A source from OK! magazine said that Meghan Markle wants to “escape with Harry and the kids to a secluded island”. Here, they can enjoy family joy to the fullest. “She wants to relax in luxury, without outside pressure”, the source shared.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to have a busy fall with many new projects. Therefore, Meghan wants to spend the two summer months relaxing and enjoying time with family and friends. The source added: “Meghan knows that she will have a busy fall with many new work commitments. So she just wants to focus on her family and friends this summer because she won’t have much time for them in the coming time until the end of the year.”

Besides, August is also Meghan’s birthday. However, she left it to Harry to take care of and plan a surprise for her like every year.

In addition, Disneyland in the US is also being considered by the couple for this summer trip. Their two children, Archie and Lilibet, are both “hardcore fans” of this famous amusement park. In an unearthed post from The Tig archives, her now-defunct lifestyle blog, Meghan Markle offered three recipes for the holiday to her loyal readers.

She called their recipes ‘gobble gobble good cooking,’ and even wrote that there’s no ‘carb coma aftermath’ to the dishes, since they’re ‘clean eats’

She writes that the recipe will serve two people, and it’s quite straightforward – all it takes is 10 minutes to prep and 30 minutes in the oven.

To jazz up the chicken, the recipe called mostly for greens and garnishes like leeks, chopped thyme and chopped parsley.

‘Mushrooms have been shown to boost vitamin D levels, heighten immunity and make a delicious gravy when combined with sautéed leeks and fragrant herbs,’ Meghan wrote about the delicious main course.

‘This would make a great meal anytime of the year, but it’s also a wonderful alternative to a traditional Thanksgiving turkey, in case you didn’t get a free-range turkey this year,’ she added.

And, interestingly enough, Meghan was roasting a chicken when Prince Harry proposed to her in 2017.

Next up on the menu was a roasted acorn squash wedge salad, which was made with a sunflower sauce.

This salad also served two, and took a whopping 45 minutes total time to prep and cook.

However, Meghan assured readers that it was a ‘great way to enjoy some of the last fall greens.’

The first recipe that Markle highlighted was an oven roasted chicken breast complete with mushroom and leek gravy – a bit of a different take on a traditional turkey

But if you can’t get fresh lettuce, you could also use ‘healthier mixed greens’ or even the squash and sauce by itself.

‘Sunflowers are high in vitamin E (the body’s primary fat-soluble antioxidant), magnesium and selenium, and this delicious sauce has many uses, so don’t be surprised if it becomes a regular in your kitchen,’ she explained.

And of course, you can’t skip dessert on Thanksgiving, so the ‘Clean Team’ gave a recipe for almond butter bites.

‘These protein packed little treats are not only delicious and taste like dessert, but they’re easy to whip up,’ Meghan wrote.

‘They keep for a long time and are great to take with you on all of your adventures. Nourishing and hunger satiating, these truffles make a great breakfast, post-workout snack, mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or dessert,’ she continued.

The American Riviera Orchard founder admitted that they were better than eating ‘processed candy.’

‘You can even dip them in chocolate and give them as a beautiful gift,’ she typed at the time.

‘And instead of snacking on processed candy this Thanksgiving, use these goodies as a yummy, clean alternative.’

The King seemed amused as he watched a comedian’s impression of Donald Trump at the Royal Variety Performance on Friday.

Charles was seen laughing as British comedian Matt Forde poked fun at the US president-elect on stage at the Royal Albert Hall.

Forde referenced the unfounded claims Mr Trump repeated during his presidential debate against Democrat candidate Kamala Harris earlier this year, that illegal immigrants from Haiti were eating locals’ pets in the small Ohio city of Springfield.

Forde exclaimed in the president-elect’s voice: “They’re eating the cats, they’re eating the dogs!”

He then turned to address Charles from the stage, saying in Mr Trump’s voice: “Your Majesty King Charles, you’re named after a spaniel – be very careful, they’ll eat you alive.”

The King was seen laughing in response to the joke from the royal box.

Charles arrived at the Royal Variety Performance alone, as Camilla stayed at home on doctors’ orders as she continues to fight a chest infection having fallen ill earlier this month.

A palace spokesperson said Camilla had been advised by doctors to stay at home and rest as she continues to experience some lingering symptoms.

