ITV Loose Women’s Charlene White issues stern warning to Janet Street-Porter over ‘inappropriate’ comment

Loose Women host Charlene White was left stunned by her co-star Janet Street Porter’s ‘inappropriate’ comment as she was forced to issue a stern warning live on-air

The atmosphere on Loose Women’s Wednesday (16th April) episode took a sharp turn from jovial banter to a moment of tension as host Charlene White had to issue a firm warning following an inappropriate remark.

Charlene White was at the helm with Denise Welch, Janet Street Porter, and Mariella Frostrup by her side, as they dabbled in artificial intelligence to conjure up a human version of what a dog might look like.

Things got personal when producers chose to use Janet’s own furry friend, Badger, for the experiment to envision his human male counterpart.

The situation escalated into hilarity just before Badger’s big reveal, with Janet having mimicked her cherished canine live, which sent the audience and her fellow panellists into fits of laughter.

Amidst the chuckles, Charlene quipped: “Shall we see whether you were embarrassing yourself on National Television,” cueing the AI image’s debut while Denise excitedly exclaimed: “We love it”, reports Devon Live.

Janet said that the AI image “looked like a bin man”

“Will you please welcome Badger,” announced Charlene, as Denise reacted with: “Ohhh Janet, so attractive.”

The screen split to show Janet’s terrier transformed into a rugged, long-haired, bearded man, eliciting gasps from everyone at the strikingly handsome AI creation.

Janet, however, was far from pleased, protesting with a loud “No, no, no,” and voicing her discontent with the result.

Janet declared emphatically: “My Badger, well he’s my partner’s Badger and he’s going to get the hump after this. He bought Badger and we share him. That person, that dog person looks like a bin man.”

In disbelief, Charlene interjected: “Janet!” Unperturbed, the star continued: “My Badger is gorgeous. My Badger’s got love eyes, he’s got eyebrows.”

Stunned by Janet’s remark, Denise turned to the host, querying: “I think he looks nice, do you?” Charlene, however, was more taken aback by Janet’s offensive quip than the AI-generated image.

The presenter intervened with a serious caution directed at Janet: “Also, we don’t talk about our bin men like that Janet.”

Charlene reinforced firmly: “We definitely don’t do that.”

Acknowledging her faux pas, Janet concurred: “Oh alright, I’ll take that back and I’ll apologise to all refuse collectors everywhere, I am very very sorry, I am truly sorry.”

While Janet was speaking, Charlene forcefully interjected: “I tell you what I am going to do, move on from Badger,” briskly concluding the awkward exchange.

  • Palace insiders give blistering verdict on Prince Harry’s lonely UK visit

Palace insiders give blistering verdict on Prince Harry’s lonely UK visit

Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at the Royal Courts of Justice in London to attend an appeal hearing into his security arrangements – and it seems his unexpected attendance has raised eyebrows at the Palace

Prince Harry’s shock trip to the UK to attend one of his legal battles appears to have raised eyebrows with palace courtiers. The Duke of Sussex arrived in London at the weekend on a previously unannounced visit, and has spent two days attending the Royal Courts of Justice for his appeal related to his security arrangements while in the UK.

Harry is challenging the dismissal of his High Court legal action against the Home Office over the decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) that he should receive a different degree of taxpayer-funded protection when in the country.

It emerged that Harry has been in London since Sunday and his time in the city overlapped with his estranged father King Charles. However, reports suggested the pair did not meet before the King and Queen Camilla jetted off to Italy for a historic state visit.

This meant that Harry’s high-profile appearance at the Court of Appeal appeared to overshadow the second day of his father’s important trip aimed at strengthening ties between the UK and Italy. And one person close to the King told the Daily Mail’s Richard Kay that Harry had caused a “distraction” to the monarch’s visit.

Meanwhile, another said: “It is an unwritten rule that when the monarch is on an official overseas visit, the rest of the family have a duty to avoid anything that grabs the limelight. Has Harry forgotten everything about royal life?”

Harry is believed to have last seen his father more than a year ago when he dashed to the UK from the United States when it was announced that the King had been diagnosed with cancer. Harry also visited the UK without meeting his father in May last year, during a trip to celebrate his Invictus Games. He said at the time that he hoped to see his father “soon” after the King’s “full programme” meant a reunion was not then possible.

Harry and Charles’s relationship was strained during the period the duke stepped down as a working royal and moved to the US with wife Meghan and their family.

