David Beckham has an “annoyingly elegant” view on his Italian vacation.

The soccer legend, 49, posted photos of wife Victoria Beckham, 50, on his Instagram Stories during their summer holiday — and joked about her sophisticated flair as they jet through Italy.

In a snap he posted on Saturday, Aug. 3, David photographed Victoria reading a book while wearing a black sundress and dramatic sunhat.

“Annoyingly elegant,” he wrote over the photo.

And, what’s a trip to Italy without incredible food? David shared photos of the delicious food they ate on the trip.

One snapshot from the Beckham’s getaway was a plate of spaghetti with a meaty marinara sauce and a pesto sauce garnished with basil and cheese.

Since they were along the coast, it was no surprise that the couple also dined on seafood.

At one point during their vacation, David and Victoria were joined by Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana while dining at Michelin Star restaurant Quattro Passi in Nerano, Naples.

On the menu were crispy red prawns, tomato water jelly, spaghetti, fusilli and a beautifully plated entree with red meat and greens, among other dishes.

One of their mouthwatering desserts was pistachio ice cream with pieces of pistachio mixed in for an extra layer of texture and crunch. David called it “ridiculous” in his Instagram Stories, adding “Grazie” and tagging the restaurant.

Weeks before, the couple went on a boat ride with their kids Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 13. Their oldest, Brooklyn, 25, and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham weren’t present for the boat day in France, but Victoria gave them a shoutout in her Instagram post.

David and Victoria also had a romantic date night in France, dining on a vineyard.

Saturday appears to be abs day in the Beckham household!

On Saturday, June 22, David Beckham posted a series of videos on his Instagram Stories of himself using a pull-up bar to sculpt his abs by doing crunches.

The soccer icon, 49, performed his workout shirtless, with his muscles and tattoos on full display. He wore only navy blue shorts, turquoise sneakers and tube socks.

Beckham tagged coach Bobby Rich in his social media post, thanking him for the toning workout.

Despite no longer playing soccer professionally, Beckham makes it a habit to stay in shape. Back in April, he posted a picture his wife Victoria Beckham took of him working out.

Kate Middleton has rejoined Prince William in public engagements for the first time since revealing her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

In a joint post with Prince William, the Princess of Wales, 41, highlighted mental health issues affecting young farmers. The royal couple shared their project on X (formerly Twitter) through the Kensington Royal account, stating: “This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we’ve brought together the inspirational Sam Stables from We Are Farming Minds and the brilliant Farmer Will for a very special film.” They noted the importance of discussing mental health within the farming community and highlighted the Duchy of Cornwall’s Mental Health Strategy.

Although Princess Catherine does not appear in the video, her involvement in its production alongside Prince William is evident. The project began before her illness, showcasing her longstanding commitment to mental health advocacy. The public last heard from the Princess in a moving video where she requested privacy as she began preventative chemotherapy. This announcement in March followed speculation regarding her absence after planned abdominal surgery in January. Initially not thought to be cancerous, a subsequent diagnosis confirmed the presence of the disease.

Kate has spoken about the delicate process of discussing her health with her children, George, Charlotte, and Louis.

King Charles III, 75, who is also battling cancer, has resumed his royal engagements. The monarch has been actively fulfilling his duties, recently completing five engagements within two days. His busy schedule prevented him from meeting Prince Harry during his short visit to the UK.

However, Kate is not expected to participate in public events in the near future. For instance, she will not attend the wedding ceremony at Chester Cathedral for the Duke of Westminster and Olivia Henson, scheduled for June 7th. Prince William will attend the event as an usher, according to Kensington Palace’s report. Among the guests are British billionaire Hugh Grosvenor, a close friend of Princes William and Harry and godfather to Prince Archie. Prince Harry, amidst the royal rift, has opted out of the wedding.

Meghan Markle’s attendance at a Remembrance Sunday event has been fingered as showing the moment the duchess “lost her spark,” during a time when private royal conflict burst into the public domain.

