The raunchy role haunting Meghan

Raunchy early role comes back to haunt Meghan

Billed as ‘a real-life guide to sex, drugs and bad behaviour’, a shelved TV project now threatens to embarrass Meghan Markle in a big way.

You might think England’s royal family has total control of Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle — but they ain’t got nothing on hungry Hollywood producers.

Monday on The Late Late Show with James Corden, guest Max Greenfield (The Neighborhood) revealed he had filmed a raunchy pilot with Markle way back in 2011, after her stint as a briefcase model on Deal or No Deal, and before her run on USA’s Suits.

“It was called like, The Girls and Boys Guide To Getting Down, Greenfield, 38, tells Corden. “It was a pilot for Comedy Central; Adam Pally was in it.”

Now, nearly a decade later, the long-shelved project will finally see the light of day.

“I got some sort of email recently saying, ‘This person has bought it and they’re putting it out’ and I was like, ‘Great, good for you,’” says Greenfield.

If the Queen isn’t on board with Meghan and Prince Harry being philanthropists, she sure isn’t going to be happy about this.

The 2011 pilot has been bought by a mystery distributor.

The IMDb plot synopsis for The Girls and Boys Guide to Getting Down bills it as an “outrageous” satirical guide to surviving a marathon bender (i.e., “which substances shouldn’t be mixed”) — and, of course, getting laid. Another familiar face stands out in the cast list: Eva Marcille, now a cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

No word yet on the mystery buyer — whose efforts to cash in on royal mania will almost certainly be greeted by a rabid audience hungry for all things Meghan.

Meanwhile, Green expressed some regrets about not befriending the future wife of Prince Harry.

“Meghan and I, we really didn’t connect after that or during that,” says Greenfield. “Look, had I known, I maybe would have played my cards a little differently.”