It has also previously been reported that the issue of Harry’s security has contributed to the already strained relationship between the Duke and his family. According to Harry’s friends, his calls to his father regarding the issue have gone “unanswered”, but sources close to the King have said that it would be “wholly inappropriate” for him to intervene.

At yesterday’s hearing, the court was told that Harry has been “singled out for different, unjustified and inferior treatment” when it comes to his security arrangements in the UK. Shaheed Fatima KC, for the duke, said: “When Ravec made its February 2020 decision about the appellant’s protective security, it did not apply its own terms of reference to that decision-making process.”

Ravec has delegated responsibility from the Home Office over the provision of protective security arrangements for members of the royal family and others, with involvement from the Metropolitan Police, the Cabinet Office and the royal household. Ms Fatima told the court that Ravec did not get an assessment from an “expert specialist body called the risk management board, or the RMB” and came up with a “different and so-called ‘bespoke process’”.

She said: “The appellant does not accept that ‘bespoke’ means ‘better’. In fact, in his submission, it means that he has been singled out for different, unjustified and inferior treatment. Not only does this bespoke process not involve the RMB, it also involves Ravec considering the reason why the appellant is attending a particular event, even though that is plainly irrelevant to the question of security.”

Ms Fatima added: “The appellant’s case is not that he should automatically be entitled to the same protection as he was previously given when he was a working member of the royal family. “The appellant’s case is that he should be considered under the terms of reference and subject to the same process as any other individual being considered for protective security by Ravec unless there is a cogent reason to the contrary.”

In written submissions, Ms Fatima also said: “On 8 January 2020, (the duke) and his wife felt forced to step back from the role of full-time official working members of the royal family as they considered they were not being protected by the institution, but they wished to continue their duties in support of the late Queen as privately funded members of the royal family.”

Kensington Palace releases new video of Kate Middleton as she makes important statement

The Princess of Wales joined Chief Scout Dwayne Fields as well as Scouts from Cumbria and Manchester for a trip to the Lake District, where she opened up about finding peace amid a “very busy world”

The Princess of Wales has opened up about her ‘spiritual’ and “very emotional” connection with nature and why it brings her peace in a “very busy world”.

Kate has appeared in a brand new video as part of her role as joint president of the Scouts that shows her joining a group of Scouts and Chief Scout Dwayne Fields on a trip to the Lake District.

Filmed last month, the footage sees the princess walking on the shores of Lake Windermere and spending time with Scouts aged 10 to 15 from groups in Cumbria and Greater Manchester as they undertake a challenge to earn their Naturalist Badge.

In one part of the video, Kate, who wears hiking boots and a bakerboy hat walks among the beautiful scenery with the Chief Scout discussing the importance of the natural world. And she gives a deeply personal insight into what nature means to her, admitting: “I find it a very spiritual and very intense emotional reconnection I suppose, these environments.

“Not everyone has that same relationship perhaps with nature, but it is so therefore meaningful for me as a place to balance and find a sort of sense of peace and reconnection in what is otherwise a very busy world.”

Kate, who is in remission from cancer, has long advocated the benefits of spending time in the natural world, previously revealing how nature became her family’s ‘sanctuary’ in the wake of her diagnosis and during her chemotherapy treatment.

The princess and Mr Fields also discuss the impact being in nature can have on young people in building their confidence and skills for later life. He tells Kate: “I think it’s really important for young people to have access to nature because it’s a space where they can push themselves, they can challenge themselves, they learn leadership skills, spend time making friends and those life-long really great memories that we all hold onto.

Kate with Chief Scout Dwayne Fields

“And I think if we can do that, we’ll build up a generation who is passionate about our natural spaces and passionate about protecting them as well.”

The Princess, in a knitted roll neck jumper, jacket, matching trousers, and walking boots, is then seen in the video joining Scouts on a walk before crouching down and helping them plot their routes around Windermere with maps, telling them: “It’s so beautiful because so many of the walks here you can see Lake Windermere because it is huge isn’t it?” She also asks them: “Look how hilly it is in here. Have you done any of these big mountains?”

She was also photographed standing and laughing with the Scouts while they sat eating ice-creams at a picnic table at the edge of the lake.

