MEGHAN MARKLE claimed it was Kate, Princess of Wales who made her cry ahead of her royal wedding to Prince Harry. The Duchess touched on the fallout over flower girls’ dresses while speaking to Oprah Winfrey.

Meghan Markle, 39, claimed it was Kate, Princess of Wales, 39, who reduced her to tears and not the other way around ahead of her royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018. Speaking to Oprah Winfrey in a bombshell interview about her time as a senior royal, Meghan lifted the lid on the spat between the two Duchesses that took place in the lead-up to Meghan’s big day.
The pre-wedding row had previously been reported by Tatler as Meghan having been the one to reduce Kate to tears, an allegation Meghan sought to turn around.
Asked what did go on by Oprah, Meghan responded: “What actually happened? The reverse.”
Meghan added: “I am not sharing this to be in any way disparaging about her [Kate]. I would hope that she would want that to be corrected.”

According to Meghan, Kate “really hurt my feelings” but then later apologised.
Meghan said she had wanted her sister-in-law to back decisions she had made in regards to the wedding.
The Duchess said: “She made me cry and it really hurt my feelings… I thought in the context of everything else going on in the days before the wedding, didn’t it make sense to do what everyone else was doing knowing what was going on with my dad and whatnot.”
Meghan conceded that Kate “apologised and I [had] forgiven her”.
As well a serious of damaging accusations against the Royal Family, Meghan revealed several new details about her and Prince Harry’s personal life.
Among the bombshell revelations was the fact that Harry and Meghan tied the knot three days prior to their official royal wedding.
Meghan told Oprah: “I was thinking about it, you know our wedding—three days before our wedding, we got married.
“No one knows that. We called the Archbishop and we just said, look, this thing, this spectacle is for the world.”
Meghan added: “But we want our union between us, so the vows that we have framed in our room are just the two of us in our backyard with the Archbishop of Canterbury and that was the piece that…”
Meghan and Harry also revealed the gender of their unborn baby, confirming they were due to welcome a daughter this summer.
The couple told Oprah: “It’s a girl!”
Speaking of their complete family, Prince Harry added: “Two is it.”
Bombshells claims from Meghan’s Oprah interview
Meghan Markle made a serious of damaging claims about the Royal Family during her time as a working royal.
Among the biggest bombshells were Meghan’s claim a relative of Harry asked him “how dark” their unborn child would be with the Duchess claiming Archie being mixed-race was a “problem” for the royals after Oprah asked her if they were worried their son was “too brown.”
The duchess also said she had suicidal thoughts while five months pregnant with Archie.
Meghan she reached a point where she “just didn’t want to be alive anymore. And that was a very real and clear and frightening and constant thought.”
