Celebrity Big Brother duo tease new TV project together just days after the final

Celebrity Big Brother concluded last week with its live final, which saw the likes of Danny Beard and Donna Preston leave the house after having been housemates for three weeks

Two housemates from the most recent series of Celebrity Big Brother have teased that a collaboration between them is already in the works. It comes less than a week after the second series came to an end with its live final five days ago.

Danny Beard, 32, and Donna Preston, 38, were among the finalists on the ITV show. The pals, who spent three weeks together as housemates, have suggested on a podcast that they are now working on a project together after having left the Big Brother house last Friday night. RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny and comedian Donna teased a collaboration whilst guests on the latest episode of the podcast Chloe vs The World.

They were asked about their careers by host Chloe Burrows, 29, who had worked with Donna on Channel 4’s Scared of the Dark in 2023.

Asked if they would be open to any other TV shows, Danny told Chloe on the podcast: “Absolutely. I wanna do a show with Donna.” Donna, who is also an actor, suggested similarly, with her reacting: “Yeah, I wanna do a show with Danny.”

Former Love Island finalist Chloe said: “Right, if you guys were to write a little show for you two that would be perfect, what would you be doing?” Hinting that a project could already be in the works, Danny said: “Maybe it’s happening!”

Chloe react: “Shut the f*** up!” Donna then said: “We can tell her.” Danny responded: “No!” Teasing over a potential project between them, Danny’s former housemate added: “A show is happening but we can’t tell you anything else.”

Following the remarks, Chloe appeared to suggest that they have “really been getting work” following their recent stints on this year’s Celebrity Big Brother. Donna said: “We have to.” She teased moments later on the podcast: “We’re going to Hollywood, honey. We’re going to Hollywood!”

Danny went on to say: “Why do you think we were in there though? Come on! Like, this is the thing …” Chloe replied: “No, I love it. I love to see it. I respect [it].” Following her remark, Danny commented: “You’ve got to hustle.”

The podcast interview, which was released yesterday, comes after Danny and Donna reached the final of this year’s Celebrity Big Brother. They had been in the house for three weeks, with the show having launched earlier this month.

Coronation Street cast member Jack P. Shepherd was crowned the winner of the series, with Danny named as the runner-up. Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best also announced in the final that former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa placed third.

Donna finished fourth in the competition ahead of singer Chesney Hawkes and former Love Island star Chris Hughes, who placed fifth and sixth respectively. Seven housemates had already left the Big Brother house prior to the final.

ITV has since shared the “final vote results”. The broadcaster revealed that winner Jack received 37.37 percent of votes, whilst runner-up Danny got 35.72 percent. JoJo, Donna and Chesney then had 13.17 percent, 8.18 percent and 3.04 percent respectively, whilst Chris received 2.52 percent of votes.

JoJo Siwa’s ex partner has taken a dig at Celebrity Big Brother’s Chris Hughes by sharing a TikTok video which accuses him of “manipulating” JoJo on the ITV show. Kath Ebbs shocked Celebrity Big Brother fans after Friday’s final when they revealed that JoJo had dumped them at the show’s afterparty.

While the 27-year-old has not spoken out since, they have reposted a series of videos about JoJo, 21, and Chris, 32 – including on which accuses him of using JoJo. “POV you’re watching a 21 year old girl getting manipulated by a 32 year old man who just pretended to be her safe space then discarded her when she wouldn’t reciprocate on international tv even though she’s a lesbian in a full relationship and you’ve got no one to talk to this about even though you predicted this would happen,” the text on the video reads.

The video, posted by a user named Annabelle, has the caption: “I literally said this would happen yesterday #cbb #cbbuk.”

During their time in the house, Chris and JoJo struck up a close bond which many speculated could have been romantic. JoJo’s now-ex Kath, who identifies as non-binary, added more fuel to the fire when they said in a video that JoJo had dumped them just hours after leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house.

“I was dumped at the party,” they said. “I was told there were confused feelings there and they had realised I wasn’t the person they wanted to spend the foreseeable with.”

