The DC Universe will introduce a new team of young heroes, including Batgirl

DC to launch new series focusing on younger heroes like Stephanie Brown’s Batgirl

The artist Travis Mercer has been publishing some designs of certain characters from the DC Universe, which will be part of a new series. Mercer began sharing the images last week, and has offered a preview of what we can expect next from DC Comics.

The new team that will defend the DC Universe

The title being prepared will feature a group of younger heroes, including la Batgirl de Stephanie Brown, Thunderheart, Surge, Fairplay, Quiz Kid y Animal Girl.

On the other hand, the artist revealed that the story is being written by the person responsible for the current series of Green LanternJeremy Adams. Below we share his original post.

“I feel like I’ve been doing a lot of character studies for things lately and I’m really enjoying them! Here’s the Stephanie Brown Batgirl/spoiler sketch.

Mercer then continued to share more images about the mysterious DC series, showing in one the son of Mr. TerrificFairplayand his companion Quiz Kid.

At this time, there are not many details about this project, so we will have to wait for an official announcement to know what the new series focused on these superheroes from DC Comics
