Loose Women stars Charlene White and Jane Moore clashed on today’s episode of the ITV lunchtime show, as they discussed the government’s plan to send migrants to Rwanda
Charlene White and Jane Moore clashed over the government’s plan to send migrants to Rwanda on Loose Women today.
The pair were joined by Frankie Bridge and Linda Robson on the ITV show this lunchtime, where they debated the UK government’s decision to trial sending migrants to Rwanda to have their papers processed.
She said: “It feels as though not all migrants are the same. We treat one sector migrants slightly different from another.”

However, Jane quickly jumped in, insisting that it was different because not all came from war torn countries.
“But not all of them come from a war torn country, a lot of them are coming – and I don’t blame them. Listen, if I lived in a country that was economically much more substandard than this one and I wanted a better life, I’d absolutely try and get into those countries,” she said, “But a lot of them are not coming from war torn countries, they’re coming to get a better life, and I can’t blame them for that.
“But if that better life is to the detriment of people already living here -”

She was cut off by Charlene, who began to speak, before Jane finished off her point.
“People already here, if that’s to the detriment of their lives,” she added.
Charlene said: “But I think it’s really to easy blame to those who have the quietest voices. It’s easy to blame them for the ills of society. Yes we are in a cost of living crisis, all those things, but it isn’t really the fault of the 28,000 people who arrived by boat last year.”
Jane quickly then stepped in to say: “I’m not saying that – I’m asking what is the solution?”
During the debate, the group discussed the government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme, which has seen many people from the war torn country enter the UK to live in homes up and down the entire UK.