However, Chris and JoJo insisted that they’re just friends after leaving the house. Speaking about her bond with Chris, JoJo said on This Morning: “It is platonic. We have a lot of fun together. Life is life and I don’t know any future of anything. But I’m really grateful for our dynamic and our bond that we have and whatever life does, life will do.”

Earlier today, JoJo opened up about the moment she realised that she wanted to end her relationship with Kath in a new podcast interview. Speaking on The Viall Files podcast, JoJo said: “I remember looking at my photo, because everyone was looking at theirs — Jack had his partner, Mickey had his dog, Chesney had his family.

“And I had mine as well, and it was a group photo. I remember thinking: I wasn’t happy that day. There was no reason I shouldn’t have been happy that day, but I wasn’t. And I remembered exactly why. That moment triggered something in me.”

Loose Women fans in disbelief as Linda Robson reveals family link to huge Hollywood star

Loose Women viewers were left stunned when Linda Robson dropped a surprise revelation on the show – she has an incredible link to a major Hollywood star

Linda Robson has revealed a huge family link to Hollywood star Anne Hathaway on Loose Women and viewers can’t quite believe it.

The Loose Women favourite, 67, told the panel that her son, Louis, wrote a song about Arsenal because the whole family are all avid supporters of the football team and the song ended up going viral – with Anne, 42, even hearing it and singing it to her millions of Instagram and TikTok followers.

“My son Louis wrote a song – because we are all Arsenal supporters – and my son wrote a song. It wasn’t about Arsenal, it was more about North London where we live, and then the Arsenal supporters picked up on it and it’s gone absolutely mad,” she told viewers.

“Now 60,000 or 70,000 fans are all singing his song over the Arsenal stadium and Anne Hathaway, who I never had a clue was a supporter, is singing it.”

Anne may be best known for her blockbuster film roles, but recently, the Hollywood A-lister has been turning heads for an entirely different reason – her passionate support for Arsenal Football Club.

The star of The Devil Wears Prada and The Dark Knight Rises is a fully-fledged Gooner, and she’s not keeping it under wraps.

In fact, Anne has been taking to TikTok to belt out North London Forever, Arsenal’s emotional anthem, with all the gusto of a Londoner herself. “The group chat is going off. ‘Declan is the man of the day’, I agree mum,” she shared in one post – proving Arsenal fever has taken over the Hathaway household.

Her football allegiance came into full view after she shared a spirited rendition of the anthem following Arsenal’s 3-0 dismantling of Real Madrid in the Champions League. While it’s not entirely clear when her Arsenal obsession began, clues suggest this isn’t just a recent fad.

Back in April 2024, during a press tour for The Idea of You, Anne and co-star Nicholas Galitzine – also a die-hard Arsenal fan -found themselves distracted mid-interview by live match updates.

“One-nil, Trossard!,” Galitzine exclaimed, to which Anne beamed: “Oh I love you,” then quickly added: “Sorry, we’re both fans of the same team, and there’s a match going on right now, and during our last interview they scored.”

The goal they were celebrating was of course Leandro Trossard’s against Wolves in Arsenal’s 2-0 win on April 20, 2024. Trossard even took notice, sending her a message: “Keep supporting us and hopefully see you soon at the Emirates.”

Despite the warm invite, it seems Anne has yet to make her pilgrimage to the Emirates Stadium.

Prior to that interview clip surfacing, there was little public trace of her being a Gunners supporter, but recent months have shown her fandom rising alongside the team’s Champions League charge.

Her love for the club now seems undeniable. Just weeks ago, she posted a photo in a red Arsenal shirt after Bukayo Saka’s comeback against Fulham, captioning it: “Welcome back #7.”

Coleen Nolan forced to apologise to emotional Loose Women co-star after blunder

Coleen Nolan was forced to make an on-air apology after she made an awkward blunder.

ITV’s Loose Women was the stage for a mix-up that had viewers amused, as host Coleen Nolan accidentally looked past her co-star Linda Robson on live television.

Coleen was in the driving seat for the April 30 episode of the chat show, joined by Janet Street-Porter, Linda Robson and the Heart Radio sensation Kelly Brook.