Kate has been joint president of the Scouts since 2020, and experiencing well-being in nature is said to be a cause very close to the princess’s heart. She explains: “What’s so fantastic about the Scouts is that the same foundations that have always been there and still despite how different the modern day world is now, actually it still resonates with so many young people – and it is making such a massive difference to them.”

Mr Fields adds: “When you come out into a natural environment, it helps you understand your self that much more. “We really belong in nature. We’re in tune with it and I think we need to come back to it because there is definitely something about being in nature that’s connected to our wellbeing.”

The video marks the first time that Kate has met the new Chief Scout since his appointment. Born in Jamaica, Mr Fields came to the UK at the age of six. He grew up in inner city London without access to nature and said the Scouts made a “huge difference” to his life.

He said: “In an increasingly complex world digital technology has its place, but the few hours we spent in the hills without screens was magical: we are often at our best in the outdoors, and I want more young people to experience outdoor adventures like this for themselves.

“Outdoor adventures can build the vital skills young people need for the rest of their lives, they hugely benefit health and wellbeing, and boost friendships. And with the help of more adult volunteers, we hope to get more young people out into nature in the future.” Kensington Palace said Kate’s visit to the Lake District, which was not announced at the time, took place in March.

Just several weeks ago, Kate also opened up about nature being her family’s “sanctuary” over the past year in a message to mark Mother’s Day. The princess, who was diagnosed with cancer last March, posted the message alongside a short video that included scenes of some of the UK’s most striking natural environments, from woodlands and fields to beaches and the ocean.

In the accompanying message, signed ‘C’, Kate wrote: “Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary. This Mother’s Day, let us celebrate Mother Nature and recognise how our bond with the natural world can help not only nurture our inner selves, but remind us too of the role we play within the rich tapestry of life.”

The Princess underwent a course of preventative chemotherapy after her cancer diagnosis and announced in September that she had completed her treatment.

Prince Harry admits he’s ‘proud’ of Meghan Markle in rare personal statement

Prince Harry has shared a rare personal statement about his wife Meghan Markle following the launch of her new wellness brand, As Ever, and the couple’s new podcast series

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has been hogging the headlines recently with the launch of her new Netflix series, her As Ever brand, and her fresh podcast ‘Confessions of a Female Founder. ‘ Her triumphant return to social media earlier this year caused quite the stir in the press.

Despite the potential for jealousy amongst partners in such circumstances, Prince Harry is bursting with pride over his wife’s success. In a revealing chat with PEOPLE magazine, he openly expressed his complete backing for Meghan’s endeavours.

The Prince gushed: “I am so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she’s done and continues to do. I’m incredibly proud.”

At the age of 40, the Duke of Sussex has been an unwavering pillar of strength during Meghan’s entrepreneurial ascent, and he has, for the first time since her brand hit the scene, shared the extent of his elation over her triumphs.

This show of confidence follows prior expressions of encouragement seen in Meghan’s own Netflix documentary series ‘With Love, Meghan. ‘ In the series’ finale, Harry popped up just long enough to drop by a celebratory brunch for Meghan’s business venture, steal a quick kiss, and proclaim: “You did a really great job. I love it”, reports the Express.

With family being Harry’s top priority, Meghan’s growing popularity and resurgence in the public eye since their 2020 departure from Royal duties makes it increasingly crucial for the Prince to win his UK court battle for state-funded security.

Fears for the safety of his wife and two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have driven Harry’s relentless fight with the UK government to reinstate his state-funded security detail during UK visits, which was revoked when he chose to step down as a working Royal.

One of Harry’s core convictions is that the removal of security was a deliberate attempt to control him and Meghan, deterring them from leaving Royal life and moving to the US. Harry has admitted that coming to this realisation was “difficult to swallow”.

The tragic fate of his mother, Princess Diana, who died in a 1997 Paris car crash while being pursued by paparazzi, continues to haunt Harry. Notably, at the time of her death, she was only protected by private security.

Furthermore, Harry firmly believes that his father, King Charles, could easily intervene to reinstate his security and ensure his family’s safety. However, Charles’s inaction has only strained the relationship between father and son.

Prince Harry feels compelled to keep his children away from the UK due to the refusal to reinstate his enhanced security, a move he believes is crucial for their safety. This decision is greatly affecting their opportunity to connect with their British heritage and family.

While the court appeal is still active, many specifics are withheld due to the sensitive nature of the case. However, it has been disclosed that Prince Harry has been profoundly disturbed by some revelations during the private hearings.

