According to The Guardian, David Beckham is about to release a documentary about his life and career.

In it, the former British player revealed that he was miserable while struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

The 48-year-old star said: “When my wife and children sleep, I will go around cleaning candles, turn on the lights in the appropriate mode, and make sure everywhere is tidy.

I hate going downstairs in the morning and seeing dishes and glasses.” , plates… haven’t been cleaned yet.

I left the remaining candle wax on the table, cleaned cups. It’s the job I hate the most but I have to do it. I know, I’m weird.”

When the camera panned to Beckham’s clean kitchen, the famous player proudly said: “I clean it very cleanly.

I’m not sure if my wife appreciates that or not.”

In response, Victoria Beckham stood behind the camera, telling the film crew that her husband was “so perfect”.

This is not the first time Beckham has shared about OCD syndrome.

The father of four admitted to British media that he used to fold clothes and arrange magazines in straight lines or symmetrically.

Beckham also revealed that one of the reasons why he continues to get tattoos is because he is addicted to the feeling of pain.

In an interview with ITV, Beckham confided: “This syndrome causes me to arrange everything in straight lines or in pairs.

I will put bottles of soft drinks in the refrigerator. If there are too many bottles, I will put them into another cupboard somewhere.

Everything has to be perfect.”
