Stacey Solomon issued warning about husband Joe Swash on wedding day

Stacey Solomon made a return to our TV screens on Wednesday night as she treated viewers to another run of her BBC hit show

Stacey Solomon has opened up about her wedding day as she revealed that she was given a stern warning about Joe Swash just moments before she walked down the aisle.

The Loose Women star, 35, made a return to our TV screens as she treated viewers to another run of her BBC hit show, Stacey Solomon’s Crafty Christmas.

The hour-long Christmas special saw the presenter create Christmas decorations and gifts with the help from friends and family.

Among the guests appearing on the show was husband Joe Swash, who was on hand to help Stacey create personal items for their home.

Talk soon turned to the special day the couple decided to tie the knot and Stacey couldn’t help but open up about one particular moment as she said: “You were a blubbering mess on our wedding day, do you remember?”

The TV star revealed: “Your mum had to come out and warn me. I could see your tears from the beginning of the aisle.”

Joe replied: “Well at least one of us got emotional at the wedding eh. Oh ice queen.” Stacey joked: There was no room for me to get emotional. You were doing it for the both of us.”

Stacey and Joe are known to have one of the strongest relationships in the industry. The couple first met after Stacey was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2010, and have gone from strength to strength.

They went on to tie the knot in the grounds of Pickle Cottage in July 2022 and now share three children Rex, four, Rose, two, and Belle, one, plus Stacey has two older sons from a previous relationship, Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 12. Joe also has a son Harry, 16, with his ex-partner.

Elsewhere on the show, Stacey threw a special Christmas party at her Grandma Gwen’s residential home, to give all the residents and their carers a magical evening to remember.

Together with husband Joe and their children, her sister Jemma and Sort Your Life Out co-star Dilly Carter, Stacey put everyone to work to transform a space inside the home into a Christmas wonderland, and the pressure was on Joe to get all Stacey’s decorations delivered on time and unscathed.
