It would be a “smart move” for Meghan Markle to return to acting, an expert has claimed.

It has been long been speculated that Meghan Markle could be set to make a return to the acting world, with one PR expert stating that it is something “she’s good at”.

The Duchess of Sussex, who is best known for previously portraying Rachel Zane in the US drama Suits, made the decision to step away from her long-standing career around the same time that her engagement to Prince Harry was announced.

The late Queen is said to have granted Meghan the chance to continue her acting career, but Meghan herself claimed in their engagements interview that she not “giving anything up, I just see it as a change”.

GoUp’s Edward Coram-James has told Express.co.uk: “Getting back into acting could be a smart move for Meghan. It’s something she’s proven she’s good at, and it would allow her to reconnect with the hardworking, talented persona she had before becoming a royal. While it might seem like a step back, with the right roles, it could set her up for a lasting career in entertainment.”

He added: “But Meghan’s also got the entrepreneurial drive and passion for causes she cares about, so she could carve out a unique space that blends both. Prince Harry was not informed about the late Queen Elizabeth II’s declining health and had “no idea” that the royals were preparing to say their goodbyes in her final hours, a bombshell book has claimed.

The monarch died aged 96 on September 8, 2022 at Balmoral Castle with her death officially announced to the world at 6.30pm – just hours before the Duke of Sussex was able to touch down in Aberdeen.

But Endgame – the explosive book from Harry and Meghan Markle’s unofficial biographer Omid Scobie – claimed Buckingham Palace kept him in the dark about the Queen’s rapidly declining health.

Scobie wrote: “The Sussexes had no idea that Buckingham Palace was already planning for the Queen’s final hours and the first days of the monarchy’s new era – until the duke’s phone started ringing.

“An unknown number. He usually ignored those.”

According to the author, it was Meghan who urged her husband to accept the call, which was his father King Charles telling him they were on their way to Balmoral to meet Princess Anne, who was already by the Queen’s side.

Charles then urged his son to rush to Scotland as soon as possible.

Just months later in January 2023, Harry’s memoir Spare was released and in the book, he claimed the King told him not to bring Meghan because it “didn’t make any sense” – leaving the Duke extremely frustrated.

He wrote: “Regretful, [King Charles] stammered that he simply didn’t want it to fill up with people.

t forget the additional expenses—flights, hotels, jewelry—you name it, all on top of that already generous $500,000 salary. This request for a salary increase comes after all the talk about the Invictus Games being Harry’s passion project. If that’s true, it’s odd that he needs such a massive salary to fuel his passion. It’s almost as if Harry and Meghan’s charity work is just another lucrative business venture.

Shouldn’t the focus be on the veterans, getting them the help and resources they need, instead of padding Harry’s bank account? In the end, Scott Moore’s refusal to cave to Harry’s demand is a small victory for common sense. Perhaps now, the focus can return to the athletes and the true purpose of the Invictus Games, rather than being hijacked by two self-serving attention seekers.

“I can always remember being physical, using our bodies, whether it’s walking, climbing the Lake District, in Scotland  [or] swimming from a young age.

”[My parents] always encouraged us to be physically active and sporty and they always encouraged us into doing team sports and trying things.”

She then chatted about her love of swimming in cold water, which boasts numerous health benefits and involves swimming during the winter season in outdoor locations or unheated pools.

The 42-year-old raved: ”Cold swimming – the colder, the better. I absolutely love it.

”Slightly to the point where William’s [saying] ‘You’re crazy’ and it’s dark and it’s raining.

”I will go and seek out cold water. I love it!”

It’s clear that water activities have a special place in Kate’s heart, as back in 2015, it was disclosed that she is also an accomplished scuba diver.