“People would be shocked by what’s being held back,” Harry remarked.

Nonetheless, despite these challenges, the Prince remains “cautiously optimistic” about reaching a favourable outcome in the near future.

Prince Harry and King Charles’ relationship rift deepens as pair ‘are distant’

Prince Harry and King Charles’ relationship is thought to still be strained, with the Duke of Sussex failing to visit his father during his recent UK trip

Prince Harry’s royal rift with King Charles deepens as pair ‘are distant’

Prince Harry seems to have no intention of mending fences with his father King Charles anytime soon.

The Duke of Sussex, who has been in the UK recently to challenge a court decision regarding his private security, did not take the opportunity to see his father during his stay—even as King Charles undergoes cancer treatment. The relationship between the two has grown increasingly cold over the years, exacerbated by Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s candid revelations about the Royal family in their 2021 Netflix documentary and Harry’s tell-all 2023 book, ‘Spare’.

Despite the fact that King Charles is undergoing further cancer treatment and has had to step back from his Royal responsibilities, Harry seemed detached on his latest trip to the UK, failing to visit the ailing monarch. Their bond appears to be under significant strain, with no signs pointing towards reconciliation.

Speaking to People magazine an insider stated: “I don’t think there is any rapprochement. Nothing has changed.”

Another source echoed the sentiment, saying: “They are distant.”

In February last year, when King Charles’ cancer diagnosis became public, Harry made a swift visit to be by his father’s side, yet it’s reported that this meeting lasted only 30 minutes. Since then, it’s believed the father and son have not seen each other , reports the Mirror US.

At the time, Harry disclosed that he was personally informed about his father’s health condition by the King himself, prompting him to fly out immediately to be with him. He shared his appreciation for the opportunity to be with his father during such a time, stating, “Look I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him I’m grateful for that.”

While Harry remained tight-lipped about the specifics of his father’s illness, he made it clear that “that stays between us.”

Nonetheless, when probed about whether this health scare might heal their strained relationship, Harry optimistically said, “Yeah, I’m sure. Throughout all these families I see it on a day-to-day basis the strength of the family unit coming together. I think any illness, any sickness brings families together.”

Amidst this personal family matter, Harry is also contending with additional stress due to an ongoing legal battle in the UK regarding his security arrangements, which has reportedly exacerbated tensions with his father and other members of the Royal family.

Harry is embroiled in a contentious debate over his entitlement to security while in the UK, having forfeited his automatic right to police protection upon relinquishing his role as a senior Royal. People also reports that Harry holds the belief that his father has the influence to restore his security detail, a claim that has been refuted as “wholly inaccurate” by a palace insider.

A pal of Prince Harry has disclosed to a magazine that the Duke finds himself hitting a wall when trying to connect, saying, “He gets ‘unavailable right now.’ His calls go unanswered. He has tried to reach out about the King’s health, but those calls go unanswered too.”

Another mate chimed in with concerns, noting, “Harry is frightened and feels the only person who can do anything about it is his father,” while an insider claimed, “Harry is determined to protect his own family at all costs.”

The Duke of Sussex is currently contesting the rejection of his High Court case against the Home Office over the decision by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) to alter his security arrangements in the UK. In a confidential session, Harry voiced his deepest anxieties about the possibility of losing his police protection and has openly criticised the proceedings.

But it’s not just with his father that Harry’s relations are strained; he’s also distanced from his elder brother, Prince William. The siblings are believed to be out of close contact, marking a significant shift from their past closeness.

Despite this, there’s talk that Harry is eager to mend fences, particularly during his latest visit, where he was reportedly keen on reconciling with William. A source informed The Express: “Harry really is keen to try to salvage some kind of relationship or even reopen dialogue. They have not had any full-length conversations or discussions since they had some time together around the Queen’s passing.

“And some of us saw Harry being so close to his brother as a gesture of saying ‘hey I am here, close by… what about us trying to work things out’? The sad thing is that many of us, within Harry’s friends’ circles, feel he wants to somehow make peace and return to talking terms.”

Mel B has released an emotional statement following the death of Danny Dearden, who she had previously mentored at the judge’s houses stage of ITV talent contest, The X Factor

Spice Girl’s star Melanie Brown has released an emotional statement following the death of Danny Dearden. The X Factor singer died at the age of 34. He had previously made it through to Mel B’s house at the Judges house stage of the reality TV show in 2014.

