However, Fergie was flying solo as she jetted off the Austrian capital of Vienna, for a spot of seasonal cheer. The picturesque city is famed for its Christmas markets, which attract visitors year after year.

This comes amid an ongoing feud between King Charles and Prince Andrew, with the monarch having reportedly cut financial ties to his younger brother.

Taking to TikTok, mum-of-two Fergie shared a clip taken at Heathrow Airport, accompanied by the following caption: “Heading off to Vienna to kick start Christmas. Absolutely love this time of the year and seeing all the joy on peoples faces.”

The Duchess told followers: “It’s Monday and I decided that we need to get the Christmas spirit going. “Heathrow Airport on my way to Vienna. And what am I doing in Vienna? I am going to see [the] Christmas fair.”

Appearing excited for the travel adventures ahead, Fergie continued: “The airports are just so exciting. It’s a new adventure, new day, new journey. Let’s go.”

This comes at a supposedly tense time for the York clan. Daughters Princess Beatrice, 36, and Princess Eugenie, 34, are said to be worried about their father, Prince Andrew, who spends most of his time shut away in the “crumbling” £30 million lodge, five years after his controversial Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis shattered his reputation.

A source told HELLO!: “The girls take the grandchildren to visit him most weekends. They are spending far more time with him now than they have done in recent years. They are quite close to their father; they seem to be quite protective towards him.”

After the Duke of York seemingly refused to move out of the 30-bedroom Royal Lodge, where he and Fergie have lived since 2004, King Charles reportedly withdrew his £1 million living allowance. This has been viewed as an attempt on King Charles’ part to publicly distance himself from Prince Andrew, whose friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has attracted controversy.

Following months of alleged infighting behind palace walls, the King is said to have ordered the Keeper of the Privy Purse to cut the disgraced Duke of York’s annual personal allowance, as well as his private security.

A source told The Times: “If Andrew can pay for his own upkeep with legitimate means, then it is not an issue. But the King’s patience has run out when it comes to funding his brother’s lifestyle in a way that does not fit his status.”

Sarah and Andrew married in the summer of 1986 and divorced ten years later in 1996 – four years after their initial separation. Although they’re no longer a couple, they have remained on good terms and even spend Christmas together.

The Prince’s plane was forced to circle the airport before landing due to stormy weather, reports the Express. The extract reads: “When Harry’s plane finally touched tarmac twenty minutes later, he received a text from Meghan urging him to call ASAP followed by a breaking news alert via the BBC News app with the announcement of the Queen’s death.”

The Palace did agree to wait for Harry to arrive, but eventually they decided to announce the news without him. A spokesperson for the King said in a statement: “The public was only informed after every family member had been informed.” The newspaper also quoted a source saying that the King was “adamant” that all members of ‘the Firm’ had to be informed of the monarch’s death before the palace broke the news.

Members of the Royal Family had rushed to Aberdeenshire on the day if The Queen’s death, to be by her side at Balmoral. The Duke of Sussex was scheduled to appear at a charity award ceremony in London on September 8, but had to cancel his plans to rush to his grandmother’s bedside.

When one of the reporters told the Prince that his new facial hair gives him a laid-back, ‘relaxed’ look, William expressed surprise. “It’s interesting you say that, because I couldn’t be less relaxed this year, so it’s very interesting you’re all seeing that,” he said about the past 12 months, which saw both his wife, Princess Kate, and father, King Charles, diagnosed with cancer. “But it’s more a case of just crack on and you’ve got to keep going,” he said.

It comes after Prince Harry famously claimed that William was ‘jealous’ of the fact he was allowed to have a beard at his 2018 wedding. Writing in his tell-all memoir Spare, Harry said: “And yet I now dared to make another ask – Granny, please, may I, for my wedding, keep my beard? Not a small ask either. A beard was thought by some to be a clear violation of protocol and long-standing norms, especially since I was getting married in my Army uniform. Beards were forbidden in the British Army.”

When William found out he was granted permission, Harry said he “became livid” and claimed his older brother said: “You put her in an uncomfortable position, Harold! She had no choice but to say yes.” According to Harry, William would not let the issue drop, with the argument continuing for more than a week. It reportedly culminated with William ordering Harry to shave it off.

The Duke claimed he responded by saying: “For the love of God, Willy, why does this matter so much to you? ‘Because I wasn’t allowed to keep my beard.’ Ah, there it was. After he’d come back from an assignment with Special Forces, Willy was sporting a full beard, and someone told him to be a good boy, run along and shave it. He hated the idea of me enjoying a perk he’d been denied.”

Ben Affleck was seen looking friendly with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, as he spent his first Thanksgiving without estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez.

On Thursday, the former couple, who share children Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, reunited to volunteer with Midnight Mission.

Along with their kids, the stars teamed up to help feed 2,000 homeless and near-homeless people in downtown Los Angeles during the non-profit organization’s annual Thanksgiving brunch.

 

As they lent a helping hand, the two-time Oscar winner and actress, both 52, could be seen whispering to one another and wearing matching aprons.

They both appeared in high spirits as they served their community with a smile.

An eyewitness told DailyMail.com that they spent three hours there.

For the occasion, the Alias alum wore her long brunette hair up in a high ponytail and navy sweater.

Affleck wore a brown button-down and stuck close to Garner and his kids, including Violet, who wore an orange hoodie and N95 mask.

Earlier this year, Violet, who began her freshman year at Yale earlier this year, revealed that she contracted a ‘post-viral condition’ in 2019.

Back in 2020, Affleck took to Instagram to give the organization a sweet shoutout as he recognized Midnight Mission’s commitment to helping ‘those in need with housing, training, development and recovery.’