The Duchess of Sussex had recently returned from a successful tour of Australia and the South Pacific in 2018 when a royal biography, Charles at 70, first painted her as a demanding character, suggesting Prince Harry had told palace staff: “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets.”

It was the start of an era which Meghan would later say was the turning point at which her royal experience soured and within days of the stories emerging she attended Britain’s national service of remembrance at The Cenotaph, in London, on November 11, 2018.

 

A clip of her watching the moving event went viral on TikTok after the U.K.-based working royals, including Princess Kate, turned out at this year’s Remembrance Sunday service on November 10.

The footage was liked 8,000 times and viewed 180,000 times after it was posted with the message: “Once Upon A Time when Remembrance Service was something to look forward to.🖤

 

“And this when i knew my Princess Meghan lost her spark i could see it in her eyes.

“But Thank God she made it out now she and her beautiful family is blossoming.”

One reply read, “Bless her. she looks so frightened,” while another said: “Meghan was not in the room with us. You can see the sadness 🥺 thank God she has the light back in her eyes.”

A third person wrote: “One day the Royal family will beg them 2 come back, ❤❤this two.”

Meghan, Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Kate all watched the service from a balcony, though Meghan was positioned on a separate balcony with Elke Budenbender, the first lady of Germany.

The stories in the British press were the public expression of a royal rift that had already taken shape behind closed doors.

That October, Jason Knauf, communications secretary at Kensington Palace, had privately emailed a superior to accuse the duchess of bullying two PAs out of the royal household.

And as early as June 2018 the Sussexes sat down with Prince William and Princess Kate to try to work out problems between the two couples.

Harry wrote in Spare that Kate said Meghan “hurt my feelings” with a comment suggesting she had baby brain shortly after Prince Louis was born.

“It’s rude, Meghan. It’s not what’s done here in Britain,” William replied. Meghan then said: “Kindly take your finger out of my face.”

“Was this really happening?” Harry wrote. “Had it actually come to this? Shouting at each other about place cards and hormones?

“Meg said she’d never intentionally do anything to hurt Kate, and if she ever
did, she asked Kate to please just let her know so it wouldn’t happen again.”

Prince Harry is apparently not doing too well these days. According to the royal family biographer Angela Levin, the Duke of Sussex is miserable in his marriage to actress Meghan Markle. The Duke, who authored his memoir Spare, reflecting on his life growing up in the shadow of his brother William, the heir to the throne, is reportedly growing more discontent with his life in California.

In an interview with The Sun, Levin said that the younger Prince is desperate to return to his motherland. “You could say Harry is not even the spare to his wife. He’s almost nothing. She (Meghan) treats him horrendously. If you look at the filming of them in Colombia and Africa, he is not asked anything. He’s pushed out of the way,” The Sun quoted Levin as saying.

Some friends of the Prince told the publication that he feels helpless and feels overshadowed by Meghan in public. During their recent trips to Nigeria in May and Colombia last month, Meghan, 43, took the spotlight.

Members of Harry’s close circle have observed that he appears to appreciate his frequent solo trips to the UK, as Meghan remains adamant about not visiting the country. His recent attendance at the memorial for his uncle, Lord Fellowes, was well-received by his friends.

A source told The Sun, “Harry is increasingly feeling isolated in California, which is why he’s been reaching out to old friends in the UK. The trip to Colombia also emphasized how easily Meghan takes center stage, while Harry seems withdrawn and visibly unhappy in the background.”

Meghan Markle is said to be experiencing “sadness” over baby heartbreak, with the Duchess reportedly “struggling” as she faces the end of an era.

The Duchess of Sussex is a doting mother to her two children. Meghan and her husband Prince Harry welcomed their first child, Prince Archie, in 2019. And in 2021, the couple welcomed their second child, Princess Lilibet.

Just last month, for Mother’s Day in the United States, which is where the couple and their young family reside, Meghan was not with her children on the special day. During the Sussexes’ recent visit to Nigeria, which fell on Mother’s Day in the US, the former Suits actress shared her grief when she spoke of how she was not with her kids.

So it feels appropriate that although of course we are missing our children, I’m missing my babies, it feels very appropriate to be in the motherland and amongst family.”