Mel B mentored him before he found success away from the show. Now, Mel has shared her sorrow on social media. Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “Tragic news hearing Danny Dearden has passed. I remember him back in his X Factor days and how talented you always were but also how kind to everyone.”

Sharing love heart emojis, Mel ended: “Sending love to anyone who knew Danny.” She wrote the post over an image of the singer. It was announced that the late singer had secretly been suffering from a “long health battle” prior to his death, a representative confirmed.

However, he didn’t make the final cut, being pipped at the post by fellow contestants Jake Quickenden, Andrea Faustini and Paul Akister.

Despite missing out on one of the three places in the final of the popular TV talent show at the time, Danny went on to have a successful career as a vocalist and songwriter.

Following the news of his death, manager Denise Beighton said: “Heartbroken to wake up to the news that you’re gone. I have no words right now, rest easy beautiful boy.”

In a statement, his team said: “We are heartbroken to announce the sad loss of our dear friend and artist Danny Dearden, who passed away peacefully this morning after a long illness. Danny was one of the most talented, hardworking people we have worked with and has made a big mark on the industry amassing more than 30 Million Streams and collaborating with huge dance names such as Michael Calfan and Dario G. RIP Danny.”

Among others sharing tributes to the star was singer John McDermott. His touching tribute read: “It is with a heavy heart to hear of the passing of a great friend and such a talented artist Danny ‘D’ who passed away early this morning at the tender age of 34.

“My deepest condolences go out to his mum Cath and all his Family and friends at this heartbreaking time. R.I.P. Danny. We all loved you so, so much! No words right now a tragic loss to everyone and so talented too.”

Danny previously admitted he found out he could sing while he was “getting drunk with the lads”. Coming from a background in joinery, Danny was not the typical X Factor contestant as he said he found his singing voice when he drunkenly took to the stage to sing karaoke with his pals.

He said in 2014: “I know I sang pretty average in the first audition, I know I didn’t sing well. I thought, ‘I’ve got to up my game here’.”

Seven years after his stint on the ITV singing contest, Danny signed a deal with Sentric Music. It came after he had amassed over 15 million streams on Spotify.

His collaboration with French producer Michael Calfan, Could Be With You – has topped nearly 14million Spotify streams and has been played on BBC Radio 1 Party Anthems with Scott Mills. It also featured on ITV’s Love Island.

He had previously posted on Instagram in December 2023 talking about how the NHS had saved his life.

He said at the time: “This year has been a bit of a rocky one, at one point I was told I probably wouldn’t be here today…well I am.”

He also spoke on social media last year saying he had not been in the “best of health recently.”

His last social media post saw the singer share a photo on Instagram from hospital. Back in December, he uploaded an image of a Costa Coffee takeaway cup. There was a blue curtain and medical equipment seen behind it and he hashtagged the photo “hot chocolate,” also adding: “The best thing since sliced bread.”

Trisha Goddard faces hardship amid terminal cancer – just hours after Big Brother axe

Legendary TV presenter Trisha Goddard became the second star to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house – and she has been immediately been snapped back to reality amid her cancer diagnosis

Trisha Goddard is back to reality after unfortunately being evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house on Tuesday night. The legendary TV presenter was up against EastEnders star Patsy Palmer and Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd but unfortunately, she was the housemate who received the fewest amounts of votes from viewers.

Trisha, 67, who lives with stage four breast cancer – meaning it’s treatable but not curable – said that she loved being in the house because it was a huge distraction from her cancer diagnosis and treatments. While she was still in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Trisha was being treated by a palliative care team, after having a major treatment just before joining the show. Trisha first fought the disease in 2008, but was sadly diagnosed in 2023 for a second time.

While many of the celebrities in the house are cracking under the pressure, Dancing on Ice alum Trisha said that being there was a ‘respite’ from the outside world – where she is facing far more important issues than nominations and shopping orders. During a thought-provoking scene on Tuesday’s episode before her eviction, Trisha said that she was in no rush to get back to the real world as the reality of her situation had dwindled while in the house.

While speaking to Angellica Bell, Trisha shared: “I kind of realised – I know the big ‘C’ comes up a lot – here’s a holiday from it. Do you get me? I can just have fun and things like that, and then when I get back out I’m sort of-“

Angellica interjected: “Back to it? Back to reality, it’s sort of a bubble isn’t it?” Trisha agreed, saying: “It’s a bubble, as I say it’s been my respite – not that I expected it to be, I’m completely surprised by that. It’s been a respite from treatment and stuff.” Moments later, amid growing tensions in the house, Trisha jokingly shared that the “bubble” in the house was no match for real life. “I’ve survived worse,” she said.