Before heading on a commercial break, Coleen hyped up what was still to come, hinting that Linda would soon share about her bond with Anne Hathaway and how they both cheer for Arsenal Football Club.

But, post-advert return saw an awkward moment when Coleen breezed past Linda’s anticipated segment, turning instead to Janet to open up about the significance of celebrating anniversaries.

Realising she had mistakenly cued Janet to voice her opinion instead of Linda, the ex-singer quickly caught on to her mistake, reports Belfast Live.

    Coleen Nolan

Further jitters escalated when Coleen, mid-request for Janet’s views on historical romances, corrected herself – halting abruptly to clarify: “We’re not, I’m not [going to you next].”

In a bid to ease the tension, she followed it up telling Janet: “I’m saving you.” With a bit of humour, Janet quipped back: “You’re giving me time to come up with my answer,” seemingly unfazed by the scheduling hiccup.

Coleen, Linda, Janet and Kelly on Loose Women
Coleen had accidentally overlooked Linda’s part in the show

Coleen, keen to get back on track, gestured towards Linda, asserting: “Linda, I’m going to ask you.” Now thrown off too, Linda responded with just a “What?” which sent the audience into fits of giggles, witnessing the panel navigate their on-air uncertainty.

The host owned up to her slip-up, apologising to Linda: “Sorry, sorry, I forgot to mention I was so excited to get to Janet’s love life that I forgot to mention about this Hollywood connection.”

    Linda Robson
    Linda became emotional on-air

When given the opportunity, Linda excitedly shared her link to Hollywood A-lister Anne Hathaway, who happens to be a massive Arsenal fan, just like Linda’s son Louis Dunford.

The Loose Women star and her son Louis recently were trending on social media after it came out that Louis is the brains behind Arsenal F. C.’s anthem, The Angel (North London Forever), well-loved and sung by fans across the globe.

Anne Hathaway, an avid supporter herself, showed some love by singing Louis’ hit on social media, a performance that aired on Loose Women and left everyone touched.

Back in the studio, Linda, clearly moved by the moment, confessed: “I think I might cry.” Spotting Linda’s emotional state Coleen offered support asking: “Are you ok, love, do you want a tissue?”

Masking her emotions from the cameras, Linda responded to the host: “I’m alright,” and they carried on with the programme.

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1, from 12:30pm.

As Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds face intense legal battles with It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni, longtime friend Hugh Jackman finds himself unexpectedly caught in the fallout

Hugh Jackman is facing online backlash after appearing to cosy up with longtime friend Ryan Reynolds, who is currently caught in the crossfire of a messy and very public legal saga involving his wife, Blake Lively.

Lively, 37, recently accused It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni of sexual misconduct and orchestrating a defamation campaign against her. Baldoni, 41, has since launched a countersuit, dragging both Lively and Reynolds into the legal drama, alleging they defamed him. All sides continue to deny any wrongdoing.

Despite the controversy swirling around the couple, Jackman, 56, seemed unbothered as he posed for a cheerful snapshot alongside Reynolds and Deadpool and Wolverine producer Shawn Levy at the premiere of Lively’s latest project, Another Simple Favor. He posted the image to Instagram with the simple caption: “We 3. Simple as that.”

While the photo was warmly received by some, it ignited a brutal response from others as fans cautioned Jackman to rethink his friendship group. One follower warned: “You look great together but Ryan is trouble, might wanna stay away from that side for awhile.”

Another added: “The more I hear about him and Blake, the more a break is needed if you want to keep your head above water.” Someone else commented: “I love Hugh but maybe he should not associate with these people any longer.”

The criticism didn’t stop there as a particularly disheartened fan declared: “Very close to unfollowing HJ as well… very disappointing that he is co-signing this behavior.”

However, the comments weren’t entirely one-sided. Supporters of Jackman pushed back against the backlash, condemning the idea of pressuring someone to cut ties over allegations still under legal scrutiny. One user argued: “Telling someone to drop their friends, when you don’t even know anyone in the situation you are talking about… That’s pretty messed up.”