A royal source said the Queen was “naturally disappointed to miss the evening’s entertainments, and sends her sincere apologies to all those involved, but is a great believer that ‘the show must go on’.

“She hopes to be back to full strength and regular public duties very soon.”

Charles received the posy of flowers meant for Camilla from eight-year-old Iris King-Taylor as he arrived at the event on Friday evening.

The flowers were picked from the gardens of the Royal Variety charity’s nursing home Brinsworth House, in Twickenham.

He greeted Sir Elton John on arrival, who is introducing his West End adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada starring Vanessa Williams, and told the King: “I’m very happy to be here.”

The King also received the show’s programme from 10-year-old Louie Cooper before taking the stairs up to the royal box in the auditorium.

Charles attended the show for the first time as patron of the Royal Variety charity, following in the footsteps of his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.

In a statement from Buckingham Palace, he said: “The charity’s crucial work in assisting those who have fallen ill, had an accident or hit hard times is as essential now as it ever has been.

“I would like to thank all of those who have worked so hard to stage this year’s production and wish everyone a very enjoyable evening.”

It is understood Camilla will remain in London on Friday and will then travel to Sandringham for the following week as planned.

Camilla had been due to join the King at the event on Friday night which took place at London’s Royal Albert Hall and will feature performances from stars including Sir Elton John and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

The Queen has appeared at several events after falling ill with the infection earlier this month but doctors have advised her that she should prioritise rest.

Earlier this week, the Queen was praised for her “exceptional efforts” to advance literature as she received an honorary doctorate from her sister-in-law the Princess Royal.

A royal expert has claimed that Prince Harry is ‘heartbroken’ at the fact his children Archie and Lilibet could grow up without knowing their relatives

Royal commentator Duncan Larcombe suggests that Prince Harry is “heartbroken” over his children’s potential detachment from the Royal Family, insinuating that whereas Meghan Markle has realised her aspirations, Prince Harry has fulfilled only some of his, detailed in Woman magazine. Notwithstanding his contented role as a “loving father and husband” Mr. Larcombe believes Harry has not gained much else.

The continuing debate over Harry’s security arrangements fuels conjecture about his possible return to the UK with kids Archie and Lilibet, given added impetus by the Sussexes’ reported purchase of a property in Portugal.

Mr. Larcombe stresses: “Meghan’s dreams have all come true, but what about Harry’s? He is now richer than he was, even more famous and surrounded by celebrity hangers-on rather than the group of trusted people who called friends.”

Additionally, he notes: “The major change for Harry is having two children in his life and being able to play the role of loving father and husband, something he has always wanted. Though aside from that dream achieved, there is arguably little else he has really gained.”

Ultimately Mr. Larcombe emphasises Harry’s poignant dilemma: “No matter how he might try to protest, Harry will be missing his family and friends back in Britain and will be heartbroken that his children are being brought up without knowing the relatives he left behind.”

Reports and comments throughout 2024 have been rife with speculation about Prince Harry’s yearning for the UK and his attempts to mend fences with the Royal Family.

In an interview with The Mirror, Royal biographer Tom Quinn weighed in on what he describes as the end of Harry’s “honeymoon period” in America, reports AberdeenLive.

Mr Quinn remarked: “As time goes by, Harry misses some aspects of his old life in the UK.”

He went on to add: “Inevitably, the honeymoon period where everything in the States is new and exciting is coming to an end and Harry is looking back at the past through rose-tinted spectacles. He misses his Old Etonian and army friends, many of whom have not visited as they don’t get on with Meghan.”

Furthermore, Quinn suggests Harry’s ongoing legal battle to have his security costs covered by the British taxpayer is part of a wider plan to establish a permanent residence in the UK.

This sentiment has been echoed among Royal experts, who speculate that the Sussexes’ property in Portugal might symbolically and physically bring Harry closer to his roots and family members like Princess Eugenie.

CambridgeLive has reported that Princess Eugenie is thrilled about the idea of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moving closer. An insider revealed: “Eugenie is immensely fond of Harry and Meghan, as is Jack. They’ve always been incredibly close and it’s extremely heartening to them that a wider (peace for the Sussexes) with the royals is finally in sight.”

The former royal couple were spotted getting off the plane on October 16. They were greeted by customs and border patrol officers as they left the tarmac. Meghan looked fresh and healthy after her vacation. She was ready for Atlanta’s cool weather by wearing a black long-sleeved maxi dress, brown flats and a blue scarf.