Trisha is now back to reality and will be undergoing more treatment straight after leaving the house. Before entering the iconic house last week, she told hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best: “So my oncologist is my biggest cheerleader and is working with the Big Brother team. I’ve got a special therapist who’s happy to work with the medic on the show.

    Trisha Goddard

“My palliative care team – and when I say that word everybody screams and runs away, but it’s symptom treatment – is working with the team here too. And then when it comes to my treatment, I had one infusion on Monday, so I’ve got to jump on a plane and go straight back to have the next one as soon as the show is over. I’ve got a bag full of meds that I normally have which will be with me in the house. So my oncologist has planned my treatment around the production schedule.”

It comes after Celebrity Big Brother fans slammed those who booed Trisha as she became the second housemate to be evicted from the show last night. Trisha had joined the show with a mission to inspire her audience not to fear life, despite battling terminal stage four cancer.

After a nine-day stint, she exited the show but Trisha was met with a chorus of boos from some of those in the crowd outside. Viewers watching at home were sickened by the cruel backlash.

“Yes Trisha is opinionated and sometimes talks too much about herself but she’s certainly not worthy of being booed, especially when she has terminal cancer like the crowd can F off with that #CBBUK,” one penned on X.

“Regardless of whether or not you find trisha likeable, booing a woman with stage 4 Cancer is a genuinely terrible thing to do and this audience should be embarrassed #cbbuk,” another added as a third wrote: “Trisha saying she likes the distractions in the house and there are losers booing her- I don’t care how annoying she is, don’t be heartless #cbbuk.”

Upon her exit, Trisha confessed feeling “a bit sad” but also reflected positively on her stint in the house.

Olivia Attwood has spoken out about Chris Hughes’ very close relationship with his buddy JoJo Siwa. The duo have landed themselves in hot water for sharing secret messages on Celebrity Big Brother – as fans can’t get over their ‘ weird ’ bond.

Olivia, 33, and Chris, 32, started dating when they met on Love Island in 2017, and went on to reach fourth place before calling it quits on the outside a year later.

While it’s been a few years since they were together, Olivia has kept a close eye on Chris’ antics in the Big Brother house, and spoke about the drama with buddy Pete Wicks on their KISS radio show.

The I’m a Celebrity star said of the JoJo speculation: “I’m getting tagged in thousands because obviously Chris and I used to date – we’re going back like six or seven years but we did.”

Olivia then shared her own theories on the relationship between Chris and JoJo, saying that the “clips look like there could be something there.” She cryptically added: “I guess it’s how you interpret it.”

She then bolstered the rumour that Chris might have ulterior motives, saying: “The internet is going two ways – the internet is going that there’s something there, there might be feelings from one side or the other. The other side of the internet is asking is Chris playing the game – she has a lot of followers, she’s very famous…’

In tonight’s episode, tensions are high in the house as Big Brother outs JoJo and Chris’ secret messaging, revealing to the housemates: “At 1:59am in the bedroom, JoJo wrote messages on Chris’ hand in secret. Chris gave JoJo his hand and said, ‘you can write it out’. JoJo then wrote on Chris’ hand and said ‘It makes sense, think about it.’”

The close pals were served a punishment of only talking through megaphones to avoid more secrets, but the other housemates don’t think the punishment is fitting.

“I told you they’ve been having secret conversations,” Ella-Rae Wise said, while Daley Thompson raged: “But that’s not a punishment, that’s a punishment for us. They’re laughing because they’re annoying us.”

While the housemates were fuming to hear JoJo and Chris dominate attention with megaphones, fans at home have been more focused on figuring out what their secret message was.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan speculated: “She spells out ‘HOT’ he was surprised why she was on the floor I think she was trying to tell him she’s too hot.”

Another fan said: “JoJo could have noticed how Ella has been acting towards Chris and was telling him, and spelling it out so nobody would hear.” Meanwhile, many others thought it was some form of declaration of love for Chris.