Previously, he told People that he learned about Midnight Mission through a parent at one of his children’s schools.

‘I found that I get a lot out of giving a little bit of my time to other people. I don’t know that it helps them or not, but I know it’s helpful to me,’ he told the outlet.

‘It’s easy to sort of throw up your hands and say there’s nothing you can do,’ Affleck said, at the time. ‘But the truth is there are people who want to make their lives better, who are struggling, who need help and who you can benefit by even doing a little bit, giving a little bit of money or a little bit of time. It’s just a really powerful thing to do to be able to connect with people.’

He said his experience working with the organization ‘has been really positive and rewarding.’

Affleck’s sighting comes one day after DailyMail.com reported that he would be spending the holiday with Garner, their three children and her boyfriend John Miller.

‘Ben and Jen are looking forward to today and Ben is anticipating a relaxing day full of food and football before he has to get back to work on the film,’ a source told DailyMail.com exclusively.

‘Thanksgiving is all about being drama free when it comes to Ben, it is going to be low key, only good vibes and Jen is on board to make today as easy as possible.’

A second insider said he was adamant that nothing would get in the way of the ‘meaningful holiday’ which will be celebrated at Garner’s house with Miller, whom she has been dating on-and-off since 2018.

The businessman had previously aired grievances about her involvement in Affleck’s marital struggles with Lopez, but there is now ‘nothing but love and appreciation’ between them all.

‘Thanksgiving is such a meaningful holiday for them to spend together before the chaos of Christmas season hits,’ the source said.

‘Jen’s boyfriend is often included and there is never any issue whatsoever as they all have nothing but love and appreciation for each other.

‘And yes, Jen Garner and the kids cook Thanksgiving dinner without any outside help.’

Affleck, who spent last Thanksgiving with Lopez, will no doubt be on hand to help comfort Garner who announced the heartbreaking news that her nine-year-old golden retriever Birdie had died.

The actress paid tribute to her beloved pet, who she acquired just after her 2015 split from Affleck.

‘She lived a happy dog life and is now in the role she was born to play: angel girl,’ she told her Instagram followers on Wednesday. ‘It’s a gift to love and be loved by such a creature as Birdie the Doggie.’

Last week reports surfaced that  tensions were brewing between her and Lopez, despite the former adopting the role of ‘marriage counselor’ during Affleck’s split from the singer.

Sources at the time said she has now chosen to distance herself from the On the Floor hitmaker and doesn’t want to have any ‘communication’ with her ‘unless it is do with the kids.’

And then there’s the possibility of the Sussexes turning it into another one of their publicity stunts? No, thank you.

Well, fast forward to now. The trailer for their new Netflix polo show has been up for five days… and it’s only mustered about 120,000 views on Netflix’s channel. That’s a bad sign—no one seems interested. And let’s be honest, this is a sport for the ultra-wealthy.Absolutely, Andy. It’s an elitist sport, and this trailer just looks… tacky. We’re not the only ones who think so—critics, and even Harry and Meghan’s own friends, are slamming it.

 

Oh, absolutely. Some former polo-playing friends of Harry, who knew him back in the day, spoke with The Daily Beast, and they were appalled and almost hysterical after seeing the trailer. One Hollywood executive even warned that Harry and Meghan are running out of chances to prove they can make compelling TV that isn’t all about themselves.

Right? It doesn’t help that the cheesy trailer doesn’t even feature them, except for Harry in the background, riding a horse—he’s hardly recognizable in the footage.

I guess that’s a good thing for them,

Totally. But, of course, they’ve got to take credit, so they’re listed as executive producers in the opening credits. It’s like a horror movie—when you see “Megan” on its own, you almost expect something scary to happen.

Seriously though, the show’s characters are largely unknown to the public. It’s filled with people who are only known because they play polo with Harry and Meghan, like “Nacho.” Sue, did you even know who Nacho was before all of this?

No idea, Andy. He’s only famous because of them.

Exactly. There’s one moment in the trailer where a player says he’s playing against his father, and he wants to win. It’s meant to add drama, but it comes off as cheesy and tacky. One former friend who played polo with Harry as a teen said it’s so cringe-worthy that it’s almost laughable.

It’s really just a missed opportunity. Polo can actually be quite an inclusive sport these days, with riders from various backgrounds, but none of that seems to come across in the show.

No, instead, we get the typical elitist portrayal—wealthy people in their multimillion-dollar homes, flashy cars, and champagne. It’s like the “Real Housewives” version of polo. But with horses!

Yikes. And it’s not just the wealth that’s off-putting. There’s even footage where they show exhausted horses being swapped out, with one player jumping off a tired horse and onto another. It’s uncomfortable to watch.

Exactly. Animal cruelty for the sake of “glory.” It’s a turn-off for a lot of people.

And it’s not just that. There’s criticism of the hypocrisy here too. How can they preach about poverty, diversity, and climate change when they’re surrounded by so much excess? It’s hard for people to take them seriously when they’re so out of touch.

You’re right. One prominent Daily Mail columnist, Liz Jones, who used to be sympathetic toward Meghan, even said, “What’s next? A shopping channel slot?” She pointed out the inconsistency between their message and their lifestyle, especially when one player admits to flying across the world twice a week, leaving his pregnant wife behind.

Exactly. It all just feels so tone-deaf.

And even though this is only the beginning of their content deal with Netflix, there’s a lot of skepticism about whether anyone still cares about them—especially if they’re not throwing shade at the royal family. They’re really running out of chances to prove they can deliver something of substance.

And let’s not forget, they have Meghan’s cooking show coming next year, which might face similar criticism.