Hugh is close with both Blake and Ryan

The legal standoff first gained traction in December, when Lively filed her lawsuit against Baldoni, citing detailed accounts of harassment and deliberate efforts to undermine her professionally. Her move came months after she discreetly initiated legal proceedings in September, reportedly aiming to gain access to compromising messages from Baldoni’s publicist.

Baldoni’s legal team struck back in January with a countersuit, accusing both Lively and Reynolds of defamation. Among the filings were purported text exchanges in which Lively described Reynolds and pop star Taylor Swift as her “dragons” – a term now under intense scrutiny.

Public support for Lively has been noticeably muted, even among her A-list friends, with many surprised at the silence from her inner circle. And as the legal case unfolds and the reputations of all involved hang in the balance, Hugh Jackman’s public closeness with Reynolds has become a big issue for fans.

During the show, Ben and Cat were heard talking about the current scorching weather the UK is experiencing, explaining that it’d be hotter than Ibiza this weekend.

However, due to the hot weather, fans were left baffled by Cat’s choice of footwear, as she wore a pair of tan knee high boots which appeared to have ropes wrapped around them.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter to question her footwear choices, one fan penned: “I have just noticed Cat is wearing the Scarecrows boots from the Wizard of Oz! #thismorning,” as another said: “Why has Cat got paper bags tied around her ankles??”

“What is Cat wearing on her feet? #thismorning” questioned a third. The mother of two paired the boots with a green and white long sleeve mini dress.

It seems fans were distracted during the show, which included an interview with Charlotte Jordan who plays Daisy Midgeley in Coronation Street ahead of her on screen exit.

Ben and Cat could be heard asking the actress if the soap had left it open for her character to return, to which she replied: “They’ve been really good to me.

“When I said ‘I think it’s time for me to go,’ I was fully prepared for them to run me over,” she laughed. “It would be fair enough, so I’m very grateful they’ve left the door open and said that if I’d like to come back I can.”

It comes after Cat enjoyed a break away from This Morning over the Easter earlier this month as Dermot O’Leary and Sian Welby stepped in for her and Ben.

During her break, Cat enjoyed a spot of sunshine as she jetted off with er husband, Patrick Kielty, 54, and sons, Milo and James. During her time away, Cat shared some rare family snaps on Instagram, which also included a photo of her husband, Patrick.

It’s been over a year since Cat and Ben first made their debut on the show as regular hosts. The pair were welcomed to the show on 11 March 2024, and their on screen chemistry has been going strong ever since.

The pair joined the show following the departure of Phillip Schofield, and later Holly Willoughby.

ITV’s Loose Women panellists Coleen Nolan and Jane Moore have delved into life after divorce, opening up about the realities of solitude, self-acceptance, and sex

On the latest episode of the Loose Women podcast, Coleen Nolan and Jane Moore didn’t hold back as they dived deep into the emotional and physical realities of life post-divorce – from rediscovering intimacy to tackling loneliness.

Reflecting on what it’s like to re-enter the world of sex after a long-term relationship, Coleen, 60, spoke honestly about her own experience following her split from Ray Fensome. Asking Jane, 62, if she’s thought about being intimate with someone new, Coleen teased: “If you have a relationship again… have you thought about, I wonder if I could get naked again?”

Taken aback but amused, Jane replied: “Well, you’re right in there with that question, aren’t you? I haven’t thought about it, but I am now, thanks for that.”

Coleen, known for her frankness, admitted she didn’t dwell too much on insecurities. “I wasn’t really concerned,” she said of her own return to dating. “If it happens, it happens. It will all happen naturally.”

She then recalled her sister Maureen’s reaction: “She went, ‘God I really admire you… there you are having sex again and you don’t care about your wobbly bits and blemishes.’ And I went, ‘Thanks Maureen, I didn’t really think about it at the time, but now you mention it!’”

Jane, meanwhile, shared that the idea of being with someone new after over two decades with ex-husband Garry Farrow feels unfamiliar. “The last time I had sex with somebody new was 22, 23 years ago,” she said. “I think maybe if it was someone my age or a bit older, it wouldn’t really bother me… we’ve all got bits and bobs that are a bit saggier and wrinklier.”