The 42-year-old Duchess wore sunglasses, her hair in a messy bun, and carried a souvenir bag emblazoned with the words “Cream of the Islands” and held a sun hat. Meanwhile, Harry carried a leather bag, wore a white polo shirt, olive khaki pants and suede shoes, and a black baseball cap.

The Sussexes’ two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, were not seen at the airport, further fueling speculation that Harry and Meghan were on a private vacation in the Caribbean. After browsing the shelves, the couple walked along a bougainvillea-lined walkway before boarding a luxury boat that took them to the northern coast of Canouan.

Canouan is less than 5 km wide but is known as a place for the super rich. In addition to Harry – Meghan , stars who are fans of this paradise island include Robert Downey Jr, Leonardo DiCaprio and George – Amal Clooney.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex was recently spotted having a nightout with her close friends, but without husband Prince Harry. She sang and danced along to a gospel choir to enjoy her time.

Meghan attended the Highbrow Hippie hair care line’s launch party at the Gjelina restaurant in Venice, California on November 14. She is one of the lead investors for Kadi Lee’s new Haircare and Wellness range.

At the party, she posed for pictures with her longtime hair colorist and friend Kadi Lee and her hairstylist Serge Normant.

For the occasion, she was seen wearing a black strapless Khaite top and black pants, accessorizing with a gold pendant necklace and gold earrings. Her classic look included shoes from brand Aquazurra.

“I am so proud to invest in (Kadi) as a friend and as a female founder,” Meghan told InStyle of her investment in Highbrow Hippie.

“Kadi has a mastery of hair health, and her Highbrow Hippie collection is a perfect reflection of that,” she added.

According to a report by PEOPLE citing a source, Meghan Markle was in “a joyful mood” at the event.

“She was dancing and celebrating with her friends,” the report said.

Meghan’s several close friends, including makeup artist Daniel Martin and Tatcha founder Vicky Tsai were also present at the party.

“We needed this celebration of community and creativity,” Martin tells PEOPLE. “I was honored to celebrate these women among such close friends.”

According to OK!, a source said: “Meghan knows she is facing a losing battle when it comes to Harry reaching out to Kate and William to try and sort through their differences, but she thinks he’s making a big mistake.”

It comes after royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said that Kate’s cancer diagnosis could be an “enormous game changer” in the royal feud.

The Princess of Wales revealed she is undergoing preventative chemotherapy after being diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer earlier this year.

The source added: “She obviously feels sympathy for Kate and what she’s going through, but in her mind, it doesn’t change things.

“[Meghan] wants her to make a full recovery and for the family to all be ok but four years on from leaving and she’s still upset by it all and can never fully forgive the royals for what they put her and Harry through and have never apologised.”

Meghan Markle has given Prince Harry an ultimatum over any possible peace talks with the royal family and insisted she doesn’t want to be “side-lined,” according to a source.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been on tense terms with The Firm ever since they stepped down as senior royals and moved to America in 2020. The relationship between Harry and his brother Prince William is currently non-existent.

Following recent health scares within the royal family, however, speculation has risen about a potential end to the royal feud. Amid the rumors, one source has claimed that while Meghan is supportive of Harry’s desire to make amends, she wants to be involved.

“Meghan is all for Harry making peace with his family, but she’s not going to let them sideline her in the process,” the source said. They added, “She’s been very clear that she’s not about to let William, or anyone else, drive a wedge between her and Harry.”

Speaking to Heat World Magazine, the source suggested Meghan feels as though any attempt of a reunion with just Harry is a “no-go.” They continued, “She feels strongly that she and Harry are a team, and if his family wants to welcome him back but not her, that will be a dealbreaker.”

The source also said Harry and Meghan are still very much united and described them as a “package deal.” The source disclosed, “There is a big worry that Meghan could turn out to be a real roadblock in the peace talks.”

They continued, revealing Kate Middleton’s alleged concerns, “Kate is still very optimistic, she’s seen a lot of changes in Harry, and she does believe he’s ready to compromise and let some of the past go, but she’s worried Meghan may stand in the way.”

They concluded, “At the end of the day, Meghan and Kate both have very different ideas on what it will take for them to reconcile.”