And now a source has told OK! Magazine that Meghan struggles to be apart from her two young children. The source told the publication: “Meghan doesn’t like being away from her children as she doesn’t want to miss a thing with them growing up so fast. With Lili turning three, it’s really got Meghan and Harry thinking about their future and how quickly the children are growing up. Meghan especially feels that her babies are no longer babies and like most mums, it makes her slightly sad and wistful that the baby years have come to an end.”

 

 

The Sussexes’ daughter turned three on June 4, which is why Meghan could be struggling with the end of an era. The magazine reports that parenting expert Amanda Jenner explains: “For many parents, it really is a mix of emotions when you think your children are growing up so fast; it can leave parents feeling anxious about how fast time is going but it is completely natural.

“It’s perfectly normal that Meghan is feeling that sudden sadness and it’s important to find the positive. This can also be a time for parents to find themselves again as a person.”

Queen Camilla’s son is seemingly telling Prince Harry how to write a book without defaming the Royal Family.

The Duke of Sussex, who himself released book Spare back in 2023, let down the royal family with intimate details from his life in the UK.

Now, Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles is releasing his own book called Cooking and the Crown and is expected to show a better picture of the Royals.

 

Royal expert Phil Dampier tells The Sun: “He is sending a message that you can talk about the monarchy in positive terms and not denigrate it as Harry did in Spare. Harry washed his dirty linen in public and that is something Tom would never do.”

He added: “As a journalist, he [Tom] is inevitably a natural gossip and he must have been privy to so many secrets over the years, like when his mother was going to marry Charles, and so many bits of inside information that others would kill for. But he has remained discreet and would obviously never do anything to upset his mother, who trusts him totally.”

Prince Harry is being sent a clear, telling message by Queen Camilla’s son who has announced he is to publish a new book, an expert has claimed.

Food critic Tom Parker Bowles has revealed he is to release a book later this year called Cooking and the Crown, which will feature recipes from royal banquets as well as secrets from palace kitchens. His stepbrother Harry released his own book, a controversial memoir called Spare, last year, where he took aim at many of his royal relatives, including Camilla. The book was filled with bombshell after bombshell as he alleged his stepmother Camilla was ‘dangerous’ and a ‘villain’ and claimed his dad King Charles didn’t hug him after his mother Princess Diana died.

And according to royal expert Phil Dampier, Tom’s book shows that it’s possible to lift the lid on the monarchy without “denigrating’ it. He told The Sun: “He is sending a message that you can talk about the monarchy in positive terms and not denigrate it as Harry did in Spare. Tom is Camilla’s first of two children with her former husband Andrew Parker Bowles. He is a well-known food writer and often appears on cookery shows. He has authored several books and published in magazines, including Conde Nast Traveller, GQ and Esquire.

In September 2005, months after his mother’s wedding to Charles, Tom wed long-term girlfriend Sara Buys during a ceremony in Oxford. The couple had two children, Lola and Freddie, but split in 2018. Later, Tom found love with journalist Alice Procope, who was a mum of three. However, tragically in 2021, she died at the age of 42 after a battle with cancer. Camilla divorced Andrew in 1995 and 10 years later, in April 2005, she married the then-Prince Charles. Tom later spoke out to defend her against cruel allegations she played an “end game” in her relationship with the future king, maintaining she had simply “married the person she loved”.

Speaking on The News Agents podcast in April 2023, Tom said: “I think change happens but I don’t care what anyone says – this wasn’t any sort of end game. She married the person she loved and this is what happened.”

His comments came just months after Harry, made a number of claims about his stepmother Camilla in Spare, claiming she played “the long game”, with a campaign aimed at marriage and “the crown”. “I had complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who, I believed, had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar,” Harry wrote in his tell-all book.

He said that meeting Camilla – who he referred to as the ‘Other Woman’ in his memoir – was like an “injection”, writing: “Close your eyes and you won’t even feel it.” “I remember wondering… if she would be cruel to me; if she would be like all the evil stepmothers in the stories,” he wrote.