Touching on dating preferences, Coleen revealed she once limited her dating app filters to no more than a decade younger. She revealed: “I thought, I can’t go younger than that, because I will feel old.”

Aside from the humour and candidness around intimacy, the two also opened up about the emotional toll of separation. Coleen confessed she’s found comfort in solitude lately, but admitted that by the end of her marriage, the relationship felt hollow. “We were like lodgers,” she said. “He couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of parting ways.”

In a refreshingly honest exchange, the Loose Women presenters also explored what it really means to be alone and why, for some, solitude is a choice rather than a burden. Jane didn’t shy away from the tough questions: “Do you ever feel lonely?,” she asked.

But for Coleen, solitude has become something of a sanctuary. “No, I don’t. I’m loving it at the moment,” she replied. With a life full of people – from a buzzing TV studio to a large family and a working farm – Coleen explained that time spent alone in her countryside cottage is not something she dreads, but rather something she treasures.

“So when I’m in my little cottage, and all of a sudden I’m there… it’s like, ah. I just love that peace,” she said. Still, she acknowledged a quiet truth many avoid: “I’m not lonely, but I am actually alone. Everyone is having their own life, and you start to think about how that’s going to be as you get older.”

Coleen shared that unlike her sister Maureen, who “can’t be alone for an hour,” she’s always found comfort in her own company – possibly shaped by childhood experiences of independence. “I was too young to go off on tour with them in the early days,” she said, “so I did have that independence from a very early age.”

Jane added her own observations about how society often places pressure on single people to explain their status. “A lot of my friends who are single, they get fed up of people asking, ‘Do you want to find somebody? Are you lonely?’ And they’re like, ‘No, I enjoy solitude,’” she said.

Yet, she also noted that others stay in relationships out of fear of being alone: “I see some friends who are in relationships that maybe aren’t right for them because they don’t want to be on their own.”

Coleen then made it clear she wouldn’t fall into that trap. Recalling the final chapter of her marriage to Ray Fensome, she shared: “I asked him, ‘Why don’t you want us to split up?’ We were like lodgers in the same house.” His answer? “That’s what happens when you’ve been with someone for a long time.”

But Coleen wasn’t having it: “He couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of it. And I thought, I’m not settling because I’m in my mid-50s, and I think I should.” Instead, she found the idea of starting fresh thrilling: “I found it quite exciting to be on my own again and start again, be independent, but I definitely wouldn’t settle.”

As Jane looked toward her own future, she admitted there are moments of strangeness in her new normal – particularly in a house that now echoes with silence. “I’m excited for the future,” she said, “but… I haven’t got someone coming in and out of the house. It’s just me. One of the things I started noticing that I was doing… I was talking to myself. Which is what my mum used to do.”

A former Metropolitan Police officer explores the danger Holly Willoughby was in before her stalker was arrested in 2023. Philip Grindell, who now runs a firm protecting high-profile figures, appears in a new Channel 5 documentary about the foiled plot to kidnap, rape and murder the former This Morning presenter.

Gavin Plumb was last year found guilty of soliciting murder and inciting rape and kidnap following a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court. The 37-year-old, from Harlow in Essex, was sentenced at the same court in July to life in prison with a minimum term of 16 years.

The sentencing judge, Mr Justice Edward Murray, told Plumb: “There is no doubt that if you had genuinely found one or more accomplices who were seriously interested in and had been willing to join you in carrying your plan through then you would have put this plan into action.”

He sentenced the defendant to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 16 years, minus the 280 days he had spent on remand – taking the total to a minimum jail term of 15 years and 85 days.

A new documentary dives into the chilling real-life story behind The Plot to Kill Holly Willoughby, airing Thursday 1st May at 9pm on Channel 5. Holly declined to contribute or appear on the production and it’s reported she had concerns about the documentary.

The programme looks back on the events that unfolded in 2023, when Holly was quickly replaced on an edition of This Morning as she learnt of the vile plan to kidnap and kill her. Philip Grindell, a former Metropolitan Police officer offers his insight and expertise throughout the documentary.

