Matthew: Holly, 22, Tilly 20, and 17-year-old son Chester.

While Davina is famed for presenting shows such as Big Brother, My Mum Your Dad and  The Biggest Loser, in recent years she has been campaigning for more awareness and treatment for the menopause.

Speaking about her experience, Davina shared: ‘It’s so lonely [going through menopause], I thought I was disappearing and my world was getting smaller and smaller. I felt very lonely and isolated,’ she said.

‘It’s only when you come out of the grey, you think, I haven’t belly laughed for months… It can be a fantastic time in your life, of freedom. It’s just the next stage.’

Davina explored menopause in a documentary entitled Sex, Mind and the Menopause – the follow-up to her 2021 programme Sex, Myths and the Menopause.

The show further explored more of the burning issues raised in her first documentary – including menopause myths and the taboo around HRT.

It also took a deeper look at whether women are being sidelined, sacked or forced to go part-time when hit by menopause symptoms at work.

In January, Davina was awarded an MBE for services to broadcasting following a television career spanning more than two decades.

The TV presenter heaped praise on the Princess Royal after being made an MBE for services to broadcasting.

She said Princess Anne had always been one of her favourite royals and shared her ‘gung-ho’ attitude to life.

The presenter added that she was ‘terrified’ before the investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace, but that it was an ‘honour’.

When asked by the Princess Royal how she got into broadcasting, the presenter replied that she had wanted to be a singer but ‘wasn’t good enough’.

Princess Anne then quipped that ‘The Masked Singer is perfect for you!’

Davina began her TV career presenting in 1994 on MTV Europe, before moving onto Hitlist UK the year after.

But her big break came in 2000, when she landed the role of then-contemporary Channel 4 reality show Big Brother.

She went on to present the popular British show until 2010 as well as several series of the weekly eviction spin-off and celebrity edition.

Shortly after Davina began hosting weight-loss show The Biggest Loser on ITV though the series was cancelled in 2012.

Her latest project, announced launched last year saw her star in the ‘midlife Love Island, My Mum, Your Dad, which was hugely successful in its first season.

As well as her programme presenting duties, Davina is also known for her social justice and charitable work, though she has occasionally combined the two.

Since 2005 she has often been part of the celebrity presenter line-up for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day and was only yesterday confirmed to be returning this year.

As well as that, in 2021 she featured in the Stand Up To Cancer telethon, during which she gave an emotional tribute to her friend – Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding.

Davina is also passionate about health and fitness and is in the shape of her life after devoting herself to ritualistic daily workouts.

Speaking to The Mirror, the presenter revealed she sets her alarm for 6:15am each day and immediately pulls on her Lycra workout gear, because it motivates her to exercise, even when she doesn’t want to.

‘I just put on a workout outfit because it means that I’m always ready,’ she said. ‘If I start my day in civvies I am not going to work out, it’s never going to happen.’

After hopping out of bed at the crack of dawn Davina hits the shower, before applying a variety of gels and patches – prescribed by her doctor to treat issues such as ‘brain fog and libido.’

Then comes breakfast, but bacon, eggs and a piping hot cup of coffee are most definitely not on the menu for the health conscious star.

‘I have the powdered bovine collagen,’ she admitted. ‘I’d probably have granola and milk for breakfast, but sometimes, if I’m naughty, I’ll do a crumpet.’

Davina is also teetotal, having previously struggled with addiction.

She began taking drugs when she was a teenager and, by her 20s was an addict, previously describing heroin as her ‘drug of choice’.

The Million Pound Drop host, who chooses not to drink in case it leads to drug use, also had a turbulent relationship with her mother, Florence Kock, who as well struggled with addiction.

Having tried heroin for the first time aged 15, Davina reflected on the sense of false comfort the substance gave her, revealing that using was ‘like coming home.’

‘When you are on it nothing else matters so you don’t care about meeting someone on time or picking up your kids from school, luckily I didn’t have any,’ she said in a podcast.

After pushing her loved ones away and losing everything to prioritise her drug use, she said: ‘Heroin became my best friend. It’s like the biggest, warmest, softest cuddle.’

After 10 years of substance abuse, Davina got help following an intervention from a friend and began attending ongoing NA meetings and therapy sessions, later achieving sobriety.

Davina described her life as ‘a crazy adventure,’ adding, ‘I don’t think I’d be as grateful as I am if I hadn’t had a tough time.’

She previously explained that as a teetotal recovering addict, she doesn’t even like to take over-the-counter tablets for headaches, so she avoided going down the medical route.

Davina told how she took up exercise and took herbal remedies to help but these didn’t ‘cut it’, telling how she planned to ‘battle through’ before finally getting educated about the menopause, with a private gynaecologist eventually prescribing HRT for her.

Ruth Langsford heads to Australia for I’m A Celebrity after ‘tough year’

Ruth Langsford is reportedly swapping the comfort of the Loose Women panel chair for the humidity of the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle to support a close friend

Ruth Langsford is being flown to Australia to take park in the imminent new season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! following her shock split from Eamonn Holmes.

The 64-year-old presenter is heading Down Under to be a surprise addition to the I’m A Celeb camp. However, fans shouldn’t expect to see her taking part in trials and tasks as Ruth will be in Australia simply in a supporting category.

The TV host will be cheering on her Loose Women co-star Jane Moore, 62, who is one of the 2024 contestants. Ruth and Jane have both been starts on the ITV lunchtime talk show since 1999 – a fact Jane has hoped will give her an advantage in the jungle.

After being confirmed as one of the contestants, she said in a pre-show interview: “I will fill the hours with good chat. I find people really interesting and I want to have organic conversations. I won’t be like, ‘Tell me about the time…’ but I will be asking questions just because I am interested. I hope they (my fellow campmates) don’t get offended!”

Ruth is tipped to appear on the new I’m A Celeb companion series, I’m A Celebrity…Unpacked which will be hosted by Joel Dommett, Kemi Rodgers and Sam Thompson. And she will be in the wings to support Jane during her time in the jungle – which she is said to be hoping will be a welcome distraction from her marriage meltdown.

A source told The Sun: “It’s been a tough year for Ruth and she’s been putting her best foot forward, she’s thrilled to have been asked to appear on this the spin off show and fly to Australia ahead of Christmas. She’s rooting for Jane and can’t wait to give her opinion on how she is getting on.” The source added: “The production team are particularly excited they have landed Ruth to join them as they think she’ll be amazing and give the new format a boost.”

Fans of Ruth were gobsmacked earlier this year when it was announced her marriage to Eamonn, 64, had come to an abrupt end after 14 years – while their romance stretched back to 1996. They confirmed their split through a representative, who said back in May: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

Before entering the jungle, Jane said her “mum” skills will also come into play after as well as her interviewing skills. She declared: “I have been on this planet a long time and I will be the person who will try to help them out. My two daughters are really up for me doing it and my youngest one keeps telling me: ‘Mum, it is going to be amazing’. If there is someone young in there struggling, I know it will appeal to my maternal side. But cooking you will not find me putting myself forward for. I am not a good cook, I am rubbish. I know the food is going to taste pretty insipid too.”