Zara McDermott and Louis Tomlinson finally confirm romance with telling snap

Zara McDermott and Louis Tomlinson have been dating for weeks but it appears that the former Love Island star has finally confirmed her relationship with the One Direction singer with a new snap

Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott have confirmed their romance with a telling new social media snap. The pair had been rumoured to be dating for a few weeks now, after being pictured out on a date in Suffolk.

Sources told The Mirror just a few weeks ago that One Direction star Louis Tomlinson and Love Island star Zara McDermott had only been dating for a “couple” of weeks but insiders also said that the One Direction star is “clearly making her smile.”

Friends had said that “it’s very early days but it’s clear she is having fun like any single, twenty-something”. Zara broke up with Sam Thompson in December and she had been enjoying a “low-key but fun two weeks” with Louis.

In a new photo posted to social media, Zara shared her food and the food of the person she was with, tagging the fact she was in Malibu. Eagle eyed fans noticed that Louis’ tattoo was visible in the snap, soft launching their relationship.

Louis and Zara were spotted at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh where rooms cost up to £315 a night. They reportedly dined on £100 fish and chips plus cocktails, and looked “every bit the happy couple”. Louis’ sisters Lottie, Daisy, and Phoebe, also all followed Zara on Instagram a few weeks ago – with Zara reciprocating by following Louis and all the Tomlinson sisters.

Earlier this week, Zara and Louis posted matching snaps to show they were together. They both separately revealed that they were at The Wiltern in California, watching Stereophonics for a glam date night.

Their videos had been posted on their social media separately but roughly at the same time and it was clear they were together as the view was very similar. During their date in Suffolk, sources claimed Louis planned the special trip.

They said: “They looked every bit the happy couple. Louis is a proper gentleman so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara. He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special. They share the same values and are both close with their families.”

Another insider added of the pair’s budding romance: “Zara has already met all the family and they can tell that she has made Louis giddy. It’s the first time in a long time that they have seen him happy. They think Zara is super wholesome and health-conscious so they are happy he is with someone who shuns the party life.”

Louis is said to be “very protective” over his sisters and that Zara is “the same” with her younger brother Brad. The pair are said to be enjoying each other’s company to “see where it takes them.”

Gene Hackman and wife Betsy buried in intimate ceremony nearly 2 months after death

The bodies of Hollywood star Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa have been buried in an intimate family funeral nearly two months after they were found dead

Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa have been buried almost two months after their deaths shocked the world. Their funeral service was held in Santa Fe, New Mexico, it has been reported.

Prior to their burial, Gene’s three children and a number of close friends attended a private memorial. The couple, who were found dead in their Santa Fe home on February 26, have now been laid to rest.

Their deaths stunned the world after they were discovered at their home along with one of their dogs, a kelpie mix named Zinna. Two other dogs were found alive and well at the $4million property.

Despite the initial mystery surrounding their death, it was later discovered Betsy had died around a week before her husband. The post-mortem examination showed Betsy, who was also known as Betsy Hackman, 65, died of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome – a rare but potentially fatal disease which spreads to humans through infected rodent droppings or saliva.

A pathologist added that Gene had died of heart disease a week after his wife. Dr Heather Jarrell, chief medical examiner for New Mexico, also said that Alzheimer’s disease was “a significant contributory factor”.

The expert said was “reasonable to conclude” that Betsy died of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome on February 11 at the couple’s home in Santa Fe. Discussing Gene’s death, she added: “Mr Hackman’s initial pacemaker data revealed cardiac activity on February 17, with subsequent pacemaker interrogation demonstrating an abnormal rhythm of atrial fibrillation on February 18, which was the last record of heart activity.

“Based on this information, it is reasonable to conclude that Mr Hackman probably died around February 18. Based on the circumstances, it is reasonable to conclude that Ms Hackman passed away first with February 11 being the last time that she was known to be alive.”

A health assessment carried out by the New Mexico Department of Public Health a week after the pair’s bodies were discovered found dead rodents and their nests in ‘eight detached outbuildings’ on the spacious property. According to TMZ, this made it a ‘breeding ground’ for the deadly hantavirus.

It has since been revealed that in the days prior to her death, Betsy was looking for health information and breathing techniques. The rare, rodent-borne disease that killed her is known to have a range of symptoms.

These include flu-like illness, headaches, dizziness and severe respiratory distress. Now, a review of the open bookmarks on her computer on February 8 and the morning of February 12 have revealed her search history.

The details show Betsy had actively researched medical conditions related to COVID-19 and flu-like symptoms.