“My name is Philip Grindell. I spent just under 30 years in the Metropolitan Police. I now run a consultancy… that looks after private clients… or people in the public eye,” he says when introducing himself. “I would say probably 60 to 70% of what we deal with is that unwanted attention, stalkers, harassment.”

Discussing Plumb, he declares: “He very clearly has a very long-standing fixation on Holly Willoughby. It’s a pathological fixation. It means from the minute he wakes up to the minute he goes to sleep, all he thinks about is this particular subject.

“He’s trapped in his own mind, and he doesn’t appear to have anyone that is steering him in certain directions away from something that might be harmful behaviour.”

At the end of the feature, he concludes: “He is a sexual predator and he’s been a sexual predator since he’s about 19 years old. This is his third time in prison as a sexual predator, he clearly hasn’t learned his lessons. In fact, he’s escalated and got it’s perversions have gotten more and more violent.

“And actually, you know, the reality is, rather than worrying about him, we should be worrying about Holly Willoughby, who is left with her lifetime of having to feel anxious, having to feel scared, having to feel alarmed about what’s being said and done about her online. So my thoughts are with her. Not with Plumb.”

Following the guilty verdict delivered to Plumb last year, Holly said in a statement: “As women we should not be made to feel unsafe going about our daily lives and in our own homes. I will forever be grateful to the undercover police officer who understood the imminent threat, and to the Metropolitan and Essex police forces for their swift response.

“Thank you to the Crown Prosecution Service, the Rt Hon Mr Justice Murray, Alison Morgan KC, the members of the jury and all involved in this case for ensuring that justice was done and that the defendant will not be able to harm any more women.

“I would also like to commend the bravery of his previous victims for speaking up at the time. Without their bravery this conviction may not have been possible.”

Location, Location, Location taking over Channel 4 with night of specials for 25th anniversary

Much-loved show Location, Location, Location will have a night of programming dedicated to it as the property series reaches the milestone of 25 years on our screens

    Phil and Kirstie
Phil & Kirstie will celebrate quarter of a century on air with their hit show next month

Channel 4 will mark 25 years of Location, Location, Location with a whole night of programming dedicated to the show, including a special containing never-before-seen bloopers and outtakes. As the series kicks off its 43rd run on 14 May, it will be followed by a special programme in which presenters Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer look back at the changing socio economic trends of the UK property market over the period.

A second special to mark the silver anniversary will then follow, with the pair selecting their favourite mistakes and daft moments from across the past quarter century and revealing all the “bleeps, bloops and best bits”

Phil said that along the way he and his sidekick have become firm friends – and gave credit to the crew who make the show. “Although quite surreal, it’s also been fun looking back and seeing not only how we have changed through the 25 years, but also watching how our friendship developed and then strengthened across the years. Being able to visit every part of the four nations and support hundreds of people in their home searches has been an enormous privilege – none of which would have been achievable without so many brilliant people behind the camera.”.

Kirstie added: “However many times I hear it I still can’t believe it has been 25 years, it is an enormous privilege to have the opportunity to travel around the whole country working with so many lovely house hunters and such brilliant crew. When Phil and I started we knew a bit about property and nothing about TV, we’ve learned a great deal more about property and a bit about TV. “

Since the show launched on May 17 2000, Kirstie and Phil have helped nearly 750 people with their property searches – viewing over 1,800 homes and being entrusted with more than £175 million of Brits’ money.

The new series kicks off with hunts for houses in North Wales and North London, before heading to Stirling and East Dunbartonshire, Oxfordshire, South London, Surrey, Chelmsford and Glasgow.

Deborah Dunnett, Commissioning Editor for Channel 4, said she’d enjoyed working on the show herself. “Location Location Location is not only a pioneer in being one of the first property series on television, it has also led the way in taking its production into the nations and regions with its Glasgow base. That’s where I first worked with Phil and Kirstie, directing Location Location Location, and it is a huge privilege to now commission a glorious night of TV celebrating the show’s enduring legacy – which, ultimately, is making peoples’ dreams come true.”
