Loose Women star Coleen Nolan admitted she had done one vengeful thing with an ex in the past, but added that she immediately regretted it the following day
The Loose Women panel and studio audience were left gobsmacked on Tuesday morning after Coleen Nolan revealed how she took revenge on a cheating ex-boyfriend.
Christine Lampard, Kéllé Bryan and Brenda Edwards joined Coleen on the panel as they discussed pettiness in the wake of a break-up after Shakira caused a stir last week with her latest song, which appears to take aim at her ex Gerard Piqué.
The targeted lyrics prompted the panel to reflect on their own behaviour following a break-up, with Coleen saying her approach is ‘the best form of revenge is to be happy’.
She told the panel: “I always think, for me, even when sometimes you’re not happy and you’re crying inside and then they see you again, say hi.

“Their ego can’t stand you getting over them, so you’re feeding their ego more if you keep going on at them. I’ve always been one to appear happy.”
However, the former singer then admitted she had done one vengeful thing in the past, but added that she immediately regretted it the following day.
Coleen went on to explain how an ex-boyfriend cheated on her, but that she ultimately became friendly with the girl who he left her for.
She said: “We talked and it was fine. But she kept saying this thing every time we met, which was ‘He’ll never do it to me’.

“In the end, I thought, what are you saying here? Like I deserved it? You’re saying you’re better than me almost.”
Coleen said she then decided to invited her ex-boyfriend around to her house for a ‘little chat’ and then told the studio: “I slept with him,” prompting open-mouthed looks from her fellow panellists and a raucous response from the live studio audience.
A sheepish Coleen continued: “It gets worse. Because the next day I went round and I went ‘He did’.”
Brenda laughed as she replied: “Nobody mess with Coleen,” but the TV presenter insisted she felt tremendously guilty about her actions.

“Just don’t annoy me with it. You’re seeing my ex but don’t rub my face in it girl.”
Host Christine laughed as she replied: “Didn’t take you too long to go around to tell them, did it?” and a straight-faced Coleen said: “No, I literally went round the next morning.”
